Review Tansukh Restaurant - Jaipur

Ankit Gupta
The place has authentic north Indian food. Food quality is great, tastes great. Options of vegetarian are ample. One can choose quick bited or full birth Indian meal. Tried malai kofta, mushroom masala, pineapple raista and missi roti. All items were made well. There is lift available to go to 2nd floor. Service is quick and staff is pretty helpful.

Best dining place for family and friends.. Parking available at all branches... Food quality is best... Service is very good... Little over priced... Enjoyed with discount coupon a lot.. Good to here for dinner... Overall 9/10

Decent menu, appropriate taste and justified prices. Easy to dine in anytime. Approach is good on the tonk road, however parking ramps are a bit tough to manage.

We ordered tansukh special sizzler and it was very tasty! Perfect blend of tastes and the portion was very good that it serves 4. Loved it! Then we ordered chole tikki, garlic bread. Chole tikki i found taste of garam masala is high Garlic bread was ok 👍

One of the better places for having a quick bite. Most suitable for families. Their quality and service is amazing. Best sellers - Pav bhaji Chole bhature Sizzler Thalis Dosa

I like the food, service was also good. Entry and exit is from the back of building which is not giving great ambience else all ok.

Fine Dining Restaurant Near Me Jaipur: They have good sweets range at ground floor and restaurant with good interior at first floor. They have party hall also at second floor. For good sweets with fine rates, I have ordered raj kachori. Which was awesome taste with filling fruits. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance available here.

It's a cool place to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with your friends and family. You can also plan a small get-together here for occasions like kids birthday, anniversary or a colleague's achievement etc. You would also have option to order Thalis for your team and may be for travel purpose. Good authentic food is ready for you always.

I have been visiting this place since literally years. A good family restaurant with decent ambience, this place provides good Indian food. A definitely go-to place for Indian cuisine. This time I tried their continental dishes-

Paneer Shashlik Sizzler (2.5/5)-
I used to love the sizzler here, and was one of the best! But now, it's really nothing like before. Not satisfied. They need to work upon the sauces and the quantity. The sizzler was undercooked. No smoke, no smoky taste. Seemed like the chef was in some hurry.

Pink Sauce Pasta (4/5):
This saved the day. Very creamy, tasty, good quantity, and good amount of veggies. I loved it!

Tansukh is a decent family restaurant with good quality of food. The staff is a little slow but the food is good. The menu is a little over priced.

The tansukh special sizzler is the best thing to try there for sure.

I think best place for family get together in all over Jaipur with budget friendly Naan size was literally large I thought that was medium but that was large and I prefer you for that you should order two piece of naan for one person other wise that will go waste and one more thing that I love about tansukh is there staff. staff was literally good they were friendly and they will recommend them self for you before ordering and their advice will really helpful for you. .
The_Foodie_Flavours
This is the best fine dining place for a family outing. They have good variety of dishes with them. They also have a very trained staff.

Staff are totally uncourtieous and unprofessional as if restaurant donot have cutlery they donot serve properly. Food quality is pathetic. Think before you go to waste your hard earned money
Ritika Mathur
Food is great, have already almost everything off its menu. A good family restaurant to the rescue, plus recently they have renovated the interiors, really liked the ambience.
Food favourites- Vegetable sizzler, dosa, and north indian cuisine!
Ananya Dahanwal
It's a nice and modest place just like you'd expect a normal restaurant to be in jaipur ......the food is also nice but extraordinary though some of their dishes like their fried rice really had an Indian twist to it and that is something I really liked about the place and all the time I've been there I see a lot of people come there to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries so I'd suggest this place to someone who wants a nice party without getting their pockets empty (since the prices are quite reasonable ) Also the service there is quite slow so if you're running short of time or impatient not a good place to visit then.

