Review Mustake Multicuisine Restaurant - Kochi (Cochin)

Food was decent but the rate should have been reduced. I felt it a little bit higher while comparing with the same quality restaurants in Kakkanadu. At first, after we ordered the food and they served us fresh grape juice for free. Thanks for that. We can easily track the status of our food by using the link shared by the waiter. That shows how enthusiastic they are trying to bring technologies. Food was served on the correct time and was good. We have ordered beef steak with red wine along with other foods. The steak disappointed me it was slightly hard and old. Pasta and other continental foods were exceptionally good.

I went here two times. First time with my colleagues and second time with my family. I came here on last Thursday. I was on leave actually for baby sitting my kid. I got a call from colleagues saying that I should join the birthday celebration of one of my colleague. I came here with my kid. She was not well actually. But surprisingly she enjoyed the food from here. So I bring my family here. Pros. The taste was good Food is with good quality Ambience is good Cons. It's bit expensive. When I came with family, my bill is attached.

We went for team lunch and tried different options. Nice ambience, courtesy staff. They don't offer wide choice of options for different style, but being dedicated to whatever they serve. I really liked the chocolate brownie icecream they serve, it was delicious.

I tried Andhra Fish Fry and Fried Ice-cream.. Fish fry was spicy and tasty.. But quantity was very low.. Only 6 small pieces of fish "modha" with a cost of Rs. 320/-.. Felt like over priced.. The fried ice-cream was good.. But it's coating was not tasty.. They charged Rs. 130 per ice-cream.. Overall ambience was very nice..

Good customer service, nice ambience. We were welcomed with a fruit shot. Orders were taken politely and reconfirmed with us, used plates and tings were moved on right time. Table was also neat and well maintained. Couldn't find tissues on table. Felt like all menu item we're bit overpriced. The Deep Blue Sea we ordered was a coloured soda lime worth 110/-. Rest everything was perfect.

Perfect Ambience for a good Lunch/dinner. Food is tasty and clean too with less oil and spice, a bit pricey though. Very courteous staff. Tried Karimeen Polichathu, Spl Routher Biryani and Fried Rice. Except for Biryani, everything else was good. A nice place to chillout. I'm sure many other dishes are good too. Before you go for A la Carte, do checkout the Buffet menu as its reasonable at 199Rs. If you are alone for Lunch/dinner, Buffet is the perfect pick

Place where we get confused to choose what. I loved their varieties. Beautiful ambience and customer friendly staff. Few dishes are a bit pricy, but ther rice bowls are yummy and economical. Quantity wise, they serve alot. Dishes except for the chAtti beef, (rice mixed in beef curry, which was sad and didn't taste good)are really delicious.

as the name goes.. its really a "must take" restaurant probably atleast once.. the ambience is phenomenal as far as Cochin goes and its very lively with the staff giving you a comfortable time inside. food is quite good but not exceptional like the interiors done, i believe they could really perfect their food quality a bit more for a perfect five star rating.. 😊😊 nothing like we dint like the food, the food is good and hot served but its all the usuals we get everywhere.. they could work on their menu maybe!!

I fall in love with their cold coffee. Couldn't help myself. Pad Thai Noodles was a good choice and sweet corn soup was amazingly delicious. Dragon chicken was mouth watering. Must try. Over all food is of good quality, but quite expensive.

Mustake has mastered the art of classy yet comfy settings! I felt so at home! I loved the decor! Very urban decay meets industrial grunge meets bohemian attic...with stunning touches in nooks and corners of the restaurant.

Nice place for a family outing..great ambience and good service. The fried rice I ordered was nice, the quantity was also good. The chicken Curry's gravy was great with the nuts and all but the chicken didn't have any taste of the sauce, which I believe could have been better.

We went there with our family friends and d ambience is ver good. The staff is polite and helpful as v were with 2 toddlers.<br/>To start with we ordered Crispy chilly potatoes with spiced yoghurt and Grilled chicken skewers. The chicken skewers were super but the crispy chili potatoes were hyped it was nothing but pepper potato wedges and the so called spiced yoghurt was mato sauce. The taste was ok.<br/>For main course we ordered Alappey fish curry,Dal Thadka,Plain rice and 2 chapattis the fish curry was mind blowing. Tasty and delicious and the dal was also good. Overall a good experience.

Visited this outlet the other day with my friends from out of town for a business lunch. Quite an interesting place to dine out at. The ambience suits the cuisine. The barbeque fish  was the highlight of the meal. We ordered regular meals to accompany. Fresh fish and a sumptuous meal.

