We host our company's Diwali function every year at Black Salt. The place is great in terms of the area, the food is also great. However, the taste can improve a bit. The place is overall a fun place to be. It is recommended for private parties, group gatherings and more.

Have you guys heard of a newly opened restaurant and cafe in Pink city. I'm talking about Black Salt Restaurant & Cafe. Situated at a very calm and peaceful place away from traffic n noise. They provide various seating options which also includes outdoor seating near the pound and indoors. ◽perfect place to spend time and enjoy food with family n friends. ◽ they also handle n organise events like birthday, anniversary, corporate meetings, etc. ◽Hygienic food, good quantity at super pocket- friendly prices. ◽Recommended beverages n dishes: Bulbul sharbat, Subz bhutta kebab, Veg Jalfrezi and paneer lababdar. Now talking about the food, they offer a huge variety north indian, chinese, street food, italian, etc. I ordered: Hot coffee, Bulbul sharbat, Subz Bhutta Kebab, Spring roll, Veg Jalfrezi, Paneer Lababdar and Churchur Parantha. ◾BULBUL SHARBAT red drink with a punch of lemon, topped with sabja seeds which make it healthy. Presented beautifully. ◾SUBZ BHUTTA KEBAB spicy kebab served amazingly with tomato ketchup. It was so good in taste but had excessive cloves in it. ◾SPRING ROLL had a usual filling of veggies served with tomato n mustard dips. Presentation was alluring. And spring roll sheet was also crispy enough. ◾ PAPRI CHAAT It was crispy enough, not at all soggy. Balanced in taste... although taste of potato n sauces are felt separately. Needs a lil improvement. ◾VEG JALFREZI had smoky flavors, spices were in perfect proportion and not at all oily. It was normally spiced. Adequate in quantity. ◾PANEER LABABDAR was mildly spiced and lil sweet. Had good quantity of paneer pieces in it. Gravy was good in taste. ◾Churchur parantha: Was less crispy than expected n lil oily. It was good in taste n had flavourings of ajwain. Their services were fast and the staff was cooperative. Black salt restaurant situated at Durgapura, Jaipur. In the middle of the restaurant it's having garden perfectly suitable for night group party viz. Birthday celebration, Group gathering. The food available here is very testy n delicious n also available at very cheap price. It's perfectly suitable for everyone like couples, families , college group. The way staff deals with their customer is also magnificent.

I have visited this place two times. Ambience is good but now the food quality is decreased. Chandani Kabab is really a good dish, one must try it once. We have organized Diwali party over this place.The staff is cooperative.

I first time entered here because of ApnaJaipur and then started visiting once in every week. The only thing to remember is you need to call restaurant and need to reserve your table on call (without paying anything) as sometimes they face houseful. Food, food is superbly awesome and rates to staff, location, decoration and location everything is actually awesome, affordable and corporative as well.

This is a look alike of heritage site, though it's not a heritage place. The experience of visiting this place is amazing. The place is beautiful where one can feel natural air. It is a good place to visit with family. One can arrange small party, event, birthday party or kitty party here. You can arrange party for around 300 - 400 people. The service and behaviour of staff was also good. The food and ambience were so nice. Specially the location of this place is good as it almost comes in the center of Jaipur.

This place is great for small or medium parties as it has a sufficiently large open garden in front. The food tastes pretty good, prices are not too high. There is also a fine dining open and close area. You may like the place for family dinner and small parties. The closed dining area is in a tent style with traditional touch.

Dear All,<br/><br/>I have no option to give no star so i have to give 1<br/>star "BLACK SALT" Pl read below points.<br/><br/>1.there will be only 4 Waiters who will be serving you while having dinner,in short service is very slow even you have to wait atleast 30 minutes for basic thing like water, salt ,tissues etc.<br/>2. Food quality is also just 'ok' no hygiene factor nothing.<br/>3. Atmosphere is also not up to the mark.<br/>4. Behavior of staff is like they are only Owner of the property and they don't have to think about your time.<br/>5. In its staff nobody is having smile because they are busy in their stuff.<br/>6. Owner need to look into this.<br/><br/>Humble suggestion do not go until you have huge free time.<br/><br/>Thanks.

