Review Indique Restaurant & Bar - Jodhpur

Valerio LOLLI
The restaurant is in an historical building, the architecture and the design is superb. The chef is highly knowledgeable and quilified, helping me to choose and customize the thali set, making it vegan. The music and the atmosphere is elegant and romantic. The view from the terrace is stunning with a whole view of the clock tower, the city and the fort. The list of wines is decent with a list of local wines and Australian ones. The staff is attentive. The food is delicious and the best I had in India in almost 2 months in the country. The price is high, although justified.

Indique has a varied menu with a mix of international and Indian cuisine. Indique is beautifully situated with views from the rooftop restaurant and bar towards both the Clock Tower market and the fort. It is spotlessly clean, intimately lit and very welcoming. The bar has a good selection of drinks, including cocktails and wine. My wife wanted a break from Indian cuisine and chose the red snapper which was wonderfully presented and cooked well. My paneer lababdar was the best food I’d tasted in my first week in india. The service was good but not great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy.

Excellent location and visual ambience. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The first roof level can be accessed by an elevator but the 2nd rooftop dining area is a walk up. To reach the elevator, there's a ramp leading to the inner courtyard from the road. The Pal Haveli courtyard was majestic! Food was good.

We had dinner at Indique and really enjoyed it. The view was amazing on the terrace, and we ordered some Indian food that was very good. Our favourites were the cheese and potato naan (really amazing we hope we’ll get to try one like that again during our trip!) as well as the main course that was potato base in their Rajasthan delicacy section. The cocktails were also very good 👍

Good food, great service and fantastic views makes this rooftop restaurant as must visit in Jodhpur. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends and holidays. They have two booking slots for dinner - 7 and 9pm. We visited during the Christmas-New year week, so it was a bit chilly in the evening. But we got to see the lit up walls of the fort on one end, the clock tower on another end, and the gulab Sagar pond on one side. The food is very well prepared. We especially enjoyed the tandoori aloo 👌 The staff are polite and helpful. Overall, this restaurant was a high point of our Rajasthan trip from namma Bengaluru in 2022

This is one of the best restaurants for food while in Jodhpur. Indique Restaurant is located inside Pal Haveli, near to Ghanta Ghar (clock tower). We had been to this place for lunch with family. The restaurant is well maintained and has good interiors. The roof top offers a good view of the Mehrangarh Fort. However the AC restaurant faces towards Gulab Sagar Lake and hence one cannot see the fort while dining inside (during day time). The food quality and quantity are quite satisfactory. The taste is awesome. Each dish we tried tickled our taste buds that we craved for more. One invincible was that the lift was not working and we had to climb old styled steep stairs to the second floor. Overall, the place is worth a visit for the food and service.

Gourmet lunch with excellent service. N26.29641, E73.024025 This candle-lit rooftop restaurant in the Pal Haveli hotel is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, with stunning views of the fort, clock tower and Umaid Bhawan from the upper rooftop platform. The lower roof platform and air-conditioned room offer good views of the city. The food includes traditional tandoori, biryanis and north Indian curries. In November 2022, we ordered lunch in the air-conditioned room as sitting in the midday sun was not an option. We went for the maze dish with hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, falafel, marinated olives, roasted nuts and pita for ₹655, the PAL club sandwich made to the chef's recipe with multigrain or regular bread ₹575 and the cheese & tomato sandwich with salad and fries ₹545. A bottle of Perrier went well with it. This was a gourmet lunch, a word we don't often use in India. The service was above expectations, also unusual for India. Indique offers a gourmet lunch with excellent service. Highly recommended.

I liked the ambiance of the place, but for that we have to climb upto 3 floors to have this fort view dining place. The hospitality was really nice too. I loved sitting where we can see fort and the view of the city while dining and feel the breeze under the open sky. I wish I would have visited the place in winters. I would suggest you to try Laal mass it is but spicy but I really liked it and try Gaate too. It's a famous Rajasthani dish. The mango strawberry crush will be perfect for you to enjoy with the dinner.