Nice place for a family cuisine...sizzlers are a must here and service is also very suitable for family purposes.
Though it is not a place suitable for friends or casual meetup

Writing a zomato review after a long time.
So I have been to this place twice, but was disappointed both times. I think it is one of those restaurants which charges more for it's "clean family restaurant" image more than for its food. These guys very well know this and thus tend to abuse the same. For instance, the best selling items (Paneer main course, malai kofta etc ...) which most people visiting the restaurant order are a joke when it comes to taste and quantity/price.
These items are just tasteless and bland. The only difference is the color of the gravy.
I think the management needs to take a fresh look on its menu and take into consideration feedback from the patrons from time to time. Just sticking to the "Clean family restaurant" won't probably help much with tough competition out there.
Now coming to the quantity/price. I think it is justified to charge a high amount in cases where it makes sense. A recipe which might take a lot of preparation might be one of the cases, but when you are sending out the most basic dishes - that too tasteless as stated in the above para - it infuriates the customer to see the amount these guys serve.
TL/DR : Bland dishes, high price / less quantity and just a overall apathy for feedback.
Bhavini Saraswat
The food is good but I'd like to talk of the services here..
1. The service is uber slow.
2. Twice they bought us the wrong order which took like an hour to get rectified.
3. Not a single attendant was there to attend the crowd when needed..
Rishi Sharma
Discovered that the taste has downgraded to a significant level. Also, the group seems to have more interest in getting as much money out of the customers' pocket as it can by providing a simple reverse osmosised water in a fancy bottle and label it with 110 INR MRP. The only thing I liked is their Tan-Sukh Special #Sizzler and Hot n Sour Soup. It would need more convincing for me to pay another visit to any #Tan-Sukh restaurant in future.

This place is a must for the people living nearby! The place has the most plesant ambience along with the courteous staff , who try to deliver you the food as soon as possible.
We ate north indian food and it was the best experience. The place has a great collection and preparation of sweets and confectioneries. First floor serves various cuisines including thaalis, chat, sandwiches, and south Indian.

There is self service and you will have to present a token at the respective counter. Once your food is ready, you may take the food tray to your respective place. I ordered Raj kachori and lassi. Both were pretty good and have no complaints. Raj kachori was freshly prepared and was very filling. Lassi was petty thick and had adequate amount of sweetness in it.

Would highly recommend the place for some quick snack or maybe, it's full and/or mini thaalis as well.

A good restraunt with an awesome food. This combination is very difficult to find. But tansukh is of this kind. What a food...Wow, even after 2 days I can feel the taste of food on my taste buds.
We ordered there :
Sweet corn soup : 4/5( bit sweet but good)
Panner tikka : 4.5/5 ( recommended )
Paneer lawabdar : 4/5
Nargisi kofta : 4/5 ( bit on a sweet side but good)
Dal makhani : 5/5 ( very very highly recommended)

The whole preparation was good but *dal makhani* ( awesome) was like icing on the cake.
ALL IN ALL A WORTHY PLACE. Guys you should try out this place if you haven't yet.....
A pure veg eatery but an A Grade one at that.

Their Rajasthani Thali - Rs 350 - is simply out of the world. The Dal Baati and Churma - heavily ghee laden - in that by itself is sufficient to fill a large tummy. The other offerings - bowls of veggies, Yellow dal, beans, a Butter Roti, a Missi Roti, White rice and Chhaas - necessitate a Herculean appetite to finish.

We also called for a Veg Sichuan Rice and Veg Manchurian, which were both great in taste and of large quantities too.

But the cherry on the top was their Aam Panna. Served in a large glass, chilling and soothing, slightly sweet, slightly sour, and full of kairi delight. Way to go.

Food was salt less, and naan was too thick and i had ordered butter naan in which i had to find butter.

