Review Sethi Da Dhaba - Kochi (Cochin)

Aleena Sara Varghese
Great ambiance. Very friendly staff. Great hospitality. Ample seating space. Nice place to experience Punjabi dishes. We tried butter naan, Aloo Paratha, paneer butter masala and raitha. All the dishes were delicious. The veg mix raitha had a really great quantity with a great amount of cut vegetables. Malayalis call it sarlas. You get a bowl of curd and pickle along with the aloo paratha and shallots and mint chutney along with butter naan. I really loved the place.

A Culinary Gem for Punjabi Delights! I had an amazing time at Sethi Da Dhaba recently! The Punjabi cuisine surpassed my expectations, and the warm ambiance elevated the dining experience. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, contributing to an overall delightful visit. If you're craving an exceptional Punjabi dining experience, Sethi Da Dhaba is the place to be! Highly recommended.

Will totally recommend it. Lovely dishes, friendly intelligent staff, good portions. Dishes we loved and would recommend included a mutton kabab starter, chicken patiala and their 1 liter special lassi.

Been passing by this place for years and was wishing to drop in someday. Finally got the time and opportunity to dine in. The food was good, service was great and ambience was excellent. Btw, sat outdoors getting a feel of proper Punjabi dhaba...

Experience was fantastic. They were kind enough to prepare and provide kid friendly food. Quite generous in not charging for it as well. The food was tasty and appropriate portion for our family. Ambience is well lit and provides a good comfort.

Infinitely delicious. The place is state of art and the food is served maintaining quality. The ambience is amazing. The variety is also brilliant. The way the owners treat people makes you want to return. The food is must try. The cons is that there are no options for single person visitors since most food portions are for minimum two people, so there could be wastage of food. Also, it may seem like food is too costly, but for the raw materials and quantity they provide it is affordable. People who complain are doing so without knowledge. I was concerned about this as I went through reviews before visiting. The prices are a necessity to serve delicious food with quality. Since the quantity is big once cannot try different options unless visited with family. Ideal to have options with lower costs and lower portions in the menu. The ambience deserve a special mention. Looking forward to visit soon with family.

Ambient place with good food. Went here for dinner. We had their Aloo Paratha, Lacha Paratha, Butter Naan, Tandoor Roti and Amritsari Chicken. The food was quite good and one full portion was enough quantity for 4. They do serve shallots and green chutney with their parathas. No stone has been left unturned in the interior decor to give a Punjabi vibe. Be it the lamps, the seating, the props. The place was indeed busy but we could get seating.

Great dhaba but very limited menu. Can improve the menu. Some dishes felt overpriced.

I was on a holiday with my family. Was about to leave from Kochi to Bangalore yesterday noon and just crossed this Dhaba. So stopped here for lunch. Food ... Excellent Service ... Excellent Look and feel..... excellent Cleanliness.... excellent Thanks to full team of the Dhaba and special thanks to Mr. Sethi for taking care of our order himself and ensuring we got the best and in short period of time. Highly recommend to all to go there and eat.

For north Indian food this is a good eating joint , My experience regarding " Tandoori Roti " is that they don't serve oven hot but pre - baked roti and heat it before serving ,They serve good quantity of food , Service is moderate which needs improvement .
Jeny Mathew
I should have read review before ordering. Nothing more to write . They should shut down this place. The quality nd taste we expected from previous experience is not thr anymore.
Judy Thomas
Ordered sarson ka saag thinking it would have the same great taste as in the past. But instead, was so bitter, and had zero flavor. Either they must have changed the chef or changed the dish preparation.
Anyway, not going to order from here anymore.
Arjun.pandotra
I had ordered Butter Chicken. It was so horrible that I couldnโ€™t even have 1 bite and had to throw all into dustbin. The chicken was stale and smelly. The gravy had too much of salt and black pepper. Total waste of money.
Hamza
There is no better place to get better Punjabi in Kerala.

Loved everything about this restaurant.....๐Ÿ˜€

I had ordered Mutton roast masala from this restaurant a day before, the quantity they had served was too less as it was mentioned in the menu that it serves 3 people and was priced at Rs. 590 apart from that they were not having Nan in the menu which made me so disappointed.
Shreyansh Agarwal
This place would not make you miss Punjab even in Kerala with Punjabi music all around and solid Ambience.
They have trucks and khatiyaโ€™s to give you the Punjabi vibe.
The restaurant greet their guests with a welcome complimentary drink to set the mood for a fine North Indian meal
Bhindi Masala is a must try.
Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
Umesh Goyal
One of the best hospitality I have ever seen. Owner himself is very passionate about the restaurant which is shown by his dedication and service towards customer. Food was really gooood.

