Review Flavours Of China - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Partha Basak
We ordered prawn fried rice which was very tasty. Chicken Sui is ok. Garlic pepper chicken was nicely prepared and we liked it very much. Chicken Malaysian noodles was great. The place is little busy and crowded. The staffs are very cooperative. The atmosphere was very nice. We liked the interior decor.

Very nice experience! The food, the ambience and the service is top notch. Adequate amount of food in a reasonable price. A must visit place

This place is known for its legacy in Kolkata. I have nothing more to add to it. One mention about the quantity of food. 1serving is more than sufficient for 3 people. So order mindfully.

I think if you are trying first time or you prefer more Indian food..then don't try ...this..chicken and mushroom main course item... Otherwise...fried rice , honey chicken (starter) , tandoori chickn all are good... But it was a very costly restaurant for me...

According to me this is the best restaurant in Park Street Area, where you can get 5 star restaurant like ambience, services in affordable price. I loved the ambience, customer service and mainly the food quality...Its top notch. Perfect place for couples, friends, meet-ups and also its family friendly. They also provide booking for private parties like office parties, birthday parties, Anniversary celebration etc. Now coming to the food: We've ordered Fried Prawn Balls, Mixed Fried Rice with Pork, Mixed Hakka Noodles With Pork, Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken. We loved those all.

Bar-B-Q is one of the best places in Park Street area to try Chinese cuisine (though they serve some mughlai items too). The old Calcuttan vibe is perfect to spend a quality time and have some booze as well. The food takes a little time to arrive, but it's okay considering the number of sitting capacity they have. Staffs are friendly, food items are very much affordable considering other food joints around the place. Tried many items here, most of thems were delicious and quantity is huge. Only I found the chicken pieces in Kung Pao chicken was pretty soggy and the mocktails were not upto the mark. Overall it is one of my favourite places in Park Street to hangout with.
Ananya Majumdar
My all time favorite restaurant in kolkata. I would strongly recommend for this restaurant. I must say that one plate is enough for three persons, they give as much quantity.
Poulami Das
Some eateries need no introduction...so is this place...located very near to Trincas, this place can accomodate a lot of people together without hampering the service.Nice crowd and so is the food. Their portions are so good that its more than enough for two in a dish. And such good taste!!! Dont forget to try their choco fudge, it stole the show!!! A lovely place for foodies....

Outstanding place for dinner or lunch with friends or families. Great food quality and good service also from the staffs. Recommended for everyone!

Go to place if nothing is coming in mind. They serve one of the best Chinese in kolkata. I usually end up going to this place for a quick grab post office. Last week I was there. Started with sweet corn chicken soup, followed by main course - chicken halka noodles and chicken with cashews & mushroom. The quantity which is provided in a single plate is enough for 3 people. I always like going here and relish on Chinese food.

Bar-B-Q is one of the popular restaurants in Park street where you can enjoy with your family, friends or colleagues. It is quite spacious and serves both North Indian and Chinese cuisine. Yesterday we had Chicken dumplings in red curry and chicken Sui mai for starters. The red curry was delicious and Sui mai tasted so good that we ordered once again. In main course we had Chicken fried rice and Chicken with mushrooms and veggies. The side dish had a mild taste and wasn't spicy at all. For desserts we had the hot fudge and tutti fruity. Service however needs to improve. Seemed they have staff shortage and finding out a waiter to order food didn't seem to be a smooth process.

amazing experience in such a rush. also the restaurant it so big we had to run through so many hallways to get a seat. but dim sum was too good chewy and juicy. loved the Malaysian noodles and garlic chicken alotttttt. our server was very nice and helpful kudos to him wish I knew his name. also ambience is like a old style dark academia it does gives the feels. lovd everything about it.

