Review Antarang - Kanpur

One of the best fine dine restaurants in kanpur. Food and ambience were very good. Service was little bit slow. We tried Lahori kadhai paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter naan and butter Roti both were very good & Delicious

I was wondering to visit this place for very long and finally I was there!! Ordered Gilaafi kebab in starters!! It was fine. My different food choice, may be! Then ordered the 2 beverages jal-jeera and Mango punch!! Both were fabulous, perfect taste, perfectly balanced ingredients!! Now comes the main course!! Ordered Allahabadi Dum-Alloo, some paneer ki sabzi don't remember the name now, with different breads. Finger licking taste, quantity of the sabzi was more than enough, we were three people couldn't finish the whole!! Prefectly cooked Breads were served in roti-kapda(cloth) which was new to me, never saw this even in five-star restaurants.. Service was mind blowing, after every 5minutes they were coming to check on us and serving the food in-between also.. Must visit place for Food lovers. Advice- Improve/increase the lighting of the place that'll help as the ambience is really good!!

We have come today..Main antarang is being renovated so it has shifted to rasam for the timebeing.Nice ambience.

Beautiful ambience and a very cozy setting to spend some quality time with your loved ones. Food is a bit expensive but taste is really good and eagerly waiting for Rave 3 renovation work to complete so that the place gets it's vibe back.

Its pretty old resturant in Rave 3 mall. We went for get together. Resturant is good and ambience is nice.They serve only the North Indian food.Don't go if you want to eat Chinese food because they don't serve it. Dahi kabab is must try starter.It's pretty soft and taste is very good. Breads are soft and curries are very good in quantity. Love the brownie which they serve with icecream. Service is little bit slow.

The food that we ordered was super delicious ( Handi paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Mix Veg, Tadka Dal and Butter Naan were my personal favourite ). Quantity was sufficient for 5-6 servings. We tried 'Mojito' and 'Ice Tea' as our welcome drink. ( Both were up to the mark ). In dessert we ordered 'Ice cream', 'Moong Dal Halwa', 'Brownie with Ice cream', and 'Gulab Jamun' ( the size of that Gulab Jamun was so big ). And they all were amazing. One serving of that Moong Dal halwa is way more than enough for two people ( so thoda dhyaan se order pack keejiyega..... Else don't wory aap pack bhi Kara sakte hai, fir mast raste me khate khate jaiyega 😜😅 ) Rating : I would highly recommend it, for perfect dine in with family and friends 😇 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The menu of Indian cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous at this place. Many visitors come to degust nicely cooked dal makhani, paneer tikka and kebabs. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve tasty gulab jamun here. Live music is played by musicians in the evening. Many people note that the staff is cool at this bar. The food was decent. Could be better. The service can definitely improve, in line with food menu pricing. The ambience lighting can be increased by 10-20% atleast, as mobile torch was needed to view the menu.

A nice cozy restaurant situated on the third floor of the Rave 3 mall, not far from the Mall Road. Ideal for family for both lunch and dinner.Staff is okay sometimes they do not understand what the you need. Rest all is great. P.S.: Do try the Dal Makhani it is just delicious!!

This is a very good restaurant in kanpur. Offers multi speciality cuisine. Food is good and cost is reasonable too. Selection of alcohol is decent. Indian wine is available here. Ambiance is good. Some times there is live music too. Deserts need improvment and more variety.

Great taste of food, expensive but worth it. Really love their stuffed paneer tikka (it is stuffed with dry fruits like cashew and raisins on the inside). Overall a great place.

Being my home town this place was long back one of the places giving fine dining experiences. As i said it was long back and now there are many players in the market. It has very old vibes and menu offers nothing out of the box. Having visited many times I felt the need to write the review after todays experience.<br/><br/>We ordered the usualy vegetarian affair of paneer and dal and koftas, which were nothing special to write home about. Though the breads were quiet well done and especially the garlic naan is top class. We ordered the gulab jamun with ice cream to share and it was quiet yummy but there was a piece of butter paper in the ice cream still attached...yikes !!!. The management was quiet apologetic and they wrote it off the bill. But still you dont expect these kind of slipages at these prices.<br/><br/>But still i feel the low rating has nothing to do with this incident but the overall I didnt felt blown away ...kind of a meh affair. Go there for the naans and hoepfully live music playing :-)

One of the most premium places in Kanpur to be, it attracts a huge crowd being situated in the food hub of the town. Went with my family for a dinner and had a great experience at this place. The interiors are superb so is the vibe. The prices are bit high though.<br/><br/>We went with Dahi ke kebabs in starters paneer lababdar, handi paneer, Dal tadka, Malai kofta along with kashmiri dum biryani plus Butter naan & garlic naan in breads. The food was something to relish, absolutely great..my whole family enjoyed to the core. Though the main course was superb but Unfortunately I didn't liked the dessert it was somewhat average according to the price. <br/><br/>The service was excellent with humble and courteous staff, would love being there again..!!

