As a passionate food lover and frequent diner, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exquisite offerings at Sly Fox Gastro Pub in Sector 5. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by an ambiance that beautifully marries modern aesthetics with a soothing, serene atmosphere. The menu, a delightful fusion of culinary cultures, left me spoilt for choice. The standout for me was undoubtedly the Butter Chicken Jacket Potatoes – a divine concoction that flawlessly combines the rich, comforting flavors of butter chicken with the hearty goodness of jacket potatoes. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The creativity extended to the Sushi Prawn Tempura, where the prawns were perfectly tempura-battered, resulting in a crunchy exterior that gave way to succulent, melt-in-the-mouth prawn inside. The Burnt Garlic Fried Rice was a fragrant masterpiece that had just the right balance of umami and aromatic garlic. The Watermelon Basil Cooler was a revelation – a refreshing elixir that perfectly complemented the diverse flavors on the menu. Food was delicious, we ordered for Crab Cake Sizzler, Half Chicken Roast with cinnamon barbeque sauce and Grilled Fish served with Veggies as main course. Star of the show was Non-veg Dawat-e-Kabab comprising 12 pieces of chicken, of four different flavours! Desserts like Tiramissu and Chocolate chesecake were yumm n melt in the mouth.. For drink we had Watermelon Basil Cooler and Black Tango each of which were uniquely docorated, with tiny ice cup containing pomegranate. Just loved everything here. Decor was splendid, very spacious with attractive spots to get yourself clicked.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at SLY FOX GASTRO CLUB for a team lunch, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The combination of delectable food, impeccable service by Mr. Arindam, and a perfect ambience made it a memorable outing for our entire team. From the first bite to the last, each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether it was the appetizers, main courses, or desserts, every dish showcased the chef's creativity and culinary expertise. The ambience at SLY FOX GASTRO CLUB was also worth noting. The interior decor was tastefully done, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The seating arrangements were comfortable, allowing for an enjoyable meal without feeling cramped. Whether it was a team lunch like ours or an intimate dinner, the restaurant's ambiance was perfectly suited for any occasion.

We went there on a weekend to see what the hype was all about! Well, it didn't really live up to its hype. The food was above average for sure but it wasn't all that great. The service was okay at best. They took so much time to prepare our food especially the pasta. Also something I should mention is that the price is a little on the expensive side. If you're near Sector V there are a multitude of other restaurants to try to be honest than going here and burning cash. The decor and the ambience was okay too. There's nothing spectacular that needs mentioning. Go there if you really want to. Food - 4/5 Ambience -3.5/5 Price - 4.5/5

The food is stunning, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is really good. Went in a rainy day so enjoyed the dripping rain from the big glass windows while having a good time. For weekends one should definitely add this place to their bucket list.

An absolute favourite place of mine, love the decor, courteous staff and each and every food item - butter chicken jacket potatoes, grilled fish with lemon caper sauce , chicken steak in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and veggies, watermelon cooler! This is located in Globsyn Crystals building - people working/staying in and around Sector-5 Saltlake, this is a must visit place.

This is another good foodjoint in kolkata I have explored a few months back. And I liked the place a lot. Starting with the ambience, the place is a great party place while it offers you cozy corners to enjoy the music and relax. Next, I loved the food. In fact, I feel that this is one of the best places to enjoy sushi. Besides, they also serve some delectable continental dishes. So, if you love continental food, then this is one of the best places you should visit. Last but not least, I also liked the service offered by the staff members. So, overall it is an amazing service overall.

The food is delicious, and the ambiance is great, but a bit pricey. The pub is in the Globsyn building opposite Refinery. The music is not too loud, so you can enjoy peaceful conversations and good food.

Overall experience is good, ambiance are nice i really like the ambiance also when I visited the musics they were planning are my favourites. But prices are too high to me,not every one can afford to visit the place , foods quality was good but not extraordinary also i think the quantity they serve not justify the price. I visited last Friday with few office friends te be precise we visited 5 people and we ordered Banjara chicken kababs (5pcs) Kolkata style bhetki (5pcs) White sauce chicken pasta Chicken pizza(angri panda) 4 butter nun Chicken tikka masala (4pcs) In drinks we ordered 8 friends with benefits mocktail For this dishes we paid Rs.8500 So, it's quite expensive to me but if u can afford you can surely visit the place.

