The place is quite well managed and the ambience was lovely. The food items were appetising and savory. Some exquisite dishes and deliverables will make you feel ambrosial about the place. You can also enjoy the disc there.

The staff was cooperative and the service was fast. We didn’t have to go through a painful wait for our yummy food. The place is a good one to visit with your family and friends.With family, you can enjoy the exotic food and with friends you can enjoy swinging to the tunes of DJ along with delicious snacks and cocktails or mocktails.The disc area is very spacious so you can conveniently throw a dance party for a gathering of 50 or so. So, guys if you stay in Kanpur, I would really like to tell you to try out this amazing place once.

Kanpur's first Jail theme restaurant and the ambience totally justifies the theme. The staff is also dressed accordingly. The food was good and the presentation was impeccable. The Turkish Paratha and Mac and Cheese Paratha were super good. They serve an amazing range of menus. A good place to hangout. They even have a disco theque which is a major attraction for the youth of the city. Definitely going back for more.

Great ambience. Food was a bit over priced but the atmosphere compensated for that. Both the lounge and discos are great place to hang out.

They welcome you by a welcome drink ●pulse lemon shot● People who love pulse will definitely love this welcome drink.. The food served here is very tasty and has their natural flavours. The theme of the restaurant is very unique. The food is a bit costly as compared to the other restaurants nearby but the taste of the food definitely complements its cost.

I went there with my family and the ambiance was cool. The look of the restaurant was like a jail and it was quite a new concept. Price of the food was high according to the quantity. All in all, it was great.

I had singapore noodles from this place. The legit worst Singapore noodles I've ever had. The noodles just had yellow food coloring. The taste was yucky. Unpalatable and inedible. Totally bland, flavorless with some intermittent bad tasting vegetable in between. The other vegetables were the only good thing about this dish. Also contained friggin pineapples that were cold and had turned white and didn't mesh well with the flavor. Real singapore noodles turn yellow due to seasonings like curry powder but here no seasoning only food coloring. On top of this it was very overpriced for the quantity.

Manager day time is very rude. Do not know how to talk to customer.

Ambience was nice and comfy. Theme was different from others. Manchow soup was the best. Briyani was different what we eat in other places. Briyanis aroma was not accomplishing the taste.

It's a good place to be at, a jail theme restaurant. The food is a little overpriced if we look for the quantity and taste. We had ordered spring rolls, chilli paneer and Hakka noodles, the service was pretty quick, except for the beverage being served later. Spring rolls were worth it, they tasted pretty good with the sauce that was served in the mini cooker. Talking about chilli paneer and noodles the taste was not that satisfying and the quantity was also kot up to the mark if we look at the pricing.

Place is good and food is amazing . The only thing which I don't like is that it's compulsory to buy mineral water which costs 50₹. I know people will judge that what's there in 50₹ but still you should serve regular water too..

It's a theme based restaurant.they created entire restaurant into jail which turn out to be really good.its a very first kind of restaurant doing this.quality and quantity of food is okay.am a coffee person so I tried there coffee which cost me 200 bucks but it's worth it because it was one of the best coffee till I have tasted.

We went to the resturant. The place was quiet to have a great conversation but the food was not at all worth it. The service was very bad. All the waiters were only interested in pub. Overall, I would suggest you not to go to the resturant.

The ambience is gr8,theme is right,service is also nice ...but the food here is NOT at all upto the mark ...we ordered 2 paneer sabzis(Noor Jahani, Hyderabadi) for main course...they had too much oil ...in pics it's visible...just oil .if a person wants to enjoy and experience the overall ambience maybe the place is for you ..and I think is a little overpriced ...a regular diet can available in market for ₹35 you get it for ₹100 ...that's too much in my opinion...

I'll like to start with the nature of the staff. Tje most disgusting waiters I ever came across. I do not know why they were staring and laughing that way. It made me decide that I'm never going to visit this place again. The pizza had extra olives in it. However, the DISC was amazing and I would say the best disc in kanpur. Food was good too except pizza. But all on it, the most important aspect i.e., behaviour of the staff was not good which made me really sad.

Ambience is great, the lighting, music & privacy is great. Food is also good both quantity & quality wise. One item that is spicy noodles tasted very average. Veg pizza & honey chilli potato is something u can definitely try. When I went there they didn't have any props that we usually see in their pictures like hand-cuffs. I came to Barracks with kind of high expectations but little that I know that it was too a series of disappointing restaurants which have come to spring up all over swaroop nagar. We ordered a mushroom cheese kurkuri and schezwan rice.<br/>The mushroom was purely lacking and it tasted like a hyped aloo tikki.<br/>Schezwan rice were too forgettable.<br/>The portions was very small for the amount we paid. And the ambience wasn't that great expect for the concept of enclosed spaces bound by mettalic grills. Overall a very disappointing meal!

As you enter this place you are greeted by their valet service which is a much needed service in the bustling swaroop nagar area. After handing over your car you enter a narrow passage leading up to stairs leading up to the restaurant and pub. The pub and its ambience looks tawdry which is an immediate turn off for some but would surely entice young crowd with a little garish palette.<br/><br/>Now the jail themed restaurant and the whole shebang felt too gimmicky. As for the food I ordered a Vegetable Lasagna and Veg Shaslik Sizzler both of which was sub par, the lasagna more so. The cheese on the lasagna which is supposed to be mushy was rock hard and the sizzler was served without cottage cheese in it which was clearly written in the menu. But the cottage cheese was added afterwards when beckoning the manager who seemed nice and also did not charge for the lasagna as it was not properly cooked.<br/><br/>The final verdict is that it is nice to see kanpur experimenting with it’s restaurant scene but we still have a far way to go. So for now 3 stars for the courteous staff and manager. <br/><br/>

I love the way this lounge provides the irony of having a scrumptious delight behind the bars. Ambience is nice, service is pretty welcoming and food is absolutely mouth grubbing. Presentation has set fusion dishes to next level. They also offer some amazing mocktails and beverages. This jail theme based restaurant is a must visit place.