For parcels that we order through Zomato, they are not providing spoon. Not this first time though. After paying a premium price these are few things which we expect<br/>

Bad experiance,had ordered soup from this place.Complaint was high salt.Had informed them and they replaced me with same high salt.Finally they delivered it and after which we had stomach upset for 3 days.Looks like the chef was angry,or dnt knw the reason,but to me it dosnt look like a accident

Had only a hot and sour soup which tasted good. The interiors are well done and has a cozy feel. Also the service was good. Sufficient parking available underground. Would like to try other dishes someday

I've been to mustake quite a few times but i mostly order it online...my personal favourite is the beef steak with mushroom sauce...but once when we ordered chicken fried rice from zomato, the quantity was a bit less...<br/>the ambience of the restaurant is nice

Hope your food is good because Zomato has rated it good but both the dish we ordered had hair in it . Unfortunately the first one was with the first bite and the second one in the second dish which we consciously searched .

Went to Mustake yesterday quite an amazing dining experience.. Ambience was so calm.. We ordered Schezwan chicken finger, burnt garlic fried rice and chicken tikka masala... Chickn finger was too good... Fried rice and chicken tikka masala was tasty.. Even though it's bit expensive.. Overall enjoyed the food

There quantity is too poor and quality is some what okay but when you get on to quantity you need to buy more items not worth the money you give

I haven't been to their restaurant. But used to online delivery vere frequently. Their quality is okay. But quantity is really small. I mean u need their 2 dishes to feel soooo full. U paying 180 rs and other charges only to have few spoons of rice (of course I can't keep eat/drink gravy alone. Need something to have it with).

The place is not very great but an above average place to go. The food is also pretty decent. But for online ordering they reduce the quantity of the food too much.

Decent and not praise worthy but perfectly okay! Not that I did not find the food uninteresting but there wasn't the cut that made me feel it was masterclass quality for the price and reviews that were there,here in Zomato..however the presentation, ambience and seating were all comfy. The service was also good.

Visited this place after my parents mentioned that their food was amazing, and it didn't dissapoint. We were a little early for dinner and the place was pretty much empty. It's well set up and stands out well. Coming to the food, a number of items on the menu were not available including the vanilla milkshake. But the dishes we had were really good. The special rawther chicken biryani, chicken steak and the bolognese burger were all highly pleasing. I felt as if the the buns used of the burgers were a little too big considering the patty size. Butterscotch milkshake was delectable. Wasn't a huge fan of the complimentary grape drink. Decent service.

Well that was my soup Tom Yum Goong. felt like i am having a bowl of sea salt, Soups are not good don’t try please, had ordered it to fight my cold nose seems like they ended up sending me some high blood pressure

Not that great service, but definitely good food. The steak here is okayish. Decent interiors. Please do not try the pan milkshake here... The north indian breads and paneer varieties were pretty good.

Really nice ambience, with courteous staff and great food. One would be welcomed with a delicious welcome drink and good variety of cuisine. Personal favourites are pad thai noodles and prawns.

Nasty! That's the one word I need to describe this place. Lets start with the positives, the average weighting time is around 1 hour. We came at 1 pm and here I'm still here(3.18pm), with a hungry stomach. Soup, starters were all ok.<br/>The main course! Grilled Fish, we could smell the rotten smell when it was placed on the table, why didn't the chef or the server find this out?!<br/>Utterly disgusted!<br/><br/>I tried tasting it a bit to jus ensure we weren't mistaken, and well I'm gonna regret that forever. I can't get that taste of ma tongue! Yuck!

Chettinad chicken briyani taste is good.. But the restaurant can concentrate more on the type of rice used.. Quality also can be increased to some extent.

The ambiance is good. The service is ok. Food is also ok. The burger was good. Naan and paneer were nice. The spegetti was an absolute failure. I don’t think they have good pastas there. Biriyani was normal.

I ordered chicken noodle, but they delivered me mushroom noodles and the taste of mushroom was not at all good. I had also ordered chicken fried rice, but I could barely find any chicken in it and that too was not fresh. I would never recommend this place.

After a long awaited wait I was finally able to go to place.The ambience of the place was to enjoy some quality time with family and friends. We ordered Bang Bang beef, parotas, masala beef curry, schezwan fried rice and some carrot halwa with ice cream to top it up. The recommended bang bang beef was quite good, overall the food was average. The quantity of food was quite filling.

Today ,the chiken lolipop ordered worh rs.280 turned out to be 6 pieces of cornflower mixed with sauce rater than chiken where 1 kg chiken have a rate only rs.170.such a disaster ..!!!!