THE INVENTORS OF RICE NOODLES in Kolkata. This is yet another iconic restaurants in Kolkata with a long history. Food preparation and there chefs can’t go wrong at any given day. I have been visiting this place over years and have several happy memories. Place needs no introduction to anyone in Kolkata. Although none of there Chinese dishes uses Bhetki fish and only Basa but the way it is being prepared you will not miss Bhetki. Mixed rice noodle and fish with mushroom white sauce is quite a dinner and a must try . However the only drawback of the place is there staff mostly in black blazer has there strange attitude while allocating place to guest. Although I know it is a tough job with so much rush but I would love to see a smile at their face and be polite. All the hard work of the chef goes is vain if inspite of tasty food the staff don’t get well trained. Everyone single time I visit this place it’s like a big thing to sit on a table. Seems like not only me most of the quests are stressed out as where they will be told to sit by the “men in black” 😊. So if you are visiting this place best option is go for a parcel or pickup trust me saves time and you get to enjoy the best of the food. Changes the whole experience. Fees tables are very closely seated and you get to know lot of others life when you are there.

The Bar-B-Q is an absolute legend when it comes to Indo-Chinese Cuisine. Special thanks to Mr. Raj Kumar Pradhan for elevating our dining experience!

best chinese restaurant . tasty foods.always recommendable. we love to visit here ! everytime they makes fresh foods . the golden fried prawn is soo tasty !
Paul Rozario
Bar-b-q resturant park Street famous for its Chinese cuisine. We visited this place with my family and friends during weekends, some time back. The ambience was surreal, calm and relaxing. Coming to starters we ordered golden prawn, fish finger and dry chilly chicken. Prawn was fresh and cooked to perfection but the batter coating was little thick than expected. Fish finger was also very tasty with thin crunchy crust. Clear soup also tasted good as expected. Coming to the main course we ordered rice noodles, fried rice with chilly chicken. All the items tasted awesome with right amount of spices. No compromise on quality or quantity. In dessert we order brownie with vanilla ice-cream but it turned out to be a bummer and average! Overall the experience was good and would surely recommend others to visit this place if you are a Chinese lover.

Yuuuuuummmmmm yuuuuummmmmm dumplings. 😊 Highly recommended, will order again for sure. ❤

As an admirer of this age-old restaurant, I was utterly disappointed with the delivery services of this place. I had ordered one portion of rice and vegetable coins in hot garlic sauce, but there were some pieces of noodles in the gravy. 😶
At this time of the pandemic where hygiene issues should be given utmost importance, I wasn’t able to understand how those noodles reached my gravy and I couldn’t stop thinking of all the reasons. Anyway, never ordering from this place again, at least now!

Nice place to have original Chinese foods. The tastes are so authentic. I ordered chicken fried rice and prawn cantonese. The chicken fried rice was so good and tasty and the prawn cantonese is very delicious. The place is well hygienic and well maintained.

Thank

Amazing packaging and tasty food. Really happy with their service.
I had ordered for Mixed Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. The chicken was really tasty and so was the rice. Loved it!

Sliced steam fish with a choice of sauce - The fish was perfectly cooked and had flavour of soya sauce, it was not a spicy dish at all. Can be paired well with any noodle or rice item.

Chicken pan fried noodle - It's a complete meal, one need not order any side dish with it... it's a blend of many flavours on one plate.

Chicken fried rice - It was light and was not much different than the usual Chicken fried rice available at restuarants. One definitely needs a proper side dish to go with it.

Prawn pepper - My personal favourite... if you are a prawn lover then this dish is a perfect starter that you would crave for whenever you order food from Flavours.

Kung Pao Chicken- This dish can be ordered as a starter and also can be a perfect match with a rice or a noodle item. Moreover, that little sweetness added to the dish made it different compared to the usual concept of Spicy Chinese food available at Flavours.

We had gone in thinking it was Bar B Q.The old world charm of this place has been kept intact with its red carpets and dark interiors. Maybe a bit too dark. They also have a liquor section, which is quite a looker.
We ordered mixed hakka noodles and fish in oyster sauce. The mixed hakka noodles was quite tasty with generous pieces of pork, prawn, chicken. You can add the soy sauce, vinegar with chillies and red chilli sauce as per your liking.
The fish dish was superb. It came in quite a large bowl and had 8 good sized pieces of fish. It was mildly spicy. You get a feeling of melt in your mouth when you put these fish pieces in your mouth. Fish is my favorite gravy dish at these famous Chinese restaurants.
The noodles was 255/- and the fish dish was 395/-.
Definitely recommended

Calcuttan Chinese Hot Spot. Price is a bit high, but when it comes to ambience and good food, this place is a must visit. I've been here a 100+ times. The staff is somewhat satisfactory. The toilets are sometimes left unhygienic by visitors. Everything else is just fine. A five star rating from me. No complaints till date.

