Review Hotel Jaybees - Kochi (Cochin)

Two days ago i randomly visited here and eaten alfam mandhi.I was surprised by the quality and taste of the food.Really liked it.

I'm a regular visitor there. Love their "Idiyappam & egg roast " the most. The main highlight I felt is their tea. Very tasty and refreshing. And their Shawarma and Al Faham is good too. Recommended for those who opt for budget friendly restaurant near by Palarivattom.

I ordered biriyani and i got free roasted bugs along with it. This place is known for its famous atta fry. Good place for chinese and north east friends who loves to eat bugs and other insects.

Malabari chicken fry is awesome!!! This place is famous for biriyani's, though for me it's the malabari chicken that's tops the list.<br/><br/>Parking would be difficult, suggest opt for public transport or walkable distance from Palarivattom metro.

I odered three chicken biriyani @ 2.50pm and the saddest thing is still the food is not delivered. I already done payment by online. Hotel owner gave the delivery boys number and I’m trying him for past two hours. Worst experience i ever had. Shame zomato<br/>

It's an average place to have food if you are looking for some pocket-friendly places in Palarivattom. The menu actually depends on what time you go to this place because at a given time, some of the things mentioned on the menu board might not be there, so you'll have to ask the server what all are there. The ambience is nothing as such to talk about, all you can do here is just come, sit and eat food. The service though is not very slow, but it takes some time for the food to come to your table. <br/>So, I ordered for Chicken biriyani and Lemon Juice. The biriyani was kind of dry, not much masala, the chicken however was delightful in it. Chicken was perfectly cooked, full of flavours, but the flavours did not seep into the biriyani rice though. The lemon juice which I had received was, I believe, not a fresh one, it did not taste right. I had asked him for a sweet and salt lemon juice, what i received was an overload of salt and sugar lemon juice. I am kind of skeptical about this place, I might or might not visit this place again. Love their biriyani and beef. Nothing great about the ambience. Normal service. A place to eat. Not a place to spend time and eat. Quick service. Rates are not high.

I would give it a 3.5 rating but that option is not available here.<br/>Tried out this hotel at 11 pm at night.<br/>Chappathy and porotta were tasty.<br/>Dry Pepper chicken wasn't available, so i ordered the gravy type and found it to be delicious.<br/>The chicken roast was also very good. The food was cheap and it was a delight to find food at these rates at a prime place like this. The ambience was just satisfactory but it was clean. Overall it was a delightful experience.

Jaybee , located near palarivatton Jn . Ambience is ok. Visited with family and ordered prawns biriyani which is good and enough quantity. Pricing is comparatively okay also. Having enough car parking space.

Jaybees is your no-nonsense, next door restaurant. Comfy seating and warm smiles are what frankly stood out !<br/><br/>As I walked in (contemplating my options), I see an elderly man relishing some porottas and fried chicken. I couldn't resist the thought of fried chicken and followed suit. Great quantity of Chicken and well prepared porottas is what we got !! Satiated.<br/><br/>I hear that their biriyanis are on point too. Like how my friend/ brother days - If you can make biriyanis right, then you must be good !

One of the better restaurants in that area. Chicken Fried Rice is pretty filling, although quantity has gone down recently. Try their Ginger Chicken. Fish curry meals are great and value for money. Biryani is a little too oily for my liking. Just be careful while placing your order, because the staff is inexperienced and there have been mix-ups.

This would certainly be the restaurant from where I have had the max number of meals not just because it's in my neighborhood. It is also not any where close to a connoisseurs dream, but if you are hungry and you are in or around palarivattom give it a try. You won't be disappointed. You get what you are paying for. The chilly beef dry and porotta is highly recommended. Biriyanis are quite tasty too. They are becoming a bit stingy with the quantity recently. The cuisine style has also been changing from central Kerala style to north Kerala style. All said and done, this is one of my go to place near palarivattom.<br/><br/>Happy snacking,<br/>AR
