I recently visited this bakery and while the baked goods were delicious, the lack of parking was a significant inconvenience. The pastries and bread were fresh and flavorful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, finding a parking spot nearby was a real challenge. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, it's worth the visit, but be prepared to deal with parking woes.

Upper Crust is one of the famous bakery in Swaroop Nagar that offers variety of cakes, pastry, breads and snacks. Their ranges of cakes are good. Snacks is not good as I expected. Their Paneer Patty is good in taste but not spicy and Chicken Patty is too bad don't buy that. They have good area of seating to enjoy snacks but limited to only 7-8 people. They keep full care of sanitization. Food is okay as per cost. They also provide wide range of gift packs.

Best bakery in Kanpur. We absolutely love their cakes, right from the custom made designs to the taste. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly as well as professional. Have been buying cakes, pastries and snacks from here since years now and not once had a bad experience. For every birthday, anniversary or special occasion this is my family’s go to place for getting custom made cakes. Although if you want to have custom made cake do book it a day in advance, else they also have ready to go cakes available for 1/2kg, 1kg, 2kgs. Do try their packed snacks as well. Also they have a small place for sitting but mainly it’s a takeaway shop. Finally, it’s neat and hygienic.

I know this place since 16 years now and it has been one of the favourite hangouts in the city; be it grabbing a snack, ordering a beautiful cake, having a complimentary bite of a yummy dessert and more. This place makes me nostalgic and brings back a lot of memories. Must visit for all your bakery needs.

Nice place. Instantly remember cafe big chill in Delhi Khan market . Similarly priced and really good casual ambience for lunch and cozy atmosphere in night. They serve quick bytes. Mediterranean( as good as it can get in Kanpur) and pizzas with super thin crust made really well. They have burgers and nitrogen icecream. Really nice. Staff is really prompt and the food is unexpectedly good. Look for Audi Kanpur, it's on the first floor of the same building

I've got my Life's first Birthday cake from here and it was 12am birthday surprise in the season of winters.. It was chocolate cake simply beautifully made. I loved eating that cake.. and it's taste still waters my mouth.. Yummy yummy yummy..

Last time i was ordered chicken burger, the bun color was light blue but today it was normal bun i didn't understand. I like the blue color bun it feels different from another restaurant but tonight I was disappointed by them.over all food is good. And last ek humble request ki ek carry bag jarur the ya papaer bah de jab be koi food delivered kare. They gave only box of food.

Had a great experience with upper crust but yesterday very bad experience .<br/><br/>Placed an order from Zomato in an offer of buy one get one free on desert, I have made an order of chese cake. But I only have received one cake instead of two.<br/><br/>On being calling the restaurant again and again for the issue the restaurant did not send the other cake instead they said the ZOMATO is running an offer upper crust is not.<br/><br/>Have asked the Zomato valet he said that the offer is given to the customers on approval of both the restaurant and the Zomato.<br/><br/>Restaurant did not agreed to give the other cake said it is the mistake of Zomato not them.<br/><br/>Not a place to order online..

Not a good place for cakes. The cakes might look good sometimes, have fancy names but don't taste good. There is also no value for money. If you purchase a premade cake from the counter, 50-60% of the time it is substandard & stale. The customer service is bad & they are too arrogant to follow any special instructions.<br/><br/>This year the cakes have inflated in price and deflated in value. Dry cake with hard icing in between layers and bad tasting whipped cream on the outside. Absolutely tasteless. Ordered belgian chocolate but didn't even taste like chocolate.

Upper crust quality is fine but quite expensive. Moreover i had ordered bread from upper crust. They delivered old bread rather than the fresh bread which was in stock.n very dry n hard bread. Extremely disappointed! If this continues then i wont buy anything from upper crust. Zomato home delivery was great. No complaints from zomato. Upper crust is expensive as far as confectioneries r concerned.

If you going to this for getting a cake for anyone then it would be ok and even for that part it’s not that good in taste it’s only the thing is it’s old in this city and just because of its name people are going their.<br/>But if you looking for this place to get some snack then it’s a big no.<br/>Decided to go for this place to have some beverages n sandwiches.<br/>Ordered one chciken sandwich which they said it’s spicy one so I ordered it but when we got on table after a long wait it was disasterous.<br/>Chicken sandwich with no chicken inside as if they are serving for free. Also ordered mix lemonade with they asked me for three times and still it was the worst lemonade one can have on earth. Cold coffee was the another beverage which was not cold in fact looked like hot coffee it is in name of cold one.<br/>A big no to this over hyped place

I just ordered the delivery guy kept calling me again nd again he s the delivery guy cnt he find the place himself ? He couldn't get up ns reach my home he was arguing on top of it very bad service

Nice and soft cake but i will never buy a mixed fruit gateaux in future from upper crust as they charged too much but the fruits were layered on top as a single layer no, further layer of fruits in middle or on sides and for this they charged 800 bucks for 1/2 kg, that really dont worth of paying. It was too costly.

