I've given it a 4 just because of the tandoori chicken and egg fried rice, so mouth watering and delicious. Butter chicken was also just good. But Kadhai paneer was not up to the mark and same was with chapatis. Nevertheless, it has good Ambience, courteous staff and timely service.
We had chicken biriyani and egg friedrice and both were very satisfying. I loved the ambience and good service. But its sad that only tomato sauce and chilli sauce is served with the friedrice. High time soy sauce be made mandatory in the restaurants.

Had a dinner at zaika. Good ambience. But the welcoming smell was not pleasant as the room was filled with the smell of the floor cleaner, anyways we got used to it.
The welcome drink "black tea" was a little strong flavoured. We intended to taste some squid as it was a "fish festival", but unfortunately they didn't have any squid as it was not available at the market. So we settled with chemeen piriyan masala, prawns biriyani, chicken mugalai(we asked for chickn dopiazo, but chef was absent).
The quality and taste was satisfactory. Biriyani was good.
Overall ambience was good.
The location is easy to find,ambiance is fine, I like the taste of food but serving time is pretty much. No language problem as staff understand Hindi and English,so if you have a good time in hand while roaming in Cochin city and Marin drive zaika is good place to eat
Very good tasty food offering with both veg and non-veg options.
Small restaurant. Parking is avaliable. Food is OK but bit expensive. Clean rest room and wash area. Clean and tidy. Supportive staff.

I am very much thrilled as I and my friend had a visit to this reasturant. The food was good specially the chicken Biryani and Fish curry meals.
