Review Conversation Restobar - Jaipur

On The Platter
Been to Conversation Restaurant for their Bengali food festival and thoroughly enjoyed the spread prepared by their expert chefs. Everything was authentically prepared and was super delish. The entire buffet was for such reasonable price and we had a great time.

- LOCATION & AMBIANCE : 4/5 Located near MI Road, this restaurant is located inside Hotel WallStreet. I’d heard of this restaurant many times a couple of years back but finally visited today for lunch buffet. The restaurant has a very simple ambiance with ample seating area. - FOOD : 4/5 I had a couple of starters from the menu and the lunch buffet. The dishes that I loved the most here : CHICKEN HOT N SOUR SOUP VEGETABLE DRAGON MURG MAKHMALI KEBABS LAL MAAS PANEER LABABDAR DAL MAKHANI GULAB JAMUN - STAFF & SERVICE : Service is quick and hassle free. - VALUE FOR MONEY : Only ₹500 for the lunch buffet, keeping in mind the great quality, it’s extremely economical. - WILL I VISIT AGAIN? Yes, I will visit soon to try their breakfast buffet which costs only ₹200!!!

Came to this for tea and coffee as I was staying in the same hotel. It is mostly for hotel guest only. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Food menu is normal staple menu with no exceptions of in house specialty. They have a buffet spread but it is only on when they have enough guest in the hotel.

Very scarce walk in from outside. So won’t go if I am not staying at this hotel as there are many choices available near by on MI road with great food options.

Food place for a drink they have decently stocked bar. Beer should be more chilled when served.

This Restaurant is situated at MI Road, Been there for lunch.

The ambiance is simple not so fancy.
Food:
Starters, Loved the paneer tikka, It was Nicely marinated so tasted good.

Seekh kebab was little dry, but taste was okayish.

Honey chilly potato were delicious and crispy.

Drinks were not that good, need improvement in drinks.

Main Course:
Dal Makhani was the best I have ever had.
Paneer lebabdar it was too good.
Palak corn was not upto the mark, Definitely needs improvement.

Loved the salads and soups.

They should add some innovative dessert options in their Buffet menu.

They serve nice breakfast and lunch buffet and the prices are really economical.
Overall nice experience considering the price and food quality.

Simplicity at it's best ♥️

Been there few days ago, I really liked the soothing ambience there. I tried many dishes over there.

Honey chilly potato, seek kebab, paneer tikka are really good.
The drink blue lagoon is quite refreshing.
The main course is lip smacking and finally I found the best dal makhni in Jaipur.

The staff is quite friendly and service was really good.
This place is quite pocket friendly too as breakfast buffet is for 200/- per head and the dinner-lunch buffet is for - 450-500/-

I would like to highly recommend this place.

I'm visiting it again soon 🌸

Beautiful place at MI road at the Wall Street hotel. Various amazing dishes on the menu. Reasonable like anything. Parking is no problem at all. They serve veg & non veg both. Best place for breakfast buffet, at unbelievable prices. We had super fun at Lunch buffet @ ₹500/- per head only. Lovely spread.

Conversation is this classy fine dine restaurant, with a beautiful bar situated in the hustle bustle of MI road, the place is inside a beautiful big n silent hotel called the WALL STREET
we went there for a lunch buffet & we tried:
🌸Green kiss: It was a mocktail mixed with pineapple juice & khus sharbat but was too sweet for my taste
🌸Blue lagoon : It was really strong but otherwise better than the green kiss
🌸Paneer tikka ajwani: It was amazing, paneer was soft & well marinated, the chutney was too good.
It was delicious
🌸Vegetable dragon: It was spicy but a bit hard, needed improvement
🌸Pasta arrabiata: It needed a bit of an improvement, it wasn’t creamy or cheesy. Really basic
🌸Paneer lababdar: It was delicious, one of the best vegetables they had, Loved it. Super creamy and the panneer was also soft
🌸Corn palak: It was not good, it tasted stale
🌸Dal makhni: It was one of the best dal makhni i’ve had loved it
🌸Peas pulao & veg biryani were both basic and had scope for improvement
🌸Gulabjamuns were soft n fresh
🌸Fruit custard was watery and not good at all
🌸Matka kulfi was superb

Stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated - had buffet breakfast - good poha and horrific idli sambhar - the chef should have a ban in place from creating South Indian food- service is extremely poor with no importance given to customers. Was keen on trying their dinner buffet which was supposed to have started at 7 but eventually started at 9.30pm because they were expecting a group of people to have buffet at midnight - hence they decided to make everyone else wait- furthermore there was no interest shown by any servers or the “manager” on the floor to attend to us - the servers ignored us completely when asked for the a la carte menu. Did not eventually ended up having dinner at all.

Do not believe on low ratings of this restaurant. The ambiance was awesome as well as the food was very delicious. Service was also excellent.

Visited this place with my best friend for buffet dinner. Nice and cozy ambiance, great food, sufficient variety, limited staff but courteous service.
About the food, chicken makhani was great but was a little too sweet for a savoury dish, noodles were great, pasta was sweet too (I guess they have a Gujrati chef 😝 no hard feelings). Salads were nice but the coleslaw was not fresh. Ice creams were great but they served only 2 desserts one was ice cream (Vanilla or Strawberry) and the other was gulab jamun. Overall a decent place to go as it is very pocket friendly being just at Rs.450/- per person.
Personally speaking, i would rather try some other place than visiting them again.

