Review Chai Nation - Kochi (Cochin)

Ajmal Basheer
a contemporary tea cafe serving a large selection of snacks and drinks. has an air-conditioned seating space and an outside patio. Some of the nibbles are excellent and seem like fusion cuisine. My only suggestions for improvement are to alter the menu and expedite counter processing.

A modern day tea shop with a wide range of snacks and beverages. Has out door and air conditioned seating area. Some of the snacks appear like fusion dishes and are very good. The only improvement I would like to see is a change in the menu and faster processing at the counter.

Was the place i used to go twice everyday. Excellent snacks and food, Varieties of Tea, Very nice staffs, Good ambience, Inside and outside areas to sit. You can park your vehicle nearby also. Well if you're working in an IT firm, with stress, deadliness and tensions. You need a place to come and sit for a break, with friends and have a tea. For me its more than a cafe. :) My Nation. My Chai.

Chai nation is all about chai. Full tea, half tea, masala tea and all. They are to good at these. Other than chai various food items and drinks are also available here. Now Pani Puri type things are also added to the menu. The service is also good . Your evening chai, better take from here. Good taste everytime.

Tired? Cough? Cold? Headache? Hook ups? break ups? gossiping about the boss? .Chai Nation is the real place to socialise. This is our favourite hangout place inside Infopark. Chai lovers will definitely like this place. They have a lot of varieties of tea, coffee, coolers, shakes, sandwiches, cakes and other healthy snacks. The rates are reasonable, best quality and they taste really good too. They use their own special tea powder.Ambience and courtesy of the staff are excellent.Space around the outlet is beautifully utilised which gives us a relaxing and fresh ambience.Hence, it’s not just any break, it’s always a tea break. Recommended !!!

One of the best chayakada in Infopark. Its a modern chayakkada with modern amenities. Different varieties of tea, coffee, shakes, coolers and soomany varieties of snacks are available. Everybody who visits Infopark or working techies should try this place. Its working 24 hrs. Will get food from morning to late night. Sandwiches, chapati chicken fry and noodles are there for late night workers. The products are not that costly compared to other stalls and shops inside Infopark. The ambiance is good as it has both open and closed rooms for comfy chayakada enjoyment...

Delicious variety snacks are available here. The Kati roll is the famous one. There is not much space to sit and eat around but still the ambience and staffs are very nice.

Chai Chai Chai...It's the place for chai lovers. Must try the new sulemani tea. The price is gradually increasing though. Good sitting space available for some conversations. Honestly speaking, I liked the tea for what this place is meant for! fairly cheaper price. I also tried cake was soft and delicious and Veg puff which was fairly fresh.

It is an excellent place to have a variety of tea options. They also serve different types of snacks though their counter. They are famous for their own cake brand Cake Nation.

ChaiNation is where you enjoy a nice cup of tea with your friends. I get refreshed and recharged by their Classic Black Tea. Nothing beats a Black Tea. Then there is a lot of snacks, cakes etc. The tag line is don't come alone, bring your friends and buy them a tea, and come more often.

Recently we had a team outing to Idduki and I was the person incharge to arrange for the logistics. Having all items checked off my list, my only concern was getting breakfast hot and fresh. Since we had to start early at 6.30-7.00 am in the morning, this was a great challenge. I approached many eateries and learned that the food would be packed overnight which was not acceptable, considering we had people from the senior management travelling with us. I walked into Chai Nation at the eleventh hour with my request, and asked if they could deliver fresh packages at 6.30am in the morning. I was informed that their equipment has recently been faulty and they have certain challenges with bringing in man power at such early hours. However, within hours of my request, I was called back by the team, and was assured of the delivery. The team efficiently brought in new equipments and manpower just to meet our needs. To our great surprise, when i walked in to the outlet, I was greeted personally by Vivek who is one of the proprietors of the team, and i could learn that he was present there to make sure the delivery is made efficiently at the agreed time. The food was fresh and hot, but what made our day was to see the staff and management, who came together at the crucial time to deliver excellence in service. My firm follows the motto "Exceptional Client Service" and here is yet another firm that is realizing the ideal. Kudos to the Chai Nation team on the quality service we received. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and truly believe that we will be associated together for a much longer term. All the very best!!

A good place to kill some time with chai (Tea). I have been here for several occasions and had several items like Bread-omelet, tea, coffee, Cardamon Tea, Cakes, Ice Tea, Cold-Coffee, burgers, sandwich and so on. I do recommend this place.

A small chai meetpoint to talk.. over different kinds of chai (in a good sized glass - perfect for long convos) and small snacks and sandwiches. The chai is good and so is the service and location.

