Review Duplay - Jaipur

I went here with a gang of 12 people and had a good time. The food was just OK, not quite the best. We went on Friday night so the crowd was not enough .. maybe Saturday night would have been a better experience. The cover/entry charges should be waived off for females at least.

I have heard that this one is actually nice and crowded mostly though it was almost empty when we went there last Saturday around 11PM. Stag entry is there for 3k/person. Couple I guess is 1k or 2k/person. Overall I find it okay-ish to be honest (mostly because there were only 3 couple other then my bang)

So..i was staying at Radisson City Centre over the weekend and I thought of visiting this famous night club in the hotel. First impression- disappointing! While i wont even talk about the empty place with a handful of people on a Friday night (around 1 am)..the sound system was pathetic..audio quality sub average..very tiny place..the drink options were also a handful. The crowd was also very shady..m not visiting this one again :( Wont recommend for couples or only girls

One of the floors is under renovation and I feel ripped off having spent my money on their cover charges. It was a pathetic environment there with a dull crowd and people returning on seeing that the venue has shrinked due to renovations. Wouldn't recommend going for a few months till they have a proper venue

Plush ambience, neon lights, outdoor smoking area forget these all. When you really have an ocassion and u want to celebrate at midnight just walk in drunk and hit the floor. Rocking DJs and perfect crowd will make ur nightlife memorable.

Provides a nice Electrifying Environment..... A place worth enjoying the weekend....The problem was with the bland taste of food and the not up to the task service.... If they work on these demerits than surely it would be one of the most promising place to party hard.

Duplay is a great club, nice ambience, nice music, nice food and best part they have good services right from entry to exit. I went with my team of internationals and it was amazing to spend time there till 4 am in morning and Dj was really nice. Thanks to Abhishek Sir for invitation. People should surly try Duplay on Saturday night. A nice place to enjoy drinks. <br/><br/>Thank you

This is one of the best discotheque but the food is not at all good and the waiters wont even care if you're asking them something. So just go for the disc :)<br/>

Visited as a guest for an Anniversary party. Not too impressive <br/><br/>Bar tenders are very slow. Can't understand properly your requirements due to loud music. Snacks service is really bad. Served cold snacks. Quite disappointed.

Jaipur isn't really much into the clubbing scene but Duplay takes it a notch up. Its a wonderful addition to the city & allows the party lovers to dance their hearts out.

Just attended Saturday Rush with friends.. Had a great experience as ambiance, DJ and Music.. except cops at exit gate of hotel. Curious to visit again. :)

Everything was just great here! Specially for those who really want to enjoy their weekends! My Saturday night in duplay was just awesome! security measures have been taken by the management, by keeping bouncers which i liked the most! Even after enjoying a lot and with a great experience i have rated them 4 out 5 just because of one incident happened last night. Me and my friends left duplay at 1:30 a.m and at the exit points we were welcomed by cops ! But with the god's grace my friend who was driving came out clean in the alcohol test! It was a sigh of relief for all of us! I think, management should do something about this! other than that everything was just perfect!

Yes this is another much hyped places in Jaipur. Yes the DJ is good lot of space to move your buts plus a double story disc is a nice concept one with a Bollywood flavor another with English tracks.

There are too many clubs in Jaipur for one to even consider this one. This place is vacant almost all the time and even if it's crowded for a change, they make their guests leave by playing shitty music. On the top of it, even the washroom is far off from the bar which makes it inconvenient & scary. You definitely can't go to the washroom alone! <br/>

Nice place to party with friends ambience is really awesome and staff around is really very cooperative and caring particularly the Manager Mr Shekhar who offers you the unforgettable hospitality.<br/>Must visit place in town.....

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! if you are thinking to spend your Saturday NIGHT here then trust me please change your mind. Cheap crowd, not so good music and arrogant staff.

Jaipur on a business trip and someone suggested Duplay. We friends reached the place around 10:30 and the entrance was empty, just with 2 bouncers. We entered the place after paying 1500/- as cover charges per couple, after they told us that the place is on but we can't take a peak before we pay. We took a risk.<br/><br/>The place was empty and there was no one to guide. We came out and someone came and took us to the floor beneath which had a bartender and a dj. The place was empty and we were the first to come. It looked like an abondant graveyard, even ghosts had left. Lights and music stayed after we came in.<br/><br/>The music was okay, but not innovative which showed the skills of dj. Bartender was good and suggested some cocktails which were good. Figure food was okay and couldn't take any good pictures due to the darkness. Only cocktails were the plus point. We waited there till 12 and there was no one. We left the place after having our drinks.<br/><br/>The place is good, but they need patrons for it. They should market it well or it would end up as any another small town discotheque. Staff is okay, but they need serious grooming to step up the level.<br/><br/>Overall not so good experience. Would try it again if possible, maybe on a Saturday to check what the staff said. Recommended only if you are done with your pink city heritage tour. Okay, but a long way to be a full fledge discotheque with better food.

