Review Namaste Rajasthan Restaurent - Jaipur

If you are with your children then the hotel staff will play with your kids and want you to relax and have food. This is one of the best things. The food was not too good not too bad but the hotel staff was really very nice.

Ambience is amazing and while we waited for food to come to our table... there were beautiful folk singers and dancers which kept us entertained and we almost forgot about our order. You guys will definitely enjoy it here. Folk dancers will engage you and will offer you to dance and click pictures with them. Manager is so sweet and she greets with such a pretty smile. And last but not the least, the one thing which we actually went to this place for ..."The food" is so 😋 tasty and must have for anyone who is looking for good food.

I am not gonna lie it's overpriced. The food is not particularly tasty. But the food portion is quite big (for me as a girl). Also it has live performance, so I am ok with staying there

Must visit if you want to enjoy and eat authentic rajasthani food! All the dishes we ordered were very tasty!

The food is good and the service too, the prices are a bit high in comparison to other local restaurants. While we ate there, there was local people too, so that is a good sign

Food, ambience- all were good, but wait time was too long. Since the wait time is long, they entertain you with their folk song and dance.

Namaste Rajasthan Restaurant is a must-visit Rajasthani restaurant that offers a unique cultural experience along with delicious food. The restaurant is designed like a traditional Rajasthani village, complete with mud huts, live music, and local artisans showcasing their crafts. The menu is extensive and features a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including mouth-watering dishes like daal baati churma, ker sangri, and mutton curry. The food is cooked to perfection and served in authentic Rajasthani thalis. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and hospitable. If you're looking for an immersive cultural and culinary experience in Jaipur, Namaste Rajasthan Restaurant is the place to be.

I don't know kw how people can eat this food, so many 5 star rating for a restaurant who's food is horrible and service so slow. I can understand foreigners giving it a 5 star coz they never had Indian food. The only thing working for this place is proximity to jal mahal sightseeing point. If you really have eaten out a lot then please avoid this place. Poor service as foreigners are attended 1st and the what do I say about the food.

We ordered their assorted non veg kebab platter and paneer tandoori. Food is quite bad. Both quality and taste is unsatisfactory.

Staffs are very good and food too
Very expensive food with poor quality and relatively small portion sizes. The atmosphere is good but overall experience was not at all satisfactory.

Just another tourist trap restaurant. Brought here by tourist guide/driver.

I ordered a dal makhani and boiled rice. The food and quantity in itself were not too bad however I felt the price seemed unjustified.

Incredibly long waiting times for service. Perhaps they were understaffed? I'm not sure but they obviously had the money to pay for a midget to stand at the front entrance and greet people.

So the place is packed with tourists which should give you an indication that it is overpriced ( as it caters to foreigners) and the food quality is bad.We ended up here as we were on our way to Amer fort and our cab driver suggested it (note to self : never depend on others for food advice ) .The place is air-conditioned with upper and lower seating areas. We ordered the veg and non veg thali as it was our first day in Jaipur. The food was bland , lacked seasoning and all the curries looked and tasted the same .The thali had dal and 2 types of sabzi all for 500 ( shocking !) Especially since we have tasted thalis which are much cheaper and taste way better. The Lal Maas was decent but there was no Maas ( bones is all we got, with a red curry ).The restaurant is a complete disappointment and I hope they realize that they are overcharging the customers while serving tasteless food and this is the food experience people would carry back from Jaipur.I would rate the places as follows :
Ambience :2.5/5
Service :3/5
Food :1.5/5
Value for money : 1/5

Miserable!

Had to go to this place with no choice but just to fill our stomaches as we were travelling.
Poor maintenance and management. We ordered for a veg biryani. The biryani was filled with masala and tasted awful. Worthless food and overpriced as well. We ended up paying 230 (with taxes) for one veg biryani!

Do not even step here by mistake!

Decent place for lunch or Dinner .
Food was great and Service was Excellent meet with Mr Balwant was was very helpful and corpotativ for a new person for that area .
I tried that place while I was visiting Amer ford and Jal mahel.
It was very good experience ..
Just little expensive Side but it was worth
Thanks

This place unnecessary expensive and the taste is pathetic. The food is not upto the mark compared to the cost. We ordered panner, roti, dal tadka and jeera rice. The jeera rice was too oily. The cost for two people was rs. 950. I could have ate twice within this price!! Horrible experience!