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Jodhpur. We went there for dinner along with my parents and had a good time. The view of Meharangadh fort from the rooftop dining area was spectacular. Food was outstanding and so were the staff. When we mentioned that my parents were particularly hungry after a full day's walk, they wasted no time in sending complimentary soups so as to not keep them waiting for the items that we ordered. That was a sweet gesture. The only thing that dented our experience slightly was the occasional smell of urine from the street. This was not the restaurant's fault at all. I felt that Jodhpur was a major let down by the local government when it came to sanitation despite being home to some of the most magnificent monuments in India.

Indique restaurant comes under Pal Haveli, one of good hotel properties in Old city and near ghantaghar. It's a rooftop restaurant with Mehrangarh Fort view. It's only North indian cuisine restaurant with all limited options It's again a famous restaurant so you will ofcourse find waiting. We ordered chicken lababdar, Hara bhara kebab and kadhai paneer with Laccha Paratha and cheese naan Food was delicious, no regrets. Cheese naan was lovely. I never had such delicious and soft naan which melted in mouth Kudos to ched n team. Do visit this place

Had a great lunch here, the food is awesome. The mutton prep is amazing, would suggest to eat it last if having veg also as it will completely overshadow the veg food. The service staff are great and they speak english also. Good place for tourist to dine out here.

Lovely food and stunning views of the fort and all the city. Lots of food options and what we had was really good quality. The rice and naan bread portion size could have been bigger. Beer was also good alongside fantastic service. Would definitely recommend!

The only good thing about this place is its ambience. Chicken pieces in the "butter chicken" were undercooked, lemon coriander soup was too watery, and the washroom was dirty. Chicken Tikka was good and highly recommended.
Meghana Potta
Beautiful view of the majestic Meharangarh fort from Indique’s rooftop seating in the evening made our trip! The food was pretty good as well but could have done with more menu options.

A good place right in the middle of old Jodhpur city and in the foothills of Mehrangarh fort and providing stunning views of the fort but definitely overhyped for its food which was definitely medicore (not bad but nothing to write home about).<br/><br/>Would have rated four stars but had a really dirty washroom which was a big turn off and we had to leave the dinner mid way due to this. Should take care of these basic hygiene especially considering that its in the premises of a hotel.
Rajkumari Shekhawat
Beautiful place gives an royal experience of the blue city (Jodhpur) and one of the best places for eating good and hygienic food in Jodhpur

Crap is the word! They are cheating foreigners tourists in the name of Indian Food. Third class Service, Food, Rude Staff.<br/><br/>Will start right from the word go. Was asked to wait for an hour and when we came up, found at least 4-5 tables empty. Soups - Chicken Hot and Sour and Lemon Coriander was utter tasteless. Not hot and no side sauces served.<br/>Veg platter was the best - Mushrooms were undercooked, paneer tikka was burnt, hara bhara kebab was like paneer fried.<br/>Chilli Chicken was chewy to the core.<br/>Butter roti was not even properly cooked. <br/>Waiters were only busy serving firangs to get high tips. <br/>Above all, you had to convince them to serve water. <br/><br/>GST 18% in the garb that they have room as well. Dont waste your money people.

Must visit when in Jodhpur. The view of lighted meherangadh and click tower while having dinner isn't worth a miss. We ordered veg tikka platter, onion jeera rice, dal tadka, french fries and curd for a group of 4adults and 1 child. The food was very tasty. But, the portion sizes are huge (4 each of seekh kabab, hara bhara kebab, paneer and mushroom tikka in the platter) so be careful of over ordering.<br/>Couple of points to note- book in advance otherwise u won't get a place to sit. The service can be slow as the place is fully packed even on weekdays. Wait and enjoy the ambience, however, the fort is lit up only till 9pm, so make sure to go early for a lit view.<br/>Overall a place with a visit definitely when in Jodhpur

With great difficulty we found out the best place to have Laal Maas.Uknown to us that we had to pre book(as told by the manager there that people booked 6months in advnce)we could not get a place to sit, inspite of thre being 2big tables apparently reserved for big group.Hence we had to leave and look for another location.

