The food was superb. I tried their mediterranean heat and al-ashroof chicken. Both of them were really good. Then we ordered a vannila shake and that was also great. Service was good. The place was really neat and clean.

One of the few restaurants which have good juicy alfahm. Alashraf is one of their signature alfahm which is very juicy and tastes well. This time we ordered Mediterranean crust and Thupka. Both were good and delicious.

We met up with some friends after long time and the place gave us so many more beautiful memories to keep. The service, food and ambience were all perfect. Well maintained. We enjoyed a lot. I guess al ashroof was my favourite, also tried the Afghani chicken was on the milder end. Chicken was severed along with naan, it was super appetizing. Great value for money.

Super fast meals are served here. Tried their vegetarian fried rice for lunch and I must say that it was good. Their home made Chilli sauce is a killer with infused flavors. My colleague enjoyed his Chicken Mandi. This restaurant even serves vegetarian Mayonnaise. How cool is that? The restaurant serves quick meals Ala-Minute! The turn over is fast.

It was a fine dining experience. Evening ambience is so soothing. The lights and music sets the vibe . After an hectic day I recommend you to visit this place as it gives a relaxing view. The food they provide is so delicious that we keep visiting frequently, their momos especially grilled one is mouth watering, we tried passion fruit juice which was quite refreshing. We also got a tender coconut pudding being first time visiting the restaurant and had a good chat with the owner too .Al Ashrouf here is quite famous for its taste and quality for a decent amount . The items are priced decently for its good quality and taste . Overall it was worth the try and surely recommend to try visiting this place

As you walk through to the air conditioned dining, the entire path gives you a different feel or ambience… Something totally different that I have not seen and it has a feel good as well as a oops feel.. There is a rush sitting in the open space or in the air conditioned hall… Some pockets are dark. We had their AL Ashrouf juicy chicken leg, AL Ashrouf chicken supreme juicy leg, cheesy beef fries and mojito.. The AL Ashrouf juicy chicken leg and AL Ashrouf chicken supreme juicy leg were amazingly great. The marination was too good.. the meat was well cooked and juicy… The cheesy beef fries was good too as well and had the right quantity of beef and cheese to give the taste and crispy feel. Mojito was not my kinda taste as it had other ingredients which have it a different feel and taste.. sure many or most people love it this way.. Waiters were courteous, pleasing and friendly… Must try if you are in cochin.

Al ashrouf from slices of spices is one of the best food i have ever had in my life... Really tasty. The meat is so juicy and tender. the masala is so tasty and havent seen the same from any where else. It has different varietes like leg or breast... normal juicy or supreme ( spicy) .. it comes in combo with wide range of bread varities. My personal preference is supreme breast with nan.

The food is good to taste although the chicken is a bit chewey. The ambience is good. The services are prompt. Prices are reasonable as well.

The first time you go here, you get an artistic vibe. From the hulks big green painting on the wall to the outdoorsie vibe. You fall in love with everything.<br/><br/>They have seating available both inside and outside the restaurant. The Al ashrouf chicken, named after the owners dad is the best chicken I have ever had. Everytime I visit Kochi, this is one thing I make sure to have no matter what.<br/><br/>Car parking could be an issue if there is a lot of rush. Situated near the High Court, friends and I have visited this place a few times in the past and I’ve since relied on food delivery apps to order stuff. Slice of spice is most famous for their Al Ashrouf chicken with their signature marinade. You can order the breast or leg pieces along with the naan and quite frankly, they were amazing. The marinade goes very well with the naan and the chicken is so succulent. My friend swears that their biryani is nice too. The service is super slow, so not recommended if you are looking to rush through dinner. <br/> One thing I’ve noticed though is that when you order the food in, the marinade makes it feel like the chicken is not cooked fully. So if you haven’t tried their chicken yet, do make it a point to go to the restaurant and have it there.

My friends and i used to love this place just for the mouth watering spicy al ashrouf..but it seems the management has changed and now not only has the taste significantly gone down, they even charge extra for extra mayo!! Three of us ordered food and only one of us completed al ashrouf we ordered... we even asked for the manager and the manager was no where to be found.. so all together slice of spice is going from a 5 star to BIG ONE STAR.

I was new in town when my foodie gym rats roomies in here ordered this yummy delight for us in dinner. if you re a fan of Mayonnaise sauce do text them or add note for extra ones. As it was holiday went for a ride to puthuvypin and on the way back went to slice of spice. Ordered their signature Al Ashrouf and Mediterranean Heat along with some moms from big fat moms. Al Ashrouf was nice the masala it have was spicy and have a great aroma to it. Mediterranean heat was juicy every bite was delicious. Momo's was also good. Ambience is set perfectly they have some outdoor setting also which is so cool. It was really a yum time 😋

The food was good i must say but it no longer is.Desired food is not available even in the early hours. And the service has become bad too.Though they say they accept all sorts of cards but at the type of payment they come up with lame excuses such as the network is slow and whatever. But at times they knowingly delay the payment so that it ends in a time out and the result is you end up paying in cash.

This review reflects my view on the Edappally/Cheranellore outlet ONLY<br/><br/>Today, 13.01.2018, I visited the Cheranellore outlet of Slice of Spice and have the following comments to make:<br/><br/>1. They are housed in a prime location.<br/><br/>2. The restaurant layout to say the least, looks like a foot cut to fit the size of the footwear.<br/><br/>3. The furniture though visually appealing is not at all comfortable. <br/><br/>4. Though fitted with 2 AC and around 8 fans, the place felt warm to me. Covering the front glass with tinted film would probably reduce the discomfort caused by the direct light from sun.<br/><br/>I ordered a combo meal, my colleague Arabic rice and my wife a different set of combo meal. We were told that it would take 25 minutes to serve the order. With smart phones to play around with, the time requested did not feel like an eternity, however, when the food was not served much after the requested time, we had to grumble and start questioning the waiters.<br/><br/>The order now started rolling out piece by piece. The two combo meals were first served with chicken only and the bread 10 plus minutes later, much after the chicken were consumed, which would have lost its taste if it were consumed cold.<br/><br/>The bread finally arrived and we had to consume it with water ever was left of the sauce.<br/><br/>It was indeed a meal that did not bring any joy or cheer, however, on the contrary it only created rage and anger.<br/><br/>The food was good, but I could not enjoy it the way it was meant to be. We had gone to this place for lunch after hearing about it a lot. Parking is definitely an issue here but the food made us forget about how hard was it to park our car. We orders the Smoked Chicken Balls soup and the Supreme leg with some Butter naan. The soup was extremely tasty and I wanted more. It’s a must try. Supreme leg again was absolutely tasty but I felt like it needed a bit more heat to it. The garlic paste that came along with it was so damn delicious and we ordered more. Overall it was a good lunch.

Al Ashrouf is the best thing that I’ve had in recent times...ordered the XXX Breast! Mustn’t miss.<br/><br/>Poor/Nil parking space. Ambience: average.<br/>Not a perfect place, but the food, that too this heavenly stuff called al ashrouf covers all the defects!

Famous for their Al-Ashrouf..<br/>Been here plenty of times and have had plenty of Al-Ashroufs.<br/>Have also tried their Persian Crust, Mediterrenean Heat, The Fried Beef Momos and the Fried Chicken Momos.<br/>Al-ashrouf and Mediterrenean Heat takes the spotlight and all the other dishes were ok to good.<br/><br/>Hope to be there soon for more Al-ashrouf.<br/>
