A must visit place to try sweets if u wnt to have some unique sweets and snacks. They have a good variety of sweets , snacks and beverages. The baked kachagolla was awsm but the service is really slow.

We tried the blueberry doi which was delicious, however the mango lassi was not cold at all. Lassi taste good when it is cold/chilled. Their baked rosogollas are the best but kochuris and and are not that great, can skip it for sure.

As a bengali favourite sweet shop, it's my previllage to taste the renowned sweet delicacy at this confectionary . My first sight experience was really very good. As this shop is located in the south kolkata, so the price range is a bit of high. But there is no compromise with the taste and quality. There are so many items there, out of which we mainly tried few items. First one is Butterscotch Sondesh and the second one is the chocolate fusion Sondesh. We also tried the Rose chocolate sondesh. all were well balanced in sweetness as well as freshness. price range was from rs 15 to 30. we also tried the koraisuti r kochuri. That was also very good and served with alur dom. cost merely 15 rs each. But the amount of the alurdom is sufficiently low. Also there were unavailability of the Mango Ziletto Sondesh which is a renowned delicacy of this shop. All over my experience was good cause there is a bengali essence in the food items. But lastly i expect a more cordial behaviour from the lady attendeants of that shop. And yes there is a 5 percent GST associated with it. there is detailed review in pictures.

So many sweet (& savoury) options that you would be spoilt for choice. Their Instant snacks are great and honestly priced (thought not high on the nutrition scale) and their sweets are absolutely divine. They have carefully labelled each item telling you the shelf life so you can make your purchases accordingly. There are also packaged goods that you can carry on flights for people in other parts of the country like the Nalen gur baked Rosogollas which are absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Although you can stand and eat at the shop, it’s mostly take away. Service is a bit slow as the people behind the counters tend to have long conversations while the customer waits. This can be a bit of a deterrent as there’s no parking outside and people are often in a hurry. Payment by cash or online

All sweet and snack items are excellent. Taste is next level. But all items are too expensive. In addition, they charge GST also.

Got home delivery done to office for radhaboullobi with Aloo, fresh mango sondesh , mango Misti and just loved it. So while travelling back to Delhi I went to the shop to get the stuff packed and just loved the entire range of sweets they had. Tasty, yummy and I hardly had 5 minutes to pick up the stuff but the lady on the counter was supper fast. Also these guys are award winner of most innovative Cadburys Misti award for years in a row. The largest variety of sweets are found only here . There are many branches all over Kolkata . All flavours of sandash are available and my most favorite is baked rosogolla.

Tried Mango flavoured doi, strawberry flavoured doi, mishti doi and chocolate flavoured doi. All of them tasted delicious and it's quality is quite good. Lacks dalda. The mishti doi one is almost similar to Amul's mishti doi which is available at a much lesser price. Among these strawberry flavoured one is my favourite. Would like to try more items from this shop in future 😋

The quality is detoriating day by day. Some items still remain the best. But some items like mishti doi are presumably made with the sugar syrup of rasogolla, depriving it of the tinge of sourness that mishti doi brings. It also is really heavy on the stomach. Most of the sweets are too sweet nowadays. But still remains one of the best

The chops were smelly, rotten and had become sticky inside they had become unconsumable and had to be thrown away. The misti doi was in a used box with dirt on the side and no cover. The look of it is most unappetizing and in these days such unhygienic practice is just not acceptable. That too from a reputed establishment like this. Very disappointed and totally unacceptable

Had taken half a kg of gur sandesh. Their cheating staff put gur sandesh only in the front where it was visible, rest of the box had the cheaper non-gur variation. Extremely disappointed by their service. Was in Kolkata only for a day and their cheating staff is the memory I’ll be taking back.

I don't think so this BM&RM are original once. I asked for singara and imarti. Hot a call saying don't have Singara and take replaced. After huge conversation i said what do you have in replacement i asked 2-3 items they said they don't have any of them available. So after completing i got just two imarti piece though it was clearly written 3 pieces will be given and that too after 1hr and it was cold. Didn't liked there anything from this outlet. It was by mistake i ordered from here otherwise i also eat from Prince Anwar Shah road outlet. Poor experience.