Overall food was delicious and tasty. Everything was upto the mark.
Fresh garden green mojito - just same as virgin mojito.
Dal makhani- best dal makhani I ever had. Very good.
Handi paneer- it was similar to Shahi paneer. Was good
Tan-sukh special sundae- ice cream was in three flavours (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla) and quantity was great for 2-3 people.
Service- it is quick and fine.
Would like to visit again. 😊
⭐⭐⭐⭐

This restaurant is just perfect and the food is absolutely mouth watering. The best part was the Malai Kofta as the Potato Dumplings were cooked in a dry fruit curry and served with cream. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it... The best Malai Kofta I ever had. We also had Rajasthani Thali, Butter Naan and Zeera Rice. Daal Baati was simple and had great flavor and so was the Churma. Had been to other Tansukh Restaurant too in Jaipur but this restaurant serves the most delicious food. Great service and a perfect place for families...

For rich delicacies this is suited to every occasion and will also suit your pocket. This is a place which can easily be comparable to a place in Delhi or Mumbai or any metro city in terms of luxury and serves food which can be termed as authentic North Indian food.

One special mention is for the quality of paneer served in restaurant. I have had on many occasions acknowledged the staff of using the best quality paneer. Thus you can order any paneer dish and the quality will mesmerise the taste.

Another special mention is of Tandoori Roti (without butter) and Missi Roti.

We also had Kuldi which didn't tasted to the expectation which we had after delicious lunch.

Happy Fooding!

Quite a good one to enjoy family dinner. Elite feel with quick service. Ordered tan sukh special thali and can't complain about anything in that. Actually quite overloaded for a single person to finish. Ambiance is also nice.

Have been to all the 4 tansukh restaurents, but this one is flawless, the oldest and the best for sure. They just know how to prepare the best dishes and the consistency is just perfect. There is no other place which is as amazing as this. They release a discount coupon booklet at the start of every year with a validity of 12 months. We make sure we purchase it every time and it gets finished before time always. This is just the best place for anything from chaat to beverages to snacks to Indian.

I visited this place for a friend's birthday party. We wanted to have proper Indian food and thus ended up going to Tan Sukh. We found it a perfect family diner. This place looks promising the moment you enter and they won't disappoint. The manager as well as the staff was cooperative. The taste of the food was again a positive point. I saw many families ordered sizzler and got to know that they are kind of specialist in sizzlers. I would like to taste that in future. We had butter naan, dal tadka, achaari paneer, jeera rice, pineapple raita and vanilla ice cream with gulabjamun. Visiting soon ❤

Perfect family restaurant. Its my family's favourite place. We also celebrated this rakshabandhan there. Tan sukh is play safe place for my family as they say everything here is just perfect. You can't get anything wrong here. Humble staff. Delicious food. Calm place. Even I went there with a friend and ordered a sizzler I cant remember its name, but it was paneer cutlet, red gravy and baked vegetable in it. And this sizzler was stunning! Do try it.

Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 3.5/5
Value for money: 3.5/5

We had dum aloo, butter paneer , naan and jeera pulav, pineapple raita and as the taste defined "tan-sukh" as well as the service was nice.
Ambience is not good as there is not proper ventilation.
You can enjoy your food here with your family at dine in.

I go there frequently with my family .
Tan sukh is a nice restaurant with a good variety of food... The one go salad is awesome . Vegetables and breads are like other ordinary restaurants.
Sizzlers and tandoori burgers are must haves.
Ice tea exactly tastes like NESTEA ICED TEA 😥😥😥
and there is one more thing I would suggest not to have ... Pizzas!!! The major turn on for me is the Double scoop special sundae ... Yeah!!!
The CAKES are also fabulous !! 😀😀

This is the casual dining arm of Kanha, just above Kanha sweets and its restaurant. This addresses almost all problems that Kanha restaurant has in terms of ambience and service and so is a nice place to go. Food is good and justifies the cost.

I've been there 2-3 times with my friends only. Tan-Sukh is a well known restaurant of Kanha. You can dine here, they have good quality food but somehow their prices are little high compare to other restaurants in the market.

Taste is ok ok as per the brand name and quality they talk about.