Nice ambience, good service and courteous people. The butter milk starter was awesome.
John Eipe
This place has excellant ambiance and good food. It's slightly costly but no complaints about the quantity.

Ordered (parcel) chana masala today . For the price paid, the quality and taste was very disappointing, not good at all I must say . I Had ordered food a year back and it was all good then. Seems like the quality has gone down now. Hope the management takes heed and improve.

We had a very bad experience here tonight. We were 5 adults and a 1 year old kid. The first issue we had was related to taking a big table. Our baby was sleeping and we wanted to make her lie down by putting 2 chairs together. Whole restaurant was empty and still the staff was hesitant to let us take a bigger table. We had to reason with them for 5 minutes and then we just sat down there.
Now coming to our food order,
Rashmi Kabab - waiter had told us there will be 9 pieces. But finally it turned out to be 7 very small pieces and it was priced at Rs.520. We questioned the staff regarding the number of pieces he told. This was the explanation he gave : 9 pieces will be when chicken pieces are smaller. We have given 7 pieces as pieces are bigger. Please check attachment for seeing the size of pieces by yourself.
Punjabi chicken - waiter told us that this will be semi gravy with 4 pieces in it. We got a very loose gravy dish with pieces which stand apart from gravy. It tasted like the pieces were boiled separately and added to gravy when the order was made.

Highly disappointed as this is the most rated north indian food we get in Kochi. This is definitely not an authentic punjabi restaurant as they claim to be. Thankfully they "do not have other branches".
Jonathan Maheshwar
The ambience is neat and warmly, and the food is utterly delicious. But their music is of a pathetic choice, and they never change it. I know many who have stopped visiting the restaurant just because of their music. They can do so much better if they give more care to their music.
Asif Basheer
Authentic Punjabi cuisine at its best in Kochi avatar.

The ambience at night, the food and not to forget the thick lassi!!!

A must visit place in Kochi, if you love Punjabi food.
Manisha Tamu
Really beautiful ambience. Friendly staff. Good food at an equally good price. There are seatings available both indoors and outdoors. The place is equally good for couples as well as family
Shekar Sathuvalli
Authentic punjabi experience both food and decor . Must have Dal makhani and Amritsari kulcha. Parking was available easily. Has both AC and non AC section Very friendly service and staff .

Sethi Da Dhaba is the exact place u are looking for if u want to experience the authentic Punjabi food. The ambience is really nice. Feels like u are in a small Punjabi house. The food is very authentic but the quantity is comparatively very less compared to the price. But I did enjoy the food and the place.
Joshua Jiji Varghese
This an awesome place. Very friendly staff.Good ambience. Food, have no words to be described. This is one of mine and my families favorite.

Food is really gud... Serving is excellent... If u like north Indian food go fr it fr sure.... personally its my best place to have north Indian punjabi dishes
Lydia Abraham
Tried the chicken thali here. It came with rice, roti, sabzi, butter chicken, dal, papad and gulab jamun. It costs rs.240. It is very filling and has an authentic taste.
Zohra
We visited this place to eat mutton burra. And the taste was very good. The meat was soft but EXTREMELY disappointed with the quantity provided. There were like 5 pieces of meat in which just 2 pieces had any meat ln it... the rest was bones. All I remember is i was just sucking on some flavourful mutton bones. The aloo paratha was good. Sarson ka saag nothing different than palak puree no mustard green taste at all. The missi roti just ok.
Rajesh Vijayan
Been to the place few months ago food is good not great as expected to be service was good price a little on the higher side go a variety of menu to go through
Vrinda Suresh
The vibe of the restaurant is good but that's it. The food is below average. We ordered Paneer Pakoda, Masala Papad and Hara Bhara Kebab as starters. The Paneer Pakoda was average and the Hara Bhara Kebab was burnt. The masala papad was not at all spicy.
For main course we ordered Aloo Paratha, Dal Makhani and Jeera Rice and Suji ka halwa for dessert. The Aloo Paratha was okay ish. But the Rice was too dry and Dal Makhani was one of the worst I have tasted yet. The halwa was also not tasty at all. I don't understand the 4.1 rating this restaurant has.
Remya C
Had butter chicken, butter naan and dal tadka... The food was tasty.. A bit costly as there are Punjabi restaurants in kochi who can beat them in price and food quality...better pricing can put them in top in the list of Punjabi restaurants..

