The Taj SMS stands out for the comfort and warmth of service. I felt the children were valued and their needs considered from check-in to check-out. Also the attention to detail in the small things - something simple like using real glass refillable bottles for RO water to help the environment brought a smile to the whole eco-friendly family's faces.The room was comfortable given winter temperatures. Breakfast buffet was nice and kid-friendly. Service there and all over the property was much appreciated. Access to Rambagh Palace dining added another extra though if we'd stayed longer would have loved to try the in room menu at SMS itself. Nice selections. And yes I keep saying it but also kid friendly.
Easy to locate the hotel, it is just adjacent to Taj Rambagh. The hotel is very nice, rooms are very good with all the necessary ameneties available. They have a nice lawn where peacocks roam free. The pool size is a bit small though. Staff is very nice and friendly, always at your service. Breakfast service is good. Try chef's special always and you won't regret it.

We stayed at Taj SMS for 3 nights. If I have to use one word to describe, that would be IMPECCABLE.
Kudos to the friendly staff who made us feel at home. They provided useful guidance on local attractions and shopping.
Check in and check out were a breeze. Breakfast buffet was excellent with good variety. The restaurant also served authentic Rajasthani dishes.
Kids were excited about the activities available at the hotel. The staff offered Kite flying, Majic show and cooking demonstrations for kids.
I should not forget mentioning about the beautiful gardens of Rambagh palace and the amazing peacocks dancing in these gardens. It's a visual treat.
I would strongly suggest this hotel to any one visiting Jaipur.

Rooms are as good as published, delicious food, friend team and proactive efforts to maximize our experience has touched our hearts. Hotel is convinently connected with Rambagh Palace, a tip if you want to use restaurants In Rambagh palace dont forget to pack shoes else you would be denied to dine there. Overall we are very happy with SMS hotel services.
We have just come back from a 2-day stay at SMS TAJ JAIPUR and couldnt stop myself from writing this... it has been a wonderful experience - starting from the time of booking till we left the venue after our stay... the staffw as very welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. i was travelling with family... all senior citizens and so needed more attention than usual... the staff at hotel catered to all our needs with a smiling face.
The place may be smaller compared to other Taj properties but all basic amenities as well as Taj Standards were maintained. And a special mention for food, unlike the food at most big hotels, the food was great... it was a pleasant surprise.
The only thing that wasa discomfort were the mattresses... made the slightest movement for elderly people difficult... leave along getting in and out of bed... if thats taken care of, the hotel will get excellent rating insteat of very good. till next time then...

Lovely stay in the heart of Jaipur. Rooms were clean and spacious. The best part is that you can get access to the Rambagh Palace through the internal gate. A walk in the gardens with the sight of beautiful nature and peacocks will be just amazing. As usual Taj hotels rock in their service. Will definitely stay again when I travel to Jaipur.
The best property i have ever stayed in. This is located within lawns of Rambagh palace. The best thing about the property is you get to enjoy the lawns of Rambagh as complimentary. The food at inhouse restaurant is nice - though they should introduce more varieties in their buffet spread. Staff is very generous and courteous.
Spent 5 nights at SMS Hotel. Good location if you are touring the Pink City sights. Comfortable rooms, good dining at SMS and adjoining Rambaugh Palace. Pool and spa area was attractive and clean. Service excellent. 1/4 the price of the Rambaugh with almost the same amenities.
A nice place to stay in Jaipur.Staff is really very cooperative and polite. Room are very comfortable . We got our room upgraded to pool view room and the view is superb.One more thing there are so many peacocks roaming g around every where I .Hotel and we saw peckok dance for a very long time. Amber restorent is very cosy and the food is great.
One of the most beautiful Taj Gateway hotels with easy access to the Rambagh property. Superbly green with a lovely ambience, though swimming pool is small in size, the rooms are pretty spacious. Overall a great stay.