Another great food restaurant! Visited this place with my family members and we had:
Chicken tikka kebab
Chicken malai kebab
Chicken butter masala
Mutton korma
Tandoori roti
Will visit again! Cheers!

The place has rude and misleading staff. We ordered crispy dry chilli chicken. We told the waiter, that we wanted dry chilli chicken, several times. What we got, almost seemed like a bad version of KFC chicken. The staff was extremely rude. They told us that we should have ordered dry chilli chicken. When I pointed out that there was no dry chilli chicken on the menu, they said that we should have ordered it anyway. It made no sense.
Soumya Mukherjee
Misleading staff, rude and arrogant waiters, not at all cooperative. Waiter used foul language. Coming to the point, they serve something like KFC if you order dry chili chicken at peak hours.
Jyoti Rao
Classic is what defines Flavours of China. The essence of park street, i,e; good food and good ambience is done justice here. However I would like to make a suggestion about the service by stating that when an order is placed from a table, it should be made sure that all the dishes ordered by all the members of the table are brought together otherwise half the ppl are sitting idle waiting for their food and the other half inspite of getting the food cannot start as it does not seem courteous.
Sayan Mitra
Forever favourite place for having chinese. Love the ambiance and decor. Staffs are very much courteous. Recommended dishes are Wontons, Noodles, Pepper Fish, Noodles, Chicken 65. Also some amazing mocktails are served here.
.
Overall a great experience. Recommended!

I love chinies food.. So planned for this place.. Awsam Chinese food. Quality and quantity both are good. A bit cosy and I felt it quite expensive.. Otherwise everything is good.. Ambience and surrounding everything is good..

Been planning to visit here since long. Had visited Bar-B-Q couple of times but never here before. We entered around 5 pm, looking for a late lunch. The ambience is really nice. Ideal for either a date or a family outing or just eating out with friends. We ordered one Chinese chop suey and one kung pao chicken. The price is really decent given the quantity and quality. The chop suey was served with crispy noodles, and loads of protein and veg, all being simultaneously very healthy and tasty. Also, the kung pao chicken was filled with not just chicken but also cashew. However, i expected it to be more spicy. We also ordered a fresh lime soda (salted), though they gave us a sweet one, but anyways that's okay. Overall, 4.5/5 is apt and gonna visit here again.

We went here for lunch on Saturday. This was our first visit in years. There was a short wait after which we were ushered to our table. One small thing that made me uncomfortable was an advertisement board that's been put up across the road. It plays quite flashy advertisements and they are appear too bright from the dim interior of the restaurant.
We ordered Lung Fung Soup, Chicken Fried Rice, Sizzling Exotic Vegetables, and Prawns with Chilli Oyster Sauce. The soup was very thick and full of chicken and veggies, the fried rice was exquisite, the veggies sizzled and the prawns were delightful (the gravy had mushroom). Overall it was a good experience. The service was a bit disappointing. The cashier's frequent absence from his desk did not make the job easy for the waiters. I look forward to my next visit.

I went there on pujo with my friends . We ordered -
*Chicken rashmi Kebab .
*Chicken Fried rice .
* Chicken hakka noodles .
* one chicken main course .
All dishes were very tasty . the noodles was lil bit oily but it didn't lack taste :p .

On my personal experience they literally brought china to India. How delicious food they serve and how amazing the taste is. You will become fond of the meal and you'll visit this place again definitely.

We went for dinner on 13.10.19. We're around 8 people. As we enetered the restaurant on the first floor, a short height dark complexioned steward 'rudely' told that there was no table available and to go to the adjoining section. We reasoned that it was only 7.05 pm and many empty tables were visible at which he told he can't help. We went to the adjoining section bar b q where the steward told that all tables were occupied and to go to flavours of China. We returned back where another steward (probably from North East) told us not to unnecessarily waste his time. We should have booked and come. Absolutely dismal and rude way of talking to a customer. We had to bear such pathetic behaviour of both stewards. They seem to treat customers as if they are doing a favour. Over the years it has been my experience that most stewards of bar b q and flavours of China act as if they are supreme and clients are being done a charity on. They treat customers as if food is being provided for free. Such pathetic behaviour and unprofessional attitude only brings disdain to such an established brand. Better to avoid this restaurant.......