SETI DA DHABA
.
A new addition to the Zomato Gold Family.
As few of you were enquring about other authentic Punjabi Restaurants, so here we are at @sethidadhaba

to have a wholesome meal.
.
We ordered

Paneer Lababdar (โ‚น250)

Vegetable Jalfrezi (โ‚น250)

Rotis (โ‚น40)
.
The restaurant serves good quantity food for the rate. All this will be sufficient for 6 people for sure. The authentic punjabi essence and spices ensured a soulful meal.

The ambience of Sethi Da Dhaba is nostalgic and has a vintage look if you look around the restaurant. With old Scooters , bikes, Dhol, and other decorative hangings.

One other different thing I noticed is that at the end of the meal, along with soaf and sugar candy, they give small pieces of Gud (Jaggery). .
Overall it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend all of u to visit this place.
.
.
Rating 4/5
Vishnu Athreya
Food is decent enough, but the restaurant denied to accept our gold membership, even after talking to zomato,we did not recieve our gold benefits.
Abhishek Kumar
Food and services are very good, however even after talking to Zomato, they have not provided gold membership benefit. No acceptance of Zomato gold here
Arjun Rajeev
After seeing this restaurant on Zomato gold decided to give it a try. Went here for a lunch. They have a very nice setting and ambiance which gives you a very north indian vibe.

Called for chicken tikka, butter chicken, naan. When I told the manager about Zomato gold he seemed as little confused and said he wasn't aware on it, but after pushing him a little he confirmed the same with the owner and allowed us Zomato should benefits, although he tried to trick us into giving us 10% discount instead of 1 on 1.

The chicken tikka was good, but I wasn't really impressed with the butter chicken as it tasted quite different from the butter chicken I've had in the north also the chicken pieces were all bones. Over all I'd say the food is good for Kerala standards as it's difficult to find authentic north Indian cuisine here.

One Of the best places at Kochi.
Awesome flavor and yummy food. Wide spread of menu and staff is polite and sweet.
It's wonderful visiting this place.
Recommend and worth visiting โคโคโค

One of the major North Indian food joints of Ernakulam. The food they serve is pretty decent, along With a lovely ambience. The owner n the staff r also very friendly.
Pros:
1. Pretty decent food
2. Good ambience
3. Good variety of food

Cons
1. Gets pretty overcrowded at times
2. They reject Zomato Gold without any valid reasoning
3. Slightly on the overpriced end

Zubinology
One among the finest punjabi cuisine in kerala. I have frequently visited an authentic Dhaba back 5 years on the container terminal road kalamassery, but that is closed now. But happy such authentic punjabi flavors are back in cochin through this joint.

Chaas:- A very common refresher for North Indians and this had some added spicy flavor. Good

Hariyali Tikka:- Good (do ask them to grill properly though)

Dal thadka:- Good

Paneer Makhani:- Good

Butter Roti:- Good

Curd:- Average

Located at a prime placed, it gives an experience of tasty lands of punjab. Authentic food both by taste and quality. Great lassi ka glass which complements the food beautifully. Everything ordered was tasty and sufficient in quantity.

Nice place to try out some Punjabi cuisines. They do have a twist with their dishes . A bit spicy unless it's specified to be brought down . Their chicken dishes are recommended

Perfect for north indians. Really yummy food. Also the setting of the whole place is beautiful. Prices are justified. Also the quantity is good.

Pakka Punjabi ambience. Not a big fan of their biriyanis (might be because I am from Malabar area) but authentic veg and non veg curries. Servers are polite.

Authentic Punjabi food. Makke ke Roti and Sarson ka saag is worth trying. We skipped the popular Paneer Butter Masala and went for Veg Jalfrezi. Don't forget to top up with Patiala Lassi.
Aakash Singh
Worst service, over crowded , food is average not worth for the wait and the money .
There are better places in kochi to have north indian food who actually treat u like customers.
They may even ask u to share a table , i mean thats ok for a local place not for a place who have 5star rates , very disappointed

