Verandah is back with a bang! Surely not disappointing the customers verandah has successfully maintained the taste of its food items. The sitting area has been reduced and alcohol is not being served presently. It goes without saying a must visit if good food is your first priority and the feeling of shelling out money wont bother you as it usually does these days in many of the places.We ordered pepper cheese corn rolls and cheese garlic bread and both gratified our taste buds.

The place is at good location only thing that is not good is that the dont have parking place. Visters have to park there vehicals on road or in the showroom side. When it comes to service they are little bit slow. But taste of items in there list is superb. Prices are reasonable for 5 to 6 people it would cost you 1200-1500 and you will be happy in terms of taste.

This is chic place and offers different types of cousins now. Earlier it was a hukka bar where you can chill with your friends and order drinks and have fun but as the hukkas are banned in kanpur then its converted to simple dining area. There is projector for watching love cricket. Music is awesome here you can feel every beat. The staff is very polite and hospitable.

So I have been visiting this place regularly since it has been opened and am aware of how good it is. I love their preparations a lot specially, Sesame Potato, Dal Makhni, Malai Kofta etc. this is a multi cuisine restaurant and till now I have not been disappointed by their preparation at all. Best thing I like about this place is the value for money. Relative to many other comparable places, the prices here are much more reasonable. I ordered 1 Dal Makhni, 1 Malai kofta, 1 Butter Naan & 1 Onion kulcha(24-05-16) I got all this home delivered for Rs. 532 which I think is the fair price considering today's prices as so many places charge around 300/- per dish these days. This is a roof top place and has a shack kind of a look so for its ambiance also it gets an average of 3.5/5, Ambiance is more suitable for youngsters and not for family dinners. Hukkah and drinks are available and are considered good by my friends who are regular consumers of these and have a fair idea of them. Over-all this place is much better than its contemporaries and gets a big thumbs-up from my side!

Checked into verandah today i.e. 25th december 2019 and what a horrible nightmare it came out to be . The aerated drink was coke can with mrp printed 35 rupees which is sold for 195 and redbull sold for 195. order cheese cigar rolls and was served with spring rolls without even asked and that was horrible too. corn on the cob was fine but the quantity was too less as compared to price. Untrained staff . Will never suggest anyone to visit this place again.

Heard some good reviews about this place. So on a small visit to a special friends home decided that we all should have lunch here. And that's when everything went wrong. First the wait staff argued on our seating choice (the corner sofa sets under the AC) because apparently those seats are not for walk ins. The moment we were forced to vacate, the place was marked reserved. I thought the food will save us, but most of the dishes we asked for were not available (the chef was on leave). I guess then the regular dishes that do not require too much culinary skills were our only option. So some assorted fried veggies, a mushroom and paneer dish was our only choice. That too went wrong, me and my friend had an upset paining stomach for the entire week. What a disappointment. This place only works because there is hookah and sheesha for the youngsters. Probably that's why it's crowded. I would not say that you avoid it, but visit at your own risk after making a few calls to ensure that what you want to eat is available. And the seating will be a lottery.

After Hucka, this was the 2nd popular hookah lounge that was opened in Kanpur. We used to visit it atleast once a month as it was near our coaching, back when we were in 11th or 12th. I must say the place is a bit on the expensive side and the quatity is also very less. Ambience is next to perfect you can hangout with your friends on a fine evening. I will not say its a must go place but you should visit once if you live in Kanpur.

I have went to the place more than a 50 times . Ambience and quality of the food served is 10 on 10. Sheesha served here is one of the best in kanpur. Crowd here is high class.

3 stars because the food and the service doesn't live up to the expectation that the ambience creates. The moment you step in, you hear good electro music and see a buzzing crowd. The best time to visit is on the evenings when the lights are on and you get the proper Verandah feel. Nowadays coming on to the bad part. There guys do not know how to prepare a hookah at one go. There rarely have been cases where me and my friends have been satisfied with the hookah that was served. We always have to ask for changes to be made. Service is slow and you can expect to keep calling a waiter and they won't turn up. Food isn't great. Never felt content with the quality that was served.

Starting with the ambience.... it was good.... it is divided into two section one is outer section another is inner one.... both r good for having selfieeee..... coming on the food chilli garlic noodles were good.... manchurian was okay and the fried rice was worst.... the staff is not poliet at all.... if u'll ask them to arrange one seat extra with your table they can't do it at any cost.... service was very slow.... m totaly disappointed

My overall experience to this place was average. The staff here is cooperative and decent. The food was average with no presentation. I expected a presentation according to the price they take, which was zero. This place has a good ambience to chill with friends. A bit too costly as their was no uniqueness as compared to other places.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Awesome ambience with an unique menu. Though a bit costly. Also have option for get together or small party. Some dishes tastes good but some are not upto the mark(might be i am not familiar with the taste) but kadai paneer n butter naan were great together. #Chinese cuisine is good.

