Review Little Tibet - Jaisalmer

Sumita Furlong
Little Tibet is a delightful restaurant with a surprisingly expansive menu of tasty dishes. We greatly enjoyed our lunch, the friendly staff and the wonderfully personal service. Next day the owner also gave us a tour of the Fort. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history, culture and heritage of this Fort, this city and the state. Most importantly, he is a very warm, friendly, genuine person who keeps the safety and the interest of his foreign tourists in mind. We came from the US to see the Fort but will return back with a lot of great memories of having made a really good friend.

Aside from the food being incredible, the view of the fort and the city outside of the fort is amazing. Rudra’s service and hospitality was so wonderful and we really enjoyed getting to meet him and learn more about him. Super happy with this spot, everyone should come to meet Rudra ❤️

This is the only structure in the fort with so many vibrant colours painted on walls to give that tibetian vibes. From outside, it looks like a regular tibetian restaurant. When we enquired, we were surprised that they have rooftop sitting area as well. The next thing I saw was the most beautiful and amazing view you can get of the fort and city. This is one of the fort’s watch towers! You can have a drink, eat and enjoy the view, which you will never het tired off. Must try Chicken Thukpa. Tastes very authentic 👌 Did try chilli potato as well, but was oily. Must visit place in Jaisalmer at evenings.

Great Spaghetti served with Indien taste. Momos are stunning. Really friendly manager, he showed us Rummy, an Indian card game aswell :D. Can fully recommend that place. Also the view from the rooftop is great. The rooftop is very nice and chill. Drinks and food are super delicious. We went their two times during our short stay at Jaisalmer. :)

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I visited there just to rest for sometime while walking on Jaisalmer Fort. As I entered had such a warm welcome form the lovely staff. I was amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service and the place too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Amazing location. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the forts markets for some serenity, while still feeling like you're a part of it from atop the rooftop. And the views somehow only get better by night. Food was authentic and awesome. Shout out to Rakesh🙏

Amazing restaurant!! Delicious momos and the best chocolate shake we’ve ever had. Host Rakesh is a legend, he was so hospitable and we were also lucky to spend the day with him as our guide. Highly recommend Little Tibet Restaurant.
