We had only dahi Vada and the taste was awesome. This is one of the fewest options available in the mall

Tasty dosas and they provide it faster than others in the food court.

I went and ordered snacks, the chatni was frozen(in the morning itself) and the lady in the counter seems having to no interest for speaking to the clients. Not even 1 star. The lady’s attitude is too cold towards guests. Ps : Chatni is not replaced

Been Here.. Tried veg for a change in the mall.. Should say ppl who like meals and specially kerala meals.. This is the best place... Food was really great, sambar was amazing.. Papad was just made right... And rest all was nice... Will recommend this place for meals here.
ANAND INDUCHOODAN 😀
Tried the rava masala dosa and veg cutlet . The food not up to the mark and cost wise extremely pricey. The spice level of the cutlet was way above my head and it did disturb my appetite for the day

worst food experience I have ever had. Don't go there. They don't have the value for the money of the customers. nothing tastes good. coffee contains water more than milk.
Vishnu N K
Nice but rate for menu items are too high. Quality of food is also nice. Easily spotable in the Foodcourt and delivery doesn't take much time.

Review No 412:

Continuing our food sojourn in the Lulu Mall had drop by BTH - Dosa Xpress. BTH being a relatively old player in the hospitality business.

We settled for the warm Idli’s coupled with Coffee and decided to pair all of this with Veg Cutlet.

How did it taste? Idli’s were fresh to say the least. The accompanied chutneys were equally tasty...must mention. Coffee was surely not the best that money can buy but it passed the muster. Veg Cutlet was decent too...above average to be honest. More dishes to be tried from here the next time around.

Price: For the mall setup that it’s housed in, the prices were pretty fair.

Service: Prompt but a smile could have helped.

Ratings on basis the experience at the outlet recently:

Food: 3.5/5
Price: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5 (Though it’s a food court setup, I'm still going to rate this as 4.5 for the mall management).
*****************
Overall: 3.5/5

A good place if you want hot dosa and filter coffee while at lulu mall food court. Food is tasty. Service takes time but you cannot blame them as there is good rush at any point of time.
Veg thali on leaf at noon is also good.

After browsing through all the options, me and my partner, settle for the Dosas. South Indian food has always been one of my favorites and so if you are in South India, it just makes more sense to have that.
So after checking the other Dosa places, we settled for BTH Dosa Express. The boy behind the counter had a warm smile and we placed the order for Masala Dosa, Idli and of course Filter Coffee. The order took longer than the specified 10 minutes but that was fine as we were not starving and did not mind waiting in the food court which unlike the ones in Delhi was relatively peaceful :)
The idlis did not look fresh but they did not taste bad or stale. The dosa was decent with average coconut chutney (sauce) and sambhar was not what one would expect in the South. I’ve had better Sambhar in Delhi. The filter coffee was BAD and even after having mentioned that we wanted it strong it was very light and just milk with a hint of coffee. Thankfully we had ordered just one. We spent about Rs.350/- and so felt bad about the whole deal.
As much as I liked the Lulu Mall, next time I shall step out of the mall and eat at a local place.

Crunchy, yet the Softest bhatoora I've had in a while. Definitely recommend this place for economical value of the meals and for their tasty yet simple dishes.
CHOMPING CHAMPION
I wanted to try vegetable cutlets (of the BTH fame) and few other snacks. By the time I go there, all the snacks were over. I only got to drink couple of tumblers of decent filter coffee. Worth every penny.

Easily the worst outlet at the mall. The food is cold, some of the chutneys have gone bad. And to top it off, the staff are rude. Avoid at all costs, much better places to get dosas in Kochi.

•194

Food: Tried a Masala Dosa from here. It was a very normal one, nothing different from any other dosa joints. Masala dosa was served with coconut chutney, tomato & onion chutney and a small cup of sambar. Both the chutenys and sambar tasted average.

Service: They served the order in 10 mins. The presentation was good, serving the dosa on a piece of banana leaf.

Overall: Not sure about the other dosa varities. Not that happy about the ordered one.

Good place for Dosa and south Indian cuisine lovers. I find the chutnies provided by them is simply delicious and on sambar needs more improvement. Overall it was delicious.