Chinese is one of my favourite cuisine to be honest 💯
I have been there once with my friend
Food was quite good
Easy to reach as located in park street area
Jaisa name Bilkul nhi waisa kaam.
Had my worst money wasting experience there.
On our first anniversary we landed there and thought of having a good time. We asked the waiter uncle there what we can order and he suggested. We went on with that and had the disaster of my life. The chicken was literally shitty. The chowmin was also not upto the mark. Only the baby corn was the saviour.

Would not like to recommend.

Say Cheese to Chinese!

If one is looking for authentic and hygienic Chinese food in gigantic proportions, delicious taste, decent presentation and classy style, this is the address.
Ordered Pan Fried Chilli Fish for starter
Malaysian Rice Noodles with Shredded Chicken, Cantonese Prawns, Vegetable Fried Rice and Hunan Chicken for Main Course.

So we went there for lunch and we found an extra ingredient i.e cockroach in our tandoori aloo..!! And they were extremely ok with it that it was very normal for them they asked us to replace the dish with the fresh one but we said no...so guys before goin think twice bt if u all like cockroaches in ur dishes then they are providing it for free...!! I was really fond of this place bt now i hate it really disgusting..!!

Bar be q was my all time favourite however this time my experience was not good....basically for traffic we reached there late around 3pm...however we were allowed to sit but afterwards while taking order the manager said that we will have to order all of the stuffs together as their kitchen will be closing soon and we were okay with that...after that they came with the food however we ordered a dish basically it was a starter lat me Kai which is a lovely dish that they serve but it was little different this time as it was slightly burnt and as they were in a hurry it tasted totally different from the last time.....after 15mins they were so much in a hurry that in between one man came and served the rest of the starter which they usually don't do in normal times.....after that while we were having our food one waiter came and he forcefully wanted to serve the main course when we said that we do d not want that later he forced us to keep the food in our table in that also we agreed....after that one manager said that they need to wrap up fast and he served the main course and little later he came and served the rest of the dish forcefully in our plates saying that they are getting late.....addition to this the food was horrible...trust me it was not the food for which bar be q is one of my favourite..the chicken dish tasted as a roadside dish.....when we were having our food that manager came and told us in a rude manner to finish up as they need to close......
This is what I experienced today and I am really disappointed and shocked....this is the way they behave with their customers...I want to ask if they were closing then why we were allowed to sit inside and if we were allowed to sit inside then why we will accept this kind of behavior where I am not having my food in free I am paying for the food so why will I except this...and you people could have told us that our kitchen will be closing soon we could have searched for other options...but where I am paying for the food I was not allowed to enjoy my food and we were indirectly thrown out of the restaurant.....and moreover as they were in a hurry they made quickly some horrible stuffs and served us which was not at all matched with the food I had before.......this is really not accepted when I am paying the full money...I was forced to leave my beer half glass....this is just not acceptable......and today it was my last visit there....

We tried special mixed fried rice and shredded lamb. This place has my heart.
The best chinese food ever.
The special mixed rice had ample amount of chicken , pork, lamb, shrimp
And the shredded lamb was very soft and spicy.
The pocket pinch was about 750₹
Shinjini Raychaudhuri
We went there to have dinner. as usual the place was crowded, but luckily we got a table. We ordered sweet and sour pork and BBQ sauce Pork and both of them were not up to the mark. The quantity was enough for two people however the quality was average.
Sounak Chakraborty
Good ambience , was eagerly waiting to visit this place and finally we were here.

Coming directly to the Food , well this restaurant serve both Indian nd chinese . However we preferred to go with Chinese .

In starter, we tried red pepper Fish :- really good one , fish quality is extremely good

We have ordered mix gravy noodles (full of veggies , good for your health too), what I loved The most In this the prawn .

In side dish , we tried sweet and sour pork .
Well it is a good combination altogether and we have enjoyed a lot.

