๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‘‘ If you're looking for a royal experience in Jodhpur, Hanwant Mahal is the place to be! This stunning palace-turned-hotel has everything you need for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist you with anything you need. The food is delicious and offers a wide variety of local and international dishes. But what really sets Hanwant Mahal apart is its breathtaking architecture and rich history. Every corner of the palace tells a story and transports you back in time to the era of the Rajputs. Whether you're lounging in the courtyard, exploring the gardens, or admiring the intricate details of the interiors, you'll feel like a true maharaja or maharani. Overall, I highly recommend Hanwant Mahal to anyone visiting Jodhpur. It's a true gem that combines tradition and luxury in the most beautiful way. ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

I am happy to have stayed at this hotel for a week. I have to say he was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and always made sure my stay was a pleasant one. The room was spacious, well maintained and had a beautiful view of the city. The hotel facilities were also impressive, especially the state-of-the-art fitness center. But what really impressed me was the meal. Every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was simply delicious with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We also liked the central location of the hotel which was convenient for exploring the city. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay with great facilities and excellent service.

The restaurant was located in a stand alone area, but it was nice. We ordered a Thaan-E-Amber. It was a set of traditional thali come with a dessert. Overall food was good, but a strawberry milkshake was too sweet and not cold.

I experienced a delicious main course and caring staff I visited for lunch with a friend. We were delighted by the authentic main course. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive. Overall, I enjoyed our experience. They did not take much time to make the table ready, the main course was good, the staff was caring. Iโ€™d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.

Its a very nice and elegant place to spend time with your loved ones. They offer variety of food options. The interiors are very antiques. They have rooftop restaurant as well as interiors restaurants giving view of umed bhaawan palace on one side and spectacular view of mehrangarh fort on other side. Also live local folk music is available including a well stocked bar. Staff if very well mannered and truely professional. Place is bit expensive but worth paying for. Overall a perfect place to have a quality time.

The place is tucked in a quiet corner, away from the chaos of the daily life.Although it keeps up to its posh, sophisticated ambience and aura to some extent, it does falter when it comes to service. Our liquor accompiments arrived 15mins after our liquor was served. The 'murgh ke sule' was served dead cold in the centre which was an instant turn off.. the dahi ke kebab however lived up to the expectations and was soft and succulent with mellowed down spices.. the tamatar ka shorba turned out to be more spicy than expected and may not suit palates not accustomed to that amount of heat. Overall, the service and food quality has to be improved if that has to be at par with the ambience.
P.S: we had a live Santoor playing in the background and was quite an experience

Fine dining, great view and at prices which don't burn a huge hole in your pockets! The perfect setting for wine, dine and lookin' fine. Delectable dishes, especially the non-vegetarian preparations.
A must-visit for anyone and everyone coming to Jodhpur.
An excellent option for those looking for a place for something-more-than-a-casual-date-night. ;)

First of all, Can you please tell me the secret of your Strawberry Chutney? That yum taste is stuck to my tongue!
The service is more than impressive and somehow portrays โ€œThe Typical Manvaar of Rajasthan.โ€
Do I really need to explain the rooftop ambience which never fails to refresh your mind & mood?
Itโ€™s genuinely a dreamy place to visit!
Suggestion- The Vegetarian starters can be improved in terms of taste. Also, You should add more options in drinks.
Thanks, Willing to visit again really soon for the amazing strawberry chutney. :)

Awesome place to enjoy lovely view of Whole Jodhpur City & Specially Umaid Bhawan. Approach road is pathetic. But, one of the best restaurant in Jodhpur with maharaja feeling & spectacular views from the hill. It has got a Bar too & ambience is awesome. Staff is well dressed & behaved. A life time memorable feeling.

After coming to this place I felt like โ€œ Apun hi Bhagwan haiโ€ well jokes apart, the staff here treats you like a king. The doses prepared are no doubt mouthwatering and delicious. The ambience is the best part, it is so royal that it feels you are on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Must visit if you are in Jodhpur. Only one tip to the people- plz make sure that u have a conveyance as at night no Ola or u we is available

Another heritage eatery situated on the foothill of Umaid Bhawan palace and overlooking the Umaid heritage coony with a dark approach road and unmarked entrance gate. A 2 wheeler customer may not have it easy on that road as I even was scared in my car. But let's get back to the point.

This palace was the resting place post hunting expeditions for the royal family and name after Shri Hanwant Singh Ji, ruler of the princely state of Jodhpur in the 1950's (remember the king portrayed by Manoj Bajpai in movie Zubeida) and father of current Shri Gaj Singh ji
Location is ok and it has both indoor and outdoor parts along with a separate bar area.

Menu is not too huge and will suit the palate of westerners and tourists who would like to experience Rajasthan's royal service and food.
The locals may not like the slightly sweet gravy used in most dishes, but that's more of a personal opinion.
Service is ok, sometimes you may need to wait for the staff to attend to you.
Cutlery used is top quality, giving a sense of royal living.
Many rooms to get good pics.

