A restaurant tucked away right by the main road, I am glad I visited this place. You'll be greeted by reviews and comments from actors upon entering the restaurant.
Seating capacity is decent. Comfortable too.
We went in at about 2pm, seats were available. We had chicken Biryani. Tasted soooo great. Flavour was nice. Presentation was different than normal and nice looking. Good mix of masala and rice.
Quantity was good. Fills you up. Chicken pieces were nice too, goes good with the rice.
Also had fresh lime, which was good too.
Service was great. Staffs were nice. Parking capacity is ok. The menu shows a lot of other good options.
Would recommend a visit here.
Very good restaurant. Nice food, pretty good ambience and good friendly service. Don't like the biriyani though. Try their daily specials. Haven't gotten wrong till date. The appam is really good. A good combo would be chicken curry items.
Had combo chicken 555 and naan, fried chicken with rice and kadai paneer.
All dishes were so good. Chicken 555 was strips batter fried in sauce sweet tomato.. Similar to chilly chicken...very juicy and tasty. Fried chicken was having a spicy flavor. U don't even need mayo to try it. Kadai paneer had a good taste. I didn't expect it to be soo good. All dishes were upto standard
We had hot and sour chicken soup, Lebanese Alfam, BBQ Alfam and chicken noodles. The food was really nice and had decent quality as well as quantity taking into consideration the price. The staff are friendly and hospitable. They got a good parking space as well which was quite useful.
Nice ambience. Film themed caricatures on the wall. Service is slow. Even to take orders and to serve. The food was tasty. We ordered two different biriyanis and both tasted differently. Kashmiri biriyani was spicy and tasty. Charcol biriyani was a different blend of tastes. Iced teas were good too. Food was worth the money
Food is good, ambiance and service was nice but please check the price before ordering. We had Grilled chicken, Beef Steak, Beef pizza, French fries, Peanut banana shake & Hot chocolate. Except Hot chocolate everything else was good. Service was really nice. Bit expensive.
Stopped by for a quick meal at tea time but almost every thing on the menu was available. Service was decent. Seating areas also extend away into interior rooms.. Food was OK but not exceptional. Biriyani felt a little dry and charcoal grilled chicken a little too wet and had too much masala. Taste was decent.
The food was okay. The service was kind of awkward. Some were good. Some were acting too busy. Parking was available and seats were also available. Restaurant seems to be celebrity oriented. Saw many pics and writings of famous actors visiting. But couldn't find that hype there. The beef steak was yum except that the beef was a lil chewy. Couldn't feel that much tenderness. Overall a good place and slightly overpriced.
I have been here for at least 3 times in few months actually. Their food is just so amazing and so good. My personal favourite is the Mexican beef with Simla rice🤤😍.Not to mention the staff.... Really nice people providing great service😊. And also the interiors are cozy and nice too. Overall, Pepper Boat has never disappointed me, and I hope they stay the same. Keep serving amazing food always guys 🥳. Best wishes✌🏻.
It is the third time that we have taken dinner from there. I really enjoyed the appam, stew and duck. Staff are courteous and friendly, and there is a good atmosphere in the hotel. It is a well-maintained and professionally organized restaurant makes for a pleasant dining experience. For sure, I would recommend this to others as well!

Updated - Dec 2022: Visited again with friends from thrissur. We had seafood bucket (half), veg fried rice- gobi manchurian, crab 65, honey garlic potato, charcoal chicken biriyani,lime iced tea & pinacolada.
Seafood bucket has mixed seafood curry and 2 porotta with a bowl of rice. It cost around 700 & easily serve 3-4 people. curry and porotta and rice all were really really nice - highly recommend. sharing photos below.
charcoal chicken biriyani was average.
crab 65 was tasty, but its not just flesh fried, it comes with shell so task to eat. but i recommend it coz it was tasty- comes with onion rings also.
honey garlic potato, gobi manchurian amd veg fried was really good - from a place that specializes on seafod, u never expect veg items to be this good.
Feb 2022: Had seen this place many times but never had a chance to visit. Usually wenever our family visit from thrissur, we take them to Arippa. But tat place is too crowded & also long queue to get a seat. So we were looking for a decent place - decided to try this place.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food & service.
We ordered Prawns 65, grilled hamoor fish, chapathi & kadai chicken.
Prawns 65 was too good. i dont like prawns much, but this one was absolutely delicious.
The grilled fish comes with a side of sauteed veggies & butter garlic rice & mint chutney - it was yum. I loved it.
Chapathi & kadai chicken was also good.
All these enough for 2-3 people.
The staff was genuinely polite & eager to serve
I'll definitely visit again with family.
Good food at a reasonable price.
The ambience is very good and food taste good too.
There is plenty of parking and it is easily accessible from the main road.
This place is mostly free even during the peak time.
The staffs are not that friendly or helpful.
I am not saying they are bad or something but the are not really into us

Roadside family restaurant. Great food. Oonu was very tasty and in good quantity. Seafoods also of good taste. Tender coconut scoops were really good. High priced. Online payment also accepted. Great service. Good ambience. Clean and spacious dining space. Ample shop front parking space.

The main reason I travel to kochi is to visit Pepper Boat. I am in love with their food and there team . I usually have their fish grill, which is my most favourite. Today I tried their Beef Ribs and fish curry. The beef ribs was out of this world. I can confidently say this is one the best restaurant in Kerala. Must try for all the foodies!