Food :: 7/10
Ambiance :: 8/10
Service :: 7/10
Cleanliness :: 9/10
Value for Money :: 7/10

You can go there and enjoy with friends and if you want to go and enjoy with your family then I would suggest there are lot of places to go.
Take wise decision.

Its sizzlers are the best. The sizzlers menu is my favourite and the indian food is delicious. A good starter would complete this place's meal for me.

For me Tan Sukh is nice place to enjoy a happy family dinner time, as I have been here many times especially for dinner. Food is great and ambience is nice. The service is also good and quick. A lot of family crowd comes in here for dinner. I specially like Sizzlers here are worth ordering. I like Sizzlers here better than at Four Seasons- Jaipur. If you are a pure vegetarian you shall surely enjoy food here.

So I shall rate as
Ambience- 8.5/10

Food- 8.5/10

Service- 8/10

Pocketwise- A little over budget friendly

Very bad food. Irresponsible service. Late delivery. Pathetic food. Never order from this unreasonably expensive place. Wastage of money and time.

Spotted this restaurant during my trip to Jaipur. The hotel where I was staying told me that if you want to taste vegetarian food you must visit KANHA MULTI CUISINE RESTAIRANT. So came here with three more members and i ordered malai kofta and naan and other members ordered veg biryani. Malai kofta was good above average in taste. But veg biryani was tasteless. When I was having it was tasting like I am eating plain rice.Coming to space it is located in the third floor and have a seating capacity of nearly 50 members. And second floor is also there but it is not pure restaurant as they are only offering snacks and thali in that floor. And cleanliness is at its best.So coming to the total experience it was good. They can improve the taste and their restaurant will rock.

your prices are much more than your taste, kanji is better than tan sukh
I Wil never wanna see u ...again
and suggest not to go there buddies

Talking about Tansukh at C-scheme. The staff is really untrained and does not even understand the basic instructions given in english. They r not able to explain about the dishes.
The staff has no idea of service as they forgot to serve the sizzler despite telling the waiter 2-3 times.
Worst, they are crooks. I had made payment by sodexho meal pass (arnd 2600) and cash. Very surprisingly, the manager went inside and removed 250 worth sodexho. Appalled at such crookery.

A disaster and embarrassment in front of guests. ZERO satisfaction.

Located above Kanha at various places in Jaipur.
The Ambience is quite good with polite and trained staff.
It's known for it's Indian cuisine basically but we were not in a mood of having Indian.
We orderd Pizza , Pasta Arrabbitta and Paneer Tikka.
Paneer tikka was amazing rest two were ok.
Have eaten indian dishes at its Malviya nagar branch. They were fantastic though will try here too in coming days.
A fine dine restaurant from Kanha. Good food nothing very special about it. Decent ambiance. Good place for a family dinner or get together.
Shrauteya Dixit
Tan-Sukh, sister restaurant branch of kanha. Located in various parts of jaipur is certainly one of the best places to go for lunch and dinner. It is a family restaurant with authentic indian curry dishes along with one of the best continental food in town.

Location & Parking:
Located right next to the golpalpura flyover, very easy to locate. Since kanha is a famous chain in the city, it is mostly known to people.

Adequate parking space with security guards always on their toes to find you a spot. Mostly you'll have to leave your car keys behind as cars are parked one after another.

Ambience:
Tan-Sukh can be accessed using lift or stairs inside kanha. This restaurant is on the 3rd floor f the building.
Nothing catchy regarding the ambience, decent colors with comfortable chairs. The tables are well set up and adequately spaced.
The view outside is of the city. They have their curtains down during the day.

Staff & Service:
Well trained staff, decked up with an enthusiastic smile, they serve you well. Was greeted and guided towards my table on entering the place.
The service is quick and responsive. I visited during the lunch time when it was deserted. They served us our order within 10mins.

Menu:
The menu is rich with Indian Curries and Continental. Mostly there are 30+ vegetables you can choose from if you an indian veg lover. Name the dish and they certainly have it covered. The have continental food along with various rajasthani dishes. very few dishes are offered in continental section.

