Tandoori chicken is very tasty one must try. The place can be more clean and hygiene.

They cook only moradabadi biryani with no extra gravy. Don't go there if you want to eat hyderabadi biryani. Sitting space is less but Overall food quality and service is good.

Food was great. I ordered kebab and parantha. Taste was awesome. Service is good and waiter are attentive to your requests. I would highly recommend this place if you love to eat non veg food.

The place is easily visible. I had the butter chicken which was amazing, I had it with naan and tandoori roti, both were good. The service was fast. The place was not so clean. The price was average. I would recommend this place.

The food was tasty i tried malai chicken tikka which was a little expensive but it's okay 😊❤️

Biryani was nt at all nice...!! Mutton stew , laccha parata and kheema was fine..

Famous restaurant of jajmau nyi chungi...food is not that much tasty...mutton galouti kabab are delicious with tawa paratha...u can go there for some different taste foods....

Well its not a good looking resturant or hotel. But wait, its not important that everything is good to look at. This place should get 10/10 on Food. Quality and quantity is very well enough. You will get every type of non veg items. Eat there only or pack your food. Try to visit @evening. Then only you will get to know famous level of this restaurant. After that don't worry, if u want to be seated on your car and eat. Go to counter and tell them you want to eat in car, they will send a boy with your food. So, overall good place to eat.

Pros: - Authentic non-veg taste, unlike many restaurants that use the same sauce-based gravy for multiple dishes. - Rates are one of the lowest, far cheaper than more famous restaurants. Within 200 bucks, you can have a full dinner. - Pretty decent variety of dishes consisting of chicken, mutton and fish. - Food is always freshly prepared so stale food is never an issue. Cons: - Ambience is pretty poor. There is no proper place to sit except outdoors. Indoor is quite congested. Also hygiene seems to be an issue. Tip: Prefer taking away the food or ordering online, instead of sitting there.

Taj darbar restaurant is near jajmau chungi kanpur. The restaurant is almost 16-17 years old and is well known for its dishes like butter chicken and chicken Kali mirch gravy and roasted chicken dishes. U can also enjoy kababs and mughlai paratha. The prices are extremely reasonable and quantity is also good enough. The restaurant is Desi type so no fancy interiors. Service is quick.

Ordered biryani, it was quite oily and packaging was not good also max. they forget to add chautney and raita.

I ordered chicken malai tikka from this restaurant I only get 3 pieces of chicken and also the restaurant doesn't followed the instructions and also the chicken is very hard and the cream and butter is in very less quantity in a dish which is known for cream and butter I am very disappointed from this restaurant and I recommend customers for not ordering food from this restaurant.

This is what they give you for butter chicken the pieces tasted burnt and there was no taste in the gravy.

Butter Chicken tasted bitter, like lots of lemon in it with lots of tomato. Never tasted such lemony butter chicken in my life. Butter Naan was OK.

This review is only for ordering food from Taz Darbar and not sitting and eating there bcos never tried that. So any you of butter chicken lovers who want good quantity with great quality can order from this place. They give one of the best non veg food in kanpur at very reasonable prices.

Don't order anything other than biriyani and tikka rice. They can make only this 2 things. By online booking u have to pay extra Rs 350 for two person.

Great food. Always good taste and value for money. Packing quality needs to be improved a bit. The food preparation is also good. Keep it up.

Chicken tikka biryani and butter chicken over therr is lip smacking don't judge the place by it's look get a take away be seated comfortably while having butter chicken with rumali trust me you'll thank me for this..

I ordered boneless kali mirch chicken and they served me bone kali mirch chicken seriously and taste is just so bad. There was no flavor in dish. Service and staff is good but food is not. Quantity is quite sufficient

If you like biryani then this place can fill your stomach with biryani on the way to Lucknow from Kanpur and it is not a very usual place to go however as a bachelor I enjoyed eating here with cousins a lot.

Many of my friends suggested this restaurant for good chicken.. two weeks before I tried this place for its famous chicken biryani.. but it was not up to the mark.. it was very dry and their Tari was ewww.. this place was also not good, like a dhaba ambiance and service was in the name of god .. I will suggest if u want to try this plz get ur order packed.. coz they don't have enough space to sit even.. it not a restaurant it's just like a non-veg kitchen..

We are on the way from Lucknow to Delhi, its 10:30 in the night and hunger start killing our stomach😟 very badly. We search restaurant near the highway as we got this restaurant details from zomato and straight away reach there. Very small joint serve vegetarian and non-vegetatian both and I think they are closing the restaurant as well.....<br/>So we place order for chicken curry , biryani and some breads along with the same. I must say they serve best chicken curry, boneless piece of chicken cooked with spicy thick gravy at his best. Biryani is must try dish too. I think they serve best food near that particular zone. As local people say the same thing that they have best food which I didn't deny too.<br/>Try there chicken curry and biryani and I hope rest of the dishes are awesome too which unfortunately we didn't try. 🍖🍚🍱

One of the best place in kanpur for non-vegetarians. This place serves delicious non veg at low price. The food is great,service is good. the only negative thing about this place is its ambience. You may find drunkards and hooligans here. Not a place to go on a date but to go with friends at night for full on masti.

The sole reason why I turned from a vegetarian to a non vegetarian is taj Darbar. Be it chicken afghani or chicken tandoori or the mouth watering biryani. It is very hard to find good restaurant in lalbangla,jajmau area.taj darbar is the best option for nonveg lover.its speciallity is its BIRYANI,TANDOORI ITEM but one should also try butter chicken,chikan kalimirch and kebab.space is small and crowded in evening so not suitable for family but take away is the another option.rates are very reasonable also very cheap compare to other restaurant.

Can't get better than this..... delicious butter chicken and chicken kalimirch at resonable rate are USP of this restaurant.... totally worth it

It's located in the main road of jajmau. Taj Darbar is a small Dabha so there is not good sitting arrangement for family. When I visit my home town Kanpur. I usually prefer to eat Biryani because I can't find any place in Delhi & NCR such awesome Briyani taste like in our city Kanpur or Lucknow . I love Biryani and Taj Darbar is good option to near my locality. It's cheap and best Biryani to have.  My 4 rating goes to only for Biryani... :)

Taj Darbar is located in Jajmau, therefore it's a very famous place in this location, though people come from far away places too.. Their Briyani and leg rice are very good and the rates are not at all high, previously rates were too less. I have tried butter chicken also but it was not good.. This place is not for family, people with families mostly prefer parcel.

Recently got tandoori chicken parceled from this place. <br/>Typical restaurant with plastic table and chairs put up, live up because of it's pocket friendly Chicken dishes. You won't see any family eating here. But take away is always an option open. Ample amount of food with nice taste.<br/>Heavily crowded in evening times.

"Bang for the buck"<br/>Food is just finger licking good! Although not a convinient place for a family to sit around and eat, but "take away" is always an option.