This place is one of those places in Kolkata you can't afford to miss. They have a variety of new and improvised sweets with a totally different mind blowing taste.<br/><br/>Their menu includes baked roshgulla, baked bread , baked brownie. We also tried the chamcham and on the suggestion of the shop keeper we tried the coconut water mithai(I don't exactaly remember the name).<br/><br/>I specially found the baked rashgulla and the bread the best , the brownies was a bit on the sweeter side the cham Cham was great.<br/><br/>If you would like to try something different and new this is the place. They have a wide range of Misti Doi too.<br/><br/>They have various other outlets too.<br/><br/>Must visit places.

Disgusting experience with Balaram Mallick, food quality is worst, they deliver cold and old food. They never deliver fresh food. Worst experience ever!

Baked Rosogolla is a must have!

We went to this outlet on Ashtami. Despite being one of the pujo days, few items like kheer doi wasn't available in the morning itself, which is still fine. But what I want to mention is the behaviour of the staff. Being such a famous name, you need to hire courteous staff to serve the customers or atleast teach them basic manners.<br/>We had ordered :<br/>1. Dahi vada (fresh and yummy)<br/>2. Mango Doi (fine)<br/>3. Chocolate Mudpie (too dry)<br/>When I asked the staff why the Mudpie was so dry, he answered quite rudely that this is how it is supposed to be. So I told him that I have had the same thing at their salt lake branch and it was much better, he still argued. You are charging 50 rupees for 100gms of chocolate mudpie and giving leftovers, that is not acceptable.

The food and sweets taste good no doubt but as we know, that’s not enough as there are tough competition and they are all worthy. I visited the place today to buy sweets for Lakshmi Puja with my mom and dad. We were not being able to decide and we were ordering a lot of things at the counter. There were two staff who started whispering to each other and making fun of us about the amount of food we were buying and the reason for our size being big and started smirking. This is utterly disgusting and unacceptable as the food is not free rather costs a lot and if these kind of service continues of insulting people I am not going back to this disappointing outlet again.

I'd heard about this place a lot, so one day I decided to try it out. I had bought the famous baked rossogolla, jol bhora shondesh and chhanapora.<br/>But when me and my family ate it at home, we were utterly disappointed. The chhanapora still tasted better as compared to the others.<br/>I must say, the place is unnecessarily expensive. The jolbhora shondesh was definitely not fresh.<br/>North Calcutta has way better sweet shops...! People of South Calcutta... You all are missing out on the best Mishti...!<br/>I'll NEVER visit this overhyped, over expensive place again.<br/>

Ordered Mishti doi, 1kg, and received 2 containers, one of half kg and the other of lesser quantity. Also confirmed the smaller container by showing it to delivery executive. This is the 2nd time that this has happened.<br/>Last time Zomato staff was very prompt and refunded me money for one container but this time, no action has been taken.

একগাদা চিনি দিলেই মিষ্টি হয় না! মিষ্টিতে মিষ্টির পরিমাণ সঠিক রাখাটাও একটা শিল্প। আজ taste করলাম এই দোকানের অর্ডার দিয়ে বানানো একটা একশো টাকার মিষ্টি। বন্ধুরা মিলে সবাই ভাগ করে খেলাম। অপূর্ব তার স্বাদ, এখনও জিভে লেগে আছে। অবশ্যই বলব একবার খালি taste করুন।

The sweet shop is well know establishment since 1885.<br/> This place is located in Ballygunge Phari.  It is spacious as compared to other sweets shops. If there is a crowd in the place you can still easily move around.<br/> <br/>I have been her a lot of times. This time I wanted to try chocolate tart and donut. Donut was okay the dough was very dry and but it was the right amount of sweet. Chocolate tart is amazing. I usually don’t like tarts but here I liked it. This place is not really known for their western delicacies but the indian delicacies are good.<br/><br/>The place is expensive as compared to other sweet shops but the food is worth the price.<br/> Service is good. They work fast and you won’t have to wait even if it is crowded.