I was there with my friends today, on friendship day. We were served by Mr Mintu, who made sure that our friendship day ended with something very memorable....Thanks to Slyfox for the awesome food that you all served.

Amazing decor and spacious🤩,Coming to the food,all the items were lip-smacking and absolutely delicious.We ordered the Foxy Dimsums(veg) because they had run out of the non veg variety,it is a must try. Another appetizer we had ordered was thr Peri Peri Murgh Tikka,which was equally good,For the main course,we had the Three Way Pepper Chicken which is good in portion for two and has rice with Curry leaves and Chicken prepared three ways,for Dessert we had the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake(a must try)! Overall,this place is highly recommended and is a must visit for all!

This place has reopened following all protocols after the pandemic. There food presentation is amazing. The Tanduri prawn was perfectly done and served pretty quickly. Butter chicken in jack potato, though a popular dish, was a bit sweet for my taste. Lamb shoulder steak was made with soft juicy lamb shoulder with a side of veggies. The ambience was good and staff was helpful. Overall a good experience.<br/>

Date of visit : 06-09-2020<br/>Me and my boyfriend went for a Sunday lunch date. It is located at Globsyn building. Before entering they follow some safety measures like checking the body temperature, taking your WhatsApp number to forward the menu card and ask you to sanitize your hand with their sanitizer. <br/><br/>In starter we ordered crispy lamb, it was my first time for lamb and it was too crispy and tasty. <br/>Main course we took Chicken Steak, one with mayonnaise and other with stuffed mushrooms. Both were damn good but the smashed potato could have been better. <br/><br/>This place got a really classy ambience ! Would love to visit again.😇<br/>

This was my second visit to this place. We had ordered Butter chicken and jacket potatoes, prawn chilli garlic noodles, herb grilled chicken breast with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes in black pepper sauce and Philadelphia chicken steak served with vegetables and mashed potatoes in mushroom sauce<br/><br/>1. Butter chicken with jacket potatoes: I had ordered this in my first visit and I loved it so much that I decided to order the same this time too. Sadly, they served just butter chicken on the jacket potatoes. Zero for presentation and they did not even provide the dip.<br/>2. Prawn chilli garlic noodles: the only good thing<br/>3. Herb chicken in black pepper sauce and 4. Philadelphia chicken in mushroom sauce: both the dishes were EXACTLY the same(the pictures are identical too). The sauce was same in both the dishes.<br/><br/>Overall, we were pretty disappointed. 10/10 would NOT recommend to go there during this outbreak and restrictions.

