Review Restaurant 51 - Kochi (Cochin)

Excellent service, unique ambience, meticulously clean and hygienic and the food is authentic at a very reasonable price. Their seasonal fruit platter is delicious, they serve the best coffee I’ve had in India and the views are unbeatable. Get there early for a cool Portside seat and watch the world float by as you partake in their extraordinary cuisine. Highly recommended.

This place deserves to be more reknowed in kochi than it is! Great layout and design, great food and super attentive staff- all this with the breathtaking view... What could be better?! Other reviews mention food being average but you won't be disappointed if you appreciate nuances of the 'farm to table' concept. As one can guess, the best order at such places is always catch of the day - and it was :) waiting to go back!!

One of the beautiful property in fort Kochi. The ambiance is just wow with a backwater view 😍 . The white sauce penne pasta was good and then we had pepper chicken pizza that also was having a unique pepperish flavor . Great service from the staff, very polite and well behaved. Good Clean spacious bathroom and wash area.

Very fancy restaurant with excellent and very professional service. Very nice views across the lake especially at sunset. Only downside was that the restaurant was empty when we went as it is downseason so no atmosphere. Also food was very expensive, about 700-900 for a main dish per person.

Restaurant 51 is that perfect serene place where u can enjoy the waterfront. Parking might be an issue. Service was good. Pepper chicken Pizza was really good. Price is high.

Chic setting in a nice quiet location overlooking the water, had a relaxing lunch of veggie burger and a refreshing mint cooler, salad was a bit underwhelming but didn't spoil the meal

Peaceful and western. Beautiful view of the water and it's fun to watch the fishermen dock their boats for the night, and see the big boats pass by. Expensive.

Elegant ambiance...Food was appetizing(veg soup was amazingly delicious same goes with ravioli and this steamed cream dish). Love to visit again ❤️

Evening is the best time to come and enjoy the cool breeze and an amazing meal. Rs40 by an AutoRickshaw from the middle park area of Fort Kochi -well worth the spend to get out of the zoo. Food is excellent, although slightly tweaked for a multinational crowd. Service, bathrooms, ambience is excellent, and all the areas are very clean. Slightly painful for your wallet, but the pain quickly goes away when you taste the food :) Will be coming back in the future.

It is the time of Binelle in Kochi, I stoped by Xandari for my Lunch. Being a food lover, I definitely took the opportunity to taste one of the Xandai special menu. The chef specials are marked with X logo. The view from Xandari Harbor is mind blowing, its by the pool side and water facing. You can see a whole lot of activities going around. The burger looked intresting and since I was in a hurry placed an order for Xandari Beef Burger I got my Burger but took more time than I expected. The Burger was good, beef patty, bacon, caramilized onion, with pickels. they servied it with some fresh vegetable salad, baked baby potatos. I had it with watermellon blend with mint, Basil and lemon. I got opportunity to meet the Chef. I asked him about the delay and he explained that, all orders are made from the scratch once you place the order, in my case from the Bun. They do not add any preservatives, hence it takes some time. Indeed the Burger was fresh and good and it is one of the best Burger you will get in Fort Kochi.

Such a FANTASTIC place to stay. The entire staff is so courteous, especially Christine at the back office. Who personally looks into making sure guests are comfortable. Room was perfect and no problem in the room at all during the 2 day stay. Food is mind blowing, all the meals we had, had such an authentic kerala flavour. Its was a treat to the taste buds. I Definitely recommend this place for a beautiful stay and food. The staff will make sure you have a comfortable stay. I am extremely pleased to have stayed here and the concerned attitude of the staff which is what ads to the stars. Kudos Xandari team!

Fantastic ambience!!! Must visit place! Very peaceful and serene!! Interiors are very tastefully done to keep the spice godown feel alive (before the restaurant this place was a spice godown). Food is amazing - the menu has been made keeping the international crowd in mind who probably frequent this place more than locals!

Such a calm and lovely place. You ll love the view. Evenings are the best times to be at this place. You can munch on the food while enjoying the sunset from your table. Main course is average but their desserts are pretty amazing.

At Restaurant 51 , Xandari Harbour. Tucked away amongst those little winding roads of Mattanchery ,stark on the harbour- the perfect place to sit by the water on a lazy Sunday and be plied by their global cuisine or come in for an early dinner and watch the magical sundown on the slow rippling water.......

We had an excellent stay at Xandari thank you to all the staff and what a great warehouse conversion! We will be back again. Thank you.

We recently had an opportunity of holding our monthly couple meet up at this out of the world hotel ...the ambience ...and the serene surrondings speak of the colonial architecture with bespoke interiors and landscape ....the infinity pool is ecstatic and restaurant not only serves soul satisfying food but also the food for eyes with its tastefully done decor !...with courteous and friendly staff and support from mrs Kalpana Menon we have made memories of lifetime and a party to remember....looking forward for more of such events at xandari harbour !

Fantastic location. I've checked out several luxury properties in kochi and found xandari the best in terms of location, luxury and value. Their design is modern and minimalistic and common sense. Staff are very friendly and engaging. Thanks to Christina for making our stay better. Deepu the resort manager also checked in on us to ensure comfort. Others were friendly too. If you want TV in your room, this is not the hotel for you.