Never miss to eat here. If you are in Kochi

We ordered Butter chicken and sarsoon ka saag with Makai ki roti. It was delicious. They service was very quick. I even asked to put paneer in my saag. Which they have done it. Thanks for the delicious meal.
Nikhil Pariath
My first review on Zomato and what a restaurant to start with. North Indian food is a luxury in Cochin and Punjabi food even more but sethi da dhaba will pleasantly surprise you. Go for Paneer Tikka masala which was fabulous. The ambience specially in the evening is good. The staff is corteous and I would say even though it is not cheap but definitely not heavy on pocket as well. Totally Recommend !!
Sonu Sudhakaran
Authentic Punjabi food at Kochi!!!!
Nice ambience, good quality food and nice service.
Enjoyed it to the most. Definitely must try place to all Punjabi food lovers. Lassi is the best!!!
Not a normal lassi which u drink from juice shops.
Karthik Menon
โ€˜Mini-Punjab in the Heart of the Cityโ€™. Well-Adorned restaurant with antiques that one can relate to Punjab. Food is authentic and some of the ingredients are home-made (say, Paneer). Paneer Tikka is a must try for anyone visiting this place.
It also has an outdoor seating space though I will not prefer that option. Pretty crowded on almost all days but you will find seating space.
Need to Improve: Too many items within the indoor seating area, it will be great if it is restructured so that customers can walk freely!
Value for Money: 5/5
Hygiene : 5/5
Food Quality : 5/5
Service Quality : 4/5
Location : 4/5
Ambience : 3/5

As someone who's had authentic Punjabi food, I can say that this place is average at best.
If you haven't had good north Indian food, you might like it.

FOOD :

Paneer tikka : This was actually good. Definitely try it. It tastes like a proper tikka. Along with the green chutney, it's perfect.

Dal Makhani : I ordered this expecting the authentic, creamy dal Makhani that just makes my mouth water.
But what I got was a dilute dal Makhani that tastes less than average.

Paneer tikka masala : Again, nothing great. Just
average.

Palak paneer : This one tasted good.

Butter chicken : DISAPPOINTING. I expected the thick gravy and delicious butter chicken but again diluted. Though they were generous with the chicken pieces.

Butter roti : Roti was good but there was no butter to be seen or tasted.

Veg Biriyani : this tasted decent.

DRINKS :

Jal jeera : If you like jal jeera, you can order this.

LASSI : This was thick and tasted delicious.

Overall, if you keep your expectation low and don't expect authentic taste it's a good place.
Ambience is good and staff is polite.

Looking for as authentic as North Indian food gets in Kerala? This is the place. Starting from that chaach for a welcome drink(which I personally love and end up asking for extras) to their tandoori starters to their dal and non vegetarian main course, the food is purely Punjabi. Ajwaini Fish is also a must try. Parathas also are done very well.

Been to this place many times. The food reminds me of home back in Delhi. The staff is really friendly and warm and the owner who's present 90% of the times is a gem of a person and he always believes in positivity. It's a must visit place for people who want hearty North Indian food. A highly recommend Dhaba indeed. I always visit when ever I get the chance. Love it thereโ˜บ

This place is one of the few restaurants serving authentic North Indian food in the area.
The ambience is nice, the interior is good, the staff is courteous.
The mutton seekh kababs were nicely done, wasn't overpowered with masalas to kill the flavour of the meat, it came through nicely.
The Butter chicken was better than good being in a southern State, the chicken was really well cooked, very tender, the gravy was rich, creamy, smooth and no masalas and spice at all, but full of flavour.
The butter garlic naan was full of aroma and very soft.
The portion sizes were more than decent, overall a good dining experience.
Shwetha Vipin
If your craving for some Punjabi experience, go for it. Their ambience and food is pure Punjabi. The menu might seem a tad expensive but worth the quantity. Fine Punjabi dining!

Took a take away last week from SDB. The butter chicken was pretty bad. Makki di roti i will never want ever again. Butter roti was OK. Tandoori chicken average. Overall disappointed considering the price and the fact that this place had good food in the past.
Nikhil Attuvallil
Seems to be an Authentic Punjabi Restaurant. Food was so good and savoured in the flavour of ghee and butter. We tried Chicken Tandoori, Mutton Biriyani, Butter Naan and Chicken Patiala. Chicken Tandoori was of awesome taste but not that spicy though, Mutton Biriyani was of a different taste savoured with the flavours of ghee and butter, but it doesn't felt that heavy as the biriyani is medium spicy it is suitable for children's as well. Butter Naan was so tasty and Chicken Patiala was made of boneless chicken which is properly cooked and gravy was savoured with a huge amount fresh butter. Gravy was so good and this also was not spicy. This is also suitable for children as well. Overall food was so good and above the mark, not very spicy, suitable for children, good ambience and good service as well. A bit costly and parking is a bit difficult.

