Review Cafe Coffee Day - Kochi (Cochin)

A wonderful place to hangout with your friends or anyone for that matter. The ambiance is really good. As always the hazelnut cappuccino is my favourite here. The brownie is also yummy and the staff treat you with great warmth. Overall a great experience.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Café Coffee Day! The Caramel Frapoe I ordered was a true indulgence for my taste buds. Its rich and creamy caramel flavor, combined with the perfect balance of coffee, created a refreshing and satisfying drink. The ambiance of the cafe provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy my beverage. The friendly staff added to the positive experience, ensuring prompt service and a welcoming environment. Without a doubt, my visit to Café Coffee Day for the Caramel Frapoe was a five-star treat that I can't wait to enjoy again.

For me CCD outlets are either a love or hate affair. In Kerala the hate angle comes in either due to the relatively smaller space or the location. In this case, however, the outlet impressed me by its space, parking spaces right in front and the location. The staff there are polite and deliver excellent service. They also keep the place clean and neat. Soon after my first visit, I made this my morning hangout especially when a report had to go in. I looked around to see that I am not the only person with the same idea. This CCD outlet is special and highly recommended. Edit (28/07/2022) - in my visit, I found that service levels has decreased significantly and the menu has changed quite a bit. The outlet was lively as ever. Still recommend the outlet but reduced it's rating down a notch. Be careful while ordering and check ur order before accepting it.

Never let you down. My late night spot. Very safe for women and family to have some late night snack , dinner or coffee. Staffs are very courteous.

Best place for Coffee lovers. Quite and Calm place. Nice place to come for serious planning for future endeavours. Different kind of coffees available. Cookies and other snacks were there. The interior and furniture used gives it an exotic look.

The ambience was very good and the coffee is excellent as always. The service is good and there's ample amount of space and infra to sit comfortably and dine and do work. There are several plug points and free wi-fi for one to work comfortably and efforlessly.Would visit again

Nice ambient place to spend your time with work or with friends. A bit expensive but for the service it can be. The food and beverages are were great. One thing negative thing is the evening time sitting next to the glass area, direct sunlight falls that's irritating. If possible they could cover it with some stuffs would be great.

As always CCD never fails to impress me, whether it be the ambience of the place, the service or the dishes. Had a good time over there.

Situated in Kaloor-Kadavanthra road, opposite to IGNOU, Kaloor. More than their menu I love the ambience there. It's a neat Place for small meet ups, small client meetings etc. You can even sit a full day there, no one will ask you to leave 😄 Their menu keeps on changing every month. Please don't try Tender coconut refresher. Disappointed yet 5 star for the ambience and privacy.

Great place. It’s not very crowded whenever I have been there. A calm place to relax and enjoy the view of the bustling city life while you have your hot brew. Overall a great place !!

The place is not at all crowded. I love their sandwiches😍 and currently my favourite smoothie is Rasmalai smoothie. Also bought their Oatmeal Cookies, Chocochip cookies, Mints etc. Worth the price 😁

I think it's better if this particular CCD didn't exist. Total rip off for the price and the quality of food is pathetic.

Coffee -the very essence of CCD- this particular CCD has ensured that the barista will not know what type of coffee your probably asking for, even if it's from the menu.

CCD is quite a thing of the past really. I have vivid memories of hanging in both the ravipuram CCD and this one. Growing up along with CCDs were fun really.

The Indian version of the Starbucks, CCDs were the only place we as students could go and still wouldn't really burn a hole in our pockets.

That beings said, we happen to go into this joint a few days ago. Contrary to my belief, the place and the food turned out to be Good !

So here's my verdict. Don't write off this CCD. They've still got some fight left in em.

Cafe coffe day is a big name globally. One thing which is very common irrespective of the outlet you visit is jaw dropping prices.Anyway i love their brownies. It's simply yum.I used to be a fan of their cappuccino. Not anymore.A good place where quality is not at all compromised but at the same time price aint't compromised too 😂😂😂.

Food is awful but of course it's CCD what more can you expect. The coffee is alright but crazy pricey!
I like the ambience of this place though. It's quiet in the mornings. Perfect place to just take a book, have a cup of coffee and read alone.

I felt so dissapointed, when they said they had no ice-tea, seriously cafe coffee day without ice-teas, when i asked them they said the stocks over, whats a cafe coffe day with ice-tea. Felt so dissapointed.

A good place to catch up with friends for a casual evening . The ambience is similar to other CCD outlets and has very limited seating capacity . The service has to be improved and most of the items are slightly overpriced .

Well hooray for CCD. they are such a relief to find in the Indian urban landscape. I managed to find this one ---easy to walk past as it's upstairs. King sized latte is good value. And corporate headquarters take note-- please don't change the comfy red couches.

CCD is the Star Bucks of India. Try the Chocolate Cakes. Everything else has a been-there-done-that feel to it. Nice quiet place to sit and have a conversation. Overpriced for most of it though.

Their service is bad and so is their food. Their pricing is unreasonable. The experience was totally disappointing. The only things I liked were their Hazelnut Karat Cake and their Hazelnut Cappuccino. The latter's taste varies with every visit.

The ambience and location is great for hang outs with friends or for a date !! But the food is not worth for money except the delicious chocolate cakes they give.

This review is based on my multiple visits to this CCD, the last of which was in 2011. I will make a visit on my next visit to Cochin and update the review.

===============================================================================
The CCD located opposite Shenoys used to be our most frequented hangout spot at one point of time. Times have changed and being away from Cochin I don't know how much things have changed here. But this CCD is important when I think of my student days.

This was the first CCD in town and when it was opened, it was kind of rave. CCD was a big thing when it came to town, quite like a Hard Rock Cafe coming to town. As we started visiting this place, sizzling chocolate brownie became our favorite thing on the menu. For us students paying 70-80 bucks for a coffee never made sense ( unless it was a date.. ;) ). All the future visits were mostly after a movie or lunch at chariot for the brownie. The brownie used to be really sinful and extremely yummy. Coming to think of it, the amount of calories consumed here through brownies would be simply mind boggling.

It was 100 bucks for a sizzling brownie when it started. I am sure its more now. With a plethora of options for coffee around, CCD would find the going tough. Will find out how well they are doing soon.

Worst CCD i have ever visited in india. The quality have gone down drasticallly over time. Ambiance is just like any other ccd. A nice place to kill time before going for a movie at shenois.

Few times a saw the cafe area being stocked with too much of boxes and all which gave a feeling that i am in some godown. Not a thing we expect from such a big chain.

Menu is just average like any other ccd

Verdict: avoid , there are many other options available in city
