Review Baba's Veg & Non Veg - Jalandhar

While I had a perfectly fine dinner here with excellent service and a fantastic view, I can't say that I'd rush back for the food. It was all very competently prepared, just not fantastic. We shared the starter platter which was nice to taste many things, and came with awesome dark bread. The mains were fine.

A restaurant at heart of Jalandhar. Ambience is okay. You can enjoy your meal with a good dose of music songs being played on big LED TV. You must also note that there are only handful of space to park your vehicle outside. The street connecting it to the main road is also narrow. However if you like to get good dose of chicken then you are heading to right place. You can dine alone or bring group like family, friends or colleagues. The menu is not a book rather a paper menu inside glass. You can enjoy the tasty meal over here. The taste is really awesome. I had Hyderabadi dum biryani. It was served in the earthen Pot, which was quite amazing. The every piece of rice and chicken was filled with taste, and the gravy alongside did the rest. I recommend this place.

Delicious Chicken. We ordered chicken tangri and Baba’s butter chicken and these were very well prepared. They should increase seating capacity. Must try this place once you want to have chicken as your meal.

The place is decent, ambience could have been better when compared to other baba restaurants. The food was great 👌 but the keema chicken was to spicy. Overall a decent place to have dinner with friends and family.

i had there butter chicken and lemon and pepper chicken. It was delicious. They are famous for the creamy texture of their chicken but somehow it was super rich.

Online, I ordered Mutton Keema to abate my cravings. Unfortunately, they delivered some other recipe, you might call it Mutton Nihari. Moreover, it was packed in a polytene instead of any recyclable packing material. When I reported the issue, they were trying to convince me that it's Mutton Keema with bones.

Chicken was damn spicy and was not cooked well. Even after adding special instructions that chicken should not be spicy the restaurant did not follow the instructions. It was really bad experience. Disappointed customer

It was first experience with Baba Chicken and honestly food was sub standard. Chilli chicken was half cooked and tasted like rubber. Chicken biryani was more like rice mixed in some chicken gravy. Overall experience was bad and embarrassing in front of the guests. Only saving grace was butter chicken which tasted nice.

Chicken pieces size ,even the leg piece was so small and gravy this time was not up to d mark. Not xpected for this bestseller dish from Baba

One of the best butter chicken I have ever tasted. It was so creamy yet full of flavour and the chicken was tender too. It is definitely their highlight dish and a must have. We also tried assorted rotis and tandoori chicken. They were really good too and surprisingly there fresh lime soda was again a highlight. For some reason it was so tasty and refreshing. Baba chicken model town is famous for baba butter chicken and also a very popular restaurant in model town jalandhar.. Dal makhani here is finger licking good.. Staff is polite and ambience is reasonably good.. Nobody in jalandhar can do better mojito and Masala coke than them.. 👌✌<br/>

Worst experience! I ordered half tandoori chicken @ Rs. 270, they served 4 piece which are also small in size. Chicken pieces are too dry to eat. One piece seems like stale and smells bad. I never recommended this restaurant to anyone.

There has been a lot of hype about this place and I decided to visit this place. And as everyone told, we ordered the butter chicken. But It is average butter chicken with sweet taste and nothing extra ordinary. Chilly chicken tastes better and with a huge portion. Also briyani is disappointing. The place is generally packed with families, but if you are very particular about your butter chicken and briyani, you can give this place a miss.

I have ordered two soups from them. Vegetarian soup was ok but chicken soup was really disappointed, i could hardly find chicken pieces in it. So i would say quality of soup wasnt upto standard.

The pop-corn sized chicken pieces in the Butter Chicken will invariably lead to repeat orders and bigger portions. Wonder who gets ripped at the end of it all....the chicken or the customer.

We ordered both veg items as well as non-veg items.<br/>Veg items were:<br/>Honey Chilly Potatoes,<br/>Yellow Dal,<br/>Kadhai Cheese.<br/><br/>Non-Veg items were:<br/>Tangri Chicken,<br/>Kali Mirch Chicken<br/><br/>Jeera Rice and Tandoori Roti.<br/>Soup: Chicken soup and Corn Soup.<br/><br/>All the items were delicious. Loved it.<br/>Chicken Tangri was exceptional.<br/><br/>Soups were average.<br/><br/>Overall it cost us Rs.2352.00 including tax.<br/>

Baba chiken is good place for ordering chicken online whether it's rate is high but quality of food is awesome i have never eated butter chicken like that ever before however i have not ate chicken from chick chick house (adarsh nagar) but i think it is better than chick chick house thanks to baba chicken for making my dinner tasty

Haven't had such an awesome food for a while now. Amazing taste and excellent portion size. Great ambience. Hygienic and much better than other chicken corners in jalandhar. Home- delivery is also available in evenings which is convenient. Highly recommended!!

Chicken was good. But foul smell salad onions was received from Baba which ruined the complete item taste. Cream salad provided along chicken malai tikka was also not received. Also there was no cream in chicken as usually Chicken Malai Tikka is served in cream .

Lunch at Baba Chicken was yummmmm.... But whn it comes to deliver at home... U can't expect it to be well packed as they r serving it in paper box... Not gonna stay hot by the time it gets delivered.. there is something wrong which make it less tastier at home.. roasted chicken was too dry... Kadhai Chicken was ok...

The chicken biryani didn't taste as it should. The chicken in the biryani was good but the rice was pathetic.<br/>The biryani at the other baba chicken ( near bittu pardesi) tastes way better.<br/>I hope the biryani at this restaurant improves.

I ordered Hyderabadi dum biryani. They should increase Chicken pieces. There were lot of rice which were also bad in taste. The only thing i liked was taste of chicken pieces. They should add leg piece also. So, Overall the service i got i would say that don't order if you don't wanna spoil your mood and your biryani taste as well. Thanks☺

Food was okay but service was pathetic. Staff. seems to provide service as per dress of the guest. Maybe i was casually dressed in shorts thats why. After paying the bill i requested to be returned the change but staff rudely declined saying they don’t have loose cash. Omg that’s the last thing you expect from a restaurant. Baba chicken currently offers best butter chicken on the town<br/>As i tried only butter chicken of this restaurant so can't say about other food products but butter chicken is 10 on 10<br/>As like ludhiana<br/>There are currently 2 outlets in jalandhar<br/>Both offers "No other Baba Chicken outlet" in jalandhar<br/>But this restaurant is much bigger , has very nice ambience and well trained staff as compare to other<br/>And not much difference in the term of price and taste of food ❤❤
