Review Golden Wok - Kalyan

The Ambience and Service is at its best. Watchman opens the doors of the car for us, might improve here for Valet parking. There are 2 floors, Ground floor and First floor. For family it was first floor,The ambience was great! Will need more lights to the first hall, second Hall was lit better. Seats were comfortable. The staff was very polite and the easy to locate. We received our order quickly, Hardly 5-10 mins of waiting. Napkins were provided for the each customer. Dish suggestions were on point. I couldn't figure out whether the physically disabled people were able to get there because I couldn't found a lift. Washroom were unisex and clean. Rest all was good, we enjoyed the food and environment around it. Might add the Fish Tank later for better ambience. Birthdays can be celebrated very well here with all the decorations and birthday theme was played on time with Waiters and manager joining the moment. I hope you guys would enjoy it too. The place is totally worth it.

The food is very good, The hotel is very nice if you plan go on working days, But if you go there on Saturday Sunday then you experience a very pathetic service.

It was leap year day, one of the spl day that comes once in 4 year. So our friends bday too. So, we decided to visit this place.<br/>Ambience of this place is good. Even staff is too friendly. <br/>We ordered lemon pepper soup, chicken korba soup, paneer satay, paneer stick, chicken roast, veg and non veg chopper rice.<br/>Lemon pepper soup was good and chicken korba soup was proper in taste.<br/>Starter veg were normal spicy. <br/>Chicken roast was too crispy and juicy.<br/>Chopper rice is similar to pot rice. So if you like pot rice then you will definitely love this too.<br/>With food we ordered virgin mojito, cranberry juice and cranberry brezzers.<br/>I would recommend to give a try for cranberry juice. It is too good.<br/>It was worthy.

We visited this place for dinner. The food was very spicy. The cocktail umbrellas were made out of gift wrap and looked very cheap. The straws were too short for the tallbcocktail glasses and could not reach to the bottom 1/3rd portion of the drink. Also, when we asked them for our leftover food to pack, they actually took some food out of it which is unacceptable. Overall, definitely not worth the price. There are other much better and trustworthy restaurants in Kalyan for this price range.

Nice preparations. The food quality is good! The boondy tangy appetizer they serve at start is what I found a nice gesture. I liked the lemon coriander soup. Varieties of starters is also good. They have some different combinations of sabzis which would one love.And they have a big size in butter naan that definitely one should not miss!

Every thing was good paneer was soft yummy but the dil tukdi i dindt find it tasty at all and the fries were crunchy best one

Ordered Paneer khurchan and tandoori roti via ZOMATO yesterday need to mention there was nothing worth INR 330 in paneer khurchan which was bland in taste and tomatoes used were either stale or rotten,neither was tandoori roti without butter for each costing INR 25 was justified for quality. I felt duped and cheated by ordering the food from the Golden Wok.

Nice hotel . With good food . We ordered manchow soup masala papad pineaplle custard sabzi roti desert. In starter we ordered noodles pack everything was yummm.

The service here is prompt, and the servers always in attention to look after your needs. The food is good in taste, although the rates are slightly expensive. The quantity is good and fills you up pretty quickly. We ordered chicken manchow soup, chicken clear soup, chicken hot chilly, butter chicken and naan and paneer paratha. The soup was a bit bland, the chilly could have been less sweet and more spicy. The butter chicken was great and the naan was soft. The paneer paratha too was tasty.

This is a typical family restaurant situated in Kalyan, now the ambience is okay and service was good. We ordered potato cheese roll, fish fingers for starters , along with veg kolhapuri along with biryani and kulchas. Food was nothing great but just okay. Ordered for Khumb Makai Paneer as home delivery. The corn in the gravy was really dry and not fresh at all. It was definitely frozen and a few days/ week old ( I mean the corn, not the gravy). Obviously, the gravy didn't quite stand out because the star ingredient had expired and also because the chef forgot to cook the mushrooms.

Ambience is pretty good ... we ordered white tandoori which was veryy tasty and garnished wih cheese 😍 we ordered maratha chicken kebab which was tangy flavouqred bit spicy and was super tasty .. Sweet corn chicken soup was ofcourse a bit sweet but the chicken in that was tender and amazing .. we even ordered dabba gosht which was a bit sour but was very good .. and the best part of the meal was chicken hyderabadi biryani ..<br/>Its a good place and even drinks are available .must visit

The quality of the restaurant is fast deteriorating. On a dinner here the tandoori mushrooms were too salty and when mentioned the staff clearly was not concerned. The mutton was also below average.

The restaurant welcomes you with complimentary Mint juice. The ambience is simple and the place is hygienic, spacious and cozy. Both quantity and quality are value for money. Food is scrumptious and well presented. Never fail to order Naram Dil Kebab (its like little pieces of heaven in your mouth), Chicken Oriental (loaded with cheesy filling and at the same time it's a bit spicy) and Kiwi Mocktail. A big Thumbs👍🏼 up to this place. I just can't resist coming here for delicious food. Golden wok never disappoints!

This place is amazing, the ambience, the service and the food. Tried the chicken bomb kebab and it turned out to be yum. Paneer oriental for veg is a must try and even the garlic naan was the best I ever had. Golden Wok never disappoints!