The ambience of the place is good , people generally visit Upper crust for pastries and cakes . The new thing that they have in their menu is the Nutella shake which has a beautiful presentation and people have liked it as well

Decent bakery ! Could be prefered to get a black forest cake (i have seen this a number of times that people prefer this cake with Happy Birthday ^Name^ written on it with white)<br/>U may also try the snacks.

i had my sons birthday celebration with upper crust swrp. ngr, with snacks & their deserts which was appreciated by everybody, lts really true their service & food was excellent, at least i can guarantee that they r the best in city.

I order cakes and snacks for my children. The quality and the decoration of upper crust is excellent. We always visit their shops I. Swaroop Nagar, Z square and Cantt.

We were big fans of the upper crust shop in rave and expected similar quality of goods from this shop. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. Out of the 7 pastries we ordered, one was stale, 3 were dry and the remaining tarts were crumbling while we were shifting it to a plate to eat. If this is the quality of goods they are going to serve to customers, it won't be long before the old name of upper crust lies in ruin

My experience with this bakery is limited to chocolate cake which was delicious and within reasonable price limit. But going by the reviews here its disappointing  that management is not at all looking into the feedback. I would definitely refrain from trying anything else from here.

I ordered a cake from them which they couldn't deliver on due date. I can't celebrate my birthday on some other day. It can happen to anyone , so better please don't buy anything from them . They are not even sorry for their mistake.

Highly priced as compared to taste , non polite staff and not so good ambience. They have all what a good bakery should not have. Try to restrain yourself from visiting this place , instead buy from Mr.Brown.

Went there once during a recent trip to a friend in Kanpur. I found items overprices , not good in taste  as compared to price. We have been to Mr.Brown in Lucknow and Kanpur many times , Upper crust is not at all to that standard. Won't recommend it to anyone . Won't ever visit again.

Their cakes are of very bad taste , quality is poor and no professionalism at all. I was thinking they serve good pastries but didn't like anything after I visited the outlet . Also , these guys are totally unprofessional and don't have manners to talk to anyone.

Worst experience ever till now with any cafe/restaurant/bakers. Went there on 4th april with a deal bought from Nearbuy.First they said deal closed on 31st march, then they said market is closed because of some reason and so shop is closed.But I saw they were selling to people. They were talking completely illogical and senseless things in a very rude and unprofessional manner.They told me to come next day to enjoy food . I told them "agar kisiko bhukh lagi h toh u can't say ki enjoy tomorrow.You are in F&B industry." Later they talked to someone and agreed to give me the products.One waiter there mocked at me saying "inko bhukh lagi h , yahi khayenge".Is this the way you talk to customers? Ideally you should ask "sir dine in or takewaya" or "sir khayenge ya pack karu" but what he said was completely unprofessional.In F&B , your people matter a lot and you should provide an experience so that customer visits again . But with this experience,I won't recommend upper crust to anyone and will tell my friends and relatives not to buy anything. Till now , I used to buy cakes from uppercrust too through grofers, will stop doing same too. The way you treat customers will decide your positon in future.

If you are a non vegetarian, please try chicken patty. It is so good and succulent that you would forget KFC. Other eateries are also nice. Cream is nice and fresh especially chocolate cream but cakes and pastries are bit dry.

This place is over priced ! the cakes served are good in taste .. Tried the red velvet cups here for the first time , they tasted good ... The other bakery products are also thumps up ..

Till date whatever cake I had ordered were very good in taste . It's a bit expensive and u will get very limited option for eggless cake. Still I think, it's a great option for cakes in Kanpur.

All the cakes that we order are from this very bakery! Although it has gotten pretty expensive now.. but the taste is there!! There is no match to a cake from UC. The chicken puffs are really tasty . My personal favourite:)

Its been a long time since I have been here but this place has always been my favorite. Their cakes and pastries are delicious, so are their other bakery items of breads and pastas. Chicken grilled sandwich and chicken parcel used to be my favorites. They have a cult following among those who used to frequent this place before the arrival of McDs, KFCs and Dominos.