P.s.- Mahal is too big a term used for this place, much smaller than a palace.

Positive-
1. Lovely little heritage site.
2. Good seating, best is roof top.
3. Good tasting food

Negatives-
1. Dangerous approach road.
2. Unmarked and unmanned entrance on the main road.
3. Place needs to publicise itself a lot for locals to know about it.
Secluded from the hustle of the city yet right in the heart of the city. The place is magical. The aura and heritage it boasts is beyond words. Excellent view of the Umaid bhavan palace. Service and food is excellent.

What a breath taking view of the Umaid Bhawan Palace! Ordered Junglee Maas, Mutton Soola, Kher Sangri and Warki Paratha. The food tasted really good and the service was extremely hospitable. The Hanumant Palace was the hunting retreat of the Raja and is every bit royal and seeped in opulence. Absolutely loved the place.

Ambience: 6/5 (Overlooking Mehrangarhย Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace)
Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
The only thing that I felt missing was good music (they only had 4-5 tracks).

This is a fort and approach road is amidst a jungle type area but worth the drive. Overseeing the Umed Bhavan, open air dining is fun here. Order the thali here and savor the bbest they have. Service speed is s tad slow.

Elegance, Peace & Opulence..thatโ€™s what comes in mind thinking about this place. A perfect setting with a royal view of Ummed Bhawan. Food is average but a must visit place for its splendid view.

Back again here... fav place to enjoy dinner with serenity and royal pinch. You can enjoy the ambiance with the view of royal palace... i love this place for its ambiance and royal touch

First of all, the location of this place is amazing but its difficult to find since the road leading up to it is a kutcha road and neither lit up. So unless you are a local, you may not reach here on your first attempt. Also increasing your difficulty is the fact that it is named something else on Google maps.

The venue is splendid and located just a stone's throw away from Umaid Bhawan Palace. It has 2 dining sections and has a complete royal getup. The rooftop is the best but considering the clear area around it gets quite windy in the evenings. While the lower part is comfy, it also offers Live Classical Music during the tourist season.

The food is traditional Rajasthani and limited options exist but they are all sumptuous.

We went there as a group of 5 and all of us ordered the Yakhni Shorba which was a Mutton broth primarily. For appetisers, we ordered the 'Maans ke Sule' and 'Chicken Malai Kabab'. Both the meat dishes were well spiced and well done. I preferred the Maans ke Sule though.

For main course, we ordered the standard Laal Maans which was a hit since we could taste the authentic Royal Rajasthani flavours. We also ordered the Chicken Makhni or Butter Chicken which was surprisingly not in a red gravy but the taste was just about there.

The service was impeccable but inconsistent. The view was excellent.

Only issue is that since the kitchen is located downstairs, by the time the food is served, it may not be piping hot.

Beautiful decor and interiors but its not value for money ! They really serves tasteless food in the beautiful silver crockery! Its perfect place for getting amazing pics ! But the food here is tasteless

In a really secluded area of the town..this place was quite something!! I would not have probably visited this place if not accompanied by a local. But the view and the food was just gorgeous!!! One can see umaid bhavan in the background on their rooftop and is truly beautiful. Their mutton ke sule.. Were mouth watering and literally melted in my mouth. We repeated our order as we could not resist them!! Delicious!!!

Sub standard food. Had heard a lot about this place. Hair in my mutton. Had only 1 choice for wine. Average if you ask me. Go for the setting, and old world charm.

One of the best fine dinning restaurants in Jodhpur.ย
1) Location - perfect. I'd recommend their roof top area - what an experience to have your food with Umed Palace on one side, and Runway on the other. 5/5 for the location.ย
2) Ambiance - perfect for a fine dining restaurants. I've been to this place 4-5 times but haven't seen to much of a crowd. A perfect ambiance if you do not want a lot of people around you. Even the tables are placed at a good distance. Both the roof top seating and hall are perfectly designed to give a royal feeling to the "Mahal".
- Then you have live music on the rooftop - I heard a live jal-tarang performance for the first time in my life - a WOW experience
3) Food - 5/5. try the traditional Rajasthani / Jodhpur food here. Laal Maas.
4) Prices - since this is a fine dinning restaurant, the prices are meant to be on the higher side. But the experience you get is definitely worth the price.

One of my favorite places to dine in Jodhpur. Perfect for candle light dinner, the rooftop of Hanwant Mahal has spectacular view of the legendary Umaid Bhawan Palace. The service, delicious food and the surreal view will definitely make your evening memorable with the special ones. The place also has live Rajasthani folk music in the winter season.

Known for its candle light dinner settings and indian cuisine lacking a bit in their service standards. But perfect ambience for your dinner date with lit up umaid bhawan beside you.