My recent endeavour to one of the finest Lounges of kanpur "Barracks" was a nostalgic one it reminded me of the song "Posham pa bhai Posham pa 100 rupay ki ghari churaye"<br/>PS when the jail is as royal like that of barracks with bars and jail based interior and wall decor who doesn't wants to get locked and put behind the bars.<br/>With a soothing and calm ambience barracks even excellls in the Indian cuisine whether it may be variety of indian parathas or continental parathas as innovative as Turkish Cheese paratha or it may be the golgappa station with 4 different flavours.<br/>When in barracks have a mocktail have a good day.<br/>Hawain waves and Quasimado are ❤<br/>And yes don't forget to enjoy the welcome drink made from herbal ingeredients having a pulpy taste.<br/>A bit pricy place but do give it a try.<br/>Ambeince- 4.7/5<br/>Overall- 4.5/5

A jail themed restaurant, a perfect place to chill and relax with friends and family.<br/>The ambience and service was good.<br/>The quantity and quality of food was worth it. Overall loved every bit of the experience. The disc, the lounge and the food. Do check out their mocktails, i personally loved Quasimodo and april lady! They have a variety of mocktails as well.<br/>The manager is dressed as a jailer and they even have handcuffs!<br/>A perfect place to click pictures.<br/>The chinese was good as well!<br/>

Love the theme of the cafe , lives upto the expectation as the name suggests .<br/>It’s set in a jail theme , the booths are designed like jail cells .<br/>The ambience is really exciting .<br/>The manager is dressed like a jailer and waiters are dressed like the prisoners .<br/>They even have handcuffs kept on the table .<br/>I ordered Oreo Shake and that turned out to be the best from the order .<br/>Singapore noodles need a special mention , everything else was also nice .<br/>The food is a bit overpriced I feel .<br/>Great option for people who love to pose .<br/>They provide vallet parking .

Barracks is a one of a kind Jail themed restaurant and lounge that offers way too many mocktails and dishes. We tried so many of them that I can't really pen them all down but I loved most of them, especially the innovative paranthas and rolls.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Their mexican cheese and italian cheese parathas won my heart totally and so did the mocktails and golgappa shots!<br/>.<br/>.<br/>The theme is unique and the staff is polite and welcoming so you'll like it there for sure!<br/>A must try if you're in Kanpur.

Kanpur's first Jail themed restaurant - Barracks does a complete justice to its name. The ambience is at par and the service staff is also dressed according to the theme. The food is good and the service is quick. The Mac and Cheese Paratha and their Turkish Paratha are something that you wouldn't want to miss. The presentation is impeccable and they serve some amazing mocktails. Surely going back for more.<br/><br/>A great experience overall!<br/>

We had been there recently and this is one of the best restaurants in kanpur little different ambience with the theme of jail. The ambience and staff completely gives you a feeling of jail. It’s is quite spacious with beautiful interior. We really loved the place for its interior and food as well. We ordered so much, spaghetti, baked spinach, lasagna,gol gappe shots everything was super tempting and mouth watering. From honey chilli potato to mock tails and pearl shots all is 10 out 10. Barrack's jail themed restaurant is a quite different idea which is different in Kanpur, if you interested to make fun in jail try the barracks bar,and the service was very fast a very unique and interesting interior in town with a bar and dj,nice ambianceb we ordered Nawabi paratha and hukka noodles and coke ❤️❤️🍛🍛

The place is full of surprise and weird tasty deliverables.<br/>You'll get a new taste for a city like Kanpur. They serve some good dahi kebab and paneer Afghani.<br/>You can try the soups pizza mocktails and their chocolate walnut brownies.<br/>The ambience was decent.<br/>You can also enjoy the disc available there.

The ambience is good. A better place for party. Specially the food is quite good as compared to other lounges. But i would like to add one the music is too loud or you can say it's extremely loud and after coming out form there you will feel a bit heavy in your ears but after all it's nice place to spend time with your loved ones.

The veg platter is a good order option. Barracks is kinda shady place, the decor didn't appeal to me much. Food is decent and service is good! Disco lights and loud music on a Thursday afternoon didn't click with me

This is a good place but not excellent I visited with my family here ambience is good but only problem is Restaurant is divided into two separate portion one is simply Restaurant with jail theme and another one is small disc area which is separate from the restaurant so we didn't enjoy both together price is costly as per Restaurant is concern because for only restaurant why we pay more lots of good restaurant available in kanpur .

Service is good, staff is very polite and friendly. but the taste of food is very very average, not at all satisfied considering the price. The prices are very high same as landmark and food quality is not value for money. Ambience is good. Would not recommend you to go .

This place is nice. Food is nice, not too great. I went on a Sunday, and the DJ was so loud, we couldn't even talk and was frustrating. It might not be so if you want to dance and stuff. Maybe that doesn't happen on other weekdays. Also, one thing that is not mentioned- couples have a free entry and if you're alone, the entry charge is 1,000/- per person (which is compensated with the food).