First and foremost only kochi has Sikh community with only Gurudwara of Kerala.
The food is really good, most near to Punjab ka Khana but still a bit tweaked to suit the taste buds of Locals.
This was the place for me.Highly Recommended for North Indian Food.
Expensive the only -ve

This is one of the only two places where chefs make authentic punjabi food in Kochi. This time when I went we (family) had Aloo Paratha, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan (stuffed) & Paneer Paratha along with Highway Chicken & Patiala Chicken. It was amazing. The balance between flavours was magnificent. To top it all off we had the Patiala Lassi which was also good. The ambience is great and has a really good vibe to it. The service is also very good.
Vandana Ramesh
It's a piece of Punjab in kochi. We get authentic Punjabi food in a rich Punjabi village atmosphere. Service is also good. It's a good feel to be there.

food was great especially Tandoori chicken.. Mutton Biriyani was another standout in the menu.. could have been a bit more spicier.. but that was covered with the attitude towards customers which is highly appreciable :)
Antony Lejo
We visited this restaurant on an afternoon. It seemed they would normally be closed at noon, and only available for dinner. However, on that day some large party was going on and they offered us to have food.

However, only limited menu items were on offer.

We had chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka together with some pulav and roti which was awesome.

The chicken tikka masala and chicken tikka we had were awesome.

It was a hot afternoon. Note that they do not have an Air Conditioned section.ย I am only making the rating 4 because of nonavailability of Air conditioned area.

Doesn't liked there dish's .Once tried panner Tikka masala & sarusu ka sagh it was very tasteless. I think better than them we can cook at home. I doesn't feels worthy going there.

The best dhaba food I had in kochi. The atmosphere is also a unique one. Tried there nawabi kebabs and junglee kebabs. It was so really cooked and the kebabs will melt in your mouth. The curry items are really rich in flavour and you will love them. This place is in my hitlist and defintly will go again ..
SUMEET MEHTA
One of the few places (literally few) where North Indian people can get some relief. Awesome food, great ambience, best service and amazing hospitality.. Thank you.. Shall keep visiting..

Have been to the place twice when I was in Cochin. We ordered garlic naan, paneer butter masala, dal fry and few chicken kebabs. Sadly food was not great, ambience was quite ok and staff were very friendly.

This place has the setup to attract foodies craving for some North Indian cuisine in this Bermuda triangle for good foods- Kochi. It has done justice to North Indian delicacies. We were pleased with their service, the ambience. The aura is really enthralling. Coming to the food, well they portray an array of options to choose from. Their kebabs exhibit variety, we chose chicken Seekh kebab, it was average. We followed that up with a plate of Chicken Biriyani, butter naan, Kasai chicken and Punjabi chicken. The butter naan and Kasai Chicken stole the show. The other two could have been better. Gulab Jamun and lassi marked the conclusion. It was refreshing and a change of taste. Getting something close to this in Kochi is great. A must visit for anyone craving for good food in Kochi. Maaje Karo, Khao piyo aur aish Karo!

If You need the feel of Punjab in South India then this place is for you. Awesome ambience, Authentic Punjabi food. Amritsari Kulcha is a must try. Service is also very nice.Highly recommended for North Indian food lover.

Sethi Da Dhaba!!!
Excellent paneer and loved your butter naan as well.
From the tandoor section I had your Afghani chicken and it was perfect as well. Looking forward to trying out more of your dishes.

Ambience is great. Very very Punjabi indeed. Food was average..nthn dt great. But the service was awesome. Downside is not enough place to park, as its on the side of the road..so u have to park along the length of the the same.

A great place to have Punjabi food. Nice ambience, Well maintained.ย I went with my dad and mom. My mom is really fond of North Indian dishes. So am I. We ordered for starters Tandoori Chicken and for main course Naan, Mutton Curry, Methi mushroom. No words to say about quantity. Good quantity. We liked the Mutton curry and Tandoori chicken.ย They served us well. Good work guys !! We will surely visit again.