Coming to the quantity , 1 by 2 is the option we choose because they serve plenty in that price.

The Staffs were friendly and polite :-)

Fantastic place with fantastic food. Nice environment. Good for party arrangements. And fabulous food quality with quantity. Must visit place.

Well I heard so much about this place and I really wanted to try it out. The food was slightly above average. But only just. What shocked me was the manger’s attitude right from taking our reservation over a call, to offering us our table to when he hovered around us during the course of our meal ( please note we are very polite, seasoned diners) I don’t ever recount having encountered such bad behaviour ever. What’s worse is when I called out his attitude, he threw a public fit ( I kid you not) Avoid this place unless you value slightly above average food over your dignity as a paying customer. Deeply disappointed.
Urni
We might not have chosen the best day to go there: it was overcrowded and the food was just about okay, nothing to write home about. Not sure if I'm willing to give them another try unless I hear about some particularly exciting addition to their menu that turns into a must-try.
Agent RICKY
This place is a great option for Chinese lovers. One of the best chinese restaurants I've ever visited! The food is great and the ambience is awesome!
Jaya Bagaria
The visit here has been only a disappointment for me today. I have always been here since my childhood days with my family but today's visit has created an utter repellance. The only reason being there wasn't any hygiene concern. While we were seated in front of the bar and were dining with food on plate, the man clearly started booming nearby my table. He did that twice with a brush and pan and literally brushing the carpet. And this wasn't even near the door or at a hand's distance but right next to my table. To my utter shock I had to tell him twice with a raised voice not to brush the floor while we were eating. He obviously turned a deaf ear to what I said so did the waiters and the servers. He stopped only when I raised my voice and told him again not to sweep when we are eating. This is a violation of hygiene. And this cannot be tolerated.
Sanhita Samanta
One of my favorite place in town. It seves both Chinese and Indian. But i have never tried the Indian cuisine here. It is a very budget friendly place, especially when you are in a big group. This place is located just opposite to flurys, park street. Its is having a very big dining place. Liquor is also available but it is on a bit higher side. One plate of rice or noodles is enough for two people. The amount they serve is really good. We ordered 3 side dishes and 3 noodles, the bill was some Rs1880, which I think is pretty cheap.
Ambience:- 4/5
Food:-4/5
Decor:-4/5
Service:-5/5
Pocket pinch:-5/5
Priyanka Halder Sankhanidhi
Flavors of China - truly !!! In love with the fish finger with tartar sauce ( musttttt try )

Ambience - Its quite big enough with lovely view. I really love the ambience and also the table mat which has some Chinese dates and years are written. Its neat and clean.

Food - no doubt ! Its too good , i personally love the flavors. Rice and noodles are normal as in other restaurant but yes starters and other dishes are too good.
.
During weekends or festivals the place is too packed up and you have to wait really a long time but that's OK.. Wen u get good food we forget the long queque 😋

If anyone likes Chinese and he/she does not visit Barb-Q, he’s doing injustice to himself. Whenever I go there, I have a traditional order. We order the Crispy Chilli Baby Corn, Sweet Corn Soup & Chilly Garlic Noodles. Definitely recommended !
Palma Gayen
Received worst behaviour from the attendees and waiters. They take a lot of time for each order. The food is of averay quality, not worth the hype.

Awesome Chinese food. Best double roasted pork. It's there for so long with the same lovely dishes. Whenever I crave for pork I will visit this place. Such soft delicious. Quantity they serve is quite good.
Shrabana Ghose
The food is delicious. I loved the Drums of Heaven and Chicken Hakka Noodles. And nothing can be said for the Hot Brownie with Vanilla Icecream. But the best part was the service. The waiters are very polite and adept.
Sanjana Dasgupta
So this place is verbally quite popular. I've been here quite a few times but the experience has never been upto the mark.
We tried
Mocktails : Deep sea & green island which was merely made with Sprite & jal jeera
Biriyani was extremely light with strong smell of ghee.
Mushrooms were saltess.
Fried rice could have tasted way better.
Darsan and chocolate rolls were good but they took nearly 30mins to serve it on our table.
Staff and service is courteous.
Vijeta Wadhwana
Amazing food. Amazing service.
Feels like home coming here.
Must try for vegetarians: chilli garlic hakka noodles and paneer in hot garlic sauce!

