It is one of the very good Chinese foods at Ernakulam. They have a good ambiance and well-mannered service staff. Parking was a bit difficult as it is located right beside the highway. Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice was too good to try. Quantity is also a lot to have for 2 normal guys.. loved the food and ambiance.

Had a nice lunch time there. Ordered their chiyang special mixed noodles (pork & chicken) with Dragon Beef. One full noodle had enough portions for 2 persons and 1 half dragon beef is more than enough for 2 and is a little bit spicy but I really liked the taste. The staff is very helpful while explaining the portion size.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Kochi. I went to their Kacheripady branch. The exterior is just like a typical Chinese building and the interior is pretty much spaced. But it is usually packed. We waited for quite some time to dine in. The atmosphere was too busy and filled with people rushing here and there. But all those got compensated with their food. We ordered a pork and prawns noodles and chicken & pork noodles. Both were simply awesome and the best ever noodles I've ever tried out since they kept that authentic touch as well as the quality of the ingredients used was also the best. Pork & prawns was my personal favorite. The portion size of one noodles was also sufficient for two average people. So if you wanna have some real Chinese dishes, Chiyang is one of the best options out there.

One of the oldest and authentic desi Chinese serving restaurant, located near MG Road. The ambience and aesthetics here are really amazing and cool and give a good vibe. You can visit here with family or friends. The food is good and served piping hot, the service is a bit slow, but the staff are helpful and friendly. Their chicken lollipop is a must try dish here. They have a vast variety of seafood, chicken, beef and pork dishes and also have a good variety in vegetarian option too.

Mixed Experience at Chiyang I recently dined at Chiyang restaurant and had a mixed experience. The Chicken Fried Rice left much to be desired as its flavor fell short of expectations. However, the Pork Fry was a redeeming factor – not only did it boast ample quantity, but the crispy texture and delightful flavor made it a standout dish. Good packaging and service. While there are other Chinese cuisines in Kochi, Chiang was one of the first and a definite must try

Ordered fried rice from here paying 190 for a half. It was the worst friend rice i have ever had. Found hair in it and chunks of egg. Not enough quantity and used cheap rice.

Every item was very dry

This is the second time we ordered from chiyang restaurant. Been hearing very bad news reviews and other bad experiences from customers through social media. Pls do not order from this restaurant if you are looking for good chineese dishes. They have lost their quality in preparing and also in dealing with customers. Zomato should never encourage such restaurants like this. Never ordering from here anymore. Big thumbs down 👎👎👎👎

chilly pork was half cooked only so it difficult to eat as very rough and tough. ,Pls note, half cooked pork meat is affected human health(chances to get viras /bacteria infection). so i adviced atleast meat items should cooked well.

The restaurant was quite crowded as it was a Saturday, however from old times, the quality has deteriorated considerably. The dragon chicken we ordered as starters had a raw chilly taste. ( Am no Chinese food expert but I've tasted better dragon chicken from even smaller restaurants.) The presentation wasnt impressive either. Coming to main course, we ordered manchurian fried rice, schezwan noodles and sweet and sour chicken. The rice tasted good, it was non sticky and flavourful however the noodles tasted too bland and lacked any flavour. The worst would be the sweet and sour chicken, too much of honey and vinegar here there to add sourness However the end result was not good. All said and done, the overall experience wasn't great.

One of oldest restaurant in KOCHI near to St ALBERTs college by Pharmacy Junction Banerjee Road Ekm..... (MG Road....nearest metro station).....I have been to several Chinese restaurant in this town....but Chiyang is different....loves it's ambiance taste and quality. All at affordable rates. If you go by weekend evenings...see the crowd from age 5 to 55....all enjoying with lovely food served. Don't confuse what to order....they helps to make order.... especially for a first time visitor. Nice restaurant at affordable cost. (Hope they will open a branch at Vytilla or Thykoodam METRO station)..... simply I love their service.

It is with a heavy heart that i write this review! There was a time when this restaurant made me droool just by thinking of the chilly chicken .. unfortunately those days have long gone. This place holds a lot of nostalgia for me .. but the food quality of their dishes have come down drastically. Their chilli chicken seems to be any other fried chicken drenched in oil these days :( . The service is still awesome! But when it comes to the taste of food.. this place needs to do some serious thinking.

Had a very bad experience at Chiyang. We ordered an American chopsuey and Chinese chopsuey and both had the same taste except for the color. Also the taste was Soo baad. The Manchurian fried rice was dry and blant. The dragon chicken (which I have had it from here earlier-2 years back-and it was good) turned out to be very oily without much taste or spiciness. We felt like we ate a lot of garbage for lunch.

This place never has Parking and every time they tell the same reason that it's not there parking area and misguide every single time telling there is parking when it's not there often

Chiang is an average restaurant not too good not too bad it is simply okay. The fried rice and noodles are average and the chilli chicken that we ordered had too much salt and tasted of sauce. We couldn't taste any other flavour<br/>Another time the fried rice that we ordered tasted like smoke.. That flavor was too strong<br/>So they definitely need to hire better chefs I guess...

Name a few good chinese restaurants in Kochi? Yeah! Chiyang will be in the list for sure. Had Mixed Fried Rice with chicken, pork and schezwan chicken. The chicken and pork in the fried rice is in good proportions; not one part dominating, which is pretty good! Schezwan Chicken was spicy and tastes really well! The other plus point is the quantity! A full portion of fried rice, noodles or side dishes is completely filling for two people. Good service and neat ambience.

You can get Asian food at plenty of places in town. But this place has the most generous portions and the best servings of pork. I've tried all the pork dishes and the must haves in my opinion are the Special Chilly pork, the Honey and Pepper pork and the Garlic pork. Bring a friend because none of the dishes are meant for one person.

It's unhealthy, flavourless, not so fresh Chinese food.<br/>Never feels good on your tummy. People who like the food are one off customers, probably once a year.<br/>Simplify the dishes and create a more fresher ambience. If u want to purchase food online to ur office or to anywhere u should bring a plate with you from ur home. This Chiyang hotel will not give u food in plates.. They will deliver u in aluminium foil cover to save their money. If u want plate u should ask for it while u order food. I think May be they will charge 4 that plate. I feel pitty about the service of chiyang. When i call them the hotel assistant told me that they r serving like this to everyone...