Food is awesome here, no matter what you order!! I mean it's not like there's this signature dish or spread that makes them special, just every other delicacy is a treat to your taste buds. Off late we had been having only vegetarian dishes and my opinion hasn't changed one bit. The waiters and other floor staff are very attentive and courteous. Occasionally the owner himself would come and talk to people at random tables, showing his genuine interest in making our experience at his place the best. That fellow does know how to run a food joint, and do it exceedingly well!!! โ˜บ

Order: Malai chicken tikka, butter chicken (half), butter garlic naan, dal makhani, sweet lassi and lime juice.
Food: 3.5/5 The dal makhani was good. The rest was so so but tasted okay)
Ambience: 4/5 Love the vibe this place has to offer. One of the few dedicated North-Indian outlets in Kochi. Average in terms of food, ambience and service but if you look at what's available in Kochi in terms of authentic North Indian cuisine, this one does a decent job. Parking is a concern though, especially on weekends. Tried Biryani, Lassi and Aloo Paratha. Fairly good,

Food 8/10 , Ambience 8/10 and Service 8/10
From the second you enter it feels like you're in a dhaba set among its vibrant colours and aura . There's no other better feeling than a tummy full of food from here .

Ambience and service is good. Staff is courteous but the food is just average. Was expecting good vegetarian food atleast from this restaurant but it too disappointed.

This is a typical North Indian restaurant. The ambience is good. However, parking can be a concern as there is no dedicated parking space. We have to park vehicles in the road side. The places serves delicious food. There is a delay of almost 20 minutes to get the food once the order is placed. Please be careful to check the bill, as my bill had a curry which we did not even order. I feel the food is a tad overpriced. Overall, we had a good time.

We went here for dinner and ordered a lot - For starters we hadย Paneer Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka and Tandoori Chicken full, for main course we had Dal Makhani, Punjabi Chicken half, Sarson ka saag ( Cause come on yaar! ), with Indian breads like - Plain Roti, Butter Naan, and Makki ki Roti. All this and we still ordered a Patiala Lassi ( OMG ).ย
I'm serious when I say this, I couldn't find fault in any dish. Everything was great and different in it's own way. Spice was not too much but the food definitely was :P Five of us and we still ended up packing some food to take back home. The Patiala Lassi is amazing and a must try, cause it is something that is a tradition in Punjab, and order just one .. cause the size of it is definitely double XL :P.

Highly recommend it if you love Punjabi food (Just like me!). Worth the money :)
ย Price : Rs. 2194/- (for five).

For the full review check out the link in my profile :)

There are very few places in kochi where you get authentic North Indian cusine. There was a Tandoor that took up the flagship punjabi Delhi durbar style cuisines in the late 80โ€™s and 90โ€™s to acceptance among kochiites. Then with the advent of Kerala cuisine the North Indian taste buds took a back seat. Sethi da dhaba is a much needed respite. The kulchas and aloo parathas are perfect. You can eat the kulchas just like that. The butter chicken can get a bit on the sweeter side. The tandoori chicken was perfect and so was the dal tadka. The ambience and setting is good for a family dinner outing.

Love the ambience, the service, the quantity and quality of food. Worth a visit. During the weekend it might get a bit too crowded so I would suggest to go early for dinner.

If you are craving for real authentic North Indian food in Kochi just visit Sethi da Dhaba. Just loved their sarso da saag and makke ki roti. Also tried their paneer kathi rolls, paneer kadhai, chicken and butter naan. All were up to the mark. Visited this place couple of times and one must surely give a try.

Ambience is good. Food was good as well. We had ordered garlic butter naan and paneer butter masala as well as lassi. Lassi was thick. The paneer was good but was way too pricey.

Found the food to be average at best. It was a veg meal and maybe that is not their forte. Right from kabab to paneer dishes to even the mixed veg Paratha which had only paneer was very average.

I could hardly eat anything happily due to paneer overload. Service was fine, but the taste did not warrant the prices they were charging. The kulfi at the end was the only thing I enjoyed really.

Anyway I would prefer Sardarji Dhaba over this place.

Been to sethi da dhabha for dinner with family.
Loved their prompt service and the dishes.. tried cream of tomato, paneer tikka masala, latcha paratha, onion kulcha, aloo paratha, gulab jamun and kulfis. Cream of tomato was definitely a yum! Highly recommended. Though the aloo paratha and gulab jamun were a lil disappointing, over all, it was a happy dinner. Made my day :) Looking forward to trying more of their signature dishes.
Ps: the non vegetarian restaurant section is functioning separately in the second floor, m not sure if a life is available and i missed to see it.

It's a great place to have Punjabi food. It's a bit expensive, but the food is tasty. The ambience is very Punjabi with Punjabi music and turbaned waiters. It's a good place to have dinner with your family on weekends.