Pal Haveli is one among the many old heritage havelis in Jodhpur converted for commercialization with hotel and restaurant. After all Jodhpur was and is all about heritage and history.<br/><br/>The place is beautiful and it has a restaurant named Indique and thats the roof-top. From the very top you can see the Mehrangarh Fort in its full glory. At night it looks like in gold. What an amazing sight it is. You can also see the Ghanta Ghar/Clock Tower too.<br/><br/>We had kids with us so we choose the inner seating so that if at all they run around they would be indoors. First the manager was reluctant to give us inner seating but upon insisting he gave us the seats.<br/><br/>We ordered north indian food. Dal, paneer, mixed sabji, masala papad, roasted papad, roti, naan and a mixed platter starter. Starters came a but late but then everything else was coming fast enough. The food was great and even the service was good. We liked our food and time spent here.<br/><br/>Now coming to the part of which I am still angry about. The reputations are built in years and crushed in seconds. Seems they behave like seasons. Just because there is incoming of too many foreign tourists you won't allow Indians in the top most roof top is the most hateful thing you can do. Why wouldn't you give us the table even after it being empty. As we entered (10.10.2019) we asked for a table upstairs on the top most roof top but were straight off denied saying they were reserved. We were there for one and a half hours and we went upstairs 3 times. One at the very start after our seating indoors. Then in between and then while leaving. On all our 3 checking we see that 4 tables including one big table were empty all the time. It just was just reserved tagged all time. We left at 10.15 pm and according to zomato and google it was supposed to close at 11.00 pm. Now were they waiting for the Prime Minister to come to them at this hour. I am still trying to understand why they denied us. This is the first time ever I felt like shit. I was with family and friends or else I would have taken each one there to task. This is simply not acceptable.<br/><br/>This has become a norm. We Indians do not love each other in our own country. Things and places are good but we people make them bad. Just like the manager of the restaurant here at Pal Haveli. I wonder what mindset he was in he simply killed the good vibes we had upon entering the property. It is because of people like him things and places get a bad name.<br/><br/>Anyways for once to visit the haveli and its aura it is a must visit. Also for the food one can visit. When in Jodhpur you should visit this.

A must visit place for every tourist who is visiting Jodhpur (especially couples).<br/><br/>It is a lovely place close to Ghantaghar (within Pal Haveli) from where you can have view of Mehrangadh fort, Umaid Bhawan palace and Ghantaghar.<br/><br/>We ordered few drinks and north Indian food.<br/><br/>Dishes Ordered: Chicken lababdar, Roti, Electric drink<br/><br/>The food was well cooked and had excellent spices. The drink could definitely be improved upon a bit but it suited the weather.<br/><br/>Overall, it was a great experience and not very hard on the pocket as well (400 for two)<br/><br/>P.S. Call the place to book a seat in advance. It can get crowded as a lot of foreigners visit this place as well.<br/><br/>P.P.S Ask them for the seating on top most roof to fully consume the breath taking view.

This place has amazing view! One side Mehrangarh fort, one side clock tower and Gulab Sagar on another. And candle light dinner on rooftop. Dreamy!! The service was good too. Although I felt the food was average. The laal maas could have been better cooked.
Megha
One of the best places in Jodhpur. Awesome view from rooftop and lovely ambience. You will simply love it. Egg Biryani was not on menu bt on request they made it. The food and the drinks both were lovely. Of course it’s a costly place but it’s worth it as tourists
Harsha Rajeev
Love the place for the view! The rooftop has a great ambience. A personal favourite for drinks and some bites. The staff is amazingly polite.

Food: Ordered a lal maas to go with garlic naan. The food was served hot as I like it. However, the flavours are super average and nothing the place is hyped of. Curry had a lot of chopped onion which I don’t think goes very well for lal maas. Meat was though cooked nicely.<br/><br/>Service: Average. The menu recommendations are though very clear but dint match my expectation.<br/><br/>Ambience: The place overlooks a lake which is extremely beautiful. Placed in a haveli and very central to tourist attractions.