Just one word- 'disappointing'. The chef is the only saving grace of this restaurant. The food is good to taste and pretty quick to reach the table. The staff here is highly untrained. They have got no clue as how to interact or take in a booking. There were mosquitoes dancing inside the air conditioned hall and bit us many times while we were trying to eat the food. Mix up in the order was taken lightly and was regarded as a joke. The worst was for the last. The desert - brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was such a shame. A simple desert ,was ruined and tarred. The brownie was dry, cold and got burned because the hot plate was over heated. Have eaten it at so many places ,but it was never this bad. The weirdest part was when the waiter just picked up my discarded napkin and used it as the placemat for the hot desert. <br/>PS: Faraway plus too disappointed with the kind of service provided in an ambience so good.

The chinese food is very good but otherwise the food is average. Having said that, its worth a couple of visits! The ambience is not all that bad either.

Hi guys...visited golden wok today....<br/>Ambience good...with dim lighting,good cooling,decent interior....ordered veg Thai rice..Hakka noodles and manchow soup.. Taste was good...pricing slightly upper side.. Have been to this place a few times and every time its a different experience. No consistency in food taste, service. Its fine dine so peg system in liquor service. It is expensive for its locality. It was full on a sat night so we shared a long sofa with other fellow diners. Its the only fine dine restaurant left out not falling under 500m radius from highway. Ordered Dark rum (160 for 60ml) in drinks and in food, chicken chooza and chicken schezwan noodles. Both food preparations were good. Only thing is its very expensive.<br/>Bill was 2720/-

Not much to say. Family section looks a lot dull and shady. Food, doesn't even attempts to reach our expectation. Ended up with a thought 'why did we try this place'. Staff were having some kind of fight, thus the service. Tried different dishes with a hope of something better but badly shattered every single time. Price seems reasonable too. The ACs do have a problem. Either its too cool and the temperature cannot be increased, or it gets stuffy and the temperature cannot be lowered. <br/>Funny it sounds now, though!<br/>Coming to the food. When in a group I like to have a lot of starters, even if that means a compromise on the main course. The tandoori kebabs and other similar Indian non veg starters are okayishly good. The chinese starters are mostly very good. Prawns salt and pepper is one, I would recommend to all the seafood lovers. What I din't like about few chinese starters is the tinch of sweetness. I mean even if its a tinch, its not supposed to be in the chicken chilly or the chicken schezwan. Right?<br/>The soups are good - rightly cooked-rightly crunchy veggies in the right amount of sauce.<br/>Good variety of mocktails.<br/>The non veg Indian gravies are just normal. So are the rotis. Nothing great about the biryani as well. Schezwan fried rice is good. Do try the triple schezwan rice that comes with topings of fried noodles. American chopsuey is totally to die for..<br/><br/>The quantity they serve justifies the bill, though the mocktails seem a little over priced given their volume.<br/><br/>All in all, its good. Taste after-all is very subjective. Quality is good, no doubt. Try it if you haven't and try in a group ifv you can, so that you can order a variety. I am sure you will hit something to keep going back to them.

We ordered mix of Veg and Non-vegetarian dishes and I found Non Vegetarian food bit superior in taste. We ordered Non-vegetarian platter that includes Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Kebab mainly. Taste and portions were good. Chicken Tikka and Leg Tandoori were delicious. Veg platter consists of Panner Tikka, Baby Corn and some more Veggies. Later in the main course we ordered Rawas Masala. Fish was soft but the gravy was not appealing. It lacks the basic flavours as well the thickness required in it. It wasn’t even garnished, so the presentation too failed to score the marks . Prawns biryani was more of oil then of prawns pieces. Spacious seating arrangements are done for families and couples. Lightnings were dim and cooling temperature was perfect. Not a happening place. Lack in service. Food isn't great, but expensive. Food is served very late on your desk. You must not ask for suggestions, or you will be mislead.

Food is good and easily customisable on demand.....Decent place for Friends and family.Both veg and Non veg are good.A custom DalRice was truly delicious and felt like home made...

Love visiting dis place wid my family..njoy the hospitality starting wid their bundi jeera drink n then rumali roti.. which is this big.. that u wont need masala papd to start ur meal!! Would suggest non veg for main course !!

Finally after 20 mins we got a table sofa was unclean didn't wanted to sit but no option. service is not prompt almost every time our glass was empty we had to call waiter for water may b due rush.<br/>Also it is far from Kyn central u need personal vehicle co I dint c much public transport available specially for late nites.less parking space.<br/>Taste was not dat gud.I wud rate 1.5 for food.chiken crispy was gud but not crispy,lollipop were OK. butter chicken was worst.mutton roganrjosh was best. Manchow soup was ok.<br/>Over all was a bad experience won't visit again.

this is an ideal place for a dinner with family. the service is very prompt and good. the staff is well mannered.<br/>two sections (wine and dine) makes it nice to spend quality family time.<br/><br/>talking about the food, it is nice especially the non veg kebab starters are finger licking awesome. liquor is at peg system and to me seemed little over priced for the place. Still, a lot of options to choose from!<br/><br/>the good thing about this place is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the town and still not very far or out of city limits. it is easier for vehicle parking. <br/><br/>definitely a good place for family time!

Food is fabulous. Ambiance is nice. A must visit restaurant in kalyan.

Considering the choices available in Kalyan, this is clearly the best one. My favourites are 'Chicken Chooza kebab' and 'Veg dum Biryani'. Food quality and especially use of oil is just perfect, not overriding the taste of the dish.

OMG!! Most pathetic restaurant I have ever been to. Food quality is worst and if that wasn't enough not once but twice while eating I found two stones! Rates were high compared to this shit service and food quality, better go to Royal Heritage - same amount good food!