Special Mention About Thali & Sizzlers:
There are 2-3 choices of thali offered, rajasthani thali, indian thali and one more.
You should try thali as it is one of their speciality.
There are two types of sizzlers offered, Tan Sukh Sizzler and Veg Sizzler, It is one of the most well prepared sizzler I have ever tasted. Tan Sukh Sizzler is a combination of cottage cheese in red gravy along with fried rice, baked vegetable and potato patty.
RECOMMENDED!

My Order:
Tomato Soup
Tan-Sukh Sizzler
Baked Vegetable
Tan Sukh Special Sundae
Tomato soup tasted very delicious, there are very few restaurants in the city which actually know the perfect blend in tomato soup. Crispy bread along with it

Tan Sukh Special sizzler is exhilarating. The perfect preparation of rice, cottage cheese with red sauce and small quantity of baked veg is a great combination. The most delicious part of the sizzler is the rice and cottage cheese with red sauce. A MUST TRY!

Baked Veg, one of the dishes offered in continental section is perfectly layered with cheese. The white sauce adequately sweet and prepared with various vegetables like carrot, peas. All in all the vegetable is certainly one of their best preparation. AGAIN A MUST TRY!

In desert Tan Sukh Special Sunday is very intriguing. It is treat to your eyes as well as your tummy. Amazing combination of ice creams with chocolate sauce and fruits. Check out the photos.

The quantity offered is more than enough for 2 people.

Pocket Pinch:
The restaurant is expensive, very few dishes cost under 210. Cutting out the cost part, you will not be pulled back by the fact that you are paying for tasteless food. Each penny spent is worth the taste. If you're here, don't bother about the cost and love the dishes.

Overall Experience:
It is one of the best restaurant in Jaipur which offers great taste and food experience. Family dinners are most common here. One should keep in mind the opening and closing time. Do give this place a visit if you're a indian(veg) and continental lover. Sizzler and Thali are a must.

Cheers!

For a foodie like me Rajasthan is a paradise. Also I have always loved Rajasthani food even as a kid.

So when I demanded that I wanted to Gatte ki Sabzi, choorma, dal and baati on the very day that we landed, my father was a little lost. Our driver subjected this place as it was close to our hotel and quite famous for its authentic Rajasthani food.

Now the first thing that you need to know is that the name Tan-Sukh may be missed if you don't look at he outlet carefully. That's because they have a sweet shop cum open dining fast food area on the ground floor called 'Kanha'. On the first floor Tan-Sukh is situated which is fine dining area.

It's a multi cuisine restaurant so you are spoilt for choices. But we stuck to the Rajathani thali and it was an absolute treat. The food is authentic. They ask for you preference of the ' spice meter' if I may call it so. The place is bustling with local families out for lunch.

The staff is good. Not expensive at all considering the quantity and quality of the food. They can work on their lassi and chaanch preparations but otherwise the food is simply amazing.

This time visited this tan sukh at my cousins birthday. Good experience.
Ambiance is family oriented and is good for family dinner or casual dinners...
Our Order: cream of tomato, paneer tikka, tan sukh special thali, executive thali, chowmein and veg. manchurian, masala dosa, pao bhaji, pizza.
Soup was good in taste, paneer tikka was also nice, chowmein and manchurian were yum.. one of the best i suppose (it was indo chinese style), pao bhaji and masala dosa came from kanha which were again nice, pizza was ok ok, both thali were very heavy... special thali had one soup, lachcha paratha, missi roti, raita and one sabji extra from executive thali. coming to taste again.. missi roti was nice, lachcha paratha and naan was soft and tasty, among the veggies paneer was fine, dal makhani very bland for my taste, mix veg was really good and there was one more veggy which i dont know what was its name but it was too sweet..not good.
In sweets executive thali had rasgulla and in special thali it was ras malai which was yum.
Overalll the food was good. service was also good. nice experience.
Must vist for family outings.
Cost wise also its not expensive and we also got a 10% discount on HDFC card.

