Karikudi is a connecting bus stop to go to deep south Tamil nadu. Such as karikal, kaniyakumari. Always you will get town bus once in 15-30 mins

You will find a town bus for every 15mins....And if you want to travel inside karaikudi you can find the bus in this bus stop......
In future I think Karaikudi needs an extra bus stand for Omni buses because the number of buses are getting increased due to population increase.