I just placed an order here and I did not received complete order and when I called back to them in this regard they disconnected my call and did not pick any of my calls later..plus there packing too was damaged..a really pathetic way to treat a customer

I liked the taste of the food as I got what I wanted to have, i.e., less spicy and hot--they served it that  way. BUT, they provided a 'Fork' to eat 'DAL and Rice'. The quantity was also not adequate, not even the usual quantity which are normally packed. The chapati was fully cooked and good.

Very Nice food. Little difficult to find the location but when i entered in the property it was awsome. Huge space. We were group of 30 people and they welcomed in well manner. We played alot at garden and then enjoyed the buffet dinner inside the restaurant. Very budget friendly, kids friendly. Staff is educated and well groomed. Oreo shake was very good. You must try Paneer lababdar and missi roti. I highly recommend the  place.

Bad experience. We 16 friends went for a party and bought buffet dinner, but they could not provide what was mentioned in the menu even after the order was placed 2 to 3 hrs before we went to eat. The place is nice but the management should be up to the mark

Just ordered from Black Salt via Zomato and the food was extremely disappointing. Just a simple paneer lababdar and garlic naan.<br/><br/>The garlic in the naan isn't cooked as it should be and the paneer dish is way below par. No sign of gravy. Extremely watery. The paneer isn't marinated enough. It's like they just threw the paneer in and packed it right away for a quicker delivery....bad idea.<br/><br/>One simple request. If you cannot deliver good food, at least try to deliver fresh salad on the side. Fresh onions isn't a lot to ask now is it?<br/><br/>I don't want to add anything to my review cause I'm really annoyed right now to be honest.

Well i was exploring which cafe shall we try out..and i found out about this one..seeing the photos on the ambiance section.(nice photos of it at night) i say it was worth a try, leaving only food to be tasted.(ironically we visited the restro during noon) ..Staff is friendly and quite professional. From the menu i was quite surprise by its reasonable amount of rates.. You can order end number of things and still your bill will not go above 1000 INR. With reasonable prices there is no compromise in quality of food.. Whites sauce was awesome in taste but only two cons: 1)bread was not served . 2)it was overcooked as most of the penne was tearing apart. Though quantity was quite enough for two.. Spring rolls and cheese kulchas were good enough..<br/>Tasting Tip: You can order green chutney and try green chutney on a bit portion of white sauce pasta..Its super duper awesome.

The food was worst from whenever I ordered from Zomato. I ordered 2 combos: one was dal and lachcha Paratha and other was paneer lababdar combo. Both the lachcha Paratha and naans were burnt and the dal and paneer lababdar were not eatable. Even when I contacted Zomato, they said they will take the issue with the restaurant and refunded a very small amount in my wallet. This was my worst experience of ordering from Zomato.

When I ordered here Frist time I love there food. But Next time when I repeat my order it's pathetic. I oderded two Thai... Whole menu massup in each other I unable to find which is dal and which is sabji... Pulab is mentioned in there but get simple rice those are also not fresh... Umm...Totally skippable.... I ordered chilly paneer, Kiya paneer,American corn,honey chili potato and garlic naan.<br/>The paneer was very stiff ,tasted fake. The gravy was fine actually . But paneer were a big turn off. And the naan was ok. If you want food on a budget, order from chawla veg restaurant, they have much better quality.

today my mother visited the place and their are no stewards to attend even water is not cold food quality is not good very low services they are not interested to attend their guest they were busy to manage dandiya night worst experience ever<br/>

Very Nice Hotel. Visited 2nd time here. Calm, no rush even on weekends, good food and very reasonable. From starters to main course every single dish was very tasty. Ambiance is also very well and properly maintained 👍

Very pathetic place this is. All the food items we ordered are served cold. No one to take orders. Service was very poor. Even after complaining at the counter for the service they said the service will remain same. The staff there was really having ego. Will not suggest this place to anyone for sure.

Don’t visit this place, they are cheaters. They take bookings and than cancel your booking at last time and take someone else booking. Staff behaves like a goons.

This place has one huge garden which is very peaceful to be seated at. The food is good and the prices very reasonable. A good place to have a meal on a budget.

One of the worst places in Jaipur. Poor service and bad food... No F&B manager available to take and solve customer's concerns... I do not recommend anyone to visit this place. 😣