Please change ur manager. He is very rude and has no sense of responsibilty. He is an arrogant man with pride without ny reasn.<br/>A real turn off to what could be a great pub in jaipur

Please don't waste your time going to this place. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Even if you pay they will show you disrespect. The manager is very unprofessional and the staff too. i ordered a virgin mojito and was given sprite. After telling the bartender the manager and staff quarrelled with me.

It is the most amazing place in jaipur.. I luv dis place... Great ambience, awsum food, enough space for dance floor, rocking music.. Happening crowd.. N the most special is its tyming.. Party start here at 11 p.m. till 3-4 a.m ....

Duplay an OK club with OK music OK food cheap crowd and last but not the least a rude and arrogant manager . I don't get why he is so full of attitude and he clearly has no sense of respect and manners towards guests so not acceptable for hospitality industry mate shame on u . They show that the club is a big thing at entry but inside its nothing totally cheap crowd and poor staff.

The manager is totally rude and unprofessional. Cannot go by his words. Promised me entry with an amount and changed the same within 20 minutes. Was travelling to Jaipur for work and wanted to visit the much "hyped" about place but well as they say all things talked about are never worth the efforts. Totally a no show for a rude staff and a pathetic hospitality. Wouldn't suggest the locals or anyone travelling to visit this place. Thank you. Not!

I was staying here in country inn in my last summer vacations. So what I basically saw in duplay was in weekdays, it's very boring, hardly there r ppl, not that good songs , but amazing food. But when it comes to weekend, it's very exciting, with loud music & drinks ..& u will find a lovely environment . So if u wanna visit here, visit in the weekends.

Amazing place to party..beware that no one comes before 11 and real party starts about midnight on saturdays.. they play good music with mix of english and bollywood post 1 .. the liquor range is just okay but the music and atmosphere compensates for it...<br/><br/>Went again on 20 may 2017.. the DJ was non existent.. the drinks menu was limited to Kingfisher in beer and kettleone in vodka.. had 2 veg snacks which could be ordered and 3 non veg.. the place is STRICTLY A NO GO now...

Well...this place was so boring yesterday...i mean on Wednesdays...there is no crowd...music was also low....<br/><br/>In nut shell...there is nothing called ladies nightout on wednesdays at this place.

I won't say it is THE BEST Night club in Jaipur. But yes in terms of music n ambience it is good. We enjoyed alot at the lower level (It has got 2 floors/levels). If we talk abt food n drinks.... Its not at all good. No innovative or new drinks, limited stock and food options in the menu are also very few. Rs.500 for a 30ml drink is really too much.<br/>Expensive, tasteless & very small quantity of food.<br/>Even though, A good place to go atleast once and dance with friends.

Location: Ground floor - Country Inn Shopping area. Parking is a big issue on weekends. Valet is not available.<br/>Music: Have spent many Saturday nights at Duplay lately. The lower deck plays commercial music and is usually jam packed.<br/><br/>The upper deck mostly plays house and trance music which is a rarity in Jaipur. Until midnight they play a lot of EDM and popular music and after about 12:30-1:00 they start with Trance and Progressive session. I have always found the music to be good. Hope they keep this system going for the upper deck.<br/><br/>Drinks and Food: I've only had a few starters here which have turned out to be decent. They usually have all kinds of liquer and the service is very quick - which is a plus. The bar area is quite long so it helps in getting what you want quickly however I have noticed them to be under-staffed at times for weekends.<br/><br/>Overall, must visit for Friday and Saturday nights specially if you are looking for some quality trance music.

Great food

I was staying at country inn for a weekend and had nothing to do in the city, so instead of walking out somewhere in the city I figured this to be a better idea. This place is a typical small town disc. Low light ambience which did not really impress me. Useless music with no creativity by the DJ. If you literally do not know any place in Jaipur to hangout you can come here and dance on the songs that literally sounded like shaadi vala DJ.<br/>This place does not have anything special talk about. Also, I am literally reducing the rating as and when I am writing the review.<br/>One thing to notice is that they have so many visitors on the weekend that they don't allow to enter again if you move out of the disc even when you have a stamp.

And Lo Behold...Just when I thought that Jaipur needs some party lessons from the cities of Mumbai and Kolkata, did I come across Duplay ! The party was on over here and there were 2 levels of it!! People packed to the core and grinding away to the delights of the skinny lil DJ.....A few tips for Duplay management...Do not allow people to dance bare foot on the dance floor...it looks ugly and they could get hurt real bad. The washroom inside the disc is just one for the lady and one for the gent...How do you expect the beer to hold ??? The cash dispensing idea is good- to have a one point source to swipe the credit card-but at the entrance your staff should inform us of this setup. Reaching the bar and realizing that we need to walk to the cashier which is outside the disc is a real long one and hoping across dancing people is tedious. Also there needs to be a refund for unused money. For everyone to understand, at the entrance you have an option of asking for the amount worth of drink credit. You say 3000 and they swipe your credit card and give you another magnetic card with 3000 credit, however if you use 2000 credit there is no way of getting back the 1000 credit...so just be careful...have a look at the menu card...choose ur drinks and order. For this reason i guess people would end up consuming less.. I did ! I liked the place...good music.....good drinks but a lil too serious management! - for that 3.5
