ambience was fine and the hotel is located in a calm area towards south of Panampilly Nagar. Seafood platter as a starter was a new experience as suggested by the hotel which was a treat for tongue. Taste wise we wanted less spicy food and they delivered what we expected. Overall impressive and Good..

Excellent concept !!! An actual Villa, where each room is a dining room with 4-5 tables. Great ambience, excellent food and service with a smile !!! The owner, Mr. Harikrishnan, is a warm genial person who adds a personal touch to the hospitality.

Quiet, elegant and private dining experience for small or big parties! Food is prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully plated. Wide array of appetizers and main courses. Chicken and fish were prepared perfectly. Chicken pollichathu and neymeen fish masala are both delicious! Potato honey nut appetizer has become my new favorite snack! Attentive and courteous staff and service! A wonderful option for a great time eating out!

Away from the crowded part of Panampilly Nagar, it has a very nice and quiet ambience. Spend a looong time with friends chatting over their delicious food. Lots of choices and good service. They have multiple cusines and don't any away from customisation. Very good place.

Cool place. Watched worldcup football over a delicious bowl of pumpkin cream soup. Delicious food - tried noodles and beef with veggies! Have to try more in their menu soon. Part II-this time my pictures can do the talking. My new favourite honey nut potatoes. A must taste starter! Green salad and the ice cream looked just right for photos.

Spice Villa is a thoroughly enjoyable dining in experience as the ambience is truly a travel through conventional Kerala setting and antiques with the food to relish. I visited with my family and it is surely a good place to relax.

Was with a friend’ s family in Panampilly Nagar when got to know about this place courtesy Zomato gold, to hunt down the place was not a challenge with the help of google map. Parking available for three to four cars more than that can be a challenge. This is like a house with aquariums and traditional set up . There are a lot of room kinda of dining area and have ample sitting . The owner said that they also have roof top dining which can be used for group parties . Thr menu had everything from traditional kerala food to Chinese and North Indian. Ordered chicken tikka masala with South Indian spices , chicken fried rice , honey grilled prawns ,mutter paneer , mutton rogan josh . Ordered appam & Lacha Partha to go with these as breads . Chicken tikka And prawns was amazing with very less oil and light on stomach . The spices would definitely tingle your senses and was great . Appam and paratha was also great to have with it and can’t complain about the chicken fried rice as well . The only deal breakers were mutter paneer and Roghan josh. Mutter paneer was full of cream and Rogan josh was in kinda of In butter chicken gravy which was not good and also the rogan josh was priced at 450 INR which was also not worth it . Over all around 1800 Bucks with two Zomato gold unlocks and overall a nice experience, so with small tweaks a nice place to go with your family for authentic kerala food .

Spice villa is a tad difficult to get to. But once you get there expect to be pleasantly surprised. It is a refurbished house with 4 rooms that seat 16 pax each room. Service is excellent. Food is enjoyable and lavish. We really liked the ambience of the “house” and thr decor. It complemented the food neatly. Great family/ group place.

Was a little sceptical about this place at first, but it turned out to be a great experience! Their honey potato nut was really yummy. The chicken parmigiana was amazing. They even gave us a welcome drink and salad sticks! :)
Its a house converted as restaurant. They serve different cuisines and offer a wide variety of dishes which we could choose at leisure over their delicious welcome drink. Potato honey nut was a smashing starter. Chicken tikka pollichathu sounded a daring dish to order but turned out a hit with us. Very delicious food and good ambience with privacy (so didn't have to worry about our noise disturbing other diners). Very pleased with their service and they even served a dish off their menu according to our suggestion! We walked out with their menu as they have home delivery. Tried beef with vegetables, seafood platter etc so far. I'll definitely add it as a place to be frequented.

I had lunch with a small group of my friends and college mates at Spice Villa last week. Spice Villa looks and feels like a house, which is always a good thing. The entrance is welcoming and the interiors bright, clean, and elegant with a palette that highlights the dark wood tables, the white china tableware and steel silverware. I found the hand drawn or stenciled butterflies and paisley motifs on the wall attractive. As in a house, the restaurant has "rooms"; rooms that can seat 5 diners or 10 diners or up to 20-30 diners for a bigger party. The rooms come with washrooms and doors; both big and small parties of customers dining as a group are able to have a quiet, private dining experience.

We ordered several dishes that we could share. I could tell that the food would be tasty just by drinking the first glass of lemon juice; it was just perfect with a delicate balance of lemon and salt and sugar. I ordered another glass right away. We ordered "potato honey nut" as an appetizer; small thin slices of potato fried in a delicious batter and smothered with a special sauce and generously sprinkled with peanuts and garnished with scallions; it was delicious! Try it!

For our main course, we ordered chicken pollichathu, neymeen fish masala, green pepper fried rice, and egg noodles. We were in a frisky mood! The chicken pollichathu was cooked in a plantain leaf with succulent pieces of chicken in a delicious tandoori style sauce; the chicken meat was cooked perfectly. Likewise, the neymeen fish masala was made with fresh fish; we could taste the moist succulent flavor of the neymeen. It was a new combination, but both of these dishes worked well with the green pepper fried rice and the noodles! We asked that our dishes be spicy, and they were.

We ordered ice cream and gulab jamun for dessert. The ice cream was good, my friends said, and my gulab jamun was delicious; the jamuns were soft and totally soaked in rose water and sugar syrup.

Spice Villa offers fine dining, so the price for most items start at around 150-200 rupees. This makes sense as the restaurant uses fresh ingredients and the dishes are made with evident expertise. The young man who served us was solicitous and attentive without hovering; we tipped him nicely!

If you want to treat yourself, your family, friends, or colleagues from work to a private, quiet, dining experience, bring them to Spice Villa. The food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere clean, quiet and classic. You will remember the place and time fondly for years to come!

A place tucked away from the typical busy streets of Panampilly Nagar. Calm and quiet where just eating and leaving isn’t the priority but it is where we can take time to enjoy the ambience of the place while having pleasant conversations. The food is also exceptional, with a lot of variety and twists to classic dishes.

Great place to hagout with friends and family. The chef's special dishes are ethnic foods in different parts of kerala like prawns kizhi and green crab. The pork ribs and chilly pork is amazing. There are different varieties of fried rice and noodles to choose from. Anyways i will be visiting again soon !!!
Great work spice villa.