First I talk about the which I do not like<br/><br/>"The behavior of staff and the food"<br/><br/>Now the Best part is- The rooftop view and Ambience💯 I like the Most😍<br/><br/>From the rooftop 4 most visited place of Jodhpur we can seen...<br/><br/>Check the post #the mad ambience..<br/><br/>Overall for the view and ambience rating is 💯<br/><br/>Food is not up to the mark👎

Celebrated my birthday eve there. Only reason to go there was the view and indeed it was mesmerising. Had booked table two days prior so that I can get fort view table and yes they provided the same. One of the best places in town with amazing ambience and option for alcohol. Tried their veg lemon & coriander soup, veg platter & red wine. Veg platter was so heavy that I couldn’t try main course! But a bit high end & service was kind of slow. Must try place in Jodhpur.

A beautiful place to have dinner at. The ambience is lovely, the crowd always cheerful and the staff very kind. The view to the fort is breathtaking and the food was oh so delightful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting jodhpur. Would love coming back here again.
Ashwini Deshpande
The restaurant has a good view and blah blah but what struck me is the biased attitude. We went on a dry day and all non Indians were served alcohol while Indians were flatly refused. If the restaurant has a dry day then it should be for all or no one at all. It's a shame that they are being preachy about something n not following it completely and being nothing but a money-minded entity!
Darpan Bhuyan
Nice place with a great view overlooking the fort. The food is very nice, especially the Lal maas. Service left nothing to complain as the staff was very courteous and attended to my every need. A must visit if you're in jodhpur for a nice trifecta of good food, good service and good ambience.

Very nice and cozy place with awesome food and view! My husband and I enjoyed every moment of being here. There was a nice breeze. The staff is courteous and polite.<br/>We tried hara bhara kabab and Ceaser salad, both were really good. We ordered Sin Gin which was average. Then we ordered Sangria which was really good.<br/>I would highly recommend Indique to everyone!

I like it very much and i will always order from here and i also tell my frnds about this restaurant and tell to my family members also and i will visit it all my time.
Chaitanya Kamboj
The description given does not match the service provided at the restaurant. The staff is biased towards foreign customers and it felt like a discrimination being done to us.
Siddhant Gupta
I was really impressed by the reviews here and the kind of promotions that the restaurant had done. So decided to go there with my friends on a recent trip to Jodhpur. However, I was deeply disappointed by the kind of food served to me. It was stale. When I complained to the staff, they acted rudely and refused to take any actions and my evening was spoilt. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Located inside a beautiful haveli, this is one place in Jodhpur is for a fine dine. The roof top restaurant has got everything, a bar, Inside seating, beautiful decor and a good view. An ideal place for a sunny day in winters and an evening in summers.<br/><br/>Staff is well dressed and quiet helpful. Service is quick and easy.<br/><br/>The menu here too offers a lot, specially the drinks section.<br/><br/>We tried Panner Tikka, for drinks we took Green Apple Sode and Peach Cola Fizz. Everything was well prepared and tasted really well. We really likes the drinks here, very refreshing and different.<br/><br/>We wanted to try more but we were so full and were not willing to miss a visit to this place. Altogether an amazing place with prices in the higher side, given the ambience, good quality and service, it's worth it.<br/><br/>
Vanshay Kapoor
Big disappointment, the place has nothing to offer apart from stale, tasteless meals and rude staff. Just overpriced for no reason, kindly give it a miss if you don’t intend to waste your money and time. The restaurant staff needs a big time realisation on hospitality and courteous behaviour. Just living on its old earned name.

Great location firstly .. overlooking the Mehrangarh fort. The food was definitely very good here ..the laal maas is a must have dish here ☺️

I climbed up three(four, can't remember) flight of stairs to reach the rooftop restaurant only to discover to my slight amusment that I was the only guest on a Monday afternoon. It was extremely windy and my timid self decided to sit Indoors. Service is tricky when you are the only person dinning. I was glad that at no point was it overbearing. The staff was attentive but respected my personal space. My seating accorded a beautiful view of the Gulaabsagaar lake and with a cup of chai, I started flipping through the menu to look for something sumptuous. I ended up with the thali. Now, when it arrived, I was overwhelmed with the sheer amount of food!<br/><br/>A lot of it was standard North Indian fare, nothing endemic on the plate. It wasn't anything extraordinary, nothing to write home about. The only novelty being that the thali is served in a silver platter.<br/><br/>After I finished or rather sent back half of it(guilty), the server requested to pen down my comments which was a nice touch.<br/><br/>I would only go back for the chai and the view of the lake from the indoor sitting area.