Tried Italian food pasta . And nonveg dishes. Taste was good and well prepared. But hygiene of visible kitchen in corner was not upto mark. Booze and beer (@570 for 2light cans )are high priced too. Overall okay experience. Costed 2500 for 3 for snacks and beer.

The place is great with awesome food and ambience. The cuisine you must try is Chinese. I could find parking for my car as well. Would love to visit again.

A nice lounge like setting with loud music. Good place to hang out with friends especially those who like hukka. What I did not like was the low seating arrangement and the coolers that would blow right into our faces. From the menu, we tried the Paneer Shashlik Sizzler and Barbeque Chicken Sizzler. Although the Chicken dishes are put down as Steaks in their menu, you can always ask for it to be brought as a Sizzler instead. We also tried some indian starters which were quite good. On a whole good food, ambience can be improved specially the low seating.

Just one word, pathetic! You may at first get excited with the ambience, which was fine. But, the trouble begins when you start ordering. First, they said no to almost half the dishes on the menu. Next, they do not serve complimentary drinking water & hence, compulsorily make you buy packaged drinking water at 3 times the MRP!<br/>Thus, i would suggest a big NO to this.

If you want to go to a hukka lounge, I'll suggest skyye instead of this place... More or less they both have the same prices, but the quality of food is much higher in 'Skyye Lounge', I've personally never liked the ambiance at this place. Doesn't serve alcohol, which 'Skyye' does.

It's a average lounge. No parking facility available. Workers are not hosting his guest properly. It is my personal opinion. You'd go and experience at least once.

Heavenly food bliss underneath dim lantern lights. Verandeh is a nice rooftop restro that serves good indian and continental , quite reasonably priced as compared to other resťros of similar lineage. Worth a visit.

Long pending.. Finally visited this place with office mates lately. Very decent place to hangout with friends .. compact and nice interiors although . For hooka lovers too ..I spcly loved the verandah spcl with a mint of brain freezer .. 3/5 for pan noodles .. 3/5 for service (a bit late) ..and also no free wifi is available as listed on zomato it was for office use.

The photos here seem to give you a notion of this heavenly place with value for money food. Don't get me wrong, I must say the set up of the restaurant is pretty indeed. The starters were average. The cheese chicken nachos were not crisp enough. The honey chilli chicken, however was satisfactory. Pasta, as far as the red sauce category goes wasn't really up to the mark.<br/>All in all, I was a bit disappointed with what I had, not sure about the Indian section though

The music is good,hookah is good,beer is good and the whiskey was also good all because verandah didn't make it. What they make is food which was terrible, NOT at all worth the money. The receptionist was rude, service was dull. All in all if you just want to sit somewhere and waste your money, this is the place to go. And they served me Vodka when I ordered sauza tequila and didn't agree that the thing I just gulped was Vodka and after all those drunk nights we have in the hostel it's not hard to differentiate between the two. Needless to say they charged me for a tequila.

Verandah, I dunno what has happened to the place!<br/>When it opened it used to be good enough to hang out but this time when I was in the city I visited it and it proved to be so disappointing.<br/><br/>An average rating just because of the okayish ambiance and decent hookah.<br/>Their service is the worst, first of all nobody attends to you, when they do, they do not bring your order till 35-40mins, on top of that there was a tissue paper in the ice they served.

Visited verandah today for lunch and ordered:<br/>Drinks - Summer Coolers, Virgin Mojito<br/>Good: Nimbu achari paneer, murg malai tikka, French fries.<br/><br/>Drinks were great but could be better if it's less sweet. Paneer dish was great and so were french fries but I have tasted lot better chicken malai tikka.<br/><br/>This place has excellent ambience and I will return soon to try their shisha and main course!