Amazing food , nice ambiance , wonderful taste , i really loved it ... must visit here
Awesome taste #Foodis life ,#foodies#foodlife , really love it

The food was not upto the mark, ordered pan fried chilly fish, drums of heaven, singing chicken and mixed fried rice. The starters were really bland, cold and too much oily. Coming to the main course, right from the beginning I told the waiters to cancel the fried rice but they didn't. I ws quite surprised but later realised they have served the rice which was prepared much before, the rice was really stinking. Really had a very bad experience. Not expected from such a posh restaurant.

Went there with family for dinner on a late Sunday evening. When I entered the place a huge group of crowd was gathered near the staircase. It was the swiggy and Zomato guys for taking their deliveries. As expected there was a long que of guests but after waiting for 10 mins we got a table for 6. Ordered Chicken dumplings in Peking sauce, golden fried prawn, chicken spring roll, Cantonese noodles and mixed noodles accompanied with honey chicken and chilli garlic lamb. Dumplings were good but size was small, golden fried prawn is a must try. It's crispy and had a good chunk of prawn. Spring rolls were okayish. Both the noodles tasted well. Honey chicken was very tasty and sweet to the tastebuds but a let down was the lamb dish. Quantity of all the dish were pretty generous. Service was top notch since it was buzzing with guests but still they managed it very smoothly. Price was also very reasonable. All this food along with 4 soft drinks fetched us just Rs.2840.

A very quaint outlet. Well balanced decor, with plenty of naturally lit areas if you are looking for it. A vast menu with equally versatile selection. Prices can seem a bit on the expensive side if you are from Kolkata. But, it's Park Street.
Krishnendu Kundu
Didn't really enjoy the food!

There was absolutely no taste in the food. The butler was in a hurry to serve the food!

Two good things: Nice hospitality, good quantity - We had to pack most of the dishes home.
Akash Goswami
Food is really good but the staff should be more humble. They are arrogant as the place is always full. Ambience is good and the restaurant is very spacious.
Sreya Roy
Well it's a great place a perfect family restaurant. Quite expensive but somehow it's worth it. I loved the place the ambience the aura of the place is really good. Its perfect resto for family outings. It is a good one time visit in the posh expensive park Street Area.
Shashwat Kanoria
This place has been a childhood favourite of mine but my recent visit on has marked a dent on its memories l. We had over ordered as usual and our chilli garlic noodles and choupsey was left. Around half Choupsey was left and we did not even touch chilli garlic noodles and asked them to pack. Both of them. They by mistake gave that to someone else, when we asked for our parcel they asked us to wait for 10 mins and they are preparing our order. I was fine with it. They hit my order and i left when I came home after seeing the quantity of chilli garlic noodles i was astonished. Did not expected this from BarBQ. I was half small box. Our full plate noodles become less than half. They gave a small box and filled it half only. Totally unfair and felt cheated. So next time if you are packing anything from here please double check before leaving and management if anything can be done let me know do not want to scar my memories for you
Eatonomicss
I was confused as they have three separate sections for each cuisines. Their Chinese is famous and one should not even date to eat any other cuisines other than Chinese. It was 15th April, very crowded. Staffs are courteous but we did mistake we ordered tandoor food and that was a disappointment.
Pratik
A very good restaurant for chinese cuisine.. The behavior of the staff is very polite, the ambience is quite good and the decoration is amazing.. The food is very good but I think the price is a little high.. overall a must try.