Sly Fox Gastro Club is situated in the heart of Sector 5, Salt Lake. It's easy to reach once you locate Globsyn Crystal campus. There are a lot of other restaurants in this campus like 6 Ballygunge Place, Refinery 091 etc.<br/><br/>Now, speaking about a restaurant, the primary concern that comes to our mind is the safety, hygiene and trustworthiness of a restaurant. Taste of the food and the ambience are honestly the later concern. I chose Sly Fox because I've been here earlier and I liked their professional behavior, hygiene measures on a regular day as well and that honestly gave me the confidence to try it out.<br/><br/>Upon reaching the restaurant, we were asked to sanitize our hands with their sanitizer that is kept at their entry. Then, our temperature were checked and they took our WhatsApp number so that they can send the menu on our phones. All the waiters and the manager were wearing masks and gloves and there were Sanitizers kept all around the restaurant. The seating arrangement of Sly Fox has by default been quite spread, hence social distancing is ensured.<br/><br/>After getting seated, we decided to go for a few appetizers:<br/>1. Peri Peri Chicken Tikka: This was undoubtedly the star of the appetizers. The chicken was cooked very well and it tasted just amazing! Also, the onion that they provided with it was soo good that it left us wanting for more of both chicken as well as the onions.<br/>2. Pan Fried Chilly Garlic Prawns: Tastes average at best, rather bland actually. The prawns were fresh though.<br/>3. Sliced fish in Hoisin Sauce: This tastes absolutely the way it is supposed to taste. The fish was soft and fresh with a well made Hoisin sauce. Good work here!<br/><br/>On main course, we ordered our own Steaks. On my last visit here a while back, I had the steak and I absolutely loved that so I was pre-decided to go for it this time as well. I opted for the Grilled Fish Fillet in Lemon Caper Butter Sauce. It comes with mashed potatoes and veggies. The fish was soft, as expected and the sauces used to cook it was just brilliant as well. veggies were well cooked as well. The only thing that could have been better is the mashed potatoes. It was good, like any other mashed potato but the last time I had the steak here, that was the best mashed potato I ever had. This time, it was like any other mashed potato.<br/><br/>The striking factor, the reason for this review, is to show a very interesting and unique thing to the viewers. As shown in the 5th photo, they are actually displaying the live footage from inside the kitchen so that everybody has a clear and transparent idea about the hygiene measures they are taking. This does build a lot of trust on the restaurant and is an excellent initiative. More restaurants should incorporate this, at least the expensive ones.<br/><br/>Finally about ambience, which is honestly my last concern during these times, it is excellent. Chandeliers all around and it really looks so pretty. Long story short, it is grand and exquisite! I'll definitely visit here again!

The first thing that spellbinds you the moment you walk into this Restaurant at Globsyn Crystals in Sector 5 Salt Lake is the decor and the ambience. It is a fusion of style and art. The high ceiling and the lovely chandeliers coupled with the indoor plants, fountain and wall decor is bound to impress even the most demanding patron. This is a child friendly restaurant (providing kid safety plate, glass and cutlery) and there are various games like tic tac toe and jenga to indulge in. The food was lovely also I will mention each and every item from the menu is superb but the desserts are main players However, I feel that the menu can be a bit more varied. The place was very neat and tidy and the staff very helpful and courteous. All the staff are extremely friendly.<br/>

The first thing that catches your eyes is the classy and sassy decor of this place,it's ust extravagant. The second thing best about this place is there innovative ways of food presentation, they just take it to another level. Not only do they look good, they even taste really good. Recommendations : do try out the variety of mocktails that they offer, they taste amazing, the raviolis served here has my heart, kebabs are awesome, pasta, noodles all are worth trying. Sly fox gastro was a place I wanted to visit for long. The place has amazing decors and is very pretty. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The service was also quick. <br/>We ordered: <br/>•Chicken sizzler : The sizzling sound was very satisfying so was the chicken. It was juicy and tender accompanied with veggies and rice. <br/>• Chicken Biryani : It was okay, it did not taste as how an authentic biryani would have tasted. So it was okay. <br/>•pasta : It was tasty and very saucy & was accompanied with bread at the side. <br/>It’s a good place to visit, it’s better not to order the mughlai stuff but the others.

The restaurant has got some beautiful interiors.<br/>Grab a cold beer and some tempura prawns tossed in peanut butter sauce and Nimbu achari murgh tikka (one of the best kebabs I ever).<br/>Perfect place to spend some quality time with your loved ones. The ambience Is the first thing anyone will notice as soon as you enter the restaurant. There is something about that place that instantly made me comfortable and put me in a good mood. <br/><br/>I was greeted by a very courteous staff who was more than helpful with the menu selection and provided impeccable service. I had order jacket potato chicken tikka, cream cheese dumplings and chocolate brownies. Unfortunately I could take a picture of only the jacket potato. The food was soo good that I did not want to wait long enough to click pictures. <br/><br/>The food is sinfully good and fed my inner glutton. Can't wait to go back.

This place is simply amazing. The ambiance, the decor, the staff, the food everything just matches your expectations. I tried freakshake which was too good, Red wine sangria, Daawat-e-Kabab. The kebab platter presentation is so sumptuous. Tandoori aloo steals the show. I also tried lasagna which tasted too good.<br/>I'm going to definitely give this place another visit.

