Review German Bakery And Coffee Shop - Jaisalmer

We were happy to find this place, as it was just what we were looking for! The cakes and cookies were very enjoyable and the owner/staff was very friendly. Also one of the only places I've come across a mocha on the menu, which was very good! It is hard to find good coffee so this was a relief.

Awesome place a bit up the fort gate. Their cookies and honeynut cake are delicious. Coffee is really good too. Great place to relax and rest a bit.

It's a small place with seating area for about 15-16 people. These guys come from Darjeeling for 5 months(November to March ) to bring this place to life for tourists and locals They serve old school cakes(slices) ,pies , cookies , sandwiches , tea , coffee ,buttermilk, etc. They Have a variety of cakes and pies which are of grainy texture ...they go very well with hot beverages and make you full and satisfied. The sandwiches as well taste good They make small batches of everything which means everything is made a fresh everyday ! If one visits Jaisalmer fort ...this place is worth stopping by for a quick evening snack or breakfast .

Don't go by the size of this place. Located right at the entrance of the Jaisalmer fort, this place serves good options for an early morning breakfast (this place opens by 8 while the other cafes open only by 11)..one of the best croissants i have ever had! Coffee was good too. Definitely recommended.

Located at the entrance of the fort. The Apple crumble cake is really good! Croissants are not real croissants. Made with sweet bread dough, however taste is really nice. There is room for around 12 people outside. Take Away is possible.

Good place for a quick bite with friendly and fast service. The baking isn't German by any stretch of imagination but it is quite good. Easy to see why you see this happening all over India when you watch the very excited German tourists pointing at the sign while you eat there ;-)

Best coffee in Jaisalmer! We’ve come here 3 time now and the guys are great! Delicious croissants and the mango pie we also had twice because it was so good! Highly recommend!

I am from Vancouver Island Canada, I have been in India for over a week, I have had a very hard time finding anything but instant coffee. This little German bakery has fresh baking and real coffee. If you are in the fort in Jaiselmer, go have a cup and a piece of their fresh baking! Looking forward to another cup tomorrow. 😊

I died and went to chocolate heaven after I bit into the utterly simplistic choco banana pie in German bakery. I was tired and dusty and I just had had a lousy lunch at a much hyped restaurent- so this simple, homely pie was just what the doctor ordered. Earlier the kids had certified the lemon pie as having the most lemoniest icing ever, so I'll take their word for it. The coffee is awesome too. It's a sweet little place to chill, while looking out at the massive entrance to the Jaisalmer fort and enjoying the intricate and colourful tapestries hung around for sale by other vendors.

A decent place to have some snacks in Jaiselmer Fort. You get one of the best chai and pretty simple yet delicious sandwiches and cookies. Very few Eggless items are served here.

Nice filler coffee. Veg sandwich very satisfying. Cinnamon roll a treat. Service a bit iffy.

Great selection of cakes. Couldn't complain about the chai or the coffee. Nice spot to watch the hoards of tourists entering the fort.

Amazing pie, great coffee and fast service. It sits amidst beautiful historical buildings which makes the experience even better.

We had two ice lattes and the lemon cake. The ice lattes were very good and the lemon cake was absolutely awesome! Seriously.

The best place to drink a good masala chai, good coffee and to eat a wonderful cake. The owner is really nice, and it's a really good service.
