A must try food spot !! I love their food !! We started with mangolian chicken soup and hot and sour chicken soup where the consistency of the soup is so good and tasty. We also ordered their special which is drums of heaven chicken where you'll get 6 drum stick chicken pieces. For the main course we ordered spinach chicken, mixed fried rice and noodles and drunken spicy beef (semi gravy). Everything was good except the beef. I personally didn't like it because it tasted a bit salty. But the flavour was good.
Service provided by the staff was good. They help us to suggest the best if you are confused.

I really liked it. Jade soup with a taste of Spinach and mink wok special fried rice both were good. Dragon chicken was ok. The let down was sweet Corn soup. The soup was not thick more of watery.
The seating arrangement was good. When it comes to cost it was a medium range restaurant. 2 soups, a starter and a main dish cost 670.

The place is not that big, seating is minimum , but definitely the food makes up for it..i ordered the special ming wok noodles,egg fried rice , drums of heaven special , pad thai chicken , and one paneer curry(whose name i hv forgotten🫠)..they all tasted really delicious , and had good quantity too..drums of heaven n the noodles were my fav...the items were pretty much of chinese authenticity but had a slight dip of indian taste also.
The restroom is small , and doesnt hav a mirror..hopefully they will take that into consideration..also parking is limited.
Overall its a must try for chinese-indian food lovers..i loved it

Ming's wok is our favorite Chinese restaurant in panampilly Nagar. Their Drumps of Heaven is a must try and it is full of flavors. You will get schezwan sauce also along with the same. Momos are also too good. The only drawback is there is always construction going on infornt of the restaurant which is irritating. You won't be able to park proper. Service was very quick and the order reached within no time. Overall good experience

I was staying in Willingdon Island for a day and decided to try the food from this place for lunch. Ordered a Mixed Fried Rice, which came in a pretty large container and was pretty filling. The dish was bursting with egg, beef, chicken and shrimp and the taste was finger-licking good!

I've visited both their branches multiple times and my favourite by far is their panampilly nagar branch. I've ordered many of their items, but their Crackling spinach chicken, Drums of Heaven, Ming's wok special fried rice and Chinese chopsuey are my favourite dishes here which they seem to prepare very well consistently. Their Singapore noodles, butter garlic chicken are also worth a try.

A nice place. Good food, generous portions. Have been visiting here off and on over last many years. There have been a few occasions when the quality of the beef could have been better. But that’s easy to understand. Supply quality is often beyond the control of the buyer.

I ordered a chicken lollipop from ming's wok at panampilly nagar. It was super cool. I actually loved those chinese cuisines. The layering of lollipop was great and loved the taste. I think their recipes are something special compared to others. The ambience also feels so superb. The service was also great as they will make us very happy. Extremely happy with the food and service. It's one of the best Chinese food I have tasted in ernakulam. One of the best dishes that I had from Mings wok was the Chicken Manchow soup was really yummy with fried and crunchy noodles.. Drums of heaven special was delicious finger licking delicious which was juicy chicken lollipop and American chopsuey was also very tasty.I personally didn't prefer the the fried rice. But was over all very happy about the food and the over all service.

I visited there after viewing good reviews on zomato and other review platforms...It was a horrible experience. The area smells like a cold storage. The chicken drumsticks were cold. Got a fly from chicken fried rice. But the restaurant was still crowded. Seems like low pricing strategy droves people there... And reviews are based on online ordering platforms. Beware if you are planning to visit the restaurant.

This is a small place with respect to the seating but the intimacy can be overlooked by the good food! The Drums of Heaven which are 6 pieces of chicken drumsticks are sweet, spicy and presented very well so definitely try that for a starter! The mixed fried rice is my favourite though, with chicken, bits of prawns and vegetables making it really tasty!

I was a big fan of Ming wok until recently. But the quality of food is degrading day by day.<br/>The taste which we used to get before is no longer there(at least in vegetarian food)<br/>The chilly sauce they provide is completely watery And yuck<br/><br/>Won't recommend this place to anyone!