The staffs are completely uncoordinated among themselves. On our order they told that they would be giving corporate discounts but at the end they give zero discounts. Secondly, they charge the cusmoter for food which they did not order. <br/>Completely unsupportive staff.

Good to offer 10% corporate discount; dessert; daal makhni; chicken starters were great. Prices were bit on the higher side; occupancy relatively thin on a mid week. Service levels were satisfactory however more boneless non veg main course should be available. Music levels were ok; not unnecessarily loud.

Located near globsyn crystals, just opposite to jaisalmer restaurant, this place has a posh ambience but it isn't a very huge place. The seating arrangement was comfortable and the staff were well mannered! Coming to the menu, we had ordered mocktails (there were almost 15 of us) and each one was worth a try. We had ordered huge amount of food of which the kebab platter and steak were noteworthy. The food was well presented and the kebab platter was brought in a unique cage like platter. The biryani was an absolute failure and so were the pizza. The continental dishes were fine. Dont visit this place during christmas because they charge surplus cover charges during that time. The price is bit on the higher side though.

To start with this place has delighted me in more than one way. The decor is amazing and has old world charm. There is a dual seating arrangement - the regular diner style and the high chair seating. The service was commendable too. We ordered lasooni murg tikka and gondhoraj calcutta bhetki tikka as appetizers. While I absolutely loved the murg tikka, the fish starter was good too. For the main course we ordered, lobster thermidor, hyderabadi biriyani and murg makhani. Again, no compromises were made on the taste and quality and the biriyani deserves a special mention. Finally for deserts we had blueberry cheesecake and chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream. The presentation of the cheesecake caught our attention as the cheesecake was covered with a cloud of blue candy floss! In all, it was great experience and hope to come back soon again!

UNBEARABLE AUDIO LEVEL!<br/><br/>This is the foremost thing that comes to mind when I think about Sly Fox. I have been to a few pubs both in India and abroad, and nowhere has the music been this loud. It's not uncommon for pubs to play music so loud that you virtually have to shriek into your companion's ears, but the decibel level as Sly Fox actually made us feel nauseous. Needless to say, requesting the waiters to turn it down a couple of notches didn't help either.<br/><br/>As for the food, Sly Fox doesn't do too bad. We visited this place during last Ashtami, and had to wait for half an hour before we finally got a table (in hindsight, it would have been better if we hadn't waited). Anyway, we had the Butter Chicken Jacket Potato and Dong Hoi Crispy Fish as starter. I found the chicken preparation to be quite tasty and innovative. Main course consisted of a plate of Chicken pasta, which was also pretty satisfactory. But as I already said before, the dining experience was completely ruined by the complete inability to speak or listen during the course of the meal!<br/><br/>In a nutshell, Sly Fox is good when it comes to food, but zero (negative, in fact) in the ambiance department.

In love with the place.. the food was fingerlicking specially the kebab & the dessert..had a great birthday dinner there..ambience was also nice..would love to go there again & again..❤❤

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and found the place oddly not crowded. A man beautifully crooned songs by artists (or bands) ranging from Pink Floyd to Seafret. Unfortunately, we were unable to catch his name.<br/>Sly Fox itself is decorated very pleasantly, especially with the Christmas decor still up (both inside and outside).<br/>We ordered foxy dimsum, sliced fish in hoisin sauce for starters. Red Lotus, Caprioska and Long Island Iced Tea for drinks. Meat lovers pizza, herb grilled chicken breast, diced chicken in hoisin sauce and chilli garlic fried rice with eggs, chicken and prawn. Finally we ordered the Tic Tac Toe and Tiramisu.<br/>The only thing that disappointed us out of all the items was the foxy dimsum. The point of colourful chicken filled momos (yes, I am aware of the difference between the two) and charging hefty prices for it escaped us. Anyway...<br/>The fish in hoisin sauce was so wonderful that we had to order another round. The drinks (especially the Red Lotus and the Iced Tea) were good. The pizza was thin-crust and although I don't enjoy thin-crust pizzas, this one was delicious. Always a steak fan, I quite liked the herb grilled chicken steak and of course one can rarely go wrong with Chinese food (notice the repeat of Hoisin sauce on our part).<br/>The desserts were quite good, but the tic tac toe format for the crème brûlée appeared a bit bizarre (it seemed to be a ploy to reduce the portions).<br/>The staff are very polite, and they do charge a separate service tax. The prices are on the higher side.<br/>In any case, we enjoyed the food and the ambience very much and I, for one, would love to go back.<br/><br/>Annesha Mandal