Ambience is ok but the food..
Very average food and the dessert of the day Mango Mousse was just terrible. How do i describe it...umm..watery mango flavoured custard. The Buffet spread was very stingy and not imaginative at all.
We kind of felt cheated.

First of all I am surprised to see the reviews here. As some of them certainly seems to be biased or influenced by competition.

Went their on a Sunday night with family. I choose the buffet option for food as I was there to celebrate a bday.

Let me add each aspect point by point

1. Ambience and Location -Ambience is very decent and certainly look good as the lights and decoration and music gave it a great experience.Location is also very trackable and easy for someone to reach there

2. Service - we went for some drinks before the food and I was disappointed there as drinks were only served with papad nothing else. They would have suggested to bring chicken wings which were there in buffet. Rest regarding staff and service everything was good and very polite.

3. Food - Now coming to most important part as we had buffet we had lot of options to choose
Chicken wings with garlic was good but could be much more better

Egg curry not as good

Chinese + Noodles

Soups very tasty
Paneer lababdar - very well made dish
And many more things like gulab jamun

I suggest to include more items like icecream in the menu and gravy item for nonveg.

A well spent evening at Conversation and I recommend the readers to try this out.
Small place, good price and service is fine!! U can go and have a drink which is not priced too high!! Can visit if you don't want to spend much on other restaurants. Food is one thing which adds up to the place. Else rest is Okay!!

Taken breakfast out there. ... no body was there to attend.. However we found the place to sit... no plates and bowls for food. .. After the wait of some time we got the same ... but for cutlery the reply was.. Please take from the service table. .. The taste was dull... no much choices. . Not recommended at all. .. #worstexperience

Once upon a time, this restaurant had good food. Their starters were delicious but even then, they were stingy with quantity. Later, they replaced their chef(s) with oompa-loompas who only know two things- chaat masala and salt.

Just a few weeks back, I decided to see what the oompa-loompas were up to and went there for dinner. We didn't even settle down, before which a waiter quickly asked if we'd like mineral water and in a flash, brought out a bottle and opened it like his life depended on it.

We had just a sip of the soup and it had the most weird, industrial- grade cleaning agent kind of taste. It actually tasted like clorox! We brought it to their notice and they just stood there giving lame excuses hinting that the gross taste would grow on us gradually. We left just paying for the water.

This water tactic they do, is pretty cheap and a complete deal-breaker. When you go to a restaurant, their eagerness to open a bottle of water for you just shows how big of a leech they are. People are not stupid and these dumb tricks are as old as the bunny-in-the-hat magic trick so quit it. If people are ok with R.O water, that's their choice. If they want bottled water, that's fine too. Training waiters in discreet bitchery and judgmental looks has NO EFFECT so spare us all the unnecessary drama. It's like those morons at lifestyle who try to shame you into donating a rupee towards whatever they deem charitable. They ask you, "Kya aap ek rupya donate karna chaahengay?" And 99% people say "ok" just because they don't want to appear as a D-bag in front of others. THE NEXT TIME YOU GO THERE, I REQUEST YOU TO REFUSE PAYMENT OF THAT "CHARITY". Be nice to people, feed the poor around you (there are lots everywhere!), don't be forced into these dumb charity scams.
Coming back to Conversation (See how we had a conversation here?), I'd suggest skip it.

It's quite close to Paanch batti circle.Decent joint with a bar.Its known for its nonveg food.I went there for lunch and tried its nonveg platter.Nothing exceptional, probably needs a more extensive exploration at leisure.A good place to hang around.Ambience and staff are average.

'Conversation' as the name suggests is a nice place to hang around with your group - in a laid back environment of late hours. We all know it as the best place to have mid-night buffet in the town. My friends from Delhi are a big fan. Decent environment. Nice interiors. They serve you with a decent variety of veg and non-veg food and there's something for everyone in the menu no matter when and what time you visit.

I like this place more than anything else because of our experience with the service that you would expect least late in the night.

Before you plan it for any day in the week please note it only serves midnight dinner on weekends.

One Suggestion: Just avoid the 110 and 80 Rupees mineral water they offer. This is too much you pay for a basic necessity.

I would fairly recommend this place!

I had been to this Restaurant at Wall Street last Saturday. It is known for non-vegetarian preparations as I have been with
my friends earlier. The ordered food on ala carte though buffet option was also available. I relished the food I had ordered
My family was very happy with food and the services. We had a small baby with us the staff gave me french fries for the baby.
It was so lovely. Staff is courteous and helpful. the ambiance of the Restaurant is great and cleanliness was very very good.I could easily make up that the staff is maintaining high standards of hygiene and dinning here is very safe. They have a very good bar but we did not ordered drinks. They made our evening happy. Thank you friens

ambiance- decent and impressive. not too loud! its has a very comfortable and cozy environment.
service- no complaints. manager is attentive, service is quick!
food- its a buffet, where there is equal no. of veg as well as non-veg dishes. so there is no complaints regarding veg food. food tastes really good and appealing ! serves variety of salads, side dishes, and desserts. no complaints.
does not disappoint at all. billing is quick and one can enjoy a good quality time with family. its better to make reservations before only.
overall - a nice experience. good enough to give a shot! :)
