Review Drunken Coconut Bar & Cafe - Kochi (Cochin)

**The location is wrong on google maps. Come to the mermaid hotel.** Dark and cold bar. Good to come if you’re feeling hot. The definition of a man cave. Very good, and fast service. Nice and quiet too. Only talking and laughing filled the space.😁 Had to come near the washroom just to find a little bit of light so i could read a book😂❤️… The pork dry fry was wonderful! Spicy and fresh and made with love!…Did not have much for cocktails so i got a coffee. Thoughts make reality… i was expecting a bad coffee and that’s exactly what i got… even a packet of bru and sugar was not enough to fix it😂 … I admit it was my fault… just buy alcohol if you’re here!😜… very lovely place with some “local 80’s bar in america” vibes.. everyone definitely knew each other here, and when i walked in from the lobby of the hotel people were looking at me like “he must be lost!”😂 … happy to find it!…still loving my daily BDF whenever i find it too… pork is rare so i had to try it❤️

Good place to unwind for all those beer and wine fan. Ambience is good and price a bit high.

The place is super cool. Not so crowded. And the best option if you need a chill - hideout on some sunny days !! This place expresses great hospitality as the staffs are kind and friendly enough !! Air-conditioning and seating are so cozy and the minimal lights give you the best of the drinking ambiance in town... And all this at a fair price!!

One of the best bars in Kochi for me because it has that classy vintage vibe inside the bar, like '90s kinda interior, and the bartender here is super cool.

Mermaid Vyttila is an excellent bar and providing good service. This is our usual joint for a chilled beverage. Food is excellent. The location is also very nice near to the backwaters of Kochi. Very close to Vyttila mobility hub and metro station. A very good ambience and excellent food they serve. Very good and fast service. Hope all of you will like the place and have a chilled evening. Its a good place with Natural beauty of a lake near by. good place for a program orientations reception function get-together and all. Near to the Vytila Hub so that transportation also make easier for most districts of Kerala. Place consists of good seminar hall at top floor and Vip suit rooms are much better and affordable to the people little expensive bt also which is affordable... All food delivery like Uber eats , swiggy, zomato etc... are available there. Also the online booking facility for this hotel is available in OYO.

The best place to hangout near Vytila

Good place to chill ,not very crowded , so if your looking for private space where in you could sit in talk relaxed ,this could be one of it , the view by the pool side is also amazing especially at evening and night

Never order any beef items especially BDF. Chef didn't knew it

Located in one of the most accessible yet free from high traffic roadside in a naturally beautiful place near Vyttila hub ..the place is very beautiful and the service is good .. The bar is very good for a couple or group of friends hanging out.

Good food...superb ambience...reasonable rate...spacious car parking.... If you are staying you can enjoy superb swimming pool.

Mermaid Inn Bar is a very convenient place to stay and dine for the people passing through the Mobility Hub, Vytilla, Kochi. It is situated at Vytilla on the way between Vytilla and Thrippunithura.

A nice quiet place. Had some drinks there, Open till 11 pm.. Good behavior from the people.

I had these pork starters once and they were bloody brilliant. Good place to grab a few drinks with buddies. Ambience is alright although their service is slow. Should have extended the bar to their water frontage area which has a stunning view.

Wish I could give a 0 star to this place. Everything is terrible and beyond about this place. We've asked for some snacks at 9:25 PM and the reply from the staff was the last order time was already passed and kitchen is closed. He opened all 4 beer bottles by the time he said that and the only option we have was to finish the bottles without anything to eat although our plan was to have dinner from there. <br/>Moreover we see food served to out nearby table and that indicates the kitchen was not closed.<br/>The only snack available was corn flakes. Really?? You get a corn flakes as beer snacks?? it's not a breakfast guys !!!<br/>In short we had a terrible time there with worst customer service and stinky atmosphere. I would rate this as the worst beer parlour in town from my experience in general.

Drunken coconut is one place where they would serve you alcohol in the city even if you place the order one second before 11pm. Everyone else would claim the bar is closed. The ambiance is average. Cramped spaces and old upholstery. Still why do people go there? It is becasue the management/staff's liberal dealings with their customer. Order the beef chilli dry for the sides. When you're done. Take a walk to the poolside.
