It’s hard to fault The Burger Joint: the beautiful restaurant, great service and vast amount of choice on the menu generally always make for a great meal – and with that number of breads, patties, toppings, sauces and sides to choose from, you could probably eat there every week of your life and never have exactly the same order. Pretty impressive.

Lil' America, near infopark, Kakkanad..
We have been to their panampilly nagar outlet a few times and had mixed experiences.. And since they opened a new outlet near to our workplace we had to try it out.. So the Friday afternoon lunch out was planned there..
As usual the ambiance was great.. But the service could be improved.. The place wasn't too packed.. But still the water was served at the very end of our meal and after we asked for it..
Moving on to the food part:
1. Soup of the day - Chicken and pasta soup.. It was a simple soup with chunks of chicken and pasta.. Minimally seasoned, it had the consistency of a consomme.. A good start to the meal..
2. Lil America special hotdog - We skipped the entrées and jumped right into the main course.. This was the star of the day.. Perfectly cooked sausage wrapped in soft warm bun, smothered in sauces and mayo with a side of slaw.. Heaven!. 😍😍 we devoured it in minutes.. A must try!.
3. Roasted chicken whole - This was a big plate.. Chicken with skin on, oven roasted with lotsa seasoning and herbs with diced potatoes.. Another stunning dish to look at.. The skin was perfectly cooked.. Nice bit of char and crispy at places.. But it needed a bit more resting.. The chicken was a bit dry towards the bones..
4. Lil America special burger - a whopping burger! Large buns, large patty.. Lotsa toppings including a fried egg.. A filler by itself.. 😍😍
5. Penne Arrabbiata chicken - penne pasta in Arrabbiatta sauce with chicken.. If we hadn't over ordered the dishes we would've enjoyed this a bit more.. But still from what ever we could have, it was a good dish.. Well cooked pasta in plenty of sauce with chicken shreds.. Yum!. 😍😍
6. Tenderloin steak - we have already tried their steak and this time too it wasn't much different.. Our server forgot to ask our cooking preference for the steak and we forgot to mention the same to him.. So we got a well done steak.. The sauce was good and the mashed potato was yum.. But the steak was over cooked and chewy.. Next time we would need to tell them to make it medium rare..
Overall a pleasant experience.. Some good and some fair dishes.. The hot dog was the real star.. They have a few more variations available.. Definitely heading back to try them all!.

This is my 2nd visit to li’l America.. and this time I’m not that happy.. The food delivered was of good quality.. but lacked in quantity this time..it was not so last time and hence the 2nd visit with my friends .... since the items are a bit costly, I would suggest the management to increase the quantity a bit.. food was good.. just not filling..
We ordered 5 items for 5 of us.. and still left the place feeling that something was missing.. hence the 4 stars.. I would give it a 5 in terms of quality.
Updating the map precise location, so you won’t miss the spot. Very good food and awesome place who loves hip hop music. Ready to chill and relax.
This joint is my personal favourite. Really like the food and ambience. Quick and friendly staff who attend to you quickly. They have games too which you can play with friends.
Great place to hangout with your loved ones and family. Have great ambience , great menu and good food. There is lot of parking space available. Tho parking is chargeable if park more than an hour since parking is done in a common place. Have a nice outside sitting area as well which is quite nice in the evening and night times. Would definitely recommend to check out the place if your staying near kakkanad or near infopark area.