In indian food you can try anything while in breads there naan is must try. If you are too confuse to order go for there special as you will not be disappointed.

It was not planned to have lunch over here, just a co-incidence. Went for Shopping in Big Bazar and thought to try Tan-sukh as I have liked Kanha food very much.

Good Ambiance, Almost all restaurant was empty, might be due to weekday. Only 02 tables were sitting apart from me.

Captain approached me for taking order. I have asked for the suggestion. They have suggested me Tan-sukh special Sizzler and Nargisi Kofta. I have ordered that with Butter naan as we were only 03 persons. Oredered Chhachh in beverages.

Chhachh was too tasty and chilled. They have placed order very fast. I have asked them whether they keep food prepared in Bain-Marie, they said, no, They always make fresh as per order. Good. Too fast, I have complimented them.

Suggestion of Captain was good. Sizzler, one of the best i can remember in my life. Nargisi Kofta was also yummy. Naan were soft and good in quantity and.

Finally we have ordered for Rasmalai and Ice-cream. Rasmalai was awessome again. Ice-cream was tasting different. I asked Captain, they told me that they use Basken and Robin Ice-cream. Very good in taste.

Pricing is reasonable too. Service is fast. Staff are courteous.

Recommended to everybody. Go and have fun.

This place serves shitty food. There service is really bad and the quality of food which they serve is more like a 3rd class dhaba.

This outlet is situated above Kanha near Gopalpura Flyover on 03rd floor.

I went there at lunch time. Basic ambiance and decor, only 02 tables were there who were having lunch there. We were 02 person, 01 was my friend came from Delhi and me.

We have been attended promptly by the Captain. We were not much hungry and wanted to have basic things, so ordered for Thali which is having many varities. I have not seen generally Thali concept in Fine Dine Except Rajdhani and Pind Balluchi Restaurant.

Food has come before expected, i was thinking that they will take at least 15 minutes as there were many things in thali but we have been served in 10 minutes. Good speed. Again fascinated by the quickie.

Food was excellent, sweet was mindboggling.

For Ambiance i will give them 4 out of 5.
For Food i will give them 5 out of 5.
For Service i will give them 5 out of 5.

Must visit place of every food lovers.

No 'sukh' at Tansukh
1.5 out of 5

Another restaurant in Jaipur that offers a lot of options on their menu card but proves themselves highly inefficient in preparing even basic dishes is Tansukh, situated at Himmat Nagar on Tonk Road. Though the name says Tansukh, don't expect any kind of "sukh" at this food joint.

Entering the place with a wholesome appetite for Chinese, South Indian as well as North Indian (according to individual preference), we left the place with total disappointment after realizing that names can be really misleading. I was always very fond of South Indian cuisine no matter where I am, whereas two of my friends always have a large appetite for Chinese. So, when we heard about this place from one of the hotel staff (where we were staying), we decided to satiate our taste buds with our respective favorites.

With an average ambience with simple decor and lighting, Tansukh is not a very big restaurant in space and area. We took a corner table near the AC machine to get refreshed by the cool air coming out of the AC as the outside temperature was just killing us. One of the waiters soon approached us with a menu card and asked us about the type of drinking water we would like to have. It was peak dining hour (around 1.30 PM) but we saw only one occupied table.

As it is a vegetarian eatery, we opted for paneer preparations. For appetizers, we ordered Paneer Tikka and Chilli Potato, whereas for the main course, we ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Bajra ki Roti from their North Indian section; Babycorn with Mushroom, Chilli Paneer and Veg Noodles from their Chinese counter and Masala Dosa and Dahi vada from their South Indian section. Despite this variety, not a single item was nice, neither in look nor in taste. Every item was way too oily and the Bajra ki Roti (a traditional Rajasthani dish) was so badly prepared we couldn't eat it - we were highly disappointed. Moreover, ingredients like mushroom and babycorn were semi-cooked and quite bland as well.