An offer on an online food delivery app prompted me to order some snacks/savouries from the reputed sweet shop Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick which also serves savouries these days. ( Second order of the day from the said outlet )<br/><br/>The packaging :  Came in their usual  thin board box used to pack sweets . <br/><br/>The actuals : <br/>Ordered for one each of Corn , Mushroom and cheese patties .<br/>Due to non availability at their end , received two corn patties and a Veg burger .<br/>Now for the rude shock : <br/>Corn patties :  Too oily , flaky , dry without any substantial filling .  Avoid at all cost.<br/><br/>Veg burger : Dry hard bread with equally dry and stale patty gone sour inside  . No layering of any fresh vegetable inside other than some dry shrivelled leaf which one can see in the attached picture. <br/>Inedible.<br/><br/>The Verdict  : Atrocious to say the least . Though Balaram Mullick is a name to reckon with as far as their sweets are concerned , they should hugely improve their savouries or at best discontinue serving them.

Although, I am not a big fan of sweets, I like mildly sweet sweets especially the Sandesh. I have visited this place several times to taste the varieties of sandesh. Every time, I have treated my taste buds with some quality sweets. I do like the baked Rasgulla of this place. A must visit place for all the sweets lovers.

No words can explain how much me and my family lives the baked rosogolla and baked misti doi from Balaram mullick. Blueberry sondesh, dryfruit laddu and mud pie are my favourites.

This is a very good snacks and sweet shop. I tasted a lot of dishes from here. Dhokla, baked rosogolla, chocolate sandesh etc are really awesome. Items are a bit overpriced. But taste ia really good. I frequently eat from this shop. There are many items to be tasted.

I've had Gur souffle quite a few times earlier from various outlets. But the ones I took from the Ballygunge outlet, half of them turned out to be sour. If you have unsold older sweets is better to dispose them rather than give to the customers.

First time visited this branch. Found it is better than other branches. Tried multiple varieties of sweet and each item was fresh.<br/>Will visit again.

Balaram's are no ordinary shop in Kolkata.<br/>They are all Bengali's favourite and so is mine.<br/>I've had sweets from here many times and they were just as perfect as their looks. They make some perfect Desserts for you enriched with much sweetness, goodness and delight. Tourists in Kolkata should be here if they really wanna experience the true Bengali sweets.

One of the beat place for sweet lovers . Their baked rasgulla , baked dahi, daber sobdesh are my all time favourite . They also serve with variety fruit flavour sweets and sondesh like pineapple sondesh etc . The pricing is standard .

Honestly too good sweets. I tried almost all sweets of them by this time. But the best I liked is the chocolate sandesh which has a dairy milk on top. Just too good. For all occasions in my house their sweet is a must. Love for them.

On any special occasion for sweets, balaram mullick has never disappointed me. We’ve had their baked rosogolla several times and it’s yummy to say the least. I’m especially fond of their choco excess sandesh and kaju barfi. Also their rasmalai. And I can keep going on!!

They have the best mud pie one can ever have. The quantity is also good as per the amount that is charged. I also had their baked rosogulla and it was nice too. The sweets are fresh and tasty! Will definitely repeat their mud pie.

Baked Rassagolla was heavenly good. I am not a sweet lover but this outlet made best sweets among all over south kolkata I believe. Tremendously recommended for everyone.

Chocolate Sandesh,Mudpie Cake,Aam Doi,Mango Kulfi along with other sweets and snacks are the specialities from this shop.Basically,the sweets are too good,although I named only the ones which I like the most.Other than this other sweets are also good.However,I think they should really work upon their snack items.Anyways,keep up the good work.

I had ordered for home delivery from this joint hoping to get standard food...I had ordered snacks and their recommended sweets but I just found that they packed less of most products I had ordered...I am disappointed that such a great franchise can be this careless...such negligence is not expected and I'm very disappointed...I hope I nor anybody have to ever face this problem again...I am just frustrated when 2 of my friends didn't get their share...

the free sandesh as shown in tomato treat was not delivered. I don't know who is the defaulter, zomato or the restaurant.