Amazing food and ambiance but waiting is time is hell too much , u need to wait minimum of 40 mins to revive ur order. Service is very slow and staff behave with little bit of arrogance towards the customer. Though food and ambiance is good but people should try this restaurant only if u have enough patience to wait for it

Food is nice, choices are good, but overpriced for what they offer wrt competition , ambience is good, but the poor and untrained service makes a mess of everything else. Staff does not understand what you ask for and bring drinks once entire food is over and do not even offer you water. Used to be a good place, but no longer.

Mustake is a great place for great food and good ambiance. The decor is warm and welcoming and so are the team members. They have a wide range of dishes under each category that they cater for. The menu is indeed exhaustive yet a delight to go through. From drink and starters to the main course and dessert, they have numerous options to choose from. Our picks from the place - Crispy Honey spinach, Arabic grill ( mixed platter), Red Wine Steak, sesame chicken, sliced beef strips with veggies and the continental spread. A must try for foodies round the corner and beyond!

We started with sweet corn chicken soup.It was decent and as per standard.For starters we ordered dragon chicken, irachi pidi beef, prawn honey glazed..Starters where delicious with good quantity.For mains we decided to try continental, but regret the decision now.The penne arrabita paste we ordered was not good.It was nowhere near an actual pasta dish. The chicken steak was ok but the grill fish was not actually grilled and had no sauce with it. The chicken noodles was good and kids loved it.Then we had ice cream and mojitos which were good as well.The major letdown was the pasta.Otherwise a great place to visit with lot of options.<br/>Very nice ambience and good seating space too.

The place needs to be named "MISTAKE". we regret our family dinner before Christmas at mustake. Food is terrible, so is the service. They lost track of what all was served and took an hour to get us the bill, there is a huge shortage of staff too.<br/>

Thank you Zomato..<br/>Anyway, we were in Kochi on business and found this place for lunch.<br/>The ambiance of the place is comforty.. a semi fine dine like setup.. the staff is effecient and supportive..<br/>The menu is exhaustive covering all possible cuisines.<br/>We went for the South Indian non veg food.. what I found a little troubling was the quantity. They can improve on that. The chicken roast curry was very thick and oily. Could be a little careful with the oil. The fish was very small in size.<br/>But the taste overall was pretty ok.<br/><br/>With a little improvement on the food this can be a very good option. May be the other cuisines could be better..<br/><br/>In case I am in the vicinity will surely give it another try.

Had the worst experience today. My family and I went to Mustake for lunch and found worms on the food plates and table. When we complained they just shifted our seats to another table. They didn't even bother to replace the food. We ate very little, had to leave the rest of the food because of what we had witnessed. We payed the bill and left. The worst part is they didn't even apologise for it and when we were leaving the manager conveniently went into the kitchen so that he didn't have to talk to us. I will never go back there and would never recommend Mustake to any one.<br/>

We had ordered malai kebab/ butternan / palak paneer and mushroom fried rice . Out of which only palak paneer and the rice was worth eating . The kebab was dry as if the pieces were taken from tandoori chicken and later dipped into malai and then made into the kebab we ordered. The butternan was so hard we needed a lot of strength to tear into pieces . When complained about the food , I was told the chef is new .

Nice restaurant with friendly staff, reached at 10:30pm on a weekday and restaurant was almost full, this speaks the popularity of the restaurant. Idiirachi is very good, so is the Chinese dishes.<br/>But at rush times there is definitely shortage of staff in kitchen

Mustake is pricey. But their rice bowls and combos are just amazing!! It’s only available for online orders but they are so damn good. I’m a fan of their Tharavad beef curry and ghee rice bowl. They have so many options in veg and seafood too. And the price is reasonable for the same! It’s a must try.

Ambience is really great. The variety of food for vegetarians needs to increase, it's mostly non veg. The veg food tastes good, but the pesto pasta was a bit too creamy for my liking. The sizzling Brownie and ice cream is really good!

Tried this place out on a Saturday Afternoon. The place wasn't really crowded. Ordered 2 fried rice and noodles along with 2 chicken specials. They took more than half n hour to serve the food. The food wasn't that great. And the Schezwan Chicken Noodles wasn't spicy at all. So I asked the waiter to make it a bit spicer. He took it back to the kitchen and 10 mins later came back with the noodles covered in chilli powder. Probably the worst dining experience I've had.

