Review Marina Sea Face Restaurant - Kochi (Cochin)

Great Experience. Went for birthday celebration of my wife. Reception staff Mr Sudi is extremely nice and helpful person. He made arrangement for cake despite the booking just two hours before. Their Ocean bucket is must try for seafood lovers though not much options for Vegetarians. Nice and peaceful atmosphere by the sea side.

The restaurant is located above the Fort Kochi tourist boat jetty. They have street view & sea view seating available. We chose the sea view dining, we ordered a bunch of dishes from nadan veg meals to Kerala porotta to their specialities tava grilled fish (we chose chemballi), pal konju & seafood combo which features rice, papadam along with a variety of accompaniments such as fish curry, fish fry, prawn roast, kozhuva fry, squid fry, sambar, curd, 3 veg curries, pickle, kondattom & a dessert. We savoured our food overlooking the sea, enjoying the cool breeze & the beautiful view; watching the waves hitting the shore & sailing boats. Great ambience with good service & tasty food.

Enjoyed the Paal konch, Kalangi fish tawa was not bad, sea fish combo could have been better. Staffs are courteous. The view is amazing! The place is crowded on sunday afternoons, expect a waiting time of one hour.

Delicious sea food with varieties, located very next to fort kochi jangar jetty. The place is overlooking to sea with a beautiful view. The staffs are very professional, good service. The signature king prawns is the must try dish. If someone looking for very authentic kerala sea food, this will be the must try place.

We had the sea food combo which was absolutely stunning. There was a short wait for a table (always a good sign) and the service before and during our meal was excellent. Plentiful water and fresh orange and watermelon juices to accompany the food and soften the spice kick. Great views over the water as an added bonus. Meal for two at just about 900 rupees. Bargain.

Located near to Fort Kochi jetty, it is Aa good sea food restaurant with great sea view. Comparing with other sea food restaurants, it is a budget friendly one. And we can get a veriety of options in season. The quantity is good and taste is okay. There won't be much parking space available, and may have to park in roadside. Must try: Paal konju( their signature dish)

This is one of the BUSY, famous and tasty restaurant at Fort Kochi. I visited this restaurant attracted by the sea view tables shown in youtube videos and then I got to know this is one of the busiest restaurant at a busy junction of Fort Kochi, seems to be a happening place on New year. Taste of food is really good, worth to try here and cost also is reasonable for what we get. The sea view tables are really good to see the ships and ferries roaming around us. Kerala special food items and other items also tasted good here. Every item in menu tempts me to try it once.

Good food and decent service. Place looks slightly shady from outside, specially in night, but it's in a very old building shared with govt offices. Food was fresh and delicious. View from the balcony overlooking the sea and the port was awesome! 🐟🦐

Good food can definety a destination for pocket friendly seafood. Just fish curry meals will do good for the most but can get variety of other fish items freshly made Limited seating capacity is the main problem i seen. But the dining area facing the backwaters is great. Smoke from boats reaching for diesel pump is a disturbance but still the place is great

Very nice hotel loactaed near to fort Port kochi front of sea . You can enjoy nice view with foods. Food quality is also good there so many options available for nonveg meal . And test is also good with affordable rates price. If you visit Fort Port kochi you much visit this hotel service is also very quick

Best place to get all sea food at an affordable price. Really enjoyed lunch with family tasting almost every sea food in a plate. We tried seafood combo platter and 'Pal Konju' sizzlers which is must try. Very good ambience. You can have meal enjoying the beauty and breeze of Arabian Sea. You can park in the common area for free but at your own risk and nearby a paid parking facility is available.

Just a fantastic atmosphere they have..!! Having the lunch in the cold see breeze and seeing the ships and boats through the waters... It was amazing. Had their seafood combo and it was delicious and a jumbo of quantity. Crab roast and prawns roast was our personal favourite of the combo. Overall, Loved it..!!😍

The view over the bay and the simple set up make it all very pleasant. You can watch thé Chinese fishing nets at work while you eat. This is not a fancy restaurant but we had a very nice fresh fish and if you don’t like chilly just tell them. They also have fish tali which looked yummy and prawn on a hot plate with coconut milk. Will try next time !

Excellent view, pretty good fish thali at excellent prices. The sea-front dining area is constantly busy but there are always spots open as soon as you need it. Great place for lunch break from Biennale.

There is a variety of food available here. The seafood here is best in town. Although the price is little bit higher than normal restaurants. The view and the place is quite good.

Such a place in Fort Kochi to have local or continental seafood delicacies with a view of port and vessels... lovely place indeed.

Such a waste restaurant i ever visited, its a waste of money

Highly avoidable. Literally zero service. They don't even clean the place so it's infested with crows causing havoc as you attempt to have a meal. When you ask for more of anything they just disappear. If a horrific dining experience is not what you're after, this is not the place for you.

Had really tasty Kerala food (from a place outside home) after a long time...<br/>Taste: 5*... I know nothing should be rated as perfect... But I really liked the taste of everything served to me. Hence 5. The fish curry was spicy, tangy n delicious at the same time. Similarly the fried fish, Sambhar, Kozhuva fry etc all were spicy n delicious <br/><br/>Ambience: 4* for sea facing side<br/>2* for the other side<br/><br/>Cleanliness: Not very clean at the wash basin area. 1*<br/><br/>Service: Good. 4*

Not recommend at all ,not clean ,High priced foods. are not keeping any quality..wash basin and all very dirty, corporation should close this kind of restaurants in the prime tourist Area

it's basically one menu ,two places to sit and two rates for them,one is indoors and the other is on a balcony overlooking the sea port and the water,they charge you about 30% more for the view.went around noon ,had appam ,parotta and beef roast, quite a decent fare,beef quality was good ,taste was also decent.

Try the lunch combos here. The fish thali is amazing and the quality of food is decent. The folks around here are friendly and service is good. It is an economical place and is a good hub if you are looking for good food in a reasonable rate.

Fort kochi is truly a superb place to visit .. After a fine visit there. . I headed to this restaurant .. had a pretty good time there. . This restaurant situated next to the seashore has a fine ambience .. which has some paintings depicting fort kochi. . I had fish fry ( njatholi).. It sounds fantastic .. and also I had kerala porotta with chicken gravy which too tasted cool..overall, this place is filled with awesomeness where a traveller would enjoy the most.. my rating is 3.5/5

Good sea face restaurant with an awesome staff and wide variety of dishes in the menu,if you are exhausted walking in an hot afternoon this place is perfect for chill out.