A small tea shop inside infopark and it doesnt meet my expectations... but a perfect place to hav "masala tea" , ordinary tea and cardamon tea etc. I had some snacks including cakes.( tried there choclate and dates cake) dont buy dates cake it is jus like a ordinary plum cake (i dont recommend at al) and also i tried there chicken roll (that was good) if u want only tea you can definetly go fo it .....place is too smal but they maintain it clean . Thats al folks i experienced from chai nation 😊
Taste: 2.5/5 (try there tea)
ambience: 2.5/5 (ordinary clean tea shop)
service: 2.5/5 (average)
total: *3/10*

It's a good place for the evening tea. They have very well utilized the space. Been there twice, and the experience was pleasant. Can't go there when it is raining as mostly we would be standing and there are no covers.
Bhavya Venugopal
Nice little place inside Infopark which serves good tea and snacks. Love their sandwiches - the bread is always grilled to perfection. Value for money, prompt service, good food.
It is funny the summer has hit us with a vengeance like never before and I walked to Chai nation at the hottest time of the day (3:08 PM) to beat the heat. I have always been eccentric but I think I have outdone myself today by taking this break at work to walk in this scorching heat to sip tea. I mean hey, we all have our ways!

Thank heavens they have an air conditioned section for such sultry days.

Located within the premises of Athulya inforpark , you won't end up baffled on where it is positioned thanks to the big hoarding that directs you.

Being a self service place they have a window of sorts to aid the weak hearted to order without stepping out from the temporary comforts of an air conditioner.

Albeit disappointed on being informed that they were out of combos ,I was in good spirits to prevent that from getting me down.
I was looking forward to having some cookies.
Who doesn't love cookies and Chai! D'oh noone. Oh well next time.

I ordered myself a regular tea and a banana chocolate cake and decided to surprise amma with a nutty carrot cake and a banana chocolate cake.

The wait time is almost negligible. I would have liked to receive both together than one at a time.
The banana cake was delish . I did have my hopes high for this place but there is always a tiny voice that that alerts me from having my heart broken. Nevertheless it wasn't the case of a heart break warfare .
I am extremely finicky in the matter of my Chai . I don't even enjoy home made tea because not many people get the exact Constitution right.Mum dislikes making tea for me for the same reason. The tea here is good although not the best.
The cake was spongy and splendid. In my opinion it is a must try.

The service is good. He had some regulars from the inforpark barking at him for atention but he chose to stay and patiently waited for me to make my mind and eventually moved over to them. Not many people do that. I have not seen many patient folks in tiny eateries like these where they have many customers to attend to. So Kudos!!

The best part about the place is that it shouts VFM. The above mentioned cost me 100 RS. After my migration to Cochin this is the first time I have received a bill of 100 RS at an eatery despite purchasing 4 items.

My sentiments are that I am going to be a regular here. I have a gigantic sweet tooth and am swept by fatigue by the end of each and every working day . I don't think I need any better reason to make a visit.
For the folks who haven't tried CN please do. You wouldn't regret it .

Note to the management : Do spread your wings and move to different parts of the city.

PS: I have attached their menu as it is missing on their Zomato page.

This is our favourite Chayakkada in Infopark. If you want homely cakes and snacks, here is the place! My favourite items are Creamy Mayo Chicken and Mango Shake! They serve lot of healthy snacks like Kozhukkatta, Ela ada etc. The location behind the Athulya building is a perfect spot for a tea shop. They have provided wooden tables, treeside benches which gives us a naadan chayakkada feeling! I recommend this place.

Mr. Abraham, the manager, once invited me to his joint., chai nation. In my mind was a small coffee shop. But the joint was completely different. From natural dining ambience to air cond. Areas, from varieties of snacks to varieties of juices and chai's... Keep going buddy..

Love the place! They offer taste, variety, quality, and ambiance. The different varieties of tea (my fav is the mint one), those hot sandwiches (try the chicken one), Yummy home made cakes (carrot cake is the best) and of course.. the Kiwi shake makes Chai Nation a real go-to place for me amidst the constrant pressure at office. The pricing is quite reasonable and the staff very friendly and jovial. Do not be surprised if you make friends there. Chai Nation is the best stress buster in Infopark right now... go for it! To have all these in an IT park is a rarity. Its a pity they have not yet started branches outside infopark... should surely do it.

One of my frequent haunts when I was working in infopark . The lime tea , carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake are among the items that you must try . If you work in and around infopark don't pass up on this place .

Its definitely a dream location for a coffee shop and they have made good use of it too.. Even though its quite spacious, its jam packed and there's always a long waiting time - for no fault of theirs - blame the ever hungry IT crowd that reside in the adjoining buildings. The food was pretty decent - notably the ice tea and the chicken sandwich. You'll have to adjust ur tea break to some other time to eat from here though if u wanna beat the rush

Myself an IT professional working at Info Park.

It’s a modern branded Tea Cafe which serves different kinds of Teas, Iced Teas, Coolers, and Shakes along with Sandwiches, Noodles, and other variety Snacks. Situated inside Info Park, it is the most popular tea break joint among the corporate workers.

Food: Have tried the Regular, Masala and Mint Teas and have found them to be good. The Mayo Chicken sandwich and Carrot Cake is a must try.

Service: excellent, but most of the times it’s crowded. Very busy cafe so might need to wait during peak hours.

Ambiance: Air-conditioned cafe along with outside seating provided. Colorful theme.
