Had a wonderful stay, the staff is warm and accommodating, very courteous. It felt like we were staying at home, with all possible facilities. Huge and spacious rooms rooms, difficult to find in big hotels. Good food and great service. Very happy..

Hidden gem, this hotel deserves at least 4 stars! Great rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort, very romantic interior decoration, excellent service, great massage treatments at the spa... all-round amazing experience! The only downside is the immediate area around the hotel which is a bit shifty. Better to take a taxi to wherever you want to go, avoid walking around on foot.

The only con is that this property doesn't have more rooms, Mr Virendra the owner is such a helpful and nice gentleman to deal with. Wish Team Gulaal all the best! (One Tip: Do try the poha in their breakfast menu, it's fabulous)

Our favorite type of intimate boutique hotel, just 12 rooms in a newly-constructed building designed to mimic a traditional haveli. We were booked into one of the four suites, with window settees and a raised, framed king bed fit for a Maharajah. Service over-the-top attentive and thoughtful. Excellently-prepared and flavored food at the rooftop vegetarian restaurant, with luxurious tables and unobstructed views of the fort no alcohol served. Location is a bit out-of-the-way from the main activities and attractions of the town.

I think service is all about people. One of the most recommended hotels offering good value for money. Although a vegetarian hotel, none of my guest complained of missing on non vegetarian dishes while staying here. A must place to stay while in Jaisalmer

Beautiful place with a Maharadjan theme! Friendly and fast staff, very nice and big rooms, beautiful rooftop restaurant with very good menu (we tried all Rajasthan meals, all were very tasty) Very calm place but only a 5min/100rs tuktuk drive from the busy and loud Fort Jaisalmer away (hotel helps with getting a tuktuk) If I would go to see Jaisalmer again I definitely would do this with Hotel Gulaal as my sanctuary!

Excellent property with excellent service. Stayed there two nights and always felt like you are staying at your favourite relative's house. Superb rooms. The food menu is not extensive but the items in the menu is tasty and good. They only have veg and egg options. No non veg items are there. What really touches you is the service and hospitality. They had even arranged for fireworks on diwali for the kids who were staying there. No words to describe hospitality

We had the absolute best stay at Hotel Gulaal! We stayed here as a family over Christmas for a few days and we cannot overemphasise how generous and kind the staff were, especially the owner. They're all absolutely lovely, and made the Jaisalmer trip an absolute win for all of us. If you're planning to go to Jaisalmer, this is the hotel you need to go to. The staff are great, the food is impeccable, and the views are everything! Not to mention the aesthetic - it is such a vibe, so traditional, and yet oh-so-modern. You'll love this place! ⭐️