Went there on summer afternoon on recommendation of a friend, and it was not at all disappointing. If one is craving for authentic Chinese food, flavours of China is must visit.Placed in heart of park street..few minutes of walk from Park Street metro. Great food - order some mixed noodles with it order some Mandarin fish.Food was yummy and the quality is A+ along lumpsum quantity at very affordable price. Please try their fish dishes they are really good. One thing one need to pay attention going there is that after 3.30 in afternoon they stop their service and again re open it around 7. So beware don't land up within that time frame 🎃
Pritha Ghosh
Good food. Nice ambience. Dimly lit seating arrangements. The quantity is sufficient for 2 people a plate and half of a 3rd one. The mixed fried rice was okay. But the bbq roasted rice was beyond anything. The pork dishes ar really tasty. The kung pao chicken is not worth 300 bucks. But the other spicy variants are nice and tasty. The staffs are courteous and I highly recommend this place for a perfect Chinese dining

Had a high hope when picked this place. Me n my pregnant wife choose this place for a near perfect weekend lunch gateway. Flavors of China made our day.
At first those who are bit health conscious must be happy as they don't put ajinomoto on anything. Instead their food taste awesome.
We ordered 1. Chicken coriander soup, 2. Garlic pepper fried fish. 3. Prawn chicken fried rice 4. Chili garlic prawn and one Budweiser pint 😊
The waiters are too polite and too gentleman.
Ambience is as Chinese as possible, crowded yet enough room to make it comfortable.
This place is classy. One must visit here.
It was a great experience.
With Srijita De

you should try atleast for a time BAR BQ. If i talk about ambiance its really very good. the managers are very polite. lets come to the dish. we have tried LAT ME KAI a thai dish as a starter. which was really very well cooked ,the fried chili mixed with some onion and ginger and chicken . then there was chicken drumstick that was upto mark. Next i will talk about FRIED RICE mixed with PRAWN . one should try this as a main course with Some GINGER CHILI PEPPER.. Price was not much for all item.

Went there on Tuesday, had the worst service! We had specifically asked them not to add pork in our food but they had added in one of our dish despite us telling them not to, after lunch we realised what a blunder they had made. They should be a bit more professional.. they did not charge us for that but it was something very unprofessional... the food wasn’t that great either.

Whenever I want to order the food the service is unavailable. No matter any time. 👎. Whenever I order the restaurant has stopped taking order go and select a different option comes up..

This is a super packed place which would be busy even on a weekday for lunch. Blame it or give credit to it’s amazing location, lovely decor and wonderful staff. Did I mention the killer food.
I first went here with a gang of girls and boy did we hog like anything. We had everything. Like literally.
Recently I went with a friend who was vegetarian and out of town and wanted to experience the Calcutta Chinese. This place was the first that came to my mind.
I was pleasantly surprised that their veg was amazing too.
We had some spicy veg dumplings, potato in tsng ho sauce and chilli garlic noodles.
All was spot on.
Can’t wait to go back.

Visited recently while in Kolkata with friends. One of the best places to have Authentic Chinese food in Kolkata. I really appreciate the quantity of the food. One plate can definitely serve 3 people easily. Also the taste is great. The staffs are friendly with good service.

This place has one of the best chinese food in town. I really appreciate their service and gesture. The food was mind boggling. Special mention: Golden Fried Prawns & Drums Of Heaven was a magic in taste. They really serve fresh and delicious food which you will never be disappointed at which I believe. This place is linked with Bar-B-Q. I really wanna visit here soon for their lovely delicious dishes.

Perfect place for people who love Indo-Chinese like me. We ordered drums of heaven, lat mai kai and Singapore five spice chicken as starters. For main course we ordered Mixed frice rice, chilly dry pork and garlic pepper chicken.

The portion size is enough for 2 - 3 people.. So order accordingly specifically the starters and sides..

Decor is classy for casual dining.. Ideal for family outings..
A very good Chinese restaurant.

Stepped into this place on the day of Saraswati Puja (10/2/2019) for lunch. The place was quite crowded. Although we got the seat as soon as we entered the restaurant but there were lot of people after us who had wait for the seat. Loved the ambience . The waiters are all well behaved and helpful. We have ordered noodles, rice and a chicken dish . The quality of the food was good. The quantity of the food was so much more than two. Atlast,we need to pack the remaining food. Will visit this place again. Priyanka Manna

I arrived straight from the airport with family and it happened to be rush hour /peak time for the outlet and inspite of that we experienced excellent service ( quick to say the least) and the food was alarmingly delicious. I can rightfully say this is the best Chinese I've had in the country so far. ! Keep it up !

The waiting time is too long.. very arrogant in behaviour.. they had sand in the food and on telling them they replied that its mint leaf.. extremely uncourteous
