Like the ambience we got there. It's been the beach side!.Once everyone should try this restaurant as it resembles some out of the state resturants. Dim lights and the sea side gives you a romantic destination to spend with your loved ones. The food we got from there was decent!. Prices are not too much, but bit on the upper side.
Best sea view restaurant in kannur. Dine out with an exquisite beach view and good ambience .The wait time for the food is very long.After ordering we waited for a good 30 minutes! And for a cheque another 15 mins , then the food quantity is very small for price .And the service and behavior of the staff are also good. A nice place to spend time with friends and also taste varieties of foods.

The Olgutz Team strikes again with yet another “first in Kannur”, this time a Mughlai Restaurant set against a beautiful backdrop of waves and setting sun.
The place is open and very well set, attention to detail is to be applauded so much so that even the music playing gels with the overall ambience.
Staffing and service is professional and attentive.
Menu offers a spread of Mughlai Dishes - Murgh, Mutton, Beef, Shorbas (Soups), Rotis and even a small yet careful selection of desserts, priced reasonably. Portions are decent and the quality is at par with the expectations set forth by the ambience.
I personally felt the dishes to lack proper seasoning. Mutton Nihari was little too salty, and they put three chunks of Mutton and not a single piece of the leg bone. Paneer Tikka felt nothing more than biting into a huge chunk of Paneer. The “Murgh Something” was perhaps the best of the lot. Roti’s were fresh and crispy.
I’ve set the comparison against what I’ve had from Karama (Bangalore) and Karachi Durbar (Dubai). Nawabz is a very good Mughalai Restaurant, however, falls short of authenticity in terms of taste and presentation when you delve deeper into the subject.
(Edit) I’ve tried their desserts and it was a delightful experience. The Rice Kheer was of the right consistency, and just melts in your mouth. Shahi Tukda (hope I’ve got the name right) was the best so far I’ve had - crispy bread in a perfectly balanced gravy/sweet sauce. I haven’t got much of a sweet tooth, however, this was good to the tastebuds and mind.
I feel people will come to enjoy their dining at Nawabz, and I’ll recommend this place for offering a fresh and “paradigm shift” in dining experience normally associated with Kannur.
Nice and decent restaurant right in front of the beach. Ambience vis warm and cosy at some sitting spots. An ideal place for having dinner or lunch with family or your loved one.
North indian food served here is the best north indian in Kannur. Nawabi chicken masala is out of the world. Tandoori roti was well cooked and soft.
Staff here speaks hindi, malayalam, Bengali.

Very good food and ambience. But service is very slow. It's one of the very few good places to eat near Payyambalam beach.
