Review Red Hot Chilli Pepper - Kolkata (Calcutta)

It’s always been one of my favourite restaurants for Chinese food in the city…ever since it’s inception more than two decades ago and Ballygunge was the first of many. RHCP, now a global chain has managed, over the years to maintain their standards. Special mention to the waiters. They were so sweet and kind to my mum in particular who was struggling to get out of the car in the rain. Their warmth speaks volumes They have great desserts too

This place is nothing short of exquisite, each and every dish that you order has a touch that is very different from all the restaurants that i have ever been to. Price based on the quantity they serve is justified according to me. They have maintained the quality from a long time and i am certain probably this is one of the best Chinese restaurant in kolkata far ahead of it's other rivals. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm going to be back there soon.

Service was a bit delayed. Food taste was missing that RHCP flavour. Overall a pleasant experience.

Food has always been very good...been visiting here for a long long time...it is a bit pricey though... Still it has my favorite dishes...so I am good to go whenever I feel like having some 'comfort chinense'!

WE ordered Crackling spinach (a MUST HAVE) Seafood coriander soup Pepper chicken, Fish wild pepper(didn't find any bell peppers in it though), a strawberry mocktail (YUM) and a budwiser beer .... food was very good, service VERY prompt, friendly staff, but the food was EXPENSIVE.... we spent INR 2075/- for two of us...

Every single dish on both our visits were amazing! Be it the pork, lamb, chicken or noodles! Absolutely fantastic food! The prices may be on the higher side but the taste and portion sizes justify it completely!
DEVASHISH GHOSH

This place is a bit expensive just like any fine dining but the food is truly amazing. The ambience is really good. The staff are very polite. The portion is big. Everything is great about this place. Don't judge it by it's outward appearance as the front door is not very classy buy as you go inside you'll see that it's worth it. It is very appropriate for family dinner. The crowd is not rowdy at all. You should go there.