The place though has all ambience and the right name, but ain't that spacious hence can get crowded at prime hours, also their flavouring isn't that great or rather that of the actual Chinese cuisines, its more or less customised Indian kinda chinese food. Hence if you are here to explore and try Chinese authentic stuff, you will be disappointed. But if you are just a hungry and budget saver kinda person, this is lit.

The best thing I liked about this place was the huge portions, compared with the reasonable price. The food was good too. However, even as the name suggests that it may be authentic Chinese food, it's totally Indian Chinese. But, thats not an issue at all. The place is not too big, so can become full. Paneer could have killed someone, you just need to pick it up from the plate and throw it.<br/><br/>2. Paneer was curdled, sour taste to the core...old stock for sure...it was supposed to be Hunan flavour...but got to know today... Hunan is far east and we are down south.<br/><br/>3. Rice both Veg Schezwan and Veg Fried rice was Oily Moily...no taste...quality of rice substandard...felt real bad for the price paid.<br/><br/>4. This place is among my favourite places to eat out in kochi. Very reasonably priced and a small cosy feel makes it a place you would go again and again. This place holds a very special place in my heart as it used to be my favourite hangout place with my friends and my sister during my college days.Highly recommended. Since food delivery apps have become popular, it’s easier just to order in when we have a craving and no longer need to be bothered about the traffic on the way to places like Ming’s Wok in Panampilly Nagar. I’ve tried the Bangkok crispy beef, schezwan fried rice, chicken noodles and the chilly chicken and they are all good dishes without having that extra bit to knock a “Wow” out of you. Quantity is decent without overwhelming you.

Good restaurant with decent ambience. Tried Hunan Beef, Chicken in Oyster Sauce, Schezwan Chicken fried rice and Mixed fried rice. All of them were very good especially the beef! Was so delicious. It was a night of Chinese (indianised) craving which led me here and I can quite say I did like the food but nothing to go ga ga over..<br/><br/>Reaching the place is not a problem but if u have a sedan or anything bigger, be ready to take a few rounds before you find a parking spot. Best way is probably walk or maybe two wheelers if u do not want to waste time looking for parking nearby.<br/><br/>The restaurant per say is small and limited seating available. So on a busy day it might even lead to waiting if u r more than 4 ppl. The staff is well groomed and they are quite friendly. No qualms about their service and behaviour in any way. The restaurant is well and warmly lit and is quite clean per say. Cutlery and serving tools are so so. The seating towards the kitchen can get a little frustrating as the door opens and closes very frequently and there is a lot of kitchen noise you can hear. So if u r looking for a better time ears wise.. stay away from that area.<br/><br/>Coming to food.. indianised Chinese.. it's good.. and I will not be able to deny that fact . The dishes marked spicy are really spicy and they still have flavours bursting in the mouth. The meat is not too rubbery and is prepared well. I felt there was a bit too much of oil in the food but if u r not bothered about it.. it's ok.. few of the dishes I tried are photographed. I liked what I ate but if u ask me did i love it.. NO.. I did not as I have surely had better food in Kochi in the same genre of restaurants..<br/><br/>Price wise , very modestly priced and it was quite easy on the pocket.. so overall.. it is surely a restaurant to visit if u r a fan of Chinese.. but somehow the place does not call you over again if u know what I mean.. it leaves u in peace but not provide you the impetus and urge to go back there again..

Ordered pepper smoked chicken fried rice, via Uber Eats. It tasted nice . The flavors were mild, not too spicy (though I prefer extra spicy and ordered it thinking it to be extra spicy) . The quantity was satisfactory. No complaints.

Out of the sundry small eateries spread across Panampilly Nagar one is always critical of trying out new places. Ming's Wok is an Asian (chinese on the major part) restaurant tucked into a quiet bylane at the busy Panampilly Nagar.<br/><br/>A large no of delivery persons had queued up outside when we reached. Maybe as a result they ran out of dumplings or momos when we ordered. We tried their chicken soup, chicken sizzler in butter garlic sauce and dragon chicken (fried chiken portions made spicy). 'Garlic makes it good' their menu proclaims. I could understand why. All the dishes were carefully laced with this precious herb to give it a south asian flavour.<br/><br/>Overall, I'd give them a 4 for the prompt service and a tasteful asian cuisine.