Location is very good. One can enjoy the scenic view of mehrangarh fort along with having dinner. But taste of food won't appeal you if u are looking for great taste
Piyali Pal
The place is beautiful. Its amidst the Sadar Bazaar. Part of a 19th century Haveli called the Pal Haveli. It offers a spell binding view of the Mehrangarh fort from the roof top. The food is really and people serve with a big smile.

Too many recommendations and through google search this place was on top to visit near ghanta ghar Pal Haveli.<br/>It is nive heritage reataurant with Indoor and outdoor sitting arrangement. Inside is beautiful but eve time it is best to sit outdoor with great view of fort with lighting.<br/><br/>Classy one, perfect for a clam dinner with awesome view.<br/><br/>We ordered:<br/>Bloody mary: ok..<br/>Gin sin: That was good.<br/><br/>Overall: Awesome view and classy restaurant<br/>
Divyangna Parikh
This usually tops the recommendations list for Jodhpur.<br/>With a beautiful view of the mehrangadh fort on one side and the colorful crowded ghanta ghar on the other, this rooftop restaurant is in Pal Haveli next to Gulab Sagar lake.<br/>With a decent bar, steep prices and a very limited menu, it's worth the view.<br/>It would be a treat for the foreigners.<br/><br/>Loved the Biryani. Which was more towards a veggie pulao but liked it nonetheless.<br/><br/>Lacchha Paratha and the jalfrazi subzi was regular.<br/><br/>The mocktails were nice, not too diluted. Tried the Capriosca and Gin & Sin.
Mandrita Roy
Heritage restaurant with good food and a beautiful view.<br/>We had Lal Maas with butter naan. Had expected the gravy to be thicker and more spicy but it was pretty good, the meat was well cooked and soft to eat.

Very poor service.... it’s a rooftop restaurant with view of gulabsagar lake, fort n clock tower... that’s the only plus thing.... but they blv in catering to foreigners only... food is ok... staff is unavailable for normal Indians even on weekdays... forget weekends.... didn’t expect this from a place located in Jodhpur whr ppl r very polite n friendly...

Nice restaurant with a great view and ambience. Food was yummy with varied options. Can choose to sit inside as well, though the outdoor setting is lovely and recommended in case the weather permits. Located near the ghanta ghar, it is easily accessible.

The view was amazing. Corn and spinach cheese was delicious. The service was slow but the view made it worth it. Must visit place for all the tourist.
Sourabh Jain
ambience is great as there is a lake on one side and fort on other which looks great but food is not so great and cost is very much according to quality of food they serve...there are many other restaurants which provide equal quality and are lot cheaper..in the end its about the food for me
Ushasi Usd De
This place has a very decorative look, however the behaviour of the staffs for their Indian customer is opposite, the way they talk and greet u, Is that they are doing utmost favour on you. I did not have food over here so will not comment on that. However being first time visitor and getting such behaviour from the staffs is horrendous. I have visited many heritage restaurants and hotels with much better ratings in jodhpur but this is has given me a worst memory to remember for life. They are very courteous with their foreign guests.

Pal haveli is a lovely place to enjoy a fine evening with your friends or loved ones. The service is amazing, the ambiance and the view of clocktower and mehranghar is cherry on top. As for the food , I promise you'll want to go there again and again. I have attached pics of veg, biryani and hara bhara kebab I loved every bite. Tho brownie can do better. Else everything was amazing. Will go back again. 💜

Located inside Pal Haveli, a beautiful heritage hostel in Jodhpur, Indique is a rooftop restaurant with the perfect view of the Mehrangarh fort.<br/><br/>While the food makes less noise, the ambience sure does some talking.<br/>The people are hospitable and gave us a comfortable table inspite of a packed house.<br/>One side gives you a view of the gulab sagar lake while the other side displays a very beautifully lit up mehrangarh fort.<br/>Although mind you,the fort is lit up only till 9.30 pm.<br/>It is a good idea to visit here for early dinner with prior reservations.<br/><br/>I loved the malai kofta with butter garlic naan i ordered.<br/><br/>Would love to return when i am back to Jodhpur.