Started with soup and didn't ended it too. I ordered tomato soup and hot n sour. They served with breads(which was old). Soup was so good that couldn't finish it or couldn't dared to.

I visited this place nine months ago with my family after watching Bahubali Movie. It is located at Rave3 Mall so u can enjoy dining here after the Movie. Food was good in taste and ambiance was also good.

So coming from Mumbai, my family decided to go to antarang for dinner. I wasn't expecting much but after entering the place, I was thinking okay maybe this place will be different and my expectations were even high after looking at the prices. <br/><br/>Food - <br/>Chicken chaap - Nowhere close to what a chaap is. I understand every restaurant has a different concept for that but atleast it should have some flavour to it. <br/><br/>We ordered two mains - one chicken and one mutton. I don't know what was so hard to understand cause the server got us two mutton mains. These are the things that need to be rectified by the staff and especially if you're charging a bomb. The items were greasy and let me tell you, I don't crib about oil as long as it's well made but both the items were a huge disappointment. <br/><br/>Word to the wise - I'm generally not harsh on any restaurant but Antarang definitely needs to rectify quite a few things. Despite such service, if a restaurant is packed means either other people love the place or there is a lack of good restaurants in Kanpur.

Visited a few years back. Good but expensive food as compared to many other places. Very slow at service. You must have a lot of patience to have a complete dinner there.

This place is good. Last year i have visited this restaurant. There was seating good, serving good, atmosphere good and food was good not too good.

The food quality is very good, the staff was courteous, the waiters were knowing about the dishes. It's a restaurant cum bar. Light music is played in the background. The artificial environment created is very good. Its north Indian food is very good. The prices are little high than usual. It's a must try restaurant.

Some of the waiters are not trained. They were dropping plates. Didnot feel that we were in fine dining. The order was also served extremely late. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Been there with 2 of my friends (Actually, I wanted to have a soup only but that led to a dinner here). We ordered a dal makhani and a spicy paneer (forgot the name, Lababdar I guess). Dal was having a plain taste with not much of its flavor. Paneer was not spicy. If you ask about the quality, it was good. If you ask about the taste, it lacked in this area. I hope, I could have a better experience. Soup was good but the bread crumbs were too oily and old.

Went for a family dinner on a Saturday night. The place was almost empty. The ambiance was nice and the food was above average. Though it is on the expensive side, the quantity is really good.

We met a couple of friends here for lunch and were so busy catching up that we forgot to take any pictures. It was just the 4 of us as customers from 12noon to 4pm.<br/><br/>For drinks we did not experiment too much - lassis and lime sodas were standard fare. The mutton galauti was quite good and the chicken spicy sheekh type kebabs (I forget the name) In veg, we ordered the crispy channa which was interesting (boiled and deep fried channa) , but the dahi ke kebab were average, I have tasted much better ones, especially in Gujarat and Rajasthan. These were very soft and a bit watery.<br/><br/>The butter vegetables and aloo dum were average, the mutton dum biryani was better than average. Garlic and butter naans were good.<br/><br/>The gulab jamuns weren't worth being ordered at all which is surprising in a city that produces such amazing mithai.<br/><br/>Service was attentive in parts and distracted at others.<br/><br/>It was an "ok" experience. Not something I would voluntarily repeat, unless it is just for the non-veg starters.

Its situated just next to Felix on the same floor. When you enter the place, it doesn't give a grand expansive look that you would expect from their prices. <br/><br/>The interiors are way below average and seating mediocre for a fine dining restaurant. We tried baigan mirch ka salan, dum chicken biryani, fish fingers, shahi paneer. <br/><br/>I was astonished that instead of the tartar sauce, they have served mayonnaise & chopped onion as a dip for the fish fingers. The fish was stale, the coating not crispy and tasted horrible. We immediately returned the fish. The vegetables were such that you would't want to have them again. The only saving grace was the biryani which at least helped fulfil our appetite. <br/><br/>Look for an alternative restaurant while eating out... Because Antarang is surely not value for money!

As far as serving north Indian food is concerned Antarang does a really good job. I have found most of their curry items be it chicken or paneer equally tasty and aptly prepared without much oil or extra dose of spices. With its lip smacking north Indian food It's perfect for a family dinner/lunch. They serve some nice drinks and are very well located.