Ordered home delivery on Zomato after seeing rave reviews on the app. Ordered rice combos - Angamally Mango Fish Curry with rice and Pepper prawns with garlic fried rice. However our experience was mixed -<br/>1. Although tasty, portion sizes were not commensurate with the tariff. I have<br/>2. Despite imposing a hefty packing charge, the rice and Curry were packed in a single bowl. By the time the order reached in an hour and 15 minutes, the gravy was completely absorbed by part of the rice and the rest of the rice remained dry.<br/>The fare was therefore run of the mill and far below expectations.

They have an amazing choice of starters.Biriyani and other rice dishes i didnt feel that much great though.Ambience and staffs are nice.Place is little expensive.You can go once in a while to have some variety dishes.

It's a fine dining place.its a dark themed restaurant, when the curtains are pulled up it's a bright place. The biriyani was really good. And the service was splendid.

Excellent food. We ordered half chicken tandoori which was lip's macking with tasty Green chutney. Also we ordered Sechzwan noodles. Excellent North Indian food as well as Chinese<br/>Do try it.

So far, tried their Jeera Rice combos with Butter Chicken, Peshwari Paneer and Lasooni Methi Chicken. I'd always ask for plain rice instead of jeera rice since I'm not a fan.<br/><br/>Loved all the combos, and you'd be full by the end of it. A complete meal in a bowl.

When I had the dish from restaurant It was awesome and delicious. However regret to say that the same food when ordered is uncooked and bad quality standards.... to be precise the Nan is half cooked and the Paratha are not fluffy and the Chicked Mughalai is stuffed with egg omelette......Appreciate if you can maintain the same quality for the delivery food as the same served at restaurant..... The restaurant has got a pretty decent ambience. Its a good place u can find in its locality. Family frndly. Surely a go-to place with ur date. The food is not tht fancy good, its alright though. Lots to select from. Head out here if u wanna eat in peace. ☮️

Chicken Hakka Noodles - 8/10<br/>Tastey and recommended for a try.<br/><br/>3). Beef steak with red wine reduction - 5/10<br/>We will get more quantity compared to other restaurants I tried. But taste vise it was below average. Mashed potatoes are also not good. Not recommended.<br/><br/>4). Tenderloin steak with pepper sauce - 7/10<br/>Tastes better than red wine steak. We will get more quantity compared to other restaurants I tried. Mashed potatoes not good.<br/><br/>5). Mustake special chicken grill - 7/10<br/>Grill was good. But i recommends to go for other dishes bcoz other restaurants serve better grills.<br/><br/>Overall the food was not up to the mark as compared with the price. I have been there once and ordered food multiple times. Always been satisfied with the quality, quantity and the service of food. The rice bowls are a must try. Not very much budget friendly but the dishes are worth the prices. As the name suggests, there is a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines available. Overall a good place and would suggest people around Kakkanad to definitely try out this place.

First and foremost go for their rice bowls which are only available via food delivery applications.<br/>Real quality food served with the highest of quality and professionalism. A good meal to enjoy if you can look past the price.

We experienced a high wait time. The quantity of food was less like if we compare it to likes of diwans. Rate priced a bit high. Overall okay.

It was a nice experience here with a warm ambience. We ordered murgh malai tikka and rashmi kebab. Both dishes are authentic by its own. But the price was a bit higher.

DRAGON CHICKEN: <br/>What i love about mustake is the way they cook their  meat, its always perfectly juicy and well cooked from outside to inside, i loved their Dragon Chicken, Must try.<br/>- 29-10-2018 ⭐ [ 3.5/5 ]<br/>SIZZLING BROWNIE:<br/>Had one of the worst experience after ordering SIZZLING BROWNIE, first of all there wasn't nothing sizzling about this dish, it was literally a brownie with icecream on top of a foil paper served on hot plate, there was no chocolate syrup or hot chocolate along with it to neutralize it.<br/>The worst part was the FOIL PAPER which they kept under the brownie, after few spoons you can see that the Foil-Paper melts and comes along with it, i had to spit it out many times. and since it was kept directly on top of that hot plate the brownie starts to get fried and a good portion of it gets stuck to the plate.<br/>( I have had sizzling brownie from almost all the cafe in kochi, and i am comparing this with them. )<br/><br/>Advice to the Cafe:<br/>> Serve along with a layer of Sizzling Hot Chocolate so that the heat gets neutralized and the brownie doesn't stick to the pan.<br/><br/>> Throw away that Foil Paper for god sake..<br/>- 15-10-2018 ⭐ [ 0.5/5 ]<br/><br/>FRIED ICECREAM:<br/>You will love this Dish for sure they serve it Beautifully amazing, Good quantity and the crust has the right amount of sweetnes if on budget😋 Quantity is good for 2<br/>- 15-10-2018 ⭐[ 4.5/5 ]<br/><br/>TANDOORI CHICKEN (Half) : Taste was really good, the chicken was tender and juicy, Quantity was less than half but more than quarter, Pudhina chutney dint taste pdhunia.ish...😋😁 ,Ambience was really good with great customer service.<br/>- 12-10-2018. ⭐[ 4/5]

