Review Saffron Grill - Kanpur

A welcome place in z square for non vegetarians. Biryani is amazing. Staff is polite and courteous, service is prompt. Serving size is adequate and dishes are beautifully plated. Ambience is warm and welcoming. Genuinely priced menu. Personally loved their napkins and tableware. However, they do not accept cards or paytm.

Awesome food I must say. Best mughlai cuisine in Kanpur👌🏻Mocktails were refreshing🍹. table setting, beautiful 😍. Good service & polite staff. Overall great experience. And yeahh that kulfi falooda after a long time was soo delicious 🍧. Will surely go again.

It's very nice environment. Service is good and food is tasty. We tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Hospitality is very good. Worth visiting.

Great quality of food, the service is not as fast but it takes time to cook tandoor items. Overall very very satisfied with the quality however quantity is a bit less.

Atmosphere is awesome. Nice food specially butter chicken and chicken briyani. chicken is soft nice aroma perfectly Cooked and nice nice blend of spices. Negative point is that it take 30 to 40 minutes for preparation.

Great food, I would say one of the best Mughlai food in Kanpur currently, though the service is not as prompt. The pricing and food are great.

The food quality is definitely good. But their service is way too bad. They are a bunch of inexperienced people who know how to give good food on your plate, thats it. I was not given proper napkins, the service was very slow, did not even ask for water, would listen to my request and forget that I am waiting, did not even have enough glasses on the table, I had to ask the person to get glasses and fill them up with water. Will make you wait till eternity for your finger bowls. Small2 things matter.<br/>Imagine taking somebody out for a fine dine and having such an experience. I was embarrassed that I took someone out here.<br/>Will not recommend for a fine dine. For casual eating, its good.

Real authentic muglai preparation. Seek kababs r mouth watering. No one should miss their food. Awesome. ambiance is very good. Personalised service

The table was found on time. but the service was very slow. The waiter come in 45 minutes to get the order. And the food was also not good for test wise. And in the mix veg velocity salt was not at all. Other wise Good.!!!☹️

Since Z Square Mall has very few restaurants was glad that Saffron Grill was coming up. So finally decided to try it out last weekend.<br/><br/>The ambience is decent nothing fancy. It does give one a Mughlai restaurant vibe. The service was prompt and we were even asked for feedback. The menu is extensive and has the option of ordering full/half dishes which is a huge plus point.<br/><br/>The only negative thing was that we were charged Rs 9 over the m.r.p. on mineral water. When we inquired about it we were given no explanation. <br/><br/>Here's what we had<br/>Chicken Biryani (Half)- Good, the chicken was well cooked the gravy could have been better<br/>Matar Paneer Pulao (Half) - Good <br/>Bundi Raiti - Was good but it cost us as much as the Biryani!<br/><br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Service- 3/5<br/>Ambiance-3/5<br/>Value - 4/5

I went for a lunch to Saffron Grill and it was a really good service offered with the food being served on time and fresh and definitely the interiors and the way the serving people were dressed just added on to the interiors and the environment they wish to create.<br/>The Malai Murgh Tikka was soo soft and tender and with the green mint chutney it just made it a savory.<br/>Thai chicken indeed was a great starter, fried, soft and with perfect blend of ingredients.<br/>The chicken fried rice was sooo filling that I couldn't finish it all, as it had a lot of chicken pieces too.<br/>The mocktail I ordered was Blue Lagoon which indeed was very refreshing.

Good food and quantity. Hospitality and service was nice. Slightly on the expensive end as but totally worth it ! Overall a good experience.

Worst place, worst food, worst service.. even they dont know how to treat guest even they did not served water to us. Also ac was not working.. is this possible to give less than 1 point

Okay so I was feeling to go to some fancy restaurant in Kanpur, so I went to this place in Z square mall. The ambience was okay and staff was dressed life Sufi artists.<br/><br/>Talking of food, it was not so good.<br/><br/>1. Peshawari mutton kebab<br/>I ordered half plate n guess what I got for 240+tax, four pieces of half cut kebabs. Wow!!!<br/>They were too soft n tasteless. I like a little bit hard n less minced seekh kebabs so I won't recommend them.<br/>Agar itna ki soft seekh kebab khana h to tundai na kha lo.<br/>O.5 / 5<br/><br/>2. Garlic noodles<br/>Sweet tasting , n overall no taste on the palate.. my taste buds refused to even sense it.<br/>0.5/5<br/><br/>3. Chilli chicken<br/>Again tasteless chicken nuggets, sauce was too thin n no sort of that Chinese kinda spices, which we expect in this dish. I literally had a feeling ki mujhe ULTI ho jayegi<br/>0.5/5

After reading the several reviews here , I was quite skeptical about going to this restaurant, but unexpectedly this decision turns out to be really awesome. Not only the ambience is good , the staff is very courteous and polite but also the food was also very good and tasted different from other restaurants. Though a little pricey but still worth giving it a try. Will definitely visit again.

We have ordered cheese cigar it was like home made frozen mc cames and cheese was shit. Then we ordered butter chicken it tasted like an overcooked desert and it wasn't fresh either.if you want to waste your money it's definitely a place to visit

This statement is ideally for this place....after a log duration of about 1 year I visited z square mall with one of my friend and noticed this new place " saffron grill".... To be honest the name was eye catching and therefore I decided to have my lunch here..... We went inside and sat down .... Interiors are interesting and soothing staff is polite but the main thing.....FOOD... Is an ultimate disaster...most of the items in the menu are non vegetarian it was a hard time deciding what to order from vegetarian section as the options were limited.... We ordered honey chilly potatoes and paneer tikka....my review for both dishes are as follows:-<br/><br/>Honey chilly potatoes - 1.5/10<br/><br/>Yes! There is no taste other than of the sweet caramel .... Honey never gets caramelised but<br/>Potatoes were sticking to each other due to crystalization of sugar.... When we complained regarding this to the manager he got us 2 spicy sauces ... Which probably didn't work<br/><br/>Paneer tikka - 5.5/10<br/>Paneer was not properly marinated .... As far as I know the marination of tikka is done with yogurt and spices... What I could actually notice was just turmeric and oil... I've giving it an average rating because it could at least be eaten... Not like honey chilly potatoes<br/><br/>In my opinion if the restraunt can't serve good starters (basic ones),what they would be serving in main course!!!... I'm not going there again for sure!!

Taste is best . Hospitality is perfect .Rates were nominal .. <br/>But there was some shutdown and now they have increased there rates .. <br/>Worth visiting ..

Tried saffron grill for the first time..the ambience was good and the menu was also good..but the food was not up to the mark..we ordered fish starter which had so much chilli in it i had to drink one whole bottle of water..main course nihari had only bones in it no mutton..disappointing food

Nice ambience, tasty food, however the time taken for preparation and serving was very high which kind of puts off the customers. Also, they should try increasing the quantity of meat pieces in their signature dishes to justify price. No doubt the gravy was tasty but what good will it do if people have almost very little pieces to eat with breads! And lastly, service time should be reduced so that the customers don't get irritated and resort to cancelling their orders.

Went thrice tried different things Everytime but taste was not up to the mark and chicken was not properly cooked all the three time. Ordered biryani tasteless nothing great just simple rice with boiled pieces. Will not risk visiting 4th time. Utter disappointment.
