Review Jodhana Dining Jodhpur - Jodhpur

Very nice place to enjoy local music in a peaceful and typical atmosphere. The people are very friendly. Do not hesitate to practice your French with the owner, who will be more than happy to give you proper recommendations for your stay and share his passion of Michel Delpeche ! The dinner was excellent, probably the best and most diverse veg food we had so far !

Stepped into Jhankar Haveli and was instantly captivated by the inviting ambiance – a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. The culinary experience was a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish a masterpiece. However, what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service by Radha. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality added a personal touch, making the dining experience memorable. But one thing that pissed me off was that fake "Che Guevara" cap person doesn't' know if he is the manager or a steward he doesn't have a sense to talk to customers and attitude is so bad, we ordered a wine bottle he got us in glasses and when we said that we need the bottle he started arguing that its same that you take bottle or in glass. And when we insisted him to get a bottle for us, then he said that leftovers in the bottle you can't take with yourself, you have to finish the bottle here only. Giving two stars for service just because of this person.

We had a lovely dinner. Staff was nice and music entertainment with local band was a nice touch. Radha took great care of us and also gave us some tips on sightseeing at our next destination.

Didn’t stay here but ate at the restaurant after a local recommended it. The cashew curry is to die for. They had live music which was amazing. The staff spoke great English and the service was quite fast. For Indian standards it’s a bit pricey.

Worth the price, highlight are their rooms which give you royal Rajasthani feel. Food was good too along with friendly staff. Located within old city with Clock tower at walking distance

I stayed here one night. Spacious room, spacious bathroom, plenty of tables to set things down, balcony with partial fort view. Currently the hotel is building the rooms out. It appeared 3 or so rooms are operational. 1 had a large soaking bathtub. There was construction noise during the day but it wasn’t too intrusive. The important part for me was quiet at night, and you will definitely get this right now in low season, low capacity. I do not factor the inconvenience of honking from the street or ants or low water pressure as these are probably at every hotel in the area, luxury ones too. Staff was extremely accommodating.

I think JHANKAR HAVELI offered me incredibly memorable experiences in Jodhpur. Honestly, I haven't encountered a property that is as excellent and luxurious as this one. During my stay, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious. It was truly a fantastic experience in Jodhpur. Highly recommended!

(a) Overview : Came across this hidden gem while strolling through the bye lanes of the majestic blue city. The approach was not that great with tiny lanes having dirty drains flowing through them. (b) Ambience : Seemed nice at the entry, the lighting was dim. The seating caught my attention, with something somewhat similar to bamboo utilised in making the seats. There are four floors and there is seating inside as well as outside. We however, chose to sit outside and eat. The walls are rock solid, it was slightly difficult climbing up to the roof top. It was however worth the climb, we witnessed the beautifully lit up Mehrangarh fort from the rooftop which was a site to treasure. (c) Food and Service : Pondered over ordering a vegetarian penny pasta, which was served steaming hot. The portion was generous for two of us who are both running enthusiasts , we relished the Penny pasta which had the optimum amount of cheese in it unlike the one i had savoured at Jaisalmer a few days back which was cumbersome to eat. (d) Service : Prompt, polite, the waitress was courteous to our order and explained in brief what a penny pasta is like. The manager too was polite and welcoming to us. (e) Recommendations : Would recommend during a visit to Jodhpur. Reasonable, does not pinch a hole in the pocket. It’s ambience is lovely, the property is well looked after. A little contribution from our side to a bygone era. Compliments to the managerial team , chefs , waiters, housekeepers.

The location and rooms are nice. They can add basic amenities like kettle and coffee. There could be near by sounds as the hotel is in the middle of old area