Bang Bang beef and Chicken 65 biryani. The beef was out of this world... crunchy, sweet, sour, and an absolute explosion of flavour. Biriyani can't actually be called a biriyani though, because they serve plain rice with pieces of chicken 65 in it, and it lacks any kind of spice due to lack of masala in the actual biriyani itself. It's served with a gravy and a salad.<br/>Pretty good ambience and good service.<br/>Going back for more soon...

Tried Shanghai chicken fried rice and veg Manchurian. The fried rice was very satisfying but it did not had a good balance of salt element. But it was good. Quantity wise too it was very good. The veg Manchurian with its sauce was perfect for the fried rice. The staff were really helpful and the ambience with dim lights and good seating makes you to enjoy your food more

This is a regular place when it comes to ordering food. Rice bowls are a must try. Been there once and the ambience is nice with good vibes and obviously good food. A little expensive.. but completely worth it.

Not happy with the quality of food, tasted stale,caused stomach upset...staff were cold n act like robots! Price on the higher side..Very average place.Going MUSTAKE was a MISTAKE! its definitely a place to be missed!😡😡

Mustake is one of the most highly rated restaurants in kakkanad. So obviously, we went in with high expectations. The ambience was amazing. Very tastefully done. The service was satisfactory. But the food was a let down.<br/>As a starter, We ordered bang bang beef because it was the most recommended dish on Zomato. It was very good.<br/>For main course we ordered American chopsuey and beef steak with red wine reduction. The American chopsuey was only average. The sauce didn't taste great and lacked flavour.<br/>The beef steak was the biggest disappointment of them all. It was pretty hard to bite and also was very bland. Overall we were disappointed by the food.<br/>It's sad because the menu was so vast with a range of dishes under various cuisines and looked very promising.<br/>

Mustake has a wide variety of cuisines from around the world. We had the Bang Bang Beef, Spaghetti Arrabiata, Cannelloni Florentine and Chef's Special Dum Biriyani. Each of these dishes were mouth-watering. They serve really good portions as well.<br/><br/>The place has been done up in a tasteful way and the service staff is very attentive.<br/>Anuj Nair<br/>

I'm a huge fan of their beef curries and rice bowls. Their beef curries taste home made and are super delicious. I had their rice bowl which had ghee rice and 'tharavadu beef curry' which was realty satisfying. When you go to their restaurant, they welcome you with a drink and the quantity and quality of food offered is also good.

Loved the whole experience here. Friendly staff and some really good food made this an excellent experience. The interiors are nice with a good ambience. Price is a little high but definitely worth it.<br/><br/>The bang bang beef was definitely a winner.

A restaurant widely acclaimed by most foodies in Kochi hence we decided to try this place for lunch. The place is usually packed with IT techs but it was quiet when we got in.<br/>The restaurant has a romantic aura and whimsical arrangements with dim lights, hanging bulbs and whatnots. They serve you with refreshments once you take seats. The staff is friendly and professional. We ordered Spaghetti, Cannelloni, Thai Chicken Fried Rice, Chef's Dum Biriyani and Bang Bang Beef. Bang Bang Beef is a highly recommended dish and its juicy flavour hits you every time you bite on the long cut pieces, though I'd like to point out it was a little too salty for my taste. The Biriyani and Thai fried Rice were killer dishes and it's evident they were prepared very well. Cannelloni was soft and rich in white sauce. I wasn't impressed with the Spaghetti. The flavours were weak and it was unadventurous. A huge letdown.<br/>Mustake is definitely worth multiple visits. :)

We 8 people went here. Have tried items like hot & sour veg and chicken, prawns, Honey Glaced spinach, Chicken 65, Thai fried Rice, Egg fried Rice, butter nan, paratha, paneer butter masala, Sundae Surprise and lime juice. Everyone is happy with the food and none of the items disappointed.<br/><br/>The stand out was Spinach Glaced with Honey. Everyone loved it. Ambiance was very good. Loved the interior design.

Really disappointed with the quality of food served in this restaurant. Me and my kid were not week for 2 days after having lunch from Mustake. Chicken lollypop we ordered was not at all fresh and had black colored area inside the piece. Even though they replaced the dish, we were not brave enough to try that again. Not at all recommended 0/5