Well been to this place so many times that i owe a review to it i guess ;) To begin with these guys know what they are serving to their customers. Be it Indian/Chinese/American/Italian(I have only tried these) seems as if they have mastered every cuisine. Summing up my experiences so far: For Entrees we had Honey Chilli Potato, Manchurian, Cheese Garlic Bread,Pan Fried Dimsums, Spring Roles, Penne Don Alfredo, Chilli Garlic Noodles and every bite was worth it. Talking about the dishes on their menu we had Kadhai Paneer, Anglo Indian Veg Jalfrezi, Butter naan and fruit raita and again everything was spot on. Must try mocktails Buzzer, Virgin Mojito and Oreo Biscuit Shake. And I love the Calzones they serve.  One commendable thing about the food is that they know if its Indian it has to be spicy or Italian it has to be subtle and cheesy. Looking forward to try Non-veg cuisine here. The only place in Kanpur I prefer if I have to try something new. Try that Terrace  seating its awesome for a pleasant evening. The only thing that bothers me is the hospitality, of late the waiters have been sluggish(This is very reason I stopped going to Hucka). Ambience is fine- terrace is my favourite spot. <br/>Rating: 4-0.5(for sluggish service)= 3.5.

Situated at good place at least little bit peace from kanpur's busy roads and pollution. Interior is awesome though seating arrangement is not so comfortable. Service was excellent. Mocktails were superb. Specially the Buzzer one. But I didn't like food. I ordered veg pizza and it was just ok ok not so delicious. Except food everything was superb and if you are going with your loves ones den u gonna have great time. Awesome music superb Mocktails lovely interior and Sheesaaa it's just mind blowing. Overall superb place. @

It has nice ambience and good array of menu items but it all goes down when it comes to services. The rude attitude of staff and non cooperative behavior of the management is just opposite of the restaurant's environment.<br/><br/>I returned unfulfilled even after such a good flavour of hookah and this rating of 1 is only for that.

Starter is awesome and quite a nice place to dine with your buddies. Ambience is more and less like other restaurant in the town. Hucka served here is not up to the mark, need refill in every 15 mins. Main course is average :)

A glass broke into my 3 yr old kid a mouth while drinking water from it .. And they said the glass cracked as the kid applied too much force while drinking from it.<br/>Just try at home and you'll realize how much force breaks glass..<br/>Poor management and maintenance...

Service charge should be 5-10% (it is certified from govt side you can check it out). They are charging 10%(max possible service charge) for the very unpleasant and pathetic service from their waiters and managers. Let me tell you service tax should be 4.94% of the total bill and should be only paid if the air conditioners are there( and obviously should be switched on), the ac's were also switched off. The so called MD of the lounge does not have complete knowledge of the tax he's charging and saying that he has to contact his C.A. Every restro has 2 options for water either the mineral or normal and this restaurant serves only mineral water that to of 40+tax per bottle. The bill is attached alongwith for proof. I  rated it 1 star unwillingly since it was minimum rating possible. <br/><br/>So a humble suggestion from me never spoil your evening at verandah and raise your voice before paying the amount and ask for the tax information

went for the first time and I request you kindly dont go to this lounge ever. The waiters are of very low level with 3rd class etiquette, no hospitality. The so called M.D of the restro whom they brought to me didnt has any knowledge of the tax breakage. On being asked the waiters to serve the quater plates his words were" kitne dene h". After 10 mins the finger bowl was served after repeated reminders.

Awesome place, sexy ambiance and the best hangout place in Kanpur. The food is equally amazing :) specially the Italian stuff (Drools) ! A must go ! :D

On evening my friends proposed me the plan of catching up at verandah, not a huge fan of hukka I was skeptical about the place but when I went the ambience struck me with pleasant surprise, interior well done, Perfectly light and cherry on the cake good music, loved the selection of music there. So the place got a one up from me the instant I entered then I was not too sure what the food will be like at a hukka lounge but the menu has a wide variety and surely this place knows it's food very well. Nachchos are a recommendation. Then comes the hukka in the picture and I thought of giving it a try too, though an amateur in the experience of hukka , I still gave it a shot. It was soothing and tasted great. My over all experience was great and after that one day whenever I'm in Kanpur I make sure I visit verandah at least once.

A much needed place that the city required. verandah is a perfect mix of a young place with good food. Great ambience and a well curated menu. Tandoori momos are a must try. This place is a perfect fit for any occasion. And yes absolutely no complains when it comes to service be assured that you are going to be well attended. I had an awesome time catching up with my old friends and I'm sure this is going to be my spot. Great going team verandah you all are doing it perfectly well.

When I think about delicious and yummy food and slurrp for something mouth-watering food the only name comes in my mind is "Verandah". I find the place great if you're willing to spend quality time with your best friend or your loved ones. The ambiance, music and the chilling drinks with sheesha make up for it. :) . Its among the few places to serve Sheesha in Kanpur. The food quality is very great with too many choices. Sometimes its hard to decide what to eat. I had mostle Chinese items and almost all of them were great in taste. Services available like wifi is pretty helpful. Overall I had great experience with "Verandah". Thank you soo much.

