You'll get surprisingly good omelets for a ridiculously low price at this simple food stand, located as you exit the gate to the north side of the clock tower. You'll sit on a wobbly stool in front of the stove where Vicky cooks and you'll have a great time chatting with him while he makes your omelet. Speak Italian or Japanese? No problem -- Vicky speaks five languages fluently. I recommend the masala cheese veg omelet, but there are others on the menu, as well as french toast, as well as chai and assorted drinks. You'll likely be joined by a few other tourists as well as a good number of locals -- all drawn to the place by Vicky's friendly manner as well as the good food.