The place is always crowded which would make you think the food is great. But its actually not. Tasty yes ! But not at all healthy ... dont know what taste maker or the amount of it they use it. Youll never have a good feeling after having stomach full of this tasty Chinese cuisine !<br/>Price is a little above than normal. Parking space is plenty as it is in panampilly nagar . Youll get the smell of food and heat from the opposite side service road of this restaurant !

I had food a couple of times from Ming's Work. The first time, I ordered Schezwan Fried Rice and Drums of Heaven. I loved the drums of heaven, the schezwan rice however was all color and no flavour at all. The second time, i ordered for dragon chicken. Avoid this at all costs. The third time, i ordered drums of heaven and fried rice. This time, i could taste only the batter. Very little mear wa available. I was deeply disappointed and felt like this was a big waste of money.

The staff member who attended us was very polite and informed us that food will take time as the kitchen was just getting things started. We didn’t mind the wait as we were aptly informed before ordering. Also, he took time and helped us by suggesting dishes. <br/><br/>Food <br/><br/>Every item we ordered exceeded my expectation. It was cooked perfect and tasted perfect. Well seasoned, well balanced all around <br/><br/>Drunken spicy beef was suggested by the gentleman working at the restaurant and my god, that was amazing. Chilly red pepper chicken and shredded chicken in hunan sauce were all just perfect. Egg fried rice and Veg Hakka noodles were exactly how you expect them to be at a Chinese restaurant <br/><br/>Final Thought <br/><br/>Food left us wanting more long after we finished eating. That’s the best compliment I can give and that’s the most important one too.

The ambience is not too good and all. but.. the drums of heaven speacial that we had from there is just too good. it has a very good blend of spices in it.spicy much.<br/>6 pieces of amazing sweet but spicy chicken.<br/><br/>

Great food....I'm not joking....one of the best chinese food restaurants you can find in kochi....but place is kind of small....9 tables for 4 persons each....hope they will upgrade to a bigger place

The best and delicious Chinese available at a reasonable price. Mings wok will fill your tummy as well as it is pocket friendly to go for a date or with your friends. A must visit food spot in panampilly nagar if you are a Chinese food lover.<br/>The highlight and the must try Dish at Mings Wok is the Drums of the heaven. These are basically chicken lollipops but the ones here are soo delicious and juicy that you can’t stop it at one plate. It is a must try whej you visit here.(₹150)<br/>The next dish which i would suggest are the fried rice, the rice are extremely soft and tasty and it has got a good quantity which would please your tummy. The service are really good and quick and keep checking on you to see if water is being served or food is being served properly.

Eventhough I had to wait for a few minutes, it was worth it. I had the pad thai noodles with some chilli chicken. It was really good. For a girl who always wanted to try out pad thai noodles whenever watching cooking channels, it didn't disappoint at all. The service they provided was really good. They were so polite and they even helped me in serving portions. How lovely! My next visit will be to have their most popular dish "Drums of heaven"

Our ultimate aim was to try the famous 'Drums in Heaven' and boy, it was heavenly! This juicy piece of chicken lolly dipped into this tangy tasty batter (might be) and fried to perfection I would say! Service was more on the creepier side if you ask me! The waiter managed to be at our table whenever our plates were about to go empty even when it was a rush hour. They never let us do the serving! Overall, definite thumbs up! Blesson

Terrible dining experience. To start off I was disappointed with the setting inside. It was hot and filled with smoke from the kitchen. Ordered the much sought after "Drums of heaven" and it was just okay. Ordered 4 dishes for main course of which 3 were recommended on the menu. The food was terrible with nothing but spice and no other flavour. It wasn't Chinese for sure and it wasn't any version of the Indianised Chinese food I grew up eating. Very disappointed in the quality of food. The staff tried their best to salvage the situation so kudos to the friendly staff. I'm sorry but this restaurant is a big NO for me. Hope it improves soon.

