Review Chawla's The Family Restaurant - Jaipur

Chawlas family restaurant is in lane 4 of Raja park. It offers vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. The dishes both veg and non veg are delicious. Sweets are good. The restaurant is neat and clean staff is well behaved and services are nice. Transportation is easily available to and from here. Parking is insufficient.

Amazing hospitality by the staff. Lip smacking taste. Mr Bishnu Barman staff is just outstanding when it comes service.

Used to be good 5-6 years back. The taste and quality keeps on fluctuating now. I still find Afghani Chicken and Chicken Labaabdar the best.

Old is gold and so Is chawlas! Butter chicken the best thing Icould ever have. Plus Roghan Josh is a fabulous dish available here. They have a crazy continued taste of chutney pyaaj since forever. Chawla's definitely deserves a 5 star!!

This shop is originated from chawla sweets on moti doongri road near sagnganeri gate. The most delicious sweet is akhrot ki mithai. The taste is same old what it used to be in nineteen sixties.... delicious.

This place is always busy with people. Its location is really good. The food is average and can improve alot. The food I tried was not very good but can work if you’re hungry.

I think this place is not rightly rated here cz since the time I have been eating raj Kachori here, from that till date- none have been able to beat it. And trust you me, one raj Kachori is enough for you to get knocked out for atleast 1 hour.<br/>Delicious, yummy and hygienic food.

This place is my first love... the food here is so delicious....my all time order and favourite is afghani chicken, butter chicken and garlic naan. For veg i always go for matar mushroom. I have been taking out from here for more than 7-8 years and the taste has only gone better than its pervious best.... this place is heaven for foodies...its cost effective and tastes the best... Give a try for chicken chowmein.<br/>Chicken was fresh and tasty.<br/>And it's worth of money<br/>Service is also not bad ok with the rate.<br/>I only feel the drawback that they don't have clean washroom and handwash area it's too dirty.<br/>They only maintained the sitting area not the others..<br/>For me it matters.<br/>For food it's 4/5<br/>For others 3/5<br/>

Chawla's outlet is one of the oldest out here in Jaipur like every people use it as a address code to get their location.<br/>As a tourist I went to this place to have their famous 'Raj Kachori' chaat and other items too. I had quite expectations from this place but the raj kachori chaat turned out quite dull and full of dahi without any other ingredients.<br/>It costed a lot as seeing the quantity. No doubt the services are quick but more focus should be given on the food side. They should provide food with affordable prices and with proper quantity.<br/>I had dinner once which was good but not at the level of my expectations.<br/>As per the name of the restaurant, they should maintain the aura and should improve their services. Food's very okay. Nothing special to mention. Came here with a friend, who wanted to eat decent Chicken. Portions are big. Decent Sitting space upstairs. Toilet is dirty.

I like the taste of the food but hygiene is at compromise. I have been there 4 times and after every meal i had i got gastroenteritis. It uses a poor quality utensils and all glasses and even water bottle was really dirty. Real word of caution for this place.

Went for lunch with kids after so much recommendations. And must say just got the best taste till date . Just so awesome food. All says they are specialist in non veg but veg cuisines are also best. The cream and butter was overpowering the taste of chicken. Heard about this place so much thats why gave it a try. The food was delicious but the place was not good. The staff was bit rude and the place was smelling a little bit. We ordered kdhai paneer, dal tadka, tawa roti and roomali roti. No doubt the food was finger licking but they need to improve the place.

The brand name of the restaurant was heavy, so we decided to give it a try..Parking was ok along the road, with the staff of the restaurant around, so one can be at peace about the vehicle.The place is shady, old, very dull ambience, with not so clean toilets..But surprisingly with an AC dinning hall..So what we were expecting was an inexpensive place ...HOLA, hola the prices were very competitive..The food was normal, nothing great about it..But yes at such prices, there is not much that we could have asked for..Waiters were responsive.. Okay, so as compared to the chawala's in Chandigarh and Mohali i was really dissatisfied with the food here. I was disappointed about everything, food quality, taste, service everything. I went there twice, once for chicken, which was undercooked and the gravy was tasteless. While the other time I went for dal, which was poured with so much salt and nothing else.

Bad food. Bad service. A peculiar smell can be noticed all over the place including the food. Went there by mistake. Thought it is chawlas. Chawlas in mansarovar serves good food.

I had ordered food from Chawlas2 and it reached really fast. It hardly took them 20 minutes. Mix vegetable and Paneer Handi lacked the spice but they were fine. The naans were rubbery and improperly uncooked. The upper layers of the naan were burnt and it remained uncooked from within.

No, the food isn't great. Apart from the Fish Tikka, the Fish Amritsari and pudina chicken , I didn't like any of the starters or the main courses here. <br/><br/>It is located near the Kebab and Curries and many other restaurants. They have an Air Conditioned space for seating families. Although, the majority of customers order from their cars. Home delivery is quick and efficient, they charge 40-50 bucks extra to deliver to locations which are more than 3 km from the restaurant. <br/><br/>Service is quick and it is a reasonably priced restaurant. Quality wise not so great.

Ordered Afghani and Peshawari tikka . The meat was really soft and delicious but the pieces were really small. Yesterday ordered tandoori chic which was not chicken but you can say it chooza. Taste was like all bland not at all spice in it. Then leta come to tawa chicken which was like over spiced with chillies and laal maas was good. If i compare it with chawla in delhi this is the most pathetic food i have eaten in chawla2. Hope management will take care of this in future. And word on their taste and quality as well.

This place is famous for their non vegetarian food. My personal favourite is chicken afgani, as they prepare it in a delicious way. But when it comes to the vegetarian food, it's not that good. But the non vegetarian food is bang on.

Last week I visited place and ask for a suggestion for a good chicken curry. They told me everything available in the menu to put ball again in my court. I ordered 1 full Tawa chicken as I had a good experience of tawa chicken from some other place. The quantity was good with too much of curry and smell was also good. The taste was not that great and may be next time I will try a different curry. I just get it packed this time so will visit the place next time to try some more items as it seems worth trying again after my first experience.