Just an average dosa place .. Also when ordered the dosa was cold .. They serve with white coconut chutney, tomato chutney and sambhar... Unless you really crave for dosa when in lulu mall i wouldn't recommend having it 😐

The food counter looks appealing with its nice sign boards and that invited ourself to try it from their outlet in Lulu mall. But I'm sorry to say that we were terrible disappointed with the food as we felt it was not fresh and backwards in taste.
Masala dosa is just ok but not at all crisp or hot.
Channa was slightly undercooked.
Samosa was so dull and oven heating made it worst.
So in my opinion perhaps they could do better with food or may be we went on a wrong time 9 PM.

Very poor service, We didn't get what we ordered and they are not ready to replace it even we mentioned this at the time of delivery. Taste is good.
One of the worst stall @ Lulu Mall (For service quality).

The dosas are good here.. A bit pricey than other places.. And obviously the pricey ones taste better! Its Hygenic.. so definitely gets a nod for family eat outs. If youre fed up all the fast food and spices go pick up a dosa with some fresh coffee!
Ahamed Roshan
Their pricy dosas tastes good . I have grown a taste for thier slightly sweet sambar ! Don't expect value for money but they do justice to the south indian delicacy of Dosa
Steffi George
Always neat! Always clean! The best dosas and coffees, slightly more pricer than the regulars for their exceptional taste. A great place to go with family on a Sunday :)

I have been here many times . Its a very good restaurant . It will be full of people in noon because of the superb meal . It's veg curry is superb . I love it very much . You must eat here . At least once...

Nice food. Nothing fancy. If you're in Lulu early for breakfast, then this is an ideal place for you. Many varieties of dosas are available. The accompaniments are also pretty decent. The chutney and the sambar served were very nice. I ordered a plain roast, a masala dosa and coffee. Recommended if you need a decent south indian breakfast. Please note that they serve Chana batura also, but only post 12pm.
Le Fag
I love this restaurant. The huge rush at noon proves that it is among the most loved restaurants of the whole Ekm. Food is pure and really tasty. The cost is appropriate as well .
Anoop Nilaparambil
Highly priced average dosas. You can have it if there are no other options. The masala inside the Masala Dosa tastes like a north Indian sabji. Ghee dosa doesn't have much ghee in it. As I said, have it if there is no other option.
Jinu Mathew
Well i agree with many that the quantity or the size of the meal is lesser compared to its price, the qualiy and taste is not compromised. One must also be aware that this is an outlet inside a mall, so this price should be expected. The service is quick.
U Ashwin
This place is useless no value for money.the quantity is less and there are other places where better veg food is got at better rates . I would never recommend this place

Two of us been there couple of weeks ago. The Dosas were quite good and the white chutney specially good. Other items like batura, chapathi, curd vada, were ok. If you are in lulu mall and looking for South Indian snacks, this is a good option
Gayathri
Your regular vegetarian fare. Even though quite a few dosa varieties are listed in their menu..most often they only have the regular masala dosa and onion oothappam. If you don't have it why bother to put it in the menu. The coffee is good though. All in all nothing really exceptional.
Ajith Pullanikkat
Sometime traditional dosa and coffee can quench your thirst for taste better than anything. Dip into a Desi chutney with a hot dosa with sips of soothing coffee, ideal for a snack break in the evening after a breakless shopping at lulu.
Mathew Vellukunnel
Nothing exceptional... if you are a veggie, then this is the place to get in and try your regular stuff.... BTH has lived up to my expectations in the past but now a days I dont know... Good but not Great...
Goat Brain Sandwich

What can one say about BTH that has not been said already. BTH has been synonymous for food dosas and idli and of course the coffee. You just cannot go to BTH and not try out their coffee. We ordered masala dosa and coffee. In the first bite, so many memories, childhood memories came flooding back. BTH has managed to maintain its level of sophistication and high quality of taste and not let it effect our pockets. It still has that 'tharavaditham' (old family line). The coffee and dosa was the perfect combination to a great day. Nothing can be said about the food because its an experience that you need to have when you eat the food at BTH