All curry in Rajasthani thali was prepared in Punjabi gravy, roti was tandoori roti in thali, that too without Ghree or butter. It's funny to call the place good for Rajasthani thali. Pathetic taste.
Dissatisfied with the food quality. Service was the worst. Regardless of the fact that they gave us a 20% discount, they really really need to improve.
Shubham Gaikwad
Very poor service, clear lack of hospitality, tastless food, won't recommend at all. If there was a 0 star experience would have have definitely submitted that.
Had a chance to visit this place last month, when I was on my family trip to Jaipur.

We had veg biryani, namkeen lassi and veg special thali.

Food served was good and service was also quite pleasant.

I would recommend this place to all the people who are visiting Jaipur.

Visited this place as our tour driver recommended it.
They have 2 floors one in the basement and another n the first floor.

The staff is busy dealing with foreign customers. They did not bother to give us the menu or water even after asking.

Finally ordered for a cold coffee, non-vegetarian kebab platter and mutton biryani. It took them over 45mins to serve us the food even after several reminders. Also after so much time, they realised that they could not make cold coffee.

Kebab platter was hard to chew and dry. Chicken pieces had no flavour and was not fresh. I still don't understand what took them 45mins if they were not cooking it fresh! The platter was a disaster as we left most of it.

Their mutton biryani was just plain rice mixed with some flavourless vegetable curry with few chunks of mutton in it.

It seems all the tours guides get commission from this place. Also their prices are extremely high as compared to the quality of the food they serve. I wish I would have read the reviews here before visiting this place.

Kindly AVOID this place!

For more updates join me on Instagram @love_yourself_love_life

.

Our local tour guide took us here for lunch. Most of the tour guides take tourists specially foreign tourists to this place. The ambience is average. It's over hyped and staff is busy luring only foreign tourists

What we ordered
Dal baati : does not have authentic taste but worth ordering once
Veg biryani : we were served raita (yogurt) only after asking for the same and after we were halfway done eating.

I suggest giving a miss to this place and trying at local joints.

This is one of the most lousy joints in Jaipur. Let's start from parking, it's on road in front. Most rather all of the guests are tourists. There hired vehicles occupy the available place. Now quality, it's below average. The oil or whatever ingradients they use give awful smell to food. In high winter also the curd they searve/d is deeply sour or highly tarty. On enquiry waiter explained that they get curd from outside and it's like that only. Rather it has to be deep sour. Mineral water bottle seemed refilled, in that the cap came out together with base ring. The bottle was flexible and pouring the water was impossible task without spilling it. The prices are very very high.a subji could cost above Rs.350/-. It's clearly visible that only the hired car drivers bring the customers to them in cascading number, may be for cuts. It's a joint to be deliberately missed by serious guests.

We came here for lunch while going to Amer. Our driver took us here. It was visible that foreigners were treated differently. Ambience was below average.
Bad food
Overpriced
Bad service

So not recommended.

so much inequality.....foreigners are treated way better than local visitors.......plus quality of food was below average and over priced। I would not recommend this place to anyone
Taste:-1/5
Experience:-1/5

This is a small restaurant near jal mahal which your driver will definitely take you. It has nothing to do with gold food, just drivers getting commissions. Firstly it is difficult to get seat here as there are lot of foreigners already sitting and are given preference over indian. But when you do get to sit down, again the waiters are roaming around foreigners table just to get more tips.

We let that slide as we were hungry, ordered the simplest Indian dish of Dal makhani and kadai Paneer. The food came in less than 10 minutes and the taste was horrible. We were not served spoons, tissues or anything, just plates and dishes.
Another gem of a nugget was there is no free water here and you have to pay for it. Thankfully we already had a bisleri bottle with us. While we were asking for spoons, 4 waiters were busy preparing Bill for a foreigners table.I can go on and on but they don't deserve a restaurant in that prime location.
The item prices are more than what normally a restaurant would charge you.

Ambiance : 3/5
Food :0/5
Service :1/5
Price point : 1/5

Verdict : you are better off throwing your money down the drain than eat here.
