Situated in a prime location, its a pocket friendly punjabi food joint, although they serve chinese items as well. We had cheese omelette, Makke di roti , Sarso da saag , chicken tikka kadai, lassi, kheer and cake custard. The roti and the saag was awesome. Chicken tikka kadai was good enough too. Lassi is as good as you would expect from a punjabi dhaba. Must try item is cake custard it was yummy. Not a very hygienic place but still it has its own charm. Surely visit for the makke di roti ,that saag and the cake custard.

A wonderful place for having veg items. But their price is higher than the nearest other restaurants. But, I strongly recommend this restaurant for at least one time.

Taste of proper Punjabi food. The flavour from the masala used seems to be just like what you get at Amritsar local joints. Happy to see that flavour has not altered. Some of the Roti variety is very unique… worth a shot!

Had a very great experience each and every time I visited this place. The quality of the food served is absolutely finger-licking. Would definitely recommend this place to all my acquaintances. The price offered is also reasonable.

This is just a Hidden Gem in New Market area. From outside it never looks appealing so I never entered. But on 3rd Dec 2022 I went to this old restaurant... Its a pure Punjabi Restaurant....even more punjabi people are there.. Food price are less but no compromise in quality or quantity... Polite behaviour and fast service... For take away i ordered tandoori roti..and plain kulcha but later on i saw its huge and soft tandoori roti..only rs 10... And i took punjabi chicken masala half..means 4 pc 250 rs...that was sooooo awesome... Full plate is rs 400... Even when i was waiting for food that small lassi at rs 35....though their small glass looks huge for me.... Even I had their EGG COMBO MEAL THALI on 12th Dec 2022 So if anybody is looking for good and reasonable punjabi food ...must visit this place... Location opp of Treasure island/ac market and beside Globe...

The place to eat in Kolkata if you want authenticity ,cleanliness , great service help and advice with levels of spice and delicious fresh food. And the Kheer. ( rice pudding) is extraordinary. We were welcomed and looked after and we left the restaurant on both occasions we visited full and happy

They serve very tasty Punjabi foods and the price of the items are quite pocket friendly. I didn't like the chicken thali that much but their different types of rotis, Irani chicken, and dum aloo was too good. Must visit if you are in Esplanade.

Awesome place for Desi food lovers. Authentic Punjabi Restaurant. Makki di roti and sarso da sag is the best item I have ever eaten. You will love the doodh chai. Morning and Evening snacks like omelette, butter toasts are available all the time. Must try is the veg & non veg thali. You will get special winter food. Try daal & butter tawa roti anytime. Located in a crowded place. Car parking is nearby but tough to find a place. Bike parking is easy.

Quality food in pocket friendly price. It is my go to place whenever I want economical, healthy and quality food. I had ordered makai ka roti and sarso ka sag (both of which are the most famous items of the Dhaba) along with paneer vegetable, which too was delicious. The fact that the food had minimum amount of oil is what I loved the most. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fulfilling lunch after being spent on shopping in New Market.

Absolutely love this place and the owner, Amrit. He’s a timeless-wise- compassionate-intelligent man. Along with being an angel; he always has a newspaper to read and the best food and chai / lassi to eat and drink with it. Kolkata did not feel complete without walking into Khalsa’s world;-) I’ve been coming here for over 13 years now✌️

They Serve hot and tasty food. If you want budget friendly lite food point then this might be your best choice. One more thing, I like to share that the Sardarji who manage the cash counter, he calculated the bill price on slet by a chowk. I really liked it.