Had dinner at this place overlooking the Mehrangarh fort, and it was lovely... After so many days of junk food the yellow dal and rice was perfect.. Rahul Singh captain was extremely courteous and had a good conversation :) :) although the food selection and variety was not great but don't mind visiting the place again..

Nice view of Mehrangarh fort in the backdrop with it's lights. Food is just ok and the place is jam packed. Recommend reservation if you want to visit. Don't go there expecting tasty food
Kiriti Kanjilal
The best food I ate at my short stay in Jodhpur. All the great traditional food like Laal Maans are available here and they are very tasty. If I could have only one meal in Jopdhpur it would be here. Phenomenal ambiance as well.
Prakriti Khanijou
Has been a horrible experience. Even though the food is just okay, the staff spoilt the entire experience because of their slow service and indifferent behviour. They were badly behaved to the point of being obnoxious and rude. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Their visitor’s book contains our detailed account of the ordeal we went through ( i’m sure they would’ve torn off that page by now though).

This Restaurant is in the lovely Pal Haveli.<br/>Loved the ambiance, amazing food, good service. Had an Awesome candle light dinner with family. Having the Beautiful Mehrangarh Fort as the backdrop was visually Stunning.<br/>Thanks to Mr Ajay to give us a table without reservation. We waited for half an hour but we got a lovely rooftop table.<br/>Overall a Lovely experience and was Happy to Dine here. Keep up the Good Efforts Team Indiqie!👍👏<br/>Hope to be back soon!!🤩💕<br/>

Breathtaking view, the kind of ambiance they create with  candles and dim lighting is very thoughtful. The menu is well thought out and they have put in something for everyone. Whatever they served to us was very delicious. The staff was most courteous and smiling. One side of the hotel has a view of the Clock Tower. The topmost level has a view of Mehrangarh Fort. From the indoor restaurant, you can see Gulab sagar. <br/>It is a must must visit when in Jodhpur and is the best restaurant in that area with such a magnificent view.

Stunning view of Mehrangarh Fort from this place! The food here is great. We had Lal Maans, Gatte Ki Sabzi, Biryani. They were all really good! Must visit when you are in Jodhpur. 😁 Great ambience and service.
Saumil Gahlawat
The fort view is the best you can get over a meal. The meal in itself is ordinary. We went for a dinner date, the fort looked captivating in the moon light. Coming to the food Gatta curry was good, Chilli Chicken was bland, mocktails were nice.<br/>My rating- Feast(for your eyes only)worthy
Annant Baheti
one of the legendary outlets of jodhpur, ambinece is decent but the view of mehrangarh fort compensates for every discomfort. indian food is a must try here. service is good. they will greet you with "khamma ghani" so yeah they are traditional and very welcoming. i had garlic naan, kebab platter , dal makhani, paneer butter masala.
Tapan Sodhi
Nothing beats the view... Amazingly romantic at night, service was decent staff was polite<br/>Had the non veg thali... Spicy but tasty<br/>Must go when in jodhpur

This place was suggested by one of friend..It is located in the old Jodhpur city, so one had to drive through the traffic and reach..The ambience is amazing, the place overlooks gulab sagar lake, which offers an amazing view..They had candles on the table, which offered an amazing view..Staff, was more than courteous, very responsive and polite... However, one thing that requires a major upgrade is their menu..They need to sit down and think about the menu and definitely increase the choices of the food and liquor that one can have... Definitely recommended...