Delicious, authentic and most of all fresh food. The ambience is so beautifully designed that one can hang around all day with all kind of amusements and nice music. Must visit. I hope they had branches in Delhi also. 😇🙌.

The best lounge bar in all of Kanpur. Yummy food, great ambiance, friendly staff, this place has it all. A great place to chill with your friends over drinks and hooka.<br/><br/>I have tried their tequila chicken wings, trust me when I say, it's MINDBLOWING..!!! Everything in their menu, from the chat to the biriyani, are all masterpieces in their own right.<br/><br/>A very calming Zen like environment to enjoy a nice hooka and a few stiff drinks, you should visit the place during weekends when you want to let your hair down with friends. <br/><br/>The owners are nice people, they keep updating and improving their menu. <br/>Overall, a must visit when you are in Kanpur.<br/>

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. The service is slow and the waiters are untrained. I have had North Indian food all the three times and it was average . I asked for Makka palak ( it is sold under some other name and I don't remember it.) and it took more than 45 minutes to be delivered.

Worst service, worst food quality..worst staff ..especially dat captain or manager or watevr..staff is best suited for local alcohol shop..not for a elite restaurant..

I absolutely love this place. I have a couple of really great memories with friends here and I have tried so many things I'll have to write a pretty long and detailed review.<br/>Location: Disappointing. It's located on the 3rd floor of a building and there is no lift. It is difficult to get down in case you are drunk :p<br/>Ambience: perhaps the most amazing among all fine dine restaurants in Kanpur. The lighting seemed pleasant. There is a balcony with a swing as well. Of course there is a large screen that usually displays live matches. Music was pretty cool.<br/>Food: must try quisine: American<br/>They offer a large variety ranging from Chinese to Indian italian American and Mediterranean. The American cuisine is probably the best here and the food was absolutely delicious. Fish fingers, chicken steak, chicken satay, crispy cheese balls, peri peri chicken are a must try. <br/>Indian: murgh malai tikka and hyderabadi biryani are a must. If you are looking for something unique, you May want to try chicken rara, which is gravy chicken with gravy composed of minced chicken along with boneless pieces.<br/>Italian: this is one of the few places in Kanpur that offer lasagna, but I would not rate this among the best I have ever tried. The basil tomato pasta is pretty cool though.<br/>Chinese: spring rolls were so so, chicken 65 was delicious, avoid the lollipop! The drums of heaven are billed as a Verandah special but I am pretty sure I have tried better ones. Chilli fish is pretty underrated and fish lovers can have a go at it considering the quality of fish is amazing. <br/>Mediterranean: tried the chicken shawarma, feel that this is way too overpriced and not the worth, shawarma for me needs to be prepared in front of my eyes, with the chef displaying his rather unique set of skills while shredding the chicken stacked on the grill. Hummus was pretty good though, and is something one should try.<br/>Drinks: among the non alcoholic drinks, buzzer, fruit punch, kit Kat shake or Oreo shake very greatly done, and would be some of the safer options<br/>We asked the beer to be split into glasses. The beer served was watered down and lacked fizz. Just order a can with glasses and ice next time and pour it as per your convenience.<br/>Final take away: must try: American, hummus, mocktails, Indian starters<br/>Reconsider before ordering: drums of heaven, lollipop<br/>Pros: relatively underpriced, ambience, variety in menu, great place to visit if you are a part of a small group<br/>Cons: location, lift T_T

Attended a couple of college treats at Verandah. The place is nicely built with a great ambiance. The small balcony has a nice sitting arrangement along with a swing.<br/><br/>Coming to drinks, the place is good for taqila shots and beer. However, the real concern here is the quality of food. The food is not that good.

One of the worst restaurants you can be in....food is OK OK , the place is conjusted with uncomfortable chairs, a long delay for food and very expensive dishes.....they took a tax of 1000 on 4000 rupees bill...please do not visit....I repeat do not visit....

It is among the few places to serve Sheesha in Kanpur. A good place to go with a great ambiance. The food quality is great. I had mostly Chinese Items and almost all of them were great. I would have given 5.0 to this place had the prices been on a bit lower side.

The place has dull ambience, though music is nice.<br/>Food quality is just fine, but you would find it difficult to just with the price given the quantity is less.<br/>Sheesha is good, flavours are nice especially minted ones.<br/>The service is little lousy, and doesn't make much efforts for garnishing and aesthetics. <br/>Given that taste of food is ok. I will suggest one can visit it for light snacks among friends with Sheesha. But not good enough to have a full course dinner.