Well i went to this place with a lot of hope but it was a big let down in terms of food. Ambience wise -very pretty and a good place for clicking pics but the music was loud. Presentation of food was also very pleasing.We had ordered sliced fish in hoisin sauce and daawat e kebab platter for starters.sliced fish had a bit more salt than required and in tht platter, the bhetki item was good but the entire thing wasn't served that hot as it should have been.Then for main course i had ordered meat lovers pizza...it had a thin crust with generous amount of toppings but the sides felt burnt.<br/>The salmon steak was suggested by them...good news was that the fish was fresh otherwise it wasn't of a taste liked by me(i guess it's good enough for people looking out for healthy options).The pricepoint is high.Overall ,an average experience and not worth the price for the portions they offer and the taste.

We went(4 person) there on 22nd dec..we were told to wait 20 mins..after 1 hour while we were still waiting outside at cold a 6 seater table went vacant and me & my sister, who was pregnant & not feeling ok, sat there. Then suddenly the manager Mr. Banerjee came and started shouting upon and insulted us. Then we were forced to leave the table, and we had to wait another 10 mins before we were allotted a 4 seater table, though the 6 seater table was still vacant and it remained vacant till closing! As We were the last to leave the place on that day. My question is, wheather we made a crime by sitting on that 6 seater? We went for a pleasant dinner time at your renowned restaurant, who would compensate the insult we had to bear? Your food is good and without such an ill mannered manager your restaurant will do well.

Location: Globsyn Crystals Building, Sector V, Salt Lake<br/><br/>Ambience: Sprawling, chic and classy<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Philadelphia Cream Cheese Dimsums(3.5/5): Marks deducted for the portion size, the taste was on point.<br/><br/>Foxy Chicken Dimsum(3.5/5): The taste was pretty pedestrian, the filling could have been moister.<br/><br/>Butter Chicken Jacket Potatoes(3.5/5): The concept is novel but the execution could have been better. The butter chicken tasted bland and along with the mashed potatoes, the overall dish fell flat.<br/><br/>Angry Panda Pizza(3.5/5): Thin crust pizza with ample toppings.<br/><br/>Gulab Jamun Cheesecake(4/5): The gulab jamun flavour within the cheesecake was missing but the dessert in itself was very tasty.<br/><br/>Prices: Overpriced when compared to the portion sizes.<br/><br/>Service: Impeccable.<br/><br/>Verdict: Pretty good gastronomical experience accentuated by the ambience and the service.

In sector v this place got really nice food and a calm and soothing ambience.<br/>Courteous staffs and good servicing.<br/>A must go place if you on a date or with friends and family...

The ambience and decor was really great. The food was good, although there's room for improvement. The price is a bit unfair on some items if compared to other dine outs of this par. Altogether, had a delightful experience with my family.

Food is good. Ambience is nice. Seating, decor, service is great.

Classy ambiance and chic decor will make you feel at peace. Not heavy on the pocket too compared to the kind of service they give. Philadelphia cheese dimsums are to die for and so is the charred tomato basil soup

It’s a very classy and elegant place with beautiful chandeliers and the ambience was a cherry on the cake.<br/>In the frame “Gulab Jamun Cheesecake” a regular cheesecake with an addition of Gulab Jamun on the top, maple syrup on the sides and three strips of white chocolate to make the dish look irrestible. <br/>Taste - 4.3/5 , Price - ₹265 ,<br/>Value for money - 4.3/5
