Review Chandan Shree Restaurent - Jaisalmer

Ram narayan Vanneri
Great food. Done of the best Kachoris i have ever had. I have been here at least 5 times since my first visit. The Rajasthan thali and the kadi especially was fantastic. The service is great. The location is very clear to the fort. Digital payments are all accepted. They also have a sweet shop and the kesar rabri was delicious

Visited Nov 2023. Located near the fort entrance. I came here every morning for makhaniya lassi (Rs 50). As good as the other more well known lassi joint (you know which one). This review is only for the lassi, btw ;-) See pic. Edit : get a great view of the fort from the upper floor. good for a morning shot of the fort.

Great food. Restaurant service was good too. Reasonable pricing. Will get crowded in peak hours. Sweets are also good. But the cashier in the sweet shop(I guess the owner) has a bad attitude towards customer. He involves in over charging tourist and rude behaviour to them. He has to understand that business runs because of the tourist!

Lovely place to dine, have breakfast and not to mention evening snacks... Very economical. I would definitely recommend Lassi at this place. Garnished with Cashew nuts, it really fills up the taste buds. The staff are polite and that just makes the food even more tastier. Overall, had a great time here!! Would love to revisit this place in future..💖👍

The best restaurant I'd recommend if you're looking for somewhere near Jaisalmer Fort is one where the service was exceptional, and the food is prepared in authentic Rajasthani style.

One of THE best restaurants in Jaipur and I mean it. It's really close to the fort's entrance and I cannot even stop complementing the place. All thalis are extremely good and you get an unlimited refill. Food is on God tier level and you won't regret visiting the place.

One of the best Restaurant available near the Jaisalmer Fort. If you are in the area and looking for a good restaurant then you need to definately check this one out. We had all of meal here only. They had a wide variety lf dishes from breakfast to dinner to dessert, all were really amazing. We had Aaloo Parathas, Dhosa, Paneer Bhurji, Daal Makhni with Chhachh. In dessert we had Ras Malia which was very tasty. The best part is all the food is very reasonable for the price they are asking. This restuarant is highly recommended.

Value for money..had lunch with Bajra Roti and Gatta Curry. The Ghotuwa is also nice. Lunch for two cost 270 INR. We also returned for dinner and had a light meal. They can improve their wash basin given that we all need to wash hands to eat. Otherwise it's a good place to eat with no frills. Tip: if you request food to be cooked with less oil they do try. We did it after our experience during lunch.

The Food was amazing and cheap compared to other hotels in the vicinity. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place might feel a little small and crowded but the food was very good. And is also located exactly in front of the Jaisalmer fort.

Very good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The thali is also amazing! Is a local restaurant, good prices and good service! Ainda fica de frente para o forte!!

Local restaurant at local prices. Sober decoration and mostly Indian public. The menu is completely in Hindi (dish names in Latin alphabet). Generous servings, if you order a thalli you get refills of the curries, bread and rice. The thali also includes dessert and butter milk. If you are not after a fancy view of the city from a rooftop and more interested in getting great food at great rates, you gonna love this places.

During my visit to Jaisalmer in March this year, I walked a lot to feel the vibes of the city and got tired hence hungry quicker than usual. The tour guide recommended the Chandan Sri Hotel that is right in front of the Jaisalmer Golden Fort. They had a sweet shop on the ground floor and a dining hall on the upper floor. The sitting arrangement was retro with all-wooden tables and chairs. The main attraction was self-service racks from which one could take the necessary dishes, paper napkins, spoons, and cutlery as required. The food was served at the table and the service was prompt and quick. They have an elaborate menu. I chose the Veg Thali which was unlimited and had 2 vegetables and one Daal with rice and unlimited rotis + a choice of dessert from Rasgulla or Gulab Jamun. The best part was the limited and clutter-free Thali at nominal rates that were well-suited for a quick bite and get back on the road again. ♿ Accessibility Features: No=Ramp access. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.

Located just outside the Jaisalmer Fort, this restaurant serves the best quality of sweets and savouries. During my Jaisalmer trip, I used to had small-sized Ghewar here (INR 50 then) thrice a day. Haven't experienced such good Ghewar anywhere else. You can also try Pyaaz Kachori and other sweets. Quality: Excellent Price: Affordable Location: Accessible This restaurant also finds a positive mention in a book written by an Australian during his trip to Jaisalmer. Would revisit this place everytime I am in Jaisalmer.

'💓' from TN. A good place to have a satisfactory lunch in the surrounding. They have south Indian and other courses but their cultural dishes were so nice (chapati with dal and aloo matar was my fav). Sweets n snack were available too. And most of all a good hearted owner
