had the pleasure of dining here yesterday. It’s very close to the Kannur railway station I went for lunch and the staffs were very polite and attentive. The food was delicious , and the service was impressive. it was a great atmosphere indeed, calm and quite and definitely no unwanted noise from here and there. Me and family enjoyed a peaceful lunch here . Keep up your great customer service and continue to serve the delicious meals.

It was a random choice to come to Barka in Kannur. We are so glad we did! We only tried the Kerala specialities and the food was superlative! The order was taken efficiently, the food came quickly , everything was hot off the range. And washed down everything with a great Suleimani chai. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Barka restaurant and I was very impressed with the food. We tried the pal chatty parotta and the kizhi porotta and both were lip smacking delicious. Even the simple chicken stew we ordered with the ghee rice was flavourful and left us wanting for more. The service at Barka restaurant was excellent. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we have everything we needed. He also gave us some great recommendations for dishes to try. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Barka. The food was delicious, the service as excellent, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Kannur.

Came with high expectations but was little disappointed as biryani and other food items are available and serve post 12pm. At 11 am they only had kerala parota and chicken gravy to serve which was decent in taste and we ended with Sulaimani tea

We got the kizhi porotta here with chicken 65. Even my carb hating wife dug into it like a hungry whale. The porotta soaked in that chicken gravy and coconut milk mix was just splendid. The cashews and chillis added much needed texture. The chicken 65 was a little disappointing but that’s our fault for ordering none local.

It was a busy schedule for me but I managed to stop by Barka Restaurant for a nice lunch...Had a normal Chicken Biryani and lemon tea... It was perfectly cooked and delicious... I hope to come again and try other famous dishes from the same place...

This was our 2nd experience at this restaurant. This time we had fried fice. chicken biryani, spicy rosted chicken and some fried ice cream and falooda for dessert. Food was good, value for money. Restaurant have a very calm atmosphere, perfect for families.

We Stayed at Malabar Residency recently, the stay was comfortable with all modern aminities. The restaurant "Barka served us a good buffet breakfast, They serve tasty thali meals with fish curry. The wheat porottas with prawns semi gravy was yummy. The staff were courteous & prompt in service.

I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. I would recommend. And the staff were so kind and helpfull in every circumstance

Chicken Biriyani was tasty .I got half biriyani for Rs.120. Full biriyani costs Rs.200. I felt barka is expensive . Lemon tea was for Rs.30. And my friends had veg thali for Rs.140 ,which was of average taste, not at all worth for Rs.140.