Tried this starter called 'Drums in Heaven' and I literally went to heaven! Such juicy pieces of chicken, it was delicious! It was something like a Chicken Lollipop but best. Had some hakka noodles too but it was just plain and bland! All said, definitely try Drums in Heaven if you are ever planning to go here! Tess George

Drums of heaven was definitely the highlight. Crunchy on the outside with a sweet and spicy sauce oozing and fried to perfection. The noodles however put me off. It was an over doze of chilli powder. It had a lot of meat but i couldnt get any flavour other than that of the excessive chilli powder. <br/>Passion fruit drink complemented well with the food. <br/>

I’ve been to Ming’s wok a couple of times and I’ve always come out a happy man. I love trying out their dishes and The wok is probably the only place I’d have the courage to try out something new. I absolutely love the double fried beef and Hunan chicken at Ming’s. I’d definitely love to be back for more. Love you Ming’s.

Very affordable and tasty Chinese served in a decent ambience. I have always found the place packed and have had to wait for a seat a couple of times. The special drums of heaven is a must have, it fares well in presentation and taste. Crackling spinach chicken is sweet and spicy batter fried chicken strips topped with crispy spinach and an overwhelming garlic flavour, I love the dish because of the combination of the tastes and also the garlic flavour. <br/>Tried the stir fried pepper mushroom dish and baby corn for starters and they weren’t the best dishes in their menu. <br/>The food and the service deserves a 4 rating while the ambience can be better.

My first choice for Chinese and Thai cuisines..in ernakulam...highlights are that, they do have a different menu card which offers you more than the usual Chinese menu..the taste is good,and the presentation also good and (p.S: they don't charge extra just because t S presented well) .The next highlight is the price...it is very reasonable.. And it won't cost you a fortune for having a full course dinner.<br/>The specialities I liked are butter garlic chicken for starters,Tom kha soup,Tom yum soup, Ming's special friderice, Thai red curry and green curry..

Was craving for some chinese so we landed at this place hoping to enjoy some decent chinese food. We had the crab soup to start with and from the first spoonful you can taste that the oil used is not fresh. It must have been the same oil used over and over which made the soup a little off putting. Apart from the oil, the soup had way too many chillies and the taste of the crab was lost. For mains we ordered the drums of heaven which were classic chicken lollipop and thai pot rice. Now, i have tasted alot of pot rice at alot of places, this one wasnt it. It was basically egg fried rice that was topped with thai chicken red curry. It was a very disappointing experience. The only redeeming point is that the service is prompt. Definitely not returning to place.

Ming's wok has a small space with decent seating. The food is delicious and served hot! There's just enough quantity for two people for a portion of their noodles/fried rice. The Crackling Spinach Chicken is a must try starter. Their service is outstanding and surprisingly really quick as well. Probably the only thing this place needs is a dessert menu.

Chilly red pepper paneer came in a fancy cookie jar and was the pick of the dish. Manchurian cauliflower was bit lower on spiciness. Veg and scheswan fried rice as usual we're good. Shredded chicken in Hunan sauce was spicy and had good quantity of chicken pieces. Went all the way to Panampalli Nagar after seeing the photos of Drums of Heaven posted by friends. This place didn't fail to impress. Drums of Heaven is indeed a piece of Heaven on earth. It had the right flavours, crunchiness and presentation. We also ordered Pan Thai Chicken Noodles that came wrapped in an omelette which is also visually appealing. Enquire about drinks as it is not mentioned in the menu. We opted for orange-carrot juice but were billed on passion fruit juice.<br/><br/>Staff is extremely friendly and go out of the way to serve us. The place is a bit crammed. However the price makes up for it. The taste still lingers in my mouth and I am definitely going back. Also Panampalli is an amazing place for exploring. ✌

My favourite Chinese food joint in Cochin no doubt about that. The soups are lovely. Overall the quantity is great for the price. And very minimal use of that dreadful food coloring used in some other famous Chinese restaurants *cough cough*. The staff is courteous. There are some daily combos available but if you want to savour the good flavours and not just fill your tummy, i suggest you try other items.

Great service, good food and pleasant setting. The food is served in ample quantity and the staff is really helpful. We tried the American chopsuey and chowmein which were really good. Wanna go back again to try out other items on the menu.
