The Best destination for Jam Rolls in the city !!".
As the name says Kunjus Jam rolls are well known for their toothsome pineapple and strawberry jam rolls. This place is located on Seaport-Airport road but it is not easily traceable as it is not located on the main road. It is located on one of the service roads situated at the top and it gives you a calm and quiet ambiance for dine-in with friends and loved ones. The legacy of Kunjus jam rolls dates back to 1931 and has got more than 85 years of fruitful experience in the bakery field. The main baking unit is headquartered at Kanjirapally and it handles the production section whereas the one at Kakkanad caters to the needs of the city's requirements
The place looks clean and well maintained and the walls are of the brick tile set up and look like an old house converted to a bakery unit with seating arrangements placed in front of the entrance where you can relax and have your desserts peacefully. While stepping inside you can see a caricature of their founder pasted on one side of their walls.
In addition to jam rolls, the bakery also houses cakes, snacks, biscuits, chips, and pastries. Service was good. Staff was very courteous and attentive.
We came here for the first time despite staying in Kochi for around 5 years I was completely unaware of this place and couldn't make use of it fruitfully during those times. We opted for Pineapple Jam rolls, Strawberry jam rolls, Vanilla paste cake and 3 pieces of Dates flavored pastry. All were scrumptious and we liked the pineapple jam roll much more. I would personally recommend everyone to try their pineapple jam roll as it was very luscious. Altogether the total bill came around Rs 265. It is certainly a good spot in Kakkanad area to take your friends for a quick bite. Recommended Place !!..

This is a small outlet which is situated on the road which is parallel to the sea port airport road (opp. to the petrol pump, Mosque would be a landmark for you). This outlet has a number of items on the display and you can also give an order. The pricing is a little on the expensive side, but I personally believe that it's worth the money that you pay. The staff are very courteous and would explain everything to you when you ask them.
I had heard from one of my friends that this place serves the best pineapple jam rolls in the and hence I thought about giving it a try. We tasted the pineapple jam roll first, and we loved it. A piece of advice, don't use a spoon to eat you jam roll, use your hands. So, we took a box of pineapple jam roll which was for about ₹280/- and we got this idea of having it with vanilla ice cream - Best combo ever!
I had a lovely experience here and would love to come back to this place again to try out the other items in the menu. I would like to give the-

That’s Bolo De Coco we have ordered.. decent cake but I find it on a higher sweet end. The packing was ok though.

I have tried their strawberry and pineapple jamolls. Both were very well made, tasted great, and are high quality products. I have recommended it to all my friends, and I would definitely buy more in the future!
Was craving for jam roll, a not so familiar item in Dubai where I stay. So my husband took a lot of trouble and brought me a box of strawberry jam roll from Kunju’s while he was on a visit to Kerala. This time when I went down, I sought out this place and am pretty glad that I tried their pineapple jam roll too. There are different varieties of cookies. Though I couldn’t try all, am definitely going to come back for more on my next visit to god’s own country. Only the downside I felt the prices were a bit steeped. But will buy again nonetheless
it is situvated in middle of kakknad i mean in mavelipuram , they hav nly takeaway...dont expect much....even though they hav nly takeaway..but the shop is very carm and homely , if i say abt there jamroll i need to say.. it taste average,,,,feel like natural jamroll made out of pineapple. they hav nly one flavour available wit them that is pineapple, i feel there shop as too clean and homely, but the jam roll taste jus average .😊 can giv a one tym try ..folks.

I recently had the opportunity to try out "Kunju's Jam Rolls" in Thrikakkara, and it turned out to be a mixed experience for me. Let me break it down for you.
When I arrived at the bakery, the first thing that caught my attention was the name itself, "Jam Rolls." Naturally, I was eager to taste their signature offering, the jam roll. The friendly staff offered me some jam samples to try before I made my decision. However, I must admit that the jam roll didn't quite meet my expectations. It was not to my liking as the sweetness of the jam overpowered the taste of the bread, and I prefer a more balanced flavor profile in my pastries.
However, the disappointment with the jam roll was quickly forgotten when I decided to explore their other offerings. I decided to give their "Bolo de Coco" and "Lemon paste Cakes" a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The "Bolo de Coco," a coconut cake, had a delightful texture and was bursting with coconut flavor and cream. Even though I'm not a fan of coconut, I found myself enjoying every bite of this cake. It was moist, not overly sweet, and had just the right amount of coconut essence to make it appealing even to someone who doesn't usually like coconut.
Similarly, the "Lemon Cake" was a refreshing treat.
One thing that stood out during my visit was the bakery's warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was courteous and accommodating, providing excellent customer service.
Jam rolls are awsome.. Strawberry and Pineapple flavors available... They also have good plum cakes..

Which is made infamous by late Kunju Aashan from Kanjirapalli, who the current owner father Mr Jayan. So this is a family owned business. What makes this place unique from rest of the Cakery they are so proud to give you samples of the cake.

Coming to the this place is just more than a cake. The house which is behind and the shop are part of a historic building made by the famous English architect called “MrBaker “ Who uses predominantly red bricks for construction and blends the home or the building along with the surrounding nature.
It's a good shop which has more varieties of jam rolls and other cake items at reasonable prices. Compared to their main shop which started early on and have only one kind of jam rolls, since this shop is in the city more variants of products are available. Customer satisfaction is their main thing. They see to make us understand what all are the varieties and are free to provide us with samples too. Good customer service. The products are of good quality and taste. It's customizable according to our needs for some products. It's a small shop but the quality is not compromised. It's near the Mavelipuram signal. Parking space is available. Good shop in total.

Love their Pineapple Jam Rolls and Lemon pastry. It's a small shop with great ambience and space is utilized wisely. They are providing samples. Friendly and good behavior from the staff.Free street parking is available.
I went there with much expectations as I have been hearing abt the rolls...but I found it overly sweet for my palate...the texture of the cake and the jam was spot on ..but I felt ..if it were less sweet it would be awesome ....
