Review Cafe Sheesh Mahal - Jodhpur

I have had a wonderful time staying at the Haveli Pal Inn. The rooms are very clean, the amazing rooftop restaurant was delicious and the service is impeccable. It is a lovely family that owns and operates the inn and restaurant. I will definitely stay here again upon my return to India someday.

Stayed here for two nights. I would say the price is on the higher side. Rooms are sufficiently large. The staff are courteous. Lunch wasn't up to the mark. But the breakfast and tandoor items for dinner were good. They had the breakfast ready by 7:30 which was helpful as we had to catch an early morning flight. It is also right at the starting of a busy and narrow street. We were told that cars do not go far beyond that point - which is an additional bonus regarding the locality. Would recommend the place in spite of the price.

A great budget stay! I stayed here with two more friends. Got a room with an amazing view of the lake! Definitely recommend!

Two nights in this lovely hotel close to the clock tower and the market all around. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Best BF. Though there is only couple of dishes, they are very tasty and authentic. Great service crew. Stay was very comfortable, well worth the money. Good useful tips from the manager. Definitely not a tourist trap. Recommended.

We were a group of 7 friends, booked 3 Heritage view rooms. Rooms were well maintained. Staff took good care of us. Breakfast was limited but freshly prepared and tasted good. Good view of Fort from rooftop restaurant. The hotel is closeby from nearby attractions. This was my second visit to same hotel.

Amazing property. Best location, situated in the heart of the city. Market, fort, other monuments, everything is nearby. View from the hotel terrace is mind boggling. Courteous staff and hosts. Hospitality was great. However, we visited the property on a Sunday, so reaching there from the market was a little bit tiring but its totally worth it.

We were travelling with elderly parent and young children. This hotel is located in the prime location just next to Sardar market. Heritage structure and modern luxury both combination made it a perfect place to stay. Views from the rooms are awasome, talk to reception during booking to choose your room. Rooftop resturent - panoroma 360 has a amazing 360 degree view of jodhpur and meherangad fort. Only drawback was as its a heritage structure you will not have lift, but my parents managed to do that, as all other things were awasome, though they were little scared earlier. Also we took room for them in ground floor. All service will be ptovided to room. Also in the same compound there is another resturent which has lift so its not a problem at all. We are realy happy with the service provided throughout and so much caring staff they have. This is one of the best recomended hotel in prime location with all luxury. Must stay place, you will surely like it.

Stayed here for 5 nights in Heritage Double Room with View and sharing my experience. Pros first 1. Nice beautiful and huge property with good location(will give a vintage haveli feeling), just opposite Gulab Sagar Lake. You can locate the property from a distance and it is kind of a local landmark. Clock Tower is 200 metres away. Unlike other hotels nearby, this property is on a wide road with ease in access( both private and public transport) 2. The room I stayed in, is facing Gulab Sagar and is super spacious with decent day light and an attached balcony. Facility wise, it checks all the right boxes and bathroom is quite spacious ( FYI - the pod did not have attached hand shower) 3. Service was decent and prompt but desires more manpower. 4. Rooftop restaurant(360 Restaurant) gives a clear and great view of the fort. 5. Breakfast options are good and overall food is decent. Cons 1. For in house food orders, they do not sign-off any bill, which may lead to some discrepancy later on. 2. Looked under staffed and some chaos when guest numbers are more. (though they managed to give us tea, which we ordered) 3. No lift facility, if you are accompanied with senior citizens. Overall, a great experience. The Host is from a Noble Family and is a great conversationist. One of the service staff (Somu) is a good chap and quite helpful. We faced a small hiccup on our last day when fan and one light in bathroom was not working. Thankfully room had AC and one additional light in bathroom which saved the day for us. Will definitely recommend this property for Jodhpur visitors.

It’s a great hotel if you want to stay right in the heart of the city and want to get a good view of the Mehrahngarh fort from their rooftop restaurant. The local shopping and food experience is very good as all the shops are very nearby to this hotel just within 200 to 800 metres. The famous misrilal hotel, shahi samosa , Motu jilebi wala etc are at a walking distance. The property is also very well maintained. It is heritage property with nice vintage look and feel. This is a very old property and feels good to stay in this Haveli. Lovely experience!!

Everything about Haveli Inn Pal was amazing. The family themselves take care of the property and Mr Narpat Singh, his daughter, his brother Pushpendra Singh and his mother made us feel comfortable and at home. The haveli while having all latest amenities has retained its old world charm and elegance. Rooms, Toilets all were clean. The room had panoramic view of the majestic Mehrangarh fort from the comfort of the bed. With two restaurants at the hotel itself - food was fresh , tasty , well priced and well sized. The view from the rooftop restaurant was the icing on the cake - couldn’t ask for anything else. Mr Somu at restaurant was amazing- passionate and full of energy The hotel although in ‘old town’ has excellent connectivity for local travel with auto’s available just at the foot steps of the hotel. Shall be there again when at Jodhpur and highly recommend this one!

Service here was fantastic, very friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast here was really good and (upon request) they organised feeding eagles from a rooftop at the cost of the mutton required. Such a fantastic stay.

The property is inside a more than 200 years old haveli and gives you a true feel of Royal Rajasthani lifestyle. Opt for the fort view rooms. Property and the rooms are really well maintained. Staffs are very courteous and helpful. I once mentioned that I plan to check out at morning 7. The staffs were already up and ready to help us with luggage. A gesture which we definitely loved.

We stayed at Pal Haveli, different to this (Within the same compound divided between two families). But I am posting the review here as Pal Haveli doesn’t have a google pin. Indique was the best restaurant in the town. The views are amazing, you get a 360 view of the city. For best seat in the house get a table 30 mins prior sunset and enjoy the sunset from the table. Coming to the hotel - The rooms are spacious and clean. For best rooms take the ones on ground floor (a floor above the street) . The rooms are well maintained and the staff is very polite and friendly.

Amazing property with amazing panoramic views of the city ! One can view all - fort, jaswant thada, umaid bhawan, and clock tower from their rooftop restaurant. Centrally located with Sardar Bazar at 3-5 minutes walk away. Rest of the major milestones are also nearby !! Family run property which gives visitors the true "padharo mare desh" feel. I have travelled extensively in Rajasthan and barely could find owners/management who are as hospitable to domestic tourists as to the foreigners. They are one of the few. I have stayed in Suryagarh, Jaisalmer in their most expensive suit; but I cherish my stay here more because of amazing hospitality from the owners as well from care takers ! Highly recommended