Indique is a rooftop restaurant intelligently tucked in an old haveli named as "Pal Haveli", situated just beside the old town market. Restaurant can be approached by lift conveniently or by stairs, it’s completely up to you. It is in the close vicinity to all the city’s famous monuments be it the gigantic "Mehrangarh fort", or “Clock tower" or the famous old market for the traditional rajasthani shopping. One should definitely pay them a visit in the evening after sunset since only then you will be able to soak in the mesmerizing view of this beautiful city with candle light dinner voila. But do make sure to grab a place early in the evening before 7:30 as only then you will be able to view magnificent beauty of fort in fort lights which generally get switched by that time. Also it might be hard for you to get a place there as people have no rush of leaving this place soon (Yupp that includes me as well, I think I was settled there for 3 hour or might be more than that who knows :P). The surprising fact is that despite of having limited seating capacity no one from the restaurant crew will make you hurry or gulp down your food. Overall I would say intelligent choice of the owner to open a restaurant there since the city itself create a magical ambience, and they utilized this fact very well. This place isn’t being boarded by some extra ambience related efforts apart from adding some lush green plants, nice dim light at the floor around the border walls, candle lights added to the tables and an open bar with a rajasthani carabina touch to it. Musssssssssssstttttttttttttt visit place.<br/>After talking a lot about the look and feel about the place let’s come to the food that they offer. One can choose from continental and north indian dishes, only bummer for us was that they have very few things to eat for veg lovers, yaaa yaa all non veg lovers good news for you. So from quite a few dishes as we chose to order mix platter (veg.) as an appetizer and vegetable au gratin as a main-course.<br/>Mix platter (veg.) - Platter was having paneer tikka, hara bhara kabab, stuffed mushroom and galouti kebabs accompanied with salad. My taste buds still remember the taste mind blowing, all dishes served were cooked, flavored to perfection. Paneer tikka was properly marinated seasoned and grilled, galouti and hara bhara kababs were moist, soft, yet the crunch was not missing. Stuffed mushroom were having ample filling, soused and cooked well.<br/>Vegetable au gratin- We were a bit dicey before ordering this as we haven’t expected that rajasthani type of restaurant can prepare this. Creamy sauce was soooo yum, wasn’t having even a single lump of flour which you can figure out easily if it would have been made by some ordinary cook, vegetables were cooked properly however it could be top notch iffff before baking it was sprinkled with the cheese on top and then baked as it was missing the USP of the dish that lightly browned cheese melts. Taste wise we relished the whole meal, however presentation could be improved.<br/>Staff was well dressed with turban and all, well spoken, however the service was pretttyyyy bad as we have to call them quite a few times to take order and then we waited a lot for our meal to be set. If the service was not amiss, i would have given them five out of five, so I would definitely suggest them to improve it and make their staff a bit attentive.

Except for a terrific night view, this restaurant really offers nothing even half decent. For one thing, it offers no parking and asks you to park your car right where a 'No Parking' sign was hung up. The food was bad and the service was slower than the pace of a snail. And the worst part? Without informing me, they cut a tip of 200 from my card. Reason to go: For the view of Mehrangarh Fort in the night.<br/><br/>Reason to not go: It's a shitty place, and if you don't care about the view, don't go. Not worth it.

Have given one star only because of the ambience, the service is bad(bad is an understatement); the staff discriminates on the basis of skin colour, the foreigners are given better service (quicker and more friendly)...the food is not authentic or nice at all, just like any other small north Indian restaurant...the cost is not justified, avoid this place if possible...if you are not an Indian then the service will be great and you won't understand the difference 8n the quality of food

Indique has an old world charm, housed in the wonderful Pal Haveli close to the Clock tower. The restaurant is approached by lift which is surprisingly convenient. There is no hurry and you can sit for hours taking in the beauty of the place, but seating is limited in the topmost area as it provides the best view. The waiters are attentive and food is beyond compare. One should try the Non Veg Thali, so much stuff that one thali is sufficient for 2 adults. Taste and service is top notch, in particular the Lal Maas. <br/>The best thing is the view of the Fort once the lights are switched on. Half the restaurant faces the Clock tower which too looks mesmerizing after sun down. All in all a must visit place. However one must be early to get the choicest of seats. There is an indoor section for those who like it. During the evening they have arrangements for cultural programme. Such is the beauty of this place that I did two photofeatures, one on the waiters and the other on the nightlife. Prices are a little on the higher side but when you get more than your moneys worth in terms of taste and ambiance, you cannot complain.

One of my favourites in Jodhpur... Love the ambience at night in the rooftop area.. food is good though there is scope for improvement..price is affordable for the ambience and portion size.. keep in mind while ordering that the portion sizes are big..so prevent over-ordering food.
