As the name suggests, it's popular for biriyani, especially chicken biriyani. Like any restaurant, this place offers a long menu, but there isn't any other item they could boast about. The price is justifiable. Not crowded. Good for groups. Parking is scarce.

Supern biriyani. I suggest Biriyani Hut over other hotels. A special taste, neat amount of quantity to get over your hunger. There were little combo offers sometimes. The food is anyways little special. There's is no proper parking if you are driving through.

Had biriyani combo from here! It tasted good. The lime provided was also nice. Overall a budget friendly place. Doubt whether they have a card swiping machine. When I asked for swiping card, they said no so I paid cash.

Tried the Chicken Biriyani Combo from here. The combo includes Biriyani, Fried chicken, fresh lime and touch ups for Rs.160. Found as a budget friendly. In the case of Biriyani The taste was average 2.5/5. Quantity is good presentation and ambience is good. The fried chicken was quite spicy but over cooked/fried. Lime was quite good. Can recommended only for the budget lovers. Major disadvantage is that they didn't accept digital wallets or cards🙄 .

I used to visit Biriyani Hut frequently during my working days in Kochi. They serve good biriyanis and the combo pack they offer is super affordable. The chicken fry and mint cooler they serve along with the biriyani are nice as well. No idea why they have poor reviews/ratings.

Good biriyani. Chicken fry is too good. Combo is recommendable. No much parking facility and they only accept cash is a sad part. Service needs to be improved. Food is above average in quality. Quantity if food is less.

Good place to get biriyani. I liked the biriyani very much. Service was average. However they served everything fast. They have interesting lunch combos too. Pricing is reasonable. Still not understanding why many bad reviews are there. Only negative to this place is that it has no parking at all. Other than that its a good place for lunch. 👍

Visited the place one day on the hunt for a beef biriyani, but sadly the beef biriyani got over by the time we reached. Since I am not a big fan of chicken I had a mutton biriyani. Nothing special in the biriyani and I would say it was bit over priced. They place have few other combos which are fairly priced, but not sure on the taste end. Quite disappointing.

The place that calls itself the Biryani Hut serves a really underwhelming and disappointing Biryani. I even tried their Chicken 65. It was just excessively oily and lacked any sort of flavor other than what it picked up from deep frying. Definitely avoid a second visit.

This is right on the main road connecting Palarivattom and kakkanad. The place is quite big and provides ample car parking. The biriyani doesn't taste as they used to before. It's more like any other biriyani you get in town. Their dates pickle is one of the best. Service is good.

When you hear the name biriyani hut, you expect that you will get one of the best biriyani. But the truth is, I have had better ones from so many places. They delivers an OK type of biriyani, nothing so special. I had a chicken biriyani and its ok, but i had far better ones from other places.

I am one of their loyal customers. Since its on the way to my workplace, I often go there to have lunch. I love their biriyani combo. The restaurant is clean enough but the serving time is pathetic. We have to wait roughly 20-30 minutes to get the food in our table. Even with all such short comings I still go there since the biriyani tastes good and their mint cooler is one of the best.

I dont know why people gave an underrating, but this is one place to enjoy Biriyani. The combo packs are cool and tricky, What you get is a biriyani with a single piece and a fried chicken with lime, If you are hungry go for it, because the quantity of rice will fill you up.

This is the place where I started becoming a big fan of Biriyani. Sometimes when I am starving to death I feel I can have 2 of them. The best part are those Biriyani combos which comes with A class fried chicken(the masala is super sexy) and mint lime juice. What else would an ordinary man want. I prefer this place just for there awesome Biriyani service other than that there is nothing great about it.

Being a Briryani fan, I usually try all sorts of Biriyanies.... The rice here is soft but the chiken inside the biriyani is not as good. You should definitely try their combo where they give you an extra spicy chick piece which is just magic. Try it and you will enjoy..

The biriyani i would say is avearge and so was the ambience of the place.Even if the biriyani doesn't stun you,it definitely wont disappoint you.The biriyani with fried chicken combo is a good value for money.Have also tried the pepper chicken once and it was OK.

We went to this place in search of a good biriyani, which we haven't found at kochi yet. And we are still searching to our disapointment. As expected we ordered biriyani. But what we got was more like a Chicken Polao. See never the less it tasted nice but it was not biriyani. We also ordered Kadai Chicken it didnt taste good at all. It had too much jeera powder. That one is a total no no. Food: 3/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 3/5

Always loved Biriyanis and a biriyani place in kochi would be in my list. This place was nothing out of the ordinary worth recommending to friends and I do not understand how zomato puts up the 'trending' chart in the app. The biriyani I would say is average and so was the ambience of the place.

One of the fine non veg lunch offered in Kochi. Biriyani Hut has more than three branches (also one cafe named Dubai Cafe provides the same) The biriyani is rich, flavoured and good in quality. My pick would be the Mutton Biriyani. The combo biryani pack that contains one-piece biriyani along with one dry fry, chilly flake coated chicken fry and lime juice is awesome in taste, satisfying and good for the price.

Even if the biryani doesn't stun you into silence, it definitely wont disappoint you. No comparison to the king of biryanis at Paragon - calicut, but definitely one of the better biryanis in Kochi. The biryani with fried chicken combo is a good value for money offering. Have also tried the pepper chicken once and it was alright - if not great. The place is quite underrated as not many people visit it - preferring to go to the Malabar plaza nearby. But the biryani here is better any day!

The hotel which i have visited the most in kochi mainly due to proximity to my place of residence. The malabar biriyani they serve is really good most of the times, but dont have consistency in quality. sometimes i find it overcooked. Pricing is reasonable. And dont fall for their combo biriyani where they offer an extra chicken fry piece and juice for an extra amount . They have reduced the number of chicken pieces in the biriyani to one for adding that chicken fry. Verdict: Place to have quality biriyani at a reasonable price.
